Very delicious Georgian cuisine – the Shkmeruli chicken was a hit, as was the Lobiani with bean paste. We've vacationed in Georgia several times, and the food at this restaurant is authentic and delicious – the best cuisine in the Caucasus – go there and enjoy.

Corrected review: Since I received a letter from the restaurant's lawyer via Google, I'm correcting my review from last fall from 2 to 1 star! The appetizer was very tasty. Unfortunately, the rest wasn't... There were 7 of us and we all had different main courses. It was a team event evening. But only one of them was tasty. The mushroom soup - like almost everything else - tasted almost exclusively of coriander and not at all of mushrooms. I tried it myself! The ratatouille was very fatty. I could tell by the fat oozing from it, and my colleague didn't like it either. The chicken dish - which I ordered myself - had bones. It wasn't marked as such on the menu. The meat, however, was tender. Not suitable for people with nut allergies, as all dishes contain nuts. The drinks were empty three times, and the waitress didn't come back until 10 minutes later to ask for another round. Addition: The waitress was very nice. Unfortunately, she spilled a drink on me. I asked her to buy us a small round. She did! What a shame! I'd heard so many good things about it.

Tye location is quite nice, the service too, but the quality of the food is just not up to the price you pay for it. We ordered a menu for three.. You indeed have the variety (lots of different small portions of everything) but they all tasted the same and nothing really exceptionally tasty. The dessert was non existent and the wines from the wine menu are overpriced (85€ for an ok-ish wine.. Is way too much) There is just a big gap from what you pay and what you get. I will not return to this place.

I really like the restaurant, but I was a bit disappointed to see that some of the menu options we were looking forward to are no longer available. I remember ordering a delicious grill plate two years ago, but it seems that grilled items are no longer offered, which is a bit sad.

The appetizer for two is not worth 25 euros. The bread for the appetizer and one of the dishes came much later than the first two dishes. So one of us was waiting for their food for several minutes. Also, the Georgian lemonade is not really lemonade rather a fizzy flavored drink, which is extremely sweet. The kababi is a mix of meat and didn't really taste or feel like kabab, meaning grilled meat, as such. It wasn't also very well cooked. The ambiance is wonderful both indoors and the terrace. Overall it was okay, but the whole delay in bringing on of the plates made our experience less than pleasant. Will I go back next time ? No I won't.

My wife and I had reserved a table outside for our wedding anniversary. We arrived – surprise: the table had been accidentally given to someone else. But no problem, you can sit here under this tree at this makeshift, dusty, completely crooked table by the side of the road... We complained, of course, but the very phlegmatic employee wasn't impressed – he was like, "I don't care, you accept our offer or goodbye." No problem, 30 minutes later we're sitting at the competitor's across the street, enjoying a delicious meal and drink. That's how you do good business as a restaurant – bravo, blue fox!

They serve very good Chakaphuli, eggplant with walnuts and phelamushi ☺️

I wouldn't recommend khinkali. Too expensive for 4 pieces that aren't prepared properly. Songs. But the Tabaka hand was delicious 😋

A very nice and highly recommended Georgian restaurant. Some of the waiters were Georgian, but also those who weren't Georgian, were knowledgeable about Georgian dishes and understood Georgian. The service is truly top-notch. The food is very authentic and tasted very good. There's also a nice Georgian wine list. I highly recommend the Georgian mineral water, which isn't something you'd expect from other Georgian restaurants. The only thing I've noticed is that the ambiance was nicer in other Georgian restaurants, but that didn't detract from the evening. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant, try different dishes, definitely enjoy Georgian wine, and try the mineral water (Borjomi). We'll be happy to come back.

The best Georgian restaurant in Berlin. Super delicious food – we shared a mix of appetizers and main courses. Extremely friendly service with genuine attention and dedication to the guests, and the atmosphere (outdoors/summer) is wonderful. Great light, a view of Kollwitzplatz – I've been there twice in the last quarter, and I'll be back!

The food it is good. I give them 2 starts because the main course portions are ridiculously small for the costs. But okay, the zone is expensive. What it really bothered me was that when paying they didn’t give me any change back because they assumed I’ll pay a whopping 15% tip.

No, something has changed. It used to be much better (three years ago). We were disappointed. The menus are not recommended and too expensive (€85 for two plus drinks). Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time, and no one ever really asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything. The food was okay, but nothing special. Luckily, we got a seat outside; it was loud and hot inside.

Cozy restaurant we ran past. We had to squeeze into a space away as everything was booked. We stopped for two drinks, cuba libre and their own lemonade. We had meat dumplings which were very different but very tasty. Nice atmosphere with very nice and well thought out decor. Good area, perfect for a date or small group.

