Ich bin Georgierin und wir waren im Der Blaue Fuchs, um den Geburtstag meiner Freundin zu feiern. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch – ehrlich gesagt, fast genauso gut, wenn nicht sogar besser, als bei uns zu Hause in Georgien! Der Service war sogar noch besser. Tazo und Adam haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und uns einen erstklassigen Service geboten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Lecker, stilvoll, angenehm. Wir bestellten Chikhirtma, Ljulya und gebratene Chinkali. Alles war köstlich und frisch.

Unglaublich unhöflicher Service und eine extrem stressige Atmosphäre können Ihren Abend ruinieren.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber der Service war mit Abstand das Schlechteste, was wir seit Langem erlebt haben. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage wurden uns nicht einmal ausreichend Weingläser gebracht. Organisation und Aufmerksamkeit waren praktisch nicht vorhanden. Dass dem Geburtstagskind nicht einmal gratuliert wurde, rundete den enttäuschenden Eindruck zusätzlich ab. Der absolute Tiefpunkt war jedoch das Bezahlen. Die Servicekraft war dabei extrem unfreundlich, respektlos und unverschämt. Wir wurden regelrecht dazu gedrängt, Trinkgeld zu geben, obwohl wir von uns aus ohnehin welches geben wollten. Ein derart aufdringliches und unangemessenes Verhalten haben wir noch nie erlebt. Nach dieser Aktion hatte niemand aus unserer Gruppe mehr das Gefühl, freiwillig Trinkgeld geben zu wollen. So geht man mit Gästen nicht um. Der Service hat den gesamten Abend ruiniert. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung können wir das Restaurant auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe das Restaurant letzten Freitag zu zweit besucht, nachdem ich im Vorfeld einige Empfehlungen gehört hatte und die Location selbst ausprobieren wollte. Insgesamt war es für mich eine sehr durchschnittliche Erfahrung, weder besonders schlecht noch herausragend, weshalb ich 3 Sterne vergebe. Ich kenne in Berlin mittlerweile einige georgische Restaurants und habe dort schon deutlich bessere, aber auch schlechtere Abende verbracht. Da der Außenbereich komplett voll und reserviert war, haben wir drinnen Platz bekommen. Das Ambiente war eigentlich nett, allerdings war es durch eine größere Gruppe (vermutlich ein Klassenausflug) extrem laut, sodass normale Gespräche recht anstrengend waren. Der Service war dafür wirklich super nett, aufmerksam und das Essen kam schnell. Uns wurde sogar vorab angeboten, die Vorspeisen separat oder mit den Hauptspeisen zu bringen. Das war sehr aufmerksam, weshalb wir trotz der Kritikpunkte am Ende auch gerne 10 % Trinkgeld gegeben haben. Der Hauptgrund für meine 3-Sterne-Bewertung liegt im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben insgesamt 90 € bezahlt, was ich für das Gebotene in meiner Wahrnehmung zu teuer fand. Die Hausweine (je ein Glas Weiß- und Rotwein für über 8 € pro 0,2 l) haben meinen persönlichen Geschmack leider gar nicht getroffen. Dem Weißwein fehlten für mich die typisch fruchtigen Noten eines Tsinandali, und der Rotwein wirkte auf mich recht flach, eher wie ein Merlot. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass die Flaschenpreise auf der Karte bei über 30 € starten, hatte ich hier qualitativ einfach mehr erwartet. Auch die Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen für 25 € hat mich optisch und von der Menge her enttäuscht. Es handelte sich um typische drei kleine, eiskugelförmige Dips und eine einzelne Auberginenrolle. Ich weiß, dass die Zubereitung aufwendig ist, aber die Portionsgröße stand für mich in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Das Khachapuri in Schiffchenform war okay, mir persönlich aber deutlich zu dunkel und der Rand zu hart gebacken. Auch der Käse war geschmacklich eher unauffällig. Das absolute Highlight des Abends war für mich dagegen der Lammeintopf, der war wirklich hervorragend abgeschmeckt und sehr lecker. Mir ist bewusst, dass wir uns hier im Kollwitzkiez in einer teureren Gegend befinden, aber 90 € für ein Abendessen zu zweit ohne außergewöhnliche kulinarische Überraschungen sind für mich persönlich eine Ansage. Für mich hat sich der Besuch einmal zum Ausprobieren gelohnt, aber ich würde nicht noch einmal wiederkommen, da ich in Berlin Adressen mit besserem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis kenne.

