Sunday brunch offers a good variety of dishes. There's something for everyone, and the price of $39.50 is very reasonable.

We spontaneously stopped by the beer garden, as we didn't have much choice on a Wednesday. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the pumpkin soup was truly delicious, just like Mom's. The ambiance was truly lovely and quaint, in a very quiet location. We'll see if we can stay there sometime. Thank you very much

We visit the restaurant regularly and are always very satisfied. The food is excellent, and the hotel's breakfast buffet is also highly recommended. "Some empty items at the buffet could be refilled a little faster, but overall, we are very satisfied."

Today we decided to visit the beer garden by bike. Of course, we checked the opening hours online beforehand and planned a nice, long ride. When we arrived after 3 p.m. and wanted to take a seat in the beer garden, which was about three-quarters full, a waitress told us that they were closing in half an hour and were already too busy. It's a real shame, we were really looking forward to it and were really thirsty.

Seven of us ate here at the restaurant on August 30, 2025, and we didn't like it at all. The schnitzel was more breaded than meat, there was a hair in the food, the side salad was limp, and the Cremont cheese was stale. No compensation was offered, and that's why it only gets one star. Great restaurant with outstanding service! We enjoy visiting the Linslerhof and are always very satisfied. During my pregnancy, my requests were perfectly accommodated – for example, they served sauces without alcohol. On our last visit, the food arrived just as I was breastfeeding. My plate was immediately returned to the kitchen to be warmed, and the fries were even freshly prepared – something you don't take for granted. Whether apprentices, temporary workers, or permanent employees – the entire team is warm, attentive, and competent. Many thanks to Mr. Trampert and his team! We always enjoy coming back.

We visited the restaurant yesterday and were, unfortunately, rather disappointed overall. The service was overwhelmed and inattentive – we had to wait a long time for the menus and our drinks. Sometimes the drinks were brought to the wrong tables. The food was okay, but nothing special – the taste was okay, but not commensurate with the price. The side dishes were cold, and the rump steak was unfortunately cooked medium-rare. The ambiance is actually nice and had potential, but the overall impression was significantly dampened by the service, the wait times, and the price.

In an ancient building under old trees in a laid back atmosphere I use to enjoy my dinners indulging local down to earth brillantly arranged dishes served by a loving team around Mr Trampert & ladies.

This afternoon (July 13, 2025), after a short hike, we wanted to stop off at the beer garden for a cold drink and a bite to eat. Some tables were free, others reserved, and others occupied by guests. Since there was no staff to be seen, we asked at the cashier if we could sit at a free table in the beer garden. This was refused in a very, very unfriendly manner, with the comment that there were not enough staff?! Strange!! ...other guests were already eating and drinking, and the dining room was also busy. We left the beer garden very disappointed and frustrated and will not be returning anytime soon. The way we were treated as guests was arrogant, dismissive, and anything but service-oriented. I do not recommend the beer garden.

Everything started well, but after the main course, our table wasn't cleared. Unfortunately, we weren't given any more drinks either. I would have liked dessert, an espresso, or a digestif, but unfortunately, I wasn't asked; there were enough waiters on site. Unfortunately, they were only busy serving tables of 4, 6, or 8 people. My wife and I sat at a table for two, as ordered but not picked up. For this reason, I cannot recommend the restaurant. I must say, the Agnus beef steak was perfect.

We decided to visit the Linslerhof and overall the experience was mixed. The starter, the Alsatian tarte flambée to share for three people, was really very good and pleasantly surprised us. Unfortunately the main courses couldn't quite keep up. The leaf salad with strips of turkey breast was disappointing: the salad was mushy and the taste was rather neutral, without any particular seasoning. The veal schnitzel was average at best - the breading was not crispy, the schnitzel was very thin, and the fries were reminiscent of the quality of fast food chains. The salmon with polenta and edamame was okay, but the teriyaki sauce had more of a tomato sauce flavor, which didn't quite fit. A positive highlight is the attentive service, which always looked after us well. The ambience was otherwise fine, although the unused buffet station in the middle of the room and the dried-out mini poinsettia on the table didn't seem entirely harmonious. Otherwise it was clean and adequate. Despite the friendly service and the good appetizer, I probably won't come back

We enjoyed an excellent Christmas dinner at the Linslerhof. The setting was bucolic and the buffet offered a wide selection. The outdoor setting is a major asset to the establishment.

The restaurant is very cute and romantic. There are shady trees in the beer garden and you would be happy to have found a nice restaurant. However, when it comes to food, things go wrong. Firstly, the prices are massive and rather high. Unfortunately, when you see what's on your plate, the prices don't match your expectations. We ordered fresh leaf lettuce and got sweet romaine. In response I was told that it was chopped leaf lettuce. ... I complained, had the plate returned and got my money back without any problem. However, they continued playing the game with all the other guests. Conclusion: no love on the plate, no expertise in the kitchen and far too expensive. My salad with fried egg and some potatoes would have cost around 18 euros. You feel ripped off.

