Devi in Ehrenkirchen

We were regulars at Devi's when it was still in Buggingen. We hadn't been there for a while, but the owner recognized us. We were served quickly, which used to be much slower. We had a lovely window seat, and everything was clean. The food arrived quickly, was hot and delicious. And at €11.90 including a drink and soup, it was incredibly good value. Since we'll be coming to Norsingen more often now, the friendly owner will be seeing us again soon.

Someone is making a fortune with poor product quality. They ordered butter chicken and tikka masala, and they delivered two identical dishes with different numbers on them... Meat? Gritty and dry. Naan? Tough and dry, inedible after 10 minutes. Not only was the food disappointing, it also arrived completely filthy.

The taste was good, although 7 small turkey cubes and 2 pineapple cubes were a bit meager for the price of €10.90. It feels like it gets smaller every year. The bread, which you can choose instead of rice, is very good. Another review after a very long time. The food was very good and tasty for a long time. The staff was always friendly, but the last two times it was very bland and tasteless. When we asked, we were told the chef was the same. It seemed strange to us because it happened twice within 6 weeks, and the last time, 3 cubes in one of the meat pans were simply overcooked. It was a real shame because we haven't tried it in years, and the other dish also tasted completely different than usual: 3 cubes were lightly cooked but completely dry and lacked any flair.

We had Chicken soup which was exactly same as butter chicken and Paratha. But everything was having worst taste. I am not sure they were welcoming to indian people.

A friendly welcome. The restaurant and our table were clean. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. All our dishes were freshly and authentically prepared. The portions were just right for us. The kids loved it, too. A thoroughly enjoyable evening—we'd love to come back 😋

I ordered a food and it took me more than two hours to get it delivered even though the delivery is in the city area itself. I called to restaurant and they keep telling me 'the food is ready and gone from our side, you need to ask lieferando' where on the other side, lieferando app was showing me 'Food is preparing at the restaurant'. I kept calling restaurant and guy from the restaurant wasn't even responding well.

I usually have it delivered, and occasionally I eat it in-store. Always a treat. For me, the grilled sea bream is a must almost every time. It's a relatively inexpensive restaurant. The food is very good.

I had ordered food since one hour and the delivery timings are changing again and again … in my app it shows that the order is at restaurant yet and when I called in the restaurant, one stupid employee told me that order is on the way… what nuisance!!! Close your restaurant if you are not capable to handle

We went with the gourmet catalog. Overall, it was a positive experience. We received friendly service, and the food was delicious. We paid only €22 in total for two main courses and two drinks. They even offered top-notch rice refills. The terrace is a pleasant place to sit. Completely satisfied. Thumbs up!

Very tasty Indian food of good quality. Reasonable prices and always very friendly service. You don't have to wait too long for your food. They offer delicious starters, main courses, and desserts. The ambiance inside is very cozy and clean, as are the restrooms. It's definitely worth a visit.

Hello everyone, I ate here today but I didn't like it. The service was really bad and the food wasn't tasty either. The mango lassi was very sour, which is sweet.

In the evening we spontaneously reserved a table by phone for our dinner on the way through. When we arrived everything was prepared. Very nice operation and good service. The food was also very tasty. The long opening hours and flexibility convinced us. Definitely a recommendation.

Essen: Das Essen ist sehr lecker und reichlich. Wir bestellen oft dort und gehen auch häufiger dort essen. Vor allem das Tandoori Lamm hat eine tolle Würze. Ambiente: Das Ambiente leidet von außen etwas unter der stark befahrenen Straße, an der das Restaurant liegt. Drinnen ist es familiär aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings nicht ungemütlich. Service: Manchmal leichte Verständigungsprobleme, was allerdings durch die Freundlichkeit mehr als gut gemacht wird.

This Indian restaurant on the is simply my favorite! As soon as I enter the restaurant I always feel welcome. The atmosphere is pleasant and invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious food. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. It's rare to find such good value for money in a restaurant. The service is also excellent. The staff is always friendly, attentive and happy to accommodate individual requests. Waiting times are short and the food always comes to the table hot and fresh. All in all, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant. It is the perfect place for a cozy dinner or for a spontaneous visit during the week. I keep coming back!

The Indian restaurant is very tasty and has a large selection of dishes. The butter chicken is highly recommended. Naan bread is perfect as a starter. There are also many vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately the drinks were brought incorrectly twice.