Gestern mit Freunden im Blauen Fuchs einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht und gegen 20 Uhr war kein Platz unbesetzt. Die Geräuschkulisse war dementsprechend etwas laut. Aber der gute Service und das sehr schmackhafte Essen in angenehmem Ambiente haben uns einen schönen Abend beschert und die Lautstärke vergessen lassen. Gern wieder.

Sehr rare Mischung aus einzigartige Interieur, unglaublich gutes essen und die netteste, aufmerksamste Bedienung der Stadt.

Hervorragendes georgisches Essen! Ob Khinkhali, Auberginengericht, Chatschapuri oder das „Brotboot mit Käse und Fleisch“ (ich habe den genauen Namen vergessen^^). Natürlich ist es Berlin, daher stehen die Tische auf dem schmuddeligen, unebenen Gehweg, aber das hat unseren Genuss kein bisschen getrübt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben für drei Personen, vier Gerichte und ein paar Getränke etwa 90 Euro bezahlt. Ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Absolute Spitze. Wir hatten ein Supra für 2: Die Vorspeisen-Dips geben eine fantastische Variation aus Geschmäckern als Auftakt, bei den Hauptspeisen sind die Khinkali einer der besten Dumplings, die ich hier in Berlin hatte, der Chanahi war aromatisch, das Dessert hat mich ebenso überrascht und alles war mehr als genug. Besonders möchte ich den Service hervorheben, aufmerksam, höflich, fachkompetent, Bombe! Eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

Beliebtes Lokal, aber kulinarisch und beim Service eher durchschnittlich Der Blaue Fuchs in Prenzlauer Berg ist ein ziemlich gefragtes georgisches Restaurant, bei dem es gar nicht so einfach ist, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Nach unserem Besuch war der Gesamteindruck allerdings eher durchwachsen und hat die Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt. 🥟 Essen & Auswahl: Die Karte bietet die typischen georgischen Spezialitäten, und auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine gute Auswahl. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte insgesamt solide, blieben für meinen Geschmack aber eher im Mittelfeld. Wer die klassische, aromatische georgische Küche mit ihrer ganzen Geschmackstiefe sucht, vermisst hier eventuell das gewisse Etwas. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Service & Einrichtung: Die Einrichtung des Lokals ist recht einfach und schlicht gehalten. Beim Service gibt es leider deutliches Optimierungspotenzial: Die Kellner wirkten bei meinen Besuch ziemlich distanziert und leider auch etwas launisch, was die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ein wenig gedrückt hat. 💳 Praktische Infos: Kartenzahlung ist problemlos möglich. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es mit etwas Geduld am Straßenrand. Wenn man in der Gegend ist und keine andere Idee hat, kann man hier durchaus vorbeischauen. Für ein rundum authentisches und herzliches georgisches Restauranterlebnis reicht es aktuell jedoch nicht ganz.

Das Essen ist typisch für die georgische Küche und war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind gehoben. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

Wir sind durch Zufall zu diesem Restaurant gekommen. Georgisch haben wir noch nie gegessen und waren sehr gespannt. Nette Bedienung. Einfache Tische (teilweise recht eng gestellt). Wir hatten die Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen zu Dritt mit Brot. Sehr sehr lecker 😋. Die Hauptspeisen (jeder hatte etwas anderes, waren alle gut und sehr sattmachend. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal hingehen.