We had a menu for two, which is absolutely worth the price/performance ratio if you come hungry. The food was okay, especially the starters were tasty, but it was definitely not worth having to wait over an hour between starter and main course.

Had been wanting to try this place for a bit, since it always seemed like a great atmosphere whenever I walked by, and the food looked new and tasty. I finally had the chance, and it did not disappoint! We were 3 people (and a dog), and ordered a starter and 2 main dishes, and it was a lot! Great size dishes, super filling and super tasty. Even the dog got a couple bites. The 3 dishes were completely different flavours and super interesting too. The waiters were apologetic and lovely about the wait, but honestly the place was completely full and we really didn't feel like we were waiting for all that long, plus it was a great atmosphere. In conclusion, lovely place, great food that we had never tried before, and super friendly and attentive service as the cherry on top!

A very good recommendation that we followed and have absolutely no regrets. Very fine dishes. Interesting flavor composition for our palate. Great advice and very friendly, dynamic service. The ambience, very nice, lots of people and yet every table looks like a small island. The location is also not far from the bus station. Thanks!

The restaurant is definitely recommended. We were here with two families with children and the food was exceptional and everyone enjoyed it. It was our first time eating Georgian food and the waitress Nata gave us expert advice. The service was great.

On the recommendation of five people, we visited the Georgian restaurant. We were excited to see how authentic and high quality the food would be - and we were not disappointed. The selection of starters is also great for vegans: from grilled eggplants with walnut paste to various variations of pkhali. The main courses, including juicy khinkali and aromatic ojakhuri, impressed with their authentic flavors and perfect preparation. Finally, we enjoyed traditional desserts like pelamushi.  Particularly noteworthy was the Georgian wine, which went perfectly with the food and exceeded our expectations. The Georgian tarragon lemonade was a refreshing accompaniment and rounded off the taste experience. The restaurant's ambience is stylish and cozy, with thoughtful details that reflect Georgian culture. The service was attentive and friendly, always trying to introduce us to the special features of Georgian cuisine. With a bill of over €200 for five people, we felt the price-performance ratio was reasonable, especially given the quality and authenticity of the food. We liked Adjarian khachapuri, Georgian salad with walnuts, "Blue Fox" khachapuri, everything was very tasty.

Pretty loud. Very cold at first. The prose on the menu can be given as a gift. The dish itself was quite tasty.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed, let's start with the food: The food was a bit blandly seasoned and everything had a very INTERESTING taste. Service: The service was nice and served us well, but unfortunately the waitress didn't speak German very well. Ambience: It was relatively comfortable in the restaurant but we had to wait 45 minutes for a few small dishes that ended up being cold anyway and there was loud, stressful music playing in the background.

We had made a reservation for 8 p.m., but the table wasn't free. We came back after 20 minutes and the table still wasn't free - we had to change tables in between. It wasn't great, but it was good. But what really led to a deduction was the fact that the tables in the restaurant were placed extremely close together, making it suboptimal for personal conversations. This also caused an incredible level of noise - entertainment was sometimes very difficult... BUT - the food was really great and the (open) Georgian white wine really surprised me in a positive way!! Price/performance is absolutely right. All in all a very nice restaurant with really good food!! But also very loud.

Curious about Greek cuisine, we looked forward to the meal. The service friendly. However, it took more than half an hour until we had our food. And then unfortunately it was disappointing. The champions from the can, over-baked and tasteless. The ratatouille was lukewarm, the added coriander tasted too strong. Too bad! Very narrow and uncomfortable seating in the restaurant itself. It's so loud that conversation is hardly possible. So no revelation for me.

Originally a nice and cozy restaurant, but in terms of service and quality it has really deteriorated in recent years. The service has become really bad - especially with the two unmotivated guys from management. Sorry, but I'll definitely go to the competition in the future, with better food, more motivated waiters, and where my girlfriend and I feel better.

Negative recommendation for the restaurant: The waiter's service was amazing - when I dropped the wine glass, he immediately brought me a new one. But, and that's a big but! I came to eat and here I was very disappointed: The food looked delicious, but apart from the khinkali and the eggplants, everything else was really not tasty. There was SAND in the salad! And the dessert was a real insult to the guests' intelligence: a not-quite-fresh apple is simply shoved into the oven, filled with a single nut and topped with a little vanilla cream. They call it “apple stuffed with nuts” – in reality it is a nut, the apple is not really fresh, and they charge 8.5 euros for this questionable treat! In addition, the meat dish with potatoes and eggplant was disappointing: the potatoes were not fresh - they had obviously been cooked beforehand and then simply added to the dish. Overall the dish wasn't hot, the meat was a bit tough and not tender. In addition: Real Georgian Khinkali should not be fried! My partner, a Caucasian and a big fan of Georgian cuisine, was here a few years ago and said that the place has changed for the worse - a real shame! I will definitely not return to this restaurant.

