I found a hair in the food, and I think after seeing something like that, you won't have the appetite or desire to go to that restaurant again.

The delivery person arrived late and apparently couldn't find the bell on the first attempt. The pizzas were ice cold which suggests that professional warming boxes were not used. Never again.

Just ordered mozzarella pizza, sadly it was tasting like nothing, but pizza Margherita was really good

8 out of 10 orders we ordered were always wrong, one of us always had to wait and was allowed to watch us eat because his order was wrong and he had to wait for the new order and still had to pay the full price despite hours of waiting. Conclusion: Our editorial team cannot recommend this pizzeria.

Ordered 2 pizzas to take away. The staff was nice, but it just lacked some charm. When we got home we noticed that my ruccola was missing from the pizza BUT it had been taken away. Not nice, but we had fresh basil at home, which saved it. The pizza was ok, not great, but better than most in the area. However, it's heavy on my stomach, which is never the case with pizza. We are still thinking about another visit...

You shouldn't expect too much from the ambience here, but the pizza is always great and you can also eat the pasta if you're in a hurry.

We always like to visit this restaurant and combine it with doctor's visits since we have a longer journey. Super delicious food at a good price-performance ratio, with 👍 extremely friendly service that is also on point 🤗 keep it up and see you next time

Very tasty when I'm in ffm again

Well, the concept is self-service, but that's fine. Had Puzza No. 6, which had great toppings (fresh mushrooms!) and tasted crispy and delicious. I'll definitely go there again when I get a little hungry.

Absolutely disgraceful behavior towards customers on the phone. How can you tell a person that their German is very bad? Are you even sane?

I think the food is very good. The price is also reasonable. The delivery times have always been short and so far all special requests have been correctly taken into account.

Very unfriendly employee at the checkout, credit card only for a minimum order of 20 EUR, which is not up-to-date and not customer-friendly. Pasta and pizza are OK, but nothing more.

Nice pizzeria with relaxed and democratic atmosphere. Self-service which makes ordering less complicated. There are two areas - inside and outside. Pizza prepared fast and very very tasty. Highly recommend to visit with family, friends and colleagues.

This is a wonderful deli with the best assortment of meats, fine foods wine , bread, desserts, etc. Have been shopping here for years and have never been disapppointed. Prices are on the high side, but well worth it. They also have a shop on the Fressgasse Frankfurt.

This pizzeria is now a bitter disappointment. Unfriendly staff, the portions are getting smaller and more expensive! If you ask for 3 corners of pizza bread they charge an additional 2 euros and you get an eye roll. Definitely this place is no longer a recommendation!

While you're looking at the menu inside, you're repeatedly asked to move out of the way to keep the door clear (which we didn't block). When ordering you are stressed by the unfriendly staff. You can't pay by card (EC only), which we didn't see any mention of before. I'm not coming back.

Ich habe heute in der Schweizer Straße bei Meyer gegessen und war sehr unzufrieden. Grüne Soße mit Kartoffeln, die Kartoffeln wurden mir kalt serviert und die Frikadellen waren noch nicht mal durch gebraten . Für grüne Soße und Kartoffeln, so wie Frikadellen und Bratkartoffeln habe ich 27 € bezahlt. Wär ich lieber irgendwo in einem Restaurant gegangen hätte ich mehr davon gehabt. Es hat sehr nachgelassen. Die Verkäuferin sind sehr nett. Nett würde ich auch sein wenn ich was verkaufe .Bärbel Obst

Ladies and Gentlemen Despite the sticker “please no advertising”, you simply ignored it. This is a violation of personal rights and the existence of an unlawful act (§§ 1004, 823 Civil Code). I will file a complaint with the consumer advice center! If you place unauthorized advertising again, further legal action will be taken.

We ordered two pizzas with a diameter of 28cm and received two pizzas that were cold and tasted mediocre. But extremely outrageous: the diameter was measured at 24cm, so the pizza was more than 25% smaller than ordered. This is simply brazen and outrageous

We've picked it up several times and have sat in it a few times now, really recommended. Great team that is very attentive and, above all, offers an extensive selection of dishes. I especially think the pizzas are really great and can only recommend it to everyone!

At the moment the best pizza in Sachsenhausen. Perfect for take away and then to the Main. It may be arguable whether it is a bit too flimsy. Could get a little more heat from below but tastes very good. And always extremely friendly on the phone AND on site, it almost makes you want to order more :)

I definitely don't have Corona and yet the yellow substance on the pizza that looks and acts like cheese didn't taste like anything. Funny.