Leider hat es uns nur sehr bedingt geschmeckt. Die indische Küche kennen wir aus anderen Restaurants mit sehr vielen unterschiedlichen Gewürzen und sehr geschmackvoll. Dieses Erlebnis wollten wir hier auch erfahren, leider konnte uns das zubereitete Essen nicht überzeugen. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen. Wollen aber andere Menschen nicht davon abhalten, ihr eigene Erfahrung zu machen. Es gibt anscheinend viele denen es schmeckt.

Good food, good prices, friendly service, nice atmosphere. The location directly on the B 3 in Norsingen and the available parking spaces make a visit easy. The serving staff is friendly, but there may occasionally be a few language communication problems. The range of typical local dishes is large, and vegetarians have also been taken into consideration. Special requests are also possible under certain circumstances. The food is served quickly. It is freshly prepared and delicious. Devi is therefore always worth a visit! After a year we were there again. We had to wait a very long time before we managed to place an order. Prices have gone up, service has gotten worse and portions have gotten smaller. Therefore at least one point deducted.

The restaurant is much better from the inside than you would think from the outside. A super nice Indian family business and the food is very tasty. The ambience has been improved a lot since last year and is really nicely done. I was once again very satisfied and we would love to come back.

Delicious food, excellent service, there was no menu in English but a waitress really helped to choose the right dish and tried to explain patiently. Very reasonable prices. Recommended!

I've never had such good Indian food. My absolute recommendation!

Without much expectation, we went there for dinner for the first time a few years ago. Surprisingly, the inconspicuous Devi turned out to be one of the best Indian restaurants that I know of in Markgräflerland and Freiburg. Relatives and acquaintances who we showed the restaurant to also always enjoyed it very much. We have been there a few times and will definitely come back often. The naan is particularly noteworthy. It's juicy, aromatic and delicious, cheap and served hot with a few sauces for dipping. Hmmm! I have never had such good naan anywhere. The price-performance ratio is also very good. For example, there is a lunch menu currently priced at €11.90, which includes a starter, main course and a non-alcoholic drink of your choice. Important: The lunch menu is also offered on weekends and public holidays. The other dishes are also very inexpensive, especially in relation to how other restaurants have increased their prices.

The food was very, very tasty. We had four different dishes and different starters. The service is very nice, but just slower/unskilled (take empty glasses, forget drinks)

Nicht Authentisch Indisches Essen Für ein Indisches Essen ist Restaurant Devi in Norsingen für Kenner von Authentischen Indischen Essen leider en Großer Enttäuschung und veranlasst kein wiederbesuch. Als „Take-Away“ wurde 3 Hauptmenus bestellt: Sheek Kebab + Weißen Jalfrazi + Tikka Masala und als Beilage: Nann Brot und Basmati Reis. Den Gegrillte Sheek Kebab war Komplet trocken und sehr kompakt (fest) und fehlte jeder Art von die übliche indische gewürzte und zutaten und wurde mit ein einfachen grüner Salat geliefert ohne die übliche beilagen wie z.B. Zitrone und Mint Soße. Geschmacklich ein sehr Enttäuschende Erfahrung Leider wurde es beim „Weißen Jalfrazi“ nicht viel besser …. Die Hühnchen stucke war auch hier Komplet trocken und man hatte den Gefühl das die nicht als einzeln stücke gegrillt war aber eher als ein in Pfanne gebraten Hühner Filet der ganzen gebraten war und demnach in Stücke geschnitten wurde. Die Soße fehlte jeder Art von Curry Geschmack und hatte nicht viel mit einem Indischem Jalfrazi Gericht ähnlich aber eher en Sahne Soße mit unbestimmtem Geschmack. Leider auch hier Komplet durchgefallen als jeder Indische Note (Geschmack und scharfe) fehlte. Beim „Tikka Masala“ Gericht war die Hühnchen stücke auch sehr trocken und wir konnte den „Tikka Marinade“ leider nicht an die Hühnchen Stücke erkennen oder Schmecken. Den Masala soße har auch hier ohne den typisch Indische Geschmack und war auch hier eher ein einfache Tomatensoße. Das Nann Brot war auch nicht viel besser ….. Hatte den typische indische form aber war zu dünn ausgerollt und gebacken und war deshalb stellenweise Komplet hart und andre stellen gummiartig. Auch hier kein Genuss. Einziggen positive Erlebens war den Basmati Reis der luftig und durchgekocht war aber immer noch bissfest. Als einzigen „Lichtpunkt“ aber kein Grund nochmals beim Restaurant Davi essen zu bestellen. Leider ist den Fazit das wenn man authentischen Indischen Essen möchte lohnt sich ein Besuch beim Restaurant Davi nicht als die authentische indische gewürzte und scharfe Komplet fehlt oder nur in so geringen mange vorhanden ist das es nicht etwas mit authentischem indischem essen zu tun habe.

