A very nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Attentive service and the food is excellent.

I had a chicken platter with fries and gyros, as well as souvlaki, bifteki, and lamb chops. Everything was delicious and tasty. However, there is one criticism: all dishes seem to come with a salad, which you can skip for the following reason: It really wasn't special and not worth the money. It would be better to serve a really good salad for an extra charge, and if you want it, then for an extra charge, but also good quality. As it is, it's just served with the food and most of it will probably end up in the trash. It's better to have a good salad, if you want it for an extra charge.

Good food with good service, slightly more expensive than average. Short wait from arrival to meal. Special requests were also fulfilled. All in all, a successful evening. It's best to reserve a table!

Every employee has a smile on their face, caters to every request, and you immediately notice: Here, the guest is still king. You don't just feel like a customer, but like a friend of the house. And then the food: Simply fantastic! Every plate is a feast for the eyes and palate. The dishes are fresh, perfectly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. Whether it's classic gyro, tender lamb fillet, juicy souvlaki skewers, or the delicious appetizer platters – every detail is just right. Everything is of the highest quality, cooked with love, and beautifully presented. The homemade sauces and side dishes, in particular, are a treat you won't soon forget. The portions are also generous, so everyone is guaranteed to go home full and happy. And just when you think it couldn't get any better, dessert arrives: fresh yogurt with honey and walnuts or a heavenly baklava that perfectly rounds off the evening. Value for money? Absolutely fair! For the quality, quantity, and fantastic service, you really get more than you expect. In short: The Greek restaurant in the Kuckeshof in Duisburg isn't just a restaurant—it's a place to enjoy, feel good, and be happy. For me personally, it's number 1 when it comes to Greek cuisine. The food is excellent, very tasty and plentiful. We'd love to come back. The staff are super friendly and quick. We reserved a table for four people this morning via WhatsApp at short notice. No problem. Despite the restaurant being full that evening, the wait was short, and the food and drinks were top-notch. Thanks to the entire team.

Very friendly, attentive reception and service. The wait was acceptable; we were offered a few (dry) baguette slices without any herb butter or anything similar. The salad could have been fresher, and the dressing (cocktail dressing) tasted like it came from a bottle. The sea bream was very undercooked, to say the least. The meat, however, was very good, and we also got a free ouzo and a small plate of Greek halva. The Gigantes beans in tomato sauce with cheese baked on top were also delicious. Overall, average value for money.

The food is simply amazing, incredibly delicious, and the portions are more than adequate. The meat variations are simply perfect. An absolute highlight is the Mythos, a Greek lager, even on tap here, a truly unique selling point in the area. The staff is simply super friendly and very accommodating, which is a very important reason for the great atmosphere for me and my family. The front area of the restaurant has classic seating with a Greek flair, and the beer garden has a very Mediterranean feel; it can even be used in bad weather thanks to a retractable roof. In conclusion, even though I might have trouble reserving a table because of this, I have to say: A very good restaurant that I can recommend without reservation.

The food was cold when it arrived and the waitresses seemed very stressed. The feedback from the cold food was ignored and a tip was still insisted on. Hair was found in the food, and it was very crowded and very loud.

We recommend! From the extremely friendly welcome to the perfect service to the incredibly good food! The portions were generous, the tzatziki was very tasty and there was a starter salad with every dish, an ouzo on the house after the meal and a sweet snack. The Greek Mythos beer was really good and my Radler was mixed perfectly. We parked right in front of the house and sat in the winter garden. Very pleasant atmosphere!

Unfortunately in the new year 2024 it will no longer be as true. The preparation and quality of the food has deteriorated. In 2023 the food was better. Apart from the now increased price €€€... Salad boring, unseasoned and way too cold. Bifteki prepared carelessly with very little cheese. Prepared similarly to a hamburger patty. The price for this dish is way too high. Unfortunately it wasn't a bifteki like I'm used to in beautiful Greece. No longer satisfied. Too bad... I'm disappointed. This has to get better again.