Adam war ein überaus netter Kellner. Er kümmerte sich tadellos um den Service und sorgte für einen reibungslosen und angenehmen Ablauf. Auch die Unterhaltung mit ihm war unkompliziert, was den Besuch noch schöner machte. Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr lecker, wir haben es rundum genossen. Da ich selbst in der Gastronomie arbeite, achte ich auf solche Dinge, und es war deutlich zu erkennen, dass er ein fleißiger und echter Profi ist.

Wir hatten gekochte Chinkali vorbestellt. Stattdessen bekamen wir frittierte Chinkali – ein harter, trockener Brei, so trocken wie die Wüste Gobi. Der geschmacklose Teig klebte an den Zähnen, und die Füllung enthielt unerklärliche, harte Stücke. Das Bier war köstlich, die Einrichtung angenehm, aber es war überfüllt und laut. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe im Restaurant Der Blaue Fuchs und haben ziemlich wild durcheinander bestellt – von Vorspeisen bis Hauptgerichten war alles dabei. Trotz des ganzen Trubels kam das Essen zügig und alles gleichzeitig an den Tisch, was bei so vielen Bestellungen wirklich beeindruckend war. Geschmacklich war auch alles top: frisch, gut gewürzt und schön angerichtet. Der Service blieb dabei immer freundlich und entspannt, obwohl wir es der Küche bestimmt nicht ganz leicht gemacht haben. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend – wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Service war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch beim vollen Restaurant ein Plätzchen für uns organisiert. Die Atmosphäre war ok. Also es hätte auch ein deutsches, finisches, irgendein Restaurant sein können, also einwenig charakterlos. Essen war auch ok, aber es hat immer ein Tick zu "sehr gut" gefehlt. Da kann der Koch sicherlich mehr rausholen. Wein und Getränkewahl war wiederum sehr gut, sehr georgisch.

Nette Leute, wirklich schöne Berliner Kulisse, aber ein mittelmäßiges kulinarisches Erlebnis – durchschnittliche Hausmannskostqualität.

tolles Ambiente (leider etwas eng gestellte Tische), sehr angenehmes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen: wir waren an einem Samstag Abend zu viert dort, natürlich waren alle Tische besetzt bzw. reserviert. Wir saßen zum Glück in einer Ecke, aber ruhig war es trotzdem für mein Empfinden nicht. Aber es hat nicht gestört. Wir hatten div. Starter, die extrem lecker waren. Auch die 4 Hauptspeisen waren alle sehr unterschiedlich aber auch lecker und insgesamt sehr ausreichend. Aufgrund der Vorspeise waren wir alle extrem satt und mussten der sehr freundlichen "Aufforderung" zur Nachspeise leider einen Korb geben. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal im blauen Fuchs, für mich hat das Gesamtpaket aus Essen, Service und Ambiente gepasst. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mein Abendessen im Der Blaue Fuchs war einfach wunderbar. Das Restaurant hat eine unglaublich gemütliche Atmosphäre mit sanfter, ruhiger Musik und einem aufmerksamen, herzlichen Service, der einem sofort ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit vermittelt. Das Essen war tadellos – alles schmeckte frisch, aromatisch und war wunderschön zubereitet, mit großzügigen Portionen und einer großen Auswahl. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Menüs für zwei Personen, die neben Fleisch- und Fischgerichten auch eine vegetarische Option bieten. Wir begannen mit köstlichen Aufstrichen, die mit dem berühmten Käsebrot serviert wurden, gefolgt von zwei herzhaften Gerichten – einmal Ratatouille mit Fleisch und einmal Linseneintopf – beide voller Geschmack. Das Dessert war der perfekte Abschluss. Unsere Kellnerin hat das Erlebnis wirklich bereichert: Sie erklärte jedes Gericht, gab uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen und achtete perfekt auf das Timing, sodass wir jeden Gang in Ruhe genießen konnten. Es war ein so angenehmer, entspannter Abend. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! :)

Das authentischste georgische Restaurant in Berlin.