Really good Georgian restaurant. The menu offers a good selection of dishes and great wines. The service is really very good. The ambience is well thought out, stylish and very inviting. The food itself was tasty, but in some cases we were still missing that certain something for it to be 5 stars. But in general you can recommend the restaurant.

Rarely seen such bad staff. No questions about food, no questions about whether we need anything. The food itself was semi-okay, but lacked spices; it tasted like ready-made food. But the worst part was the smell: there was a strong smell of alcohol, and it was so loud that you couldn't hear the person you were with. Also, the chairs are so uncomfortable that you felt pain after 10 minutes. I don't understand the hype surrounding the store.

It is legitimate to say, that the very best place to eat Georgian food and drink Georgian wine in Berlin, is Der Blaue Fuchs.

A great culinary experience! The food is not a culinary extravagance or Michelin cuisine, but it is very good for good and somewhat upscale cuisine! The wine list is something very special and hand-selected by the wine merchant directly in Georgia. Really well chosen. When it comes to advice on wines and food, different tastes are also taken into account and recommendations are made accordingly. There are 4 stars for atmosphere because the store is a bit cramped for my taste (we sat inside). However, it also fits wonderfully with the somewhat rustic and homely style. A matter of taste.

We recently visited the blue fox again after some time. This time we particularly enjoyed the Phkali starter with beetroot, the Khachapuri Atscharuli and the Khinkali with cheese, but the meat dishes were also very good. We had two young waiters that evening who were really very friendly. We really enjoyed it again!

Food very tasty and varied. Unfortunately we always had to wait a while for service. And it was cold in the dining room.

Essen war sehr lecker, auch der Wein war gut. Leider ist es sehr ungemütlich, ständig sitzt man in egal welcher Ecke im Durchzug, es ist sehr kühl und man sitzt wirklich Mann an Maus, sodass Unterhaltungen sehr anstrengend werden, da man sich kaum versteht. Auch die Deko lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Dafür ist das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

We ordered the Nico’s Acharuli (baked boat-shaped pastry filled with cheese, bell peppers, onions, garlic, bacon, an egg, and butter) and the Shkmeruli Ketse (oven-grilled marinated boneless chicken thigh in a garlic milk sauce, served with grilled vegetables), and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent. We would definitely come back!

The food was delicious, the ambience, alternatively creative, but it was cold. We had to put in our winter coats so that we could even find it durable. To make matters worse, the window had to be cleaned, so it got even colder in the restaurant. The tables are individually designed with a beautiful tablecloth but are simply far too narrow for the next table. The restaurant was full and it was very difficult to understand the people on the other side of the table. After the reservation time had expired, we were kindly asked to leave. 3 hours would be enough. There are better Georgian restaurants.

If you want to try real Georgian cuisine, then you've come to the right place. The food here is authentic and delicious - just like in Georgia. There are real Georgians in the kitchen at #BlauerFuchs. No fake like around the corner. We'll be back!

The restaurant is run by Georgians and the food tastes just like in Georgia. We ordered the Supra for two people, it was enough for three and it was reasonably priced. We love coming here!

A small, inconspicuous Georgian restaurant that has a lot to offer. We were there in a group, everyone was very satisfied, the food tasted excellent, there is a large selection of delicious dishes and drinks, you like to try everything. The cuisine is delicious and unusual. Unfortunately, our service staff was so sick that she should have gone to bed. I assume that's why she was inattentive, clumsy and not particularly warm. In the end we were so annoyed by it that we decided not to come back.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Blauen Fuchs und waren neugierig auf die georgische Speisen und Weine. Erster Eindruck: das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt und gesteckt voll mit größeren Gruppen junger Menschen, dadurch gibt es eine beeindruckende Lärmkulisse, die eine ruhige Unterhaltung etwas mühsam macht. Die Speisen und Weine wussten durchaus zu überzeugen, Preise empfanden wir als angemessen und der Service war flott.

The service is exceptionally good, as the dishes are translated and explained and the characteristics of the wines are presented. Georgian cuisine offers many Russian influences (dumplings, stews), all kinds of meat, beetroot and bread. We recommend the appetizer platter for two so that you can get to know four variations at once. Some of the dishes are hearty, tasty and definitely fill you up, especially if you choose a starter and main course. Stylish Belinerian ambience that resembles a large living room and offers coziness.

