We arrived Friday evening around 10:00 PM with four people. We were shown to a seat and then completely ignored. After about 15 minutes, we left. The staff was sitting outside, busy talking on the phone and smoking... If they didn't want any more guests at that hour, a friendly word upon arrival wouldn't have been a problem. Disappointing.

We love coming to Depesche for dinner; the food is always good, and with Shaima, it's especially good. She's simply a wonderful waitress ♥️

We went to the Depesche today after work, and I have to say I've known this place for a long time and am always impressed by the food and service. But today the service was simply fantastic! Our waitress (number 7) is exceptionally friendly, customer-focused, and pleasant! We were greeted and served with a smile, and we received her undivided attention. In this day and age, when it's so hard to find friendly, pleasant, service-oriented employees, she's truly an exception. The food was delicious, as always, and we'll definitely be back!

We were there two days in a row. The food was delicious, but the staff overshadowed everything. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though we'd never been there before, it felt like coming home. Server 7 was amazing; guests were greeted by name, and she did everything she could to accommodate them, even special requests.

Saima is by far the best waitress you could find. Incredibly attentive and very polite. We're always happy to come back because of her. A lovely place to end the day in the evening.

We visited the Depesche restaurant in Osterath for the first time today. The weather allowed us to sit comfortably outside on the terrace under summer umbrellas. The first thing we noticed was the waitress (7 according to the receipt), who immediately greeted us warmly. We felt welcome. She gave us good advice and responded to our questions and requests. Even though she served the entire terrace, she was always attentive. A true waitress. I emphasize this in such detail because we haven't experienced this in other restaurants for a long time. Refreshing. I really enjoyed the food, farmer's schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes. My partner had chicken with sesame and vegetables in curry sauce and basmati rice – excellent! We felt at home and will be back – for dinner, breakfast (breakfast selection), coffee, or just for a relaxing drink.

The sportsman's plate is highly recommended. The service is fantastic. We'll be back!

My wife and I ate there last night and were very disappointed with the service and the food. 😞. The breading on the schnitzel was thicker than the meat (it wasn't a veal schnitzel). When we asked for a new schnitzel, they didn't bring it. The service was unfriendly and not service-oriented (the staff weren't professional). I can't recommend the restaurant.

I always order the same thing: the pork medallions with fried potatoes and broccoli, and they're simply delicious! Perfectly prepared, superbly seasoned, and always served hot. I'd been looking forward to a delicious schnitzel with fries all day, as I'd been talking about it with my work colleague that morning. And what can I say? I wasn't disappointed. Quite the opposite: the food was delicious and the portion was huge. So you definitely get enough for your money. Plus, we received super friendly and quick service. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We'd love to come back. Thank you for a lovely and delicious evening.

I was there the same day as Krzysztof Ciekielski, who only gave it two stars. I can't understand why. The restaurant is great, the food delicious, and the service very friendly. While we were there, there was a guest with a dog that unfortunately barked a lot. If the owner had gone to speak to the dog's owner, everyone would have thought he didn't like animals. If he didn't go, guests like Krzysztof Ciekielski get upset and give a great restaurant a bad review. For my part, I can only say that I've been eating here for years and always enjoyed it. A definite recommendation!

At the Depesche in Osterath, you can enjoy delicious food for a fair price. The sun terrace is lovely and a great place to linger. The Depesche is particularly impressive due to its excellent service – waitress number 7 is truly top-notch. Your every wish is read from your lips. The clientele is diverse, and there's a cozy atmosphere, especially outside. Dogs are also welcome here and are even provided with water. We always enjoy coming back.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviews! We've been eating there regularly for two years and unfortunately the food and service really do depend on the day. Last time, however, we were more than disappointed. The service spoke very little German and was not particularly attentive or service-oriented. Our fruit spritzers were not carbonated and we really had to keep begging for a new drink. The starter took about 30 minutes to prepare. Our main meal took another 30 minutes, which meant we waited a total of about an hour for our food, even though the place was practically empty. Given the high prices displayed, we cannot really understand how the service at this restaurant can vary so much from day to day. We will consider visiting this restaurant again in the future! What a shame!

We were here at the Depesche today and sat inside due to the hot weather. It was very pleasant. The food (cream of asparagus soup and salad with goat cheese for me) was delicious and just right for the warm weather. We were served drinks very quickly and had a great time with the very nice, funny, and very personable waitress. We'll be back!