I have to get rid of this now. Since this pizzeria was in Sachsenhausen, I've been a customer 1-3 times a month! Everything was always right with the delivery. Today I had to wait 1.55 hours for delivery. The time was 1.15 hours, which I would have accepted. But the pizza was cold and I didn't accept it. 10 minutes later the call came from the pizzeria saying that the person calling said he had received the pizza back and that it was still warm. That's what he wanted to tell me. The pizza would never be delivered hot anyway. I said, "That may be so, but I've never received a cold pizza in years. This one was cold!" I'm very annoyed about a call like that. If an apology would have been appropriate. I hope one of the bosses of this pizzeria reads this and asks for better service again, as I enjoyed ordering there.

Nice place but unfortunately no service. You sit on the 1st floor and have to get your orders yourself. Unfortunately it's a bit too expensive for that. My pizza No. 6 was very bland in taste, but there are only spices at the bottom. Come back again? Probably not, the Swiss street has better to offer.

Great pizza and pasta! Always friendly. Just be careful at peak times, as it can get crowded. Nevertheless, so far we have always been able to get a table and eaten very, very well!

If you expect a cozy and service-oriented meal... you've come to the wrong place. If you expect a good and reasonably priced menu, you've come to the right place. Friendly . Good quality and great safe for families.

Man schmeckt direkt, das die Bock drauf haben und ihren Laden nicht wie 90% der anderen, als reine Geldruckmaschine ansehen, die alle gleich schmecken und die mit teuren Preisen und billigsten Zutaten die Kunden übern Tisch ziehen. Pizza war sehr schmackhaft. Wartezeiten kurz. Preis-Leistungs top. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Die Margarita gibts für 6,50€, insgesamt ist das entscheidende Kriterium dieser Pizzeria meiner Meinung nach der Preis. Auch mit bisschen mehr Belag bleibt es preislich einstellig. Und dafür ist die Pizza mit einer ordentlichen Käseplatte überzogen. Wie man das findet, muss jede Person selbst entscheiden. Im ersten Stock gibt es einen recht gemütlichen Sitzbereich. Insgesamt eine gute Adresse, wenn auch nicht beste.

One of the worst pizzas in Frankfurt

Immer gut besucht und lecker. Bisher nie enttäuscht worden. Die Pizzaschnecken sind super aber auch die Tagliatelle Stroganoff sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Essen ist in Ordnung, man kann gut draußen sitzen. Bei meiner letzten Bestellung meinte ich zum Lieferanten er soll 33€ machen. Der Rechnungsbetrag war 30,30€. Er hat sich jedoch 35€ genommen. Hab einfach nichts gesagt. Sorry, aber 5 Euro Trinkgeld bei einer Lieferung von 500m gebe ich nicht. Unverschämt.

Leider sehr teuer geworden( 0,2l Cola = 3€) Essen ist aber super. 👍🏻

Selbstbedienung, Das Essen ist schon eher Bistro Niveau. Allerdings ist es echt nett eingerichtet und man schwelgt in Erinnerungen

Der Ruf aus Funk und Fernsehen ist berechtigt und eilt der Pizzeria vorraus. Es ist für mich die geilste und leckerste Pizza in Frankfurt. Italienisches Flair in Big Äppler. Ein Stück Italien in Hessen. MEGA Personal in der Pizzeria und ein geniales Küchenteam. Mega Pizzabäcker. Wer gerne Pizza ist, der sollte in der geilste Pizzaria in Frankfurt essen gehen!!!

Hat leider stark an Qualität verloren. Hatten nach unserem Geschmack mal die beste Pasta. Nun eine absolute Enttäuschung. Soßen schmecken nach nichts Pilze kommen aus der Dose (oder dem Glas - auf keinen Fall frisch). Parmesan wird nur noch zur Hälfte gefüllt (waren früher voll bis oben).

Das Essen war im Großen und Ganzen gut. Auf der Pizza war kein Mozarella, dieser kostet scheinbar extra, die Pizza war etwas zu kross. Essen und trinken bestellt man am Tresen, bezahlt dieses auch gleich und muss sich das ganze dann selbst zum Platz holen. Wer also gemütlich sitzen möchte und auch mal nen Getränk vom Platz aus nachbestellen möchte ist hier falsch.

So sollte ein Pizza schmecken !