The Greek in the Kuckeshof is currently a great restaurant. I don't know what it was like a few years ago, but I recently had dinner there with my wife and what we were offered was wonderful, delicious and absolutely friendly. The drinks came quickly and nicely chilled, the menus were handed to us as soon as we had just sat down and from the appetizer, which we had in the form of a crisp and fresh salad with a tasty dressing, to the main course, gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce and crispy French fries, to From the ice-cold nightcap Uzo and the Uzo sweets to the bill, it was a poem. The staff was extremely friendly and warm. Price/performance was also right and the taste of all the ingredients used was evidence of quality. My taste buds and I are already looking forward to our next visit to this location. The ambience is not exactly unusual or particularly chic, but it is a successful combination of kitschy and rustic. We definitely liked and enjoyed it.

Wir gehen dort regelmäßig essen. Das die Preise immer wieder anziehen ist nicht schön, aber leider überall (nötig). Der Chef ist super nett und der Service ok. Heute haben wir, nach langer Zeit mal wieder bestellt und abgeholt, leider war es eine mittelschwere Katastrophe. Die Pommes total matschig, 2 min mehr hätte hier echt geholfen. Das Gyros war steinhart, das Bifteki maximal befriedigend. Das überbackene Gyros war völlig am Thema vorbei. Die Beschreibung "etwas Fleisch, belegt mit geschmolzenem Käse" wäre hier treffender gewesen. Noch dazu schwamm das ganze in Öl/Fett. Allgemein war die Menge der "Matschpommes" nichts zum satt werden. Die Beilagensalate sind im Dressing ertrunken. 3 (nicht gute) Gerichte und 1x Tzaziki für über 60€.... Da geh ich nächstes mal in die griechische Pommesbude.

Sehr leckeres Essen, alles frisch zubereitet und Extrawünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Auf der Speisekarte sind alle klassischen griechischen Gerichte zu finden, die Auswahl ist groß.

Service overwhelmed with 4 full tables. We waited 2 hours for our food and ate it long before the glasses were empty. “Fried potatoes” from the deep fryer!!! 🤔 Meat was partly okay. Not worth a second visit.

My partner and I ate here for the first time today and I'm sure we didn't regret it. The ambience and furnishings are a little special, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste and it didn't bother us at all that evening. As a starter there were meatballs and mushrooms, which we were also served with bread. We enjoyed both. For the main course I had a grill plate and a Barbie plate, both of which were prepared to perfection (meat still nice and pink and not dry at all). In terms of quantity, it was quite enough and we were full. There was also a small salad, which was saved a little with cucumber (but that wasn't a bad thing). The selection of dessert alone was a bit poor, but that didn't detract from the evening. As a nightcap I had an espresso, which really tasted excellent 👌 The service was also excellent and we received nice and friendly service from start to finish. We will definitely visit the restaurant again 👌 Thanks to the entire team for the nice evening.

Essen Bedienung Freundlichkeit und Ambiente einsA.

Gaststätte war sehr voll und es war laut im Speisesaal. Bedienung war gestresst und nicht besonders freundlich, war anscheinend überfordert. Aufnahme der Bestellung der Getränke dauerte auch ziemlich lange . Ich war mit einer Gruppe von 14 Personen da. Speisekarten bekamen wir nach ca. 30 Minuten. Ein Nachbartisch an dem 8 Personen saßen, die einige Zeit nach uns kamen, hatten vorher die Speisekarten. Auf unserer Nachfragen gab es als Antwort es gäbe nicht genügend Karten für alle. Natürlich hatte der Nachbartisch auch vor uns das Essen. Der Beilagensalat der dann nach langer Wartezeit kam war ziemlich lieblos auf den Teller gelegt und mit Sauce übergossen. Geschmeckt hat er aber. Die Hauptgerichte waren aber von allen in sehr guter Qualität und die Portionen waren auch gut. Alles in allem Service ausbaufähig, Qualität ders Essen auf jeden Fall gut bis sehr gut. Vielleicht hätte das Personal außer der Küche auch nicht den besten Tag. Uso aufs Haus gab es aber auch nach dem Essen und die Rechnung war auch in Ordnung

Leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung

Heute haben wir total lecker gegessen. Wir waren zu Zweit und die Teller voll. 2 Getränke waren auch dabei. Gemütlich, freundlich, sauber und sehr gutes Fleisch! Empfehle ich guten Gewissens weiter. Preise sind überschaubar und angemessen bis preiswert für das gute Essen.