We went here for breakfast for the first time in a long time. So far, everything was great. Except for the pre-baked rolls. The quality would have been like rolls from the bakery, just like it used to be. The service was excellent. A few days later, we ate there in the evening and the same waitress. Kudos to her, she's really on the ball. She came to the table very politely three times, asked what we wanted and if everything was okay. The food was excellent. 👌 P.S. It's great that they're serving decent rolls again. 👍

We've been going to the dispatch for years. Sometimes we eat something or just drink a coffee or a beer. Everything is beautiful, tasty and we are always well served.

I would like to give feedback after we visited the store for the second time. The frequency is 4 weeks. On the first visit at the beginning of March everything was good, salads etc. were good. Last Sunday we were disappointed with the food. Request further training from the cooking staff on how to make bruschetta. The fried potatoes that were complained about were charged in full without any feedback on quality, that's not how it works. Important, there is no response, that's not possible. We noticed that as long as the boss was in the store, people were always quick to ask for drinks etc. As soon as he was gone, the attention waned.

We ate here today, 2 adults and 2 children and everyone enjoyed it excellently. The cordon bleu was excellent, as were the fried potatoes and fries. The Rustika salad plate is also highly recommended. A very tasty dressing, fresh salad with two fried eggs and fried potatoes. The service was courteous and very friendly. It wasn't the last time we were here :)

The service was terrible. The first waiter was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. That was the last time I'll be here. On top of that, my cup wasn't washed.

Hey the service was very bad... Waiter 1 (black hair lady) put us at an extreme disadvantage because we were young guys and after 3 hours of staying the things we ordered weren't cleared away AND my cup wasn't cleaned before pouring the coffee :( it's a shame... a very nice atmosphere.

The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. We left it with a drink and went to eat somewhere else in town. The owners have changed several times in the last few years. It used to be nice and tasty😟

I had dinner at Depesche yesterday and it was fantastic as always. We were warmly welcomed and the service was extremely friendly. I was there with my daughter and grandson. Eaten waffles, 1 cup of coffee, one Cappuccino, small Fanta.€38,- Completely overpriced. With help from Depeche, I had bought vanilla ice cream brand Ja at Rewe, next door.

1. It's a shame, we used to be in the dispatch very often and were always very satisfied. On Sunday we wanted to eat the waffles with cherries and cream advertised on a display. We were looking forward to waffles freshly prepared in the waffle iron. What we got left us speechless: fried!!! Waffles that tasted like old fryer grease! We've never experienced anything like this before. Absolutely impossible, not edible! We also returned the latte macchiato we ordered in advance because you could only imagine espresso in the latte, the drink was so tasteless. The service staff was also obviously overwhelmed by the job. Unfortunately we will never visit this restaurant again. 2. Just received the owner's response to our review. We would like to correct that it is possible to make mistakes during the day and that we each ate 1 forkful of the waffle and each drank 1 sip of the so-called latte macchiato. Both went back to you and we left. We don't need to break the bank. The dispatch was always a nice address, it's a shame that the level has changed so much. We will stay at the very good addresses in Düsseldorf again in the future.

Man kann hier tagsüber recht gut essen. Man sollte allerdings die Angabe der Öffnungszeiten, täglich bis 0.00 Uhr, nicht so ernst nehmen. Wenn man nach 22.00 Uhr nur zum Trinken hier verweilen will, dann kann es passieren, dass man recht rigoros zum Zahlen aufgefordert wird. "Sie sind die letzten Gäste, es kostet uns mehr für Sie hier zu bleiben, als wir durch Sie einnehmen". Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus. Es dürfte sich wohl um dieselbe Dame handeln, deren Verhalten hier schon mehrfach kritisiert wurde.

Used to be my local pub. Even then, everything wasn't always perfect. It doesn't have to be! But now you can't even have a nice drink there anymore. There is a lack of passion, taste and liveliness. Let it be, it won't work anymore. It's a shame, it could be so easy...

I'm really disappointed! I ordered a half & half salad without mushrooms, onions and egg and still paid €20 for it. I also waited 90 minutes for my food and the wrong food was brought to me 3 times! In addition, the staff has a fake friendliness, which is very noticeable, and is extremely slow to serve, so not recommended!