Ich habe noch nie eine solch schlechte Spargelsuppe gegessen. Die Konsistenz war so dick und klebrig.Geschmacklich leider ganz hinten. Das Personal sehr überheblich und nicht kritikfähig.

Ich war heute bei Feinkost Meyer und habe einen César Salat kaufen wollen. An der Kasse habe ich einen großen Schreck bekommen und konnte es fast nicht glauben: Der Preis des César Salat hat sich um mehr als 30% erhöht!!! Der Salat kostet jetzt 7,50 €. Das ist unverschämt,-Wucher-, Herr Geschäftsführer! Wenn ja wenigstens die Qualität erstklassig wäre, aber meistens sind die Salatblätter nicht mehr ganz so frisch und haben teilweise braune Stellen. Ich werde zukünftig dreimal überlegen, ob ich bei Meyer einkaufen werde. Ich hoffe für die Mitarbeiter von Meyer, dass diese wenigstens auch von der Preiserhöhung profitieren und auf ihrer Gehaltsabrechnung zu spüren bekommen.

...since Ploeger's moved to Vancouver...feel pretty well at the Fressgasse outlet, enjoy their restaurant there. Sandwiches and salads are fantastic, as well as their desserts, ham and typical German "Wurst" and bread specially made for them.

Íbamos un poco sin saber dónde meternos para tomar algo al medio día y nos llamó la atención el local por la variedad de productos y la calidad de los mismos. Aunque no es barato merece la pena, carnes, ensaladas, embutidos, panes. Todo hecho en el día y buenísimo. Recomiendo los Frikadellen, hay de pollo y cerdo los dos buenísimos.

Wandering along Schweizerstr. we saw colourful, delicious, fresh food to go in the window of this art deco styled double-sided deli. There are a few small tables outside to eat at. Wonderful salads, panini, soups and meat products vying for space with soup, chilli, sausages and more. Choice is almost impossible to make. There's a limited range of cold drinks and coffee. The rest of the deli sells cold meats, breads, sauces, cheeses and prepared meals to heat up at home and much more. We got a panini Alfredo and parmesan schnitzel with broccoli and potatoes dauphinoise... all heated in a few minutes. Delicious! Had iced apple juice to drink as it was a hot day. Shared our small table with regulars who eat there often. Everyone loves it. A neighbourhood gem.

Einfach nur gut, nicht ganz billig, aber preiswert, super Qualität !! Große Auswahl an Salaten, guter Mittagstisch, leckeres Fleisch.

Wer hier nicht fündig wird, dem kann man nicht mehr helfen. Feinkost vom feinsten, soweit das Auge blicken kann. Ergänzt durch unzählige kleine Accessoires. Ein toller Ort!

Seit einem knappen halben Jahrhundert kenne ich „Meyer“ in der Schweizer Straße. Schon mein Vater „eingefleischter Sachsenhäuser“ war hier Stammkunde und jetzt bin ich es. Wunderbarer toller Service, hervorragende Produkte, die ihresgleichen suchen. Unser Silvester Catering war - wie immer - hervorragend. Auch für den kleinen Snack nach einem Shoppingtrip wunderbar geeignet, gilt auch für die Filiale in der Fressgass. Und vor jedem Flug in ferne Länder sind wir bei Meyer am Flughafen. Bevor wir den manchmal etwas traurigen Bordsnack von diversen Fluggesellschaften genießen, nehmen wir lieber ein „Grillschinken- Baguette“ mit an Bord.

es führt kein Weg am Metzger Meyer vorrüber. Da muss man gewesen sein! Ein Snack im Vorbeigehen, oder der Einkauf für eine tolle Party! Es gibt Hausfrauen die kaufen hier, und erzählen ihren Gästen eines vom Pferd ;-) Quality first....absolut genial!!

Hier gibt es leckere Köstlichkeiten und nette Bedienungen dazu. Am liebsten möchte man alles mitnehmen. Preise sind aufgrund der super Qualität gerechtfertigt.

Touring Sacksenhausen on foot is wonderful but at some point, lunch was in order so we saw a lot of locals filling up plates here and sitting at tables outside in beautiful September weather. So we joined the fast-moving line and were paired with a nice English-speaking server who helped us assemble platters with 4 types of shrimp. Simply delicious and for only EUR29.

Meyer in Sachsenhausen ist schon sehr lange die angesagte Metzgerei, hohe Qualität, entwickelter Convinience-Gedanke. Mit Salaten, zubereiteten Gerichten, einem 1A- Party-Service .