Was there last night and was thinking about it because I had read some reviews! The last visit was a few years ago and I was satisfied. Well, let me surprise you... As we entered the restaurant, a waiter came up to us and asked about the reservation and led us to the table right by the fireplace We were still taking off our jackets when he wanted to know what we would like to drink... well, he could have given us a little time, regardless I sat with my back to the fireplace, initially pleasant because it was cold outside, then it got really warm, lol But we are flexible and swapped places...the waiter noticed this and asked if he should reduce the fire...everything was fine Service was fine, apart from a small faux pas The food was also good, including the presentation We sat comfortably by the fire and had a good time All in all...a lovely evening

Traumhafter Ort mit guter Küche, leider regelmäßig Abzüge beim Service. Der Service ist nicht nah genug am Kunden, es wird nicht regelmäßig nach Getränken gefragt und auch bei wenig Betrieb wartet man auf Nachschub, wenn die Bestellung mal geglückt ist.

Es war in der Grillhütte toll. Es würde Sinn machen auch kleinere Scheite parat zu haben. Das Essen war lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Vielleicht sollte das Fleisch mariniert sein. Die Atmosphäre war urig finnisch. Der Service war angenehm unaufdringlich. Als kleiner Tipp: würde empfehlen die Abstellmöglichkeiten etwas zu verbreitern. Ansonsten hat allen mega gefallen.

Fantastisches Essen und sehr zuvorkommender Service: Wir hatten zunächst das Vier-Gänge-Menü mit Weinbegleitung, das uns so gut geschmeckt hat, dass wir am nächsten Tag gleich noch einmal à la carte dort essen waren. Die Qualität der verwendeten Lebensmittel ist herausragend und die Zusammenstellung der Gerichte absolut gelungen. Auch klassische Gerichte werden so zu etwas Besonderem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns bei der Essens- und Weinauswahl sehr gut beraten. Auch hat uns gefallen, dass viele Lebensmittel und Getränke aus der Region kommen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und haben hoffentlich bald wieder die Gelegenheit, uns hier verwöhnen zu lassen.

Das Ambiente war angenehm. Die Kartoffelsuppe war sehr gut. Das Steak für 35 Euro war durchgebraten und hat nicht geschmeckt. Die Käseplatte war aus dem Supermarkt oder dem Discounter.

Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut, ein paar Abzüge in der B-Note. Steak als Medium bestellt, leider total drüber. Aber wie gesagt die Qualität hat das ganze Weg gemacht.

Es gibt einen sehr schönen Biergarten der auch auch als Zwischenstopp bei Radtouren zu empfehlen ist!

Waren heute zum ADAC Oldtimer treffen dort. Die Organisation der Getränkestände, was wohl über die dortige Gastronomie verantwortlich verlief war das Letzte. Das Personal war überfordert, keine ausreichende Getränke mehr am Bierstand und total unorganisiert. Sorry, sowas darf bei einem solchen Event nicht passieren. Da ist jede Dorfkirmes besser organisiert. Nachtrag 18.09.21: Mal wieder versucht, aber leider genau so. Der Biergarten unaufgeräumt, Aschenbecher überfüllt, Tische nicht abgeräumt. Noch nicht einmal ein Stück Kuchen Sonntag Mittag, alternativ wollte man uns ein Dessert bringen.

Wunderbarer Biergarten und Gastraum! Essen ist auch wirklich lecker, Beilagen könnten etwas üppiger sein. Leider war der Service heute unterbesetzt und dem entsprechend auch überfordert. Trotzdem gute vier Sterne und kein Grund nicht gerne wieder zu kommen!

Eigentlich mag ich den Linslerhof und auch das Restaurant bzw im Sommer den Biergarten. Bei unserem letzten Besuch war allerdings das Essen wirklich sehr schlecht und zwar ausnahhmslos alle Gerichte. Die Kartoffelsuppe fad und schmeckte nach nix, die Pasta mit Scampis fad und Scampis standen eher wegen Seltenheit und Artenschutz und auch die beiden anderen Gerichte eher auf einem Niveau dass man für die Hälfte des Preises erwarten würde. Sehr Schade, da wir die Location für eine grössere Familienfeier buchen wollten und das nun eher nicht stattfinden wird.

Wie schon in der Hotelrezension geschrieben, sehr schöne weitläufige Anlage. Der schlechte Service in Restaurant und Biergarten trübt jedoch den Gesamteindruck. Speise- und Getränkekarte im Restaurant könnte für mein Empfinden umfangreicher sein. Preise auf hohem Niveau. Wir hatten uns mehr erhofft. Schade.

Das Buffet war gut, die Auswahl ausreichend, die Preise sind angemessen. Jedoch lässt der Service zu wünschen übrig. Unfreundliches und unqualifiziertes Personal, lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke, kein Respekt vor dem Kunden, man könnte auch sagen, unverschämtes Verhalten diesem gegenüber. Unter diesen Umständen nicht empfehlenswert!