Das Essen ist super. Schon lange nicht mehr so gutes Gyros gegessen. Haben etwas lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Wurden dann aber mit einem leckeren Nachttisch wieder versöhnt. Saßen im Wintergarten,dort wurde leider zuviel geraucht, was ich etwas störend fand. Werden aber bestimmt wieder kommen

Warum mit 10 Leuten zum Kegeln. Beide Kegelbahnen im Keller eine reine Katastrophe! Es riecht nach feuchtem Keller und Toilette (Diese ist nur paar Meter entfernt). Die Kugeln haben zum Teil Löcher und Beulen. Nach Kreide zum Anschreiben mussten wir fragen. Service konnte nur gebrochen deutsch und hat oft einzelene Getränke vergessen oder auch mal eine ganze Runde... Essen war ok aber kein Highlight. Jemand hat Gyros bestellt was allerdings sehr viele kleine Krümmel war und Knorbel enthalten hat. Obwohl wir alle gegessen und ordentlich getrunken haben bestand der Besitzer auf die 32 Euro für diese ranz Kegelbahn. Fazit: Einmal und nie wieder!!!

Ein schönes Restaurant wo mann das Essen heisst serviert bekommt . Der Service ist freundlich und schnell .Am Wochenende würde ich lieber einen Tisch reservieren ansonsten lange Wartezeit.

Ich war mit meinem Sohn dort essen. Wir würde freundlich begrüßt und bekamen auch sofort einen Sitzplatz und die Karte. Getränke würden auch zügig aufgenommen und gelieferty während wir uns über die Karte hermachten. Zu den Karte, ich persönlich finde sie etwas überladen und das sie ein laminiertes DIN A3 Blatt ist finde ich eher nicht so gut. Da wünscht man sich lieber ne drei/vier Seiten Karte in DIN A 4, schön in Leder gebunden. Wir saßen an den Abend draußen und dort haben und jede Menge Fruchtfliegen im Bier schon stark gestört. Die Frage wäre hier, wo kommen die her und wir AS kann man dagegen tun. Zuhause im Garten würde ich nen Bierdeckel aufs Glas legen und gut ist, aber im Restaurant? Zu den Speisen. Mein Sohn hat sich eine Tomatensuppe und ich gebratene Peperoni bestellt. Beides hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Als Hauptgang gab es für den kleinen nen Schnitzel "Wiener Art" und für mich ein Rumpsteak. Das Schnitzel dann optisch gut aus und Schnecke auch. Von dem Steak war ich jedoch etwas enttäuscht. Per se gehe ich davon aus, dass ich mein Steak medium an den Tisch bekomm, sofern man nichts sagt. Hier sollte man den Kellner jedoch drauf aufmerksam machen, denn das Fleisch war durchgebraten und zäh, entsprechend kam mein Fleischgenuss nicht auf seine Kosten. Einzig die Sauce konnte dann bei dem Gericht noch etwas rausreißen, wobei es sich meiner Meinung und Geschmack nach, nicht um eine aufgesetzte Sauce handelte, sondern eher ein Fertigprodukt, nichts desto trotz war sie ok. Eine Nachbestellung der Getränke ist dem Kellner dann auch noch untergegangen, obwohl gerade Mal an fünf Tischen gegessen wurde. Da war der junge Kerl wohl mit dem Kopf wo anders. Zur Verabschiedung gab es dann noch einen Ouzo, das setze ich aber einfach Mal in einem griechischen Restaurant vorraus. Unterm Strich war das Essen schon ok, jedoch werde ich bei meinem nächsten Steak wohl sagen müssen, was man erwartet, wenn man beim Bestellen nichts sagt. Da es so nah liegt werden wir trotzdem wieder kommen.

Ich war insgesamt 3 x dort Essen. Es hat mir nicht besonders geschmeckt. Salat geht gar nicht. Fast nzr Eisbergsalat, kaum gewürzt, kaum Dressing. Ich war mit einer größeren Gruppe dort, auch anderen hat es nicht besonders geschmeckt. Bezahlen in der Schlange an der Theke...

Leider mein schlechtester Restaurantbesuch! Ambiente original noch aus den 70igern ( aber wer es mag) Service war von seiner Tätigkeit nicht "berufen "! Meine 2 Vorspeisen geschmacklos bis ungenießbar (für mich) und absolut lieblos auf den Teller angerichtet! Habe ich zurück gehen lassen! Es kam auch keine Nachfrage!

Wir haben dort heute spontan einen Tisch reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