Sehr nettes Personal, freundlich, beratend, achtsam und nicht aufdringlich. Essen war alles rischtisch jutt. Gaumenfreuden vor allem wg. den Gewürzen. Tee und Wein, siehe Essen. Angenehmes Lokal, ein wenig wie in der alten guten Zeit. Da kommt man gerne wieder! 😃

Eine der Top-Adressen in Prenzlauer Berg - besonders für Gruppen! Wenn ihr mal etwas ganz anders ausprobieren wollt, liegt ihr mit der georgischen Küche (die sehr mächtig ist, deshalb: Sharing is key :) ) gold richtig. Wir haben am Silvesterabend hier gegessen und waren alle begeistert. Unbedingt auch einen der georgischen Weine empfehlen lassen.

Der Service war gut, die Atmosphäre angenehm, aber für mich schmeckte das Chatschapuri nicht wie das Original.

My first time eating Gregorian food – and it was a truly wonderful experience. The food was consistently delicious, the quality was excellent, and everything seemed fresh and high-quality. As for the prices, they seemed fair, as far as I could tell. Overall, a very successful visit and definitely recommended.

Very nice food and service, I recommend to go here especially if you are looking for good vegetarian foods. Georgian food like other foods from other countries in the same areas have very nice tasting option for everyone with any tast.

If the waitress is already freezing and working in a jacket, you should probably leave. We stayed and had to eat in our coats as well.

This is a really delicious Georgian restaurant located in P-berg! All the food in the picture (cheese 🧀) was fresh and delicious, and the martini bianco I had with it was served with a single ice cube, which was really refreshing and went well with the food :>

The food was good, though it could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste; the mushroom soup in particular was quite bland (though that's a matter of personal preference). The service was excellent (a young-at-heart man in his prime). He explained everything to us, was very attentive, and we felt very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant.

We arrived at 5 pm...opening time...and within a short time, almost all the tables were occupied. The food is delicious, and the service is very friendly. They even explain what you're ordering. Our table (for two people) was a bit small, and the distance to the next table was quite limited...but it was still very cozy. Unfortunately, it got quite noisy towards the end due to the other guests, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but the quality is excellent.

Great authentic Georgian food. Menu is rather vegetarian friendly. Personnel is extremely friendly and attentive.

We've actually enjoyed going to the Blauer Fuchs over the past few years. Unfortunately, the service yesterday was not good (it was very difficult to place the order, no German, poor English, and generally very slow). Unfortunately, the table I had reserved specifically (and had arranged several times by phone) was not available. We weren't seated well (too close together, too loud), and the service was not satisfactory...a shame. I remember the staff being very, very friendly and tough.

The eggplant rolls are fantastic as always. Today I ordered a dessert platter for two, and wow, it's absolutely amazing. Such a harmonious combination, not too sweet, a real highlight.

The food was exceptional. Unfortunately they brought the starters after the entree. It is very loud / bad acoustics so it’s difficult to talk to each other.

We had a reservation for 8 people at 19.30. We arrived on time but were told to wait outside due to the table not being ready yet. After they called us in, we waited at least 1.5 hours to get our food served and I had to personally ask to at least receive some bread to cover the hunger while we were waiting. They did bring us some bread and shortly after an appetizer free of charge (they probably realized that we were waiting for a very long time). The food was ok but honestly not worth the money we spent. Good but nothing amazing. For the price, we expected something a bit better. Overall not an amazing experience but not terrible either. The free starter was a nice touch but I feel it was too little too late. I would give them another chance (maybe they were understaffed and overworked, that can happen). Much love

We were here once before last year; we saw the restaurant by chance while passing by and had lunch, and this time we planned to (we were visiting Berlin again). You can't get in without a reservation; the place was packed, and rightfully so. If you like coriander, I highly recommend the lamb 😁 With starters, desserts, and drinks, I'd say the prices are reasonable to reasonable.