We celebrated a birthday here today and it was a very nice evening. I was even allowed to bring my own cake. Our waiter was very attentive, the food was very good and the wine was simply great. However, it is very, very loud and narrow, which you should take into account when making a reservation with groups. It didn't bother us though, because we're a loud group ;-)

Rude, unfriendly, impolite. Me and my husband were here a few days ago. The food was delicious, the wine was delicious, just as it should be in a Georgian restaurant. We came in with friendliness and good humor, but we left irritated. The staff was rude to us BUT for no reason. At the beginning we found the hair in food, informed the waitress, then again a 1-cm piece of plastic or something in Georgian cake with egg, then our chacha was somehow strangely shared between us, even though we didn't order separately, but a bottle, and what's more, we didn't get any glasses, but rather metal bar measuring beakers🤨 the waitress didn't want to speak German to us, only English, which I don't find logical. In an hour she said that we HAD TO LEAVE without informing beforehand, cleaned up our food that we paid for and didn't say another word. She also didn't answer our other questions. What is all this about??? Definitely not going to Der Blaue Fuchs again 👎👎👎👎

Sjældent har vi mødt så imødekommende, opmærksom og venlig betjening som her. Vi fik smagsprøve på vinen inden bestilling, fortælling om georgisk madkultur og meget mere. Mad og vin var super.

Great restaurant, great food, fantastic wines and very friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay.

We started with high hopes, but left feeling disappointed after waiting 90+ minutes between our starter dish being served and receiving our main. The main dish only arrived after inquiring about it after a server, and this was done only after seeing tables which were seated after us pay their bills and leave before we had been served our main dish. When we did get our main, it was just above tepid. The whole experience was so lackluster at that point, we requested the dessert to go. The wine selection was very nice, as was the decor of the restaurant, but I regret choosing this restaurant, as well as committing to their ‘supra’ menu, over the many other options in the neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere, but I'm deducting two points - the stews that came to our table were not hot anymore so as we were sharing the dishes they became cold faster than the rest. Also it'd be nice to have the option to order fresh khinkalis in the reservation form so guests can know in advance that they need to order them.

Cozy place, where it's nice to sit outside and slowly enjoy your food, but if you are looking for proper Georgian cuisine experience I wouldn't recommend you to go here. Don't get me wrong, the food here is good and taste awesome, but for those who are aware about Georgian cuisine I can't digest the fact that they don't serve steamed khinkali - only fried ones. Der Blaue Fuchs is a hidden gem in Berlin! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the cozy, artistic atmosphere and warm hospitality. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that are both creative and delicious. Everything I ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The attention to detail in both the food and service really sets this place apart. Whether you’re looking for a memorable meal or just a great spot to relax with friends, Der Blaue Fuchs is an absolute must-visit!

Loved it here (better than the other Georgian around the corner). Had the starter platter and Nico's atscharuli (very filling). Would have liked to try a Supra but weren't hungry enough.

We were there on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was typically lively. However, you quickly get used to it. The wait staff was really friendly and I didn't have the feeling that the waiting time was affected by the number of visitors. The food, especially the Badrijani, was authentically Georgian and very tasty. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio was also good. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

First of all the stuff that was waiting for us, I guess manager of the restaurant wasn't polite at all and behaved like she is above all of us for some unnecessary reason. The guys who served the food were nice on another hand. Food was average for the price of excellency. We had dumplings from which 1 of 4 was cold when the rest were freshly made. Chicken dish (do not remember the name) was made with cooking creme that was uncooked. The last dish we had was just a simple dough with a lot of cheese as expected. Overall to expensive for what we got. Wine was great :)

I didn't find the food very innovative for the price. You can eat better Georgian food in Berlin. Service stopped asking for more drinks. It's a shame we could have made more sales.

The food was delicious but the waiter messed up the wine we ordered. Although we asked twice for a Saperavi for 30 euros, we finally got a bill for the wine which costs 50 euros.

Pretty decent Georgian food and good service

Eating is a matter of taste, sometimes lukewarm, the salmon was translucent. Unfortunately not our case.

The food was good, but not particularly authentic for us. Whether you like the khinkhali fried or cooked in the classic way is certainly a matter of taste (cooked is only offered upon advance order), but the adjika completely lacked the typical taste of the common spices. These are just examples. You can also enjoy great hospitality in Georgia and other Georgian restaurants. Unfortunately, we experienced this differently in this restaurant. We didn't feel welcome and had to ask to be allowed to order, reorder and pay even though there wasn't much going on. Politeness yes, friendliness no.

It wasn't explained to us why we should sit directly at the front door even though there were other free tables inside. Their excuse: The tables are reserved. But they were still available when we finished eating. Service was a bit unfriendly.