Sehr gutes und schmackhaftes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass die negativen Bewertungen oft von Konkurrenten oder bestellten Personen stammen, um einen schlechten Eindruck zu vermitteln.

Es ist ein kleines familiengeführtes Restaurant. Es ist im ersten Stock ( ohne Fahrstuhl) und hat im Sommer eine kleine Dachterrasse. Parkplätze sind direkt am Haus oder notfalls gegenüber beim Reve. Selbst am Sonntag gibt es Mittagstisch. Da waren wir angenehm überrascht. Preise sind total ok. Etwas verwundert waren wir über die Kleidung des Kellners. Das Hemd war sehr dreckig und ich denke es wurde schon länger nicht mehr gewechselt. Das Restaurant wird von Männern geführt. Aber manchmal hatte ich das Gefühl , dass eine weibliche Hand fehlte. Aber alles in Allem waren wir zufrieden und kommen sicher mal wieder.

Ich war heute Mittag mit einer Freundin dort. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir mussten nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Wir haben jeder die vegetarische Thali Platte gegessen. Es war sehr lecker, alles was auf der Platte war hat individuell geschmeckt, das Essen war sehr aromatisch gewürzt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Bestellung über Lieferando: Essen kam, wie angekündigt und war trotz der Entfernung noch heiß. Bestellt hatte ich einen kleinen gemischten Salat mit Koriander (sehr frisch), Papadam und Sheek Kebab aus Lammhackfleisch mit Gewürzen aufgespießt und gegrillt. Das war alles sehr lecker! Man kann auch ohne Beilagen bestellen. Ich bekam es mit Reis, was gut ist, da eine Sauce mitgeliefert wird. Zum Fleisch gibt es noch drei verschiedene Dips. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es fällt unglaublich viel Verpackungsmüll an. :-(

Wir waren gar nicht zufrieden...weder mit dem Personal noch mit dem Essen. Bedienung war sehr unwillig und unhöflich und auch nicht kompetent in unseren Augen. Die Portionen sind uns zu klein. Bestellte Getränke wurden vergessen , man wurde auch nicht freiwillig gefragt ob man noch mal was trinken möchte. Das Essen wurde lieblos serviert. Die Auswahl der Getränke ist sehr sporadisch. Lillet und Hugo kennt man nicht. Der absolute "Hammer" war zum Schluss, als unsere Servicekraft meinte wir möchten bitte aufstehen zum bezahlen und an die Theke kommen, weil sonst müsste sie alles im Kopf auseinander rechnen. (Wir waren zwei Pärchen) . Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

Essen wurde nicht geliefert !! Frau am Telefon sagt ihr egal warten sie nochmal 30 min Dann ingesamt 2 Stunden !! Es interessiert keinen !! Lieferando Fall wurde eröffnet.

Uns hat der Besuch sehr gefallen. Das Essen und der Service waren super. Wir hatten uns auch schon ein mal Essen mit genommen, was auch sehr lecker war. Es lohnt sich auch das Essen im Restaurant zu genießen, da es sehr schön eingerichtet ist.

Online Bestellung wurde vergessen. Dazu wurde eine Ausrede gesucht anstatt es zuzugeben. Also Lieferservice ist nicht zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist lecker, wenn nur der Lieferservice funktionieren würde. Wir haben nun zweimal bestellt, das erste Mal wurde die Bestellung komplett vergessen, das zweite Mal kam die Bestellung mit einer halben Stunde Verspätung, aber auch erst nachdem wir erneut angerufen haben. Schade

Haben gerade bestellt und sind super positiv überrascht! Heißes leckeres indisches Essen. Preis Leistung in Ordnung. Feiner Vorspeise mit 3 unterschiedlichen Dips. Leckeres scharfes und nicht scharfes Hauptgericht. Lieferant war freundlich. Werden aufjedenfall wieder bestellen.

Das Devi ist vom Ambiente her eines der schönsten Lokale in dieser Gegend. Das Servicepersonal bleibt auch in angespannten Situationen immer entspannt, das Essen wird wunderschön aufgetischt. Das komplette Erlebnis aus Ambiente, Servicequalität und vorzüglichem Essen wird durch überraschend Niedrigen Preisen und der dennoch fabelhaften Qualität abgerundet. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich besuche das Restaurant schon seit Jahren sehr gerne. Der Service ist immer sehr nett & aufmerksam. Diese Woche zum ersten mal den Mittagstisch ausprobiert. Es war wie immer lecker und für 9.90€ gabs ein Getränk, Salat, Naanbrot und ein Hauptgericht. Top, wir kommen wieder 😊👍