We were there on Saturday evening. Without a reservation, there was only one table outside, which was perfectly fine for us. We had a very good meal, and the prices seemed reasonable for the food. Unfortunately, we had to wait an extremely long time for the food. The drinks and appetizers came quickly, but there was a gap of over 1.5 hours between the appetizer and the main course. At the table next to us, people came after us, ate, and left. Then new people came, ate, and left again. All while we were waiting. Then the food arrived at even greater intervals. My main course arrived 10 minutes after my friend's. After that, we said we'd like to pay and were forgotten for another 15 minutes until I went inside to pay. With such long waits, or presumably forgotten food, you usually get something on the house. A drink or dessert, etc. At the Blue Fox, one of the two waiters gave us a quiet "sorry" when bringing the food. It's a shame, because the food was actually great and the service was good too. If they forgot our food and made us wait for 1.5 hours, they could have at least apologized properly.

First time eating Georgian food, its really good! On the pricey side but well worth a try once!

I had the dumplings and omg… so good! The waitress said she just started working there, was such a sweetheart and easy to talk to. Can rly recommend this place. Extremely tasty food

Great selection of food and really difficult to decide what to get. Luckily they also have great combo-menus to allow you to try a lot. Fair prices, good wines, delicious food. What else could you want?

Of the four Georgian restaurants I've visited so far, this is by far the best. Some of the dishes have a modern touch and perhaps don't fully meet "classic" expectations. However, the taste, appearance, and portion sizes are excellent and still authentic. The service was friendly, courteous, and gave us excellent advice. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back.

What a delicious meal, sitting overlooking the park. Aubergine, mozzarella leaves, dumplings and cheese bread with egg were all really tasty. Service was fantastic. Great evening thank you.

Long waiting times (over an hour), forgotten orders, and the taste is nothing special despite all the things.

Very delicious Georgian cuisine – the Shkmeruli chicken was a hit, as was the Lobiani with bean paste. We've vacationed in Georgia several times, and the food at this restaurant is authentic and delicious – the best cuisine in the Caucasus – go there and enjoy.

Corrected review: Since I received a letter from the restaurant's lawyer via Google, I'm correcting my review from last fall from 2 to 1 star! The appetizer was very tasty. Unfortunately, the rest wasn't... There were 7 of us and we all had different main courses. It was a team event evening. But only one of them was tasty. The mushroom soup - like almost everything else - tasted almost exclusively of coriander and not at all of mushrooms. I tried it myself! The ratatouille was very fatty. I could tell by the fat oozing from it, and my colleague didn't like it either. The chicken dish - which I ordered myself - had bones. It wasn't marked as such on the menu. The meat, however, was tender. Not suitable for people with nut allergies, as all dishes contain nuts. The drinks were empty three times, and the waitress didn't come back until 10 minutes later to ask for another round. Addition: The waitress was very nice. Unfortunately, she spilled a drink on me. I asked her to buy us a small round. She did! What a shame! I'd heard so many good things about it.

Tye location is quite nice, the service too, but the quality of the food is just not up to the price you pay for it. We ordered a menu for three.. You indeed have the variety (lots of different small portions of everything) but they all tasted the same and nothing really exceptionally tasty. The dessert was non existent and the wines from the wine menu are overpriced (85€ for an ok-ish wine.. Is way too much) There is just a big gap from what you pay and what you get. I will not return to this place.

I really like the restaurant, but I was a bit disappointed to see that some of the menu options we were looking forward to are no longer available. I remember ordering a delicious grill plate two years ago, but it seems that grilled items are no longer offered, which is a bit sad.

The appetizer for two is not worth 25 euros. The bread for the appetizer and one of the dishes came much later than the first two dishes. So one of us was waiting for their food for several minutes. Also, the Georgian lemonade is not really lemonade rather a fizzy flavored drink, which is extremely sweet. The kababi is a mix of meat and didn't really taste or feel like kabab, meaning grilled meat, as such. It wasn't also very well cooked. The ambiance is wonderful both indoors and the terrace. Overall it was okay, but the whole delay in bringing on of the plates made our experience less than pleasant. Will I go back next time ? No I won't.

Best Georgian cuisine 👌 feels like Georgian grandma is cooking for you

My wife and I had reserved a table outside for our wedding anniversary. We arrived – surprise: the table had been accidentally given to someone else. But no problem, you can sit here under this tree at this makeshift, dusty, completely crooked table by the side of the road... We complained, of course, but the very phlegmatic employee wasn't impressed – he was like, "I don't care, you accept our offer or goodbye." No problem, 30 minutes later we're sitting at the competitor's across the street, enjoying a delicious meal and drink. That's how you do good business as a restaurant – bravo, blue fox!

They serve very good Chakaphuli, eggplant with walnuts and phelamushi ☺️

I wouldn't recommend khinkali. Too expensive for 4 pieces that aren't prepared properly. Songs. But the Tabaka hand was delicious 😋

A very nice and highly recommended Georgian restaurant. Some of the waiters were Georgian, but also those who weren't Georgian, were knowledgeable about Georgian dishes and understood Georgian. The service is truly top-notch. The food is very authentic and tasted very good. There's also a nice Georgian wine list. I highly recommend the Georgian mineral water, which isn't something you'd expect from other Georgian restaurants. The only thing I've noticed is that the ambiance was nicer in other Georgian restaurants, but that didn't detract from the evening. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant, try different dishes, definitely enjoy Georgian wine, and try the mineral water (Borjomi). We'll be happy to come back.

The best Georgian restaurant in Berlin. Super delicious food – we shared a mix of appetizers and main courses. Extremely friendly service with genuine attention and dedication to the guests, and the atmosphere (outdoors/summer) is wonderful. Great light, a view of Kollwitzplatz – I've been there twice in the last quarter, and I'll be back!

The food it is good. I give them 2 starts because the main course portions are ridiculously small for the costs. But okay, the zone is expensive. What it really bothered me was that when paying they didn’t give me any change back because they assumed I’ll pay a whopping 15% tip.

No, something has changed. It used to be much better (three years ago). We were disappointed. The menus are not recommended and too expensive (€85 for two plus drinks). Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time, and no one ever really asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything. The food was okay, but nothing special. Luckily, we got a seat outside; it was loud and hot inside.

Cozy restaurant we ran past. We had to squeeze into a space away as everything was booked. We stopped for two drinks, cuba libre and their own lemonade. We had meat dumplings which were very different but very tasty. Nice atmosphere with very nice and well thought out decor. Good area, perfect for a date or small group.

We had a menu for two, which is absolutely worth the price/performance ratio if you come hungry. The food was okay, especially the starters were tasty, but it was definitely not worth having to wait over an hour between starter and main course.

Had been wanting to try this place for a bit, since it always seemed like a great atmosphere whenever I walked by, and the food looked new and tasty. I finally had the chance, and it did not disappoint! We were 3 people (and a dog), and ordered a starter and 2 main dishes, and it was a lot! Great size dishes, super filling and super tasty. Even the dog got a couple bites. The 3 dishes were completely different flavours and super interesting too. The waiters were apologetic and lovely about the wait, but honestly the place was completely full and we really didn't feel like we were waiting for all that long, plus it was a great atmosphere. In conclusion, lovely place, great food that we had never tried before, and super friendly and attentive service as the cherry on top!

A very good recommendation that we followed and have absolutely no regrets. Very fine dishes. Interesting flavor composition for our palate. Great advice and very friendly, dynamic service. The ambience, very nice, lots of people and yet every table looks like a small island. The location is also not far from the bus station. Thanks!

We had a wonderful lunch at the Blauer Fuchs. The service was excellent and the Georgian cuisine was really delicious. We can highly recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

The restaurant is definitely recommended. We were here with two families with children and the food was exceptional and everyone enjoyed it. It was our first time eating Georgian food and the waitress Nata gave us expert advice. The service was great.
