Overall, a very manageable menu with a few vegetarian options. To be precise, 1 vegetarian starter, 1 each vegetarian and vegan main course, 2 desserts. In my opinion, as a very ambitious amateur cook with Thai roots, the vegetarian/vegan menu was not creative and of a simple nature. In fact, they are all dishes that are so undemanding that I sometimes prepare them “on the side” during a stressful work week. So (unfortunately) they didn’t offer me a new taste experience. Everything was satisfactory in terms of craftsmanship and taste and the language of the plates was modern and appetizing. I was happiest with the desserts. However, the portion sizes are very small. If you come hungry like me, you will probably be able to enjoy a 4-course meal without any problems. The high, ambitious prices are partly incomprehensible to me. The non-alcoholic drinks selection is pleasing. Various fruit seccos and a non-alcoholic wine round off the experience, albeit at hefty prices. The ambience is elegant and reserved, with pleasant lighting and comfortable seating. Cleanliness and attentive service completed the positive overall impression.

Just one. I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with real sushi, artisanal. I only saw it on Kabel1, but 昆布 (pronounced Kombu) is not cooked with, but is removed before boiling... The next thing, the seasoning of the rice is not pure rice vinegar, but hot rice vinegar AND sugar AND salt (8 tbsp Vinegar, 4 tbsp sugar & 1 tsp salt, approximately, this is called sushi-tsu). The next point is that the rice must be fanned cold after mixing with sushi-tsu, do not let it sit for 4 hours and let it get cold DEADLY SIN. I'm sorry, but this matter needed to be put right. THE REST IS GREAT! Great restaurant, deserved points!!! If I'm around, I'll eat at your place!

A wonderful restaurant. The selection isn't huge, but what's on offer is of great quality. The starter, main course and dessert are creatively prepared and really tasty. The prices are affordable and because of the teaching you have the feeling that you are doing something good. Definitely go. Unreservedly recommended!

Definitely try it out! :) We were guests for the fourth time and have to say that both the food and the service have surpassed themselves each time. We heartily recommend the restaurant and yes, it's not cheap - but the prices are absolutely justified! I'm happy to pay more for an evening at the DenkmaHl than in a run-of-the-mill restaurant. Above all, the concept behind it, with the training of young people, is worth more than 5 stars alone. Great!! We were guests at the Denkma(h)l in Hamm for the first time last week. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable throughout the evening. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food absolutely convinced us. We didn't expect that and we will definitely come back. Great concept, beautifully executed.

Spontaneously stopped at the Denkma(h)l for lunch. At this point the dining room was still almost empty, so we headed towards a table, which prompted us to be asked a somewhat harsh question about a reservation. At least we were seated at the (supposedly) last free table. Despite this somewhat unfriendly introduction, the rest of the process was okay, the food and the price-performance ratio were really very good. The ambience of the restaurant is also very successful and we will definitely come here again on our next visit to Hamm. Then with reservation 😉. P.S.: Even when we left, we still managed to find a place, despite the good number of visitors.

Very attentive and friendly service, enjoyed a varied buffet at a private celebration, salad dressing and the guinea fowl are top notch. Elegant ambience and great concept - absolutely recommended!

Leckeres und sehr gutes Essen. Kellner sind nett und zuvorkommend aber leider wurden bei uns 2 mal falsche Getränke an den Tisch gebracht. Wir waren gestern dort und es war wirklich rundum perfekt. Die Geschmackskompositionen sind wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Ein großes Kompliment an den Koch dafür, dass er für mich alle Gänge in vegan umgestalten konnte. Wer sich so ernährt weiß, dass diese Ernährungsform zwar in größeren Städten schon Gewohnheit ist, in einer Stadt wie Hamm jedoch hat man bis auf einige Ausnahmen oft Schwierigkeiten mit der Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Definitiv war das das beste vegane Menü, welches ich je gegessen habe. Vielen Dank!

Ich muss schon sagen, sehr gesalzene Preise! Wenn man bedenkt, dass dieses restaurant von der Malteser geführt wird.

Sehr sehr aufmerksamer Kellner! Vegane Variante selbst beim Gruß aus der Küche und beim Dessert! Wir waren begeistert vom Geschmack und dem äußerst gelungenen Anrichten der Speisen. Vom Preis her sicher nichts für jeden Tag, aber wer sich mal etwas Besonderes gönnen möchte, isst hier absolut richtig!

Dieser Abend bleibt uns in guter Erinnerung! Mit 8 Personen einen wunderschönen Abend auf der Terrasse verbracht. Der Empfang und begleitende Service waren aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war einfach großartig! --- Meine Erwartungen waren nach Schilderungen von Freunden schon hoch - wurden aber noch übertroffen! Sehr freundlicher Service, Sonderwünsche (glutenfrei) wurden erfüllt, die Teller ein Augenschmaus. Wer einen rundum gelungenen Abend erleben möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Wenn ich das Essen in diesem Restaurant mit einem Wort beschreiben müsste, würde ich sagen: Erlebnisgastronomie! Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis und wir konnten einfach nicht genug davon bekommen. Aber es ist nicht nur das Essen, das mich so überzeugt. Der Service ist einfach hervorragend! Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Sie wissen immer, wann sie uns in Ruhe lassen müssen und wann sie unsere Getränke nachfüllen oder uns eine Empfehlung für eine leckere vegane Option geben können. Die veganen Optionen sind übrigens auch der absolute Hammer! Jedes Gericht ist perfekt zubereitet und unglaublich lecker. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein tolles Restaurant. Es wird als Ausbildungsbetrieb von den Maltesern betrieben. Das Essen ist dort immer hervorragend. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Eine sehr schöne "Einrichtung", da es sich ja um ein Lehrort handelt und nicht um ein "normales" Restaurant. Service sehr gut, die Gerichte sehen nicht groß aus, sättigen aber auf den Punkt und man kann noch einen Nachtisch "wegputzen" 😁. Das Ambiente ist normal, keine Mottolocation oder Kultstätte... Wir sind jetzt Fördermitglieg geworden, nachdem zwei Besuche sehr schön waren.

Geschmacklich sehr gut, Service ebenfalls, eventuell fast etwas zu viel, aber ist ja eine Lehrgastronomie. Somit okay. Ambiente könnte etwas mehr Atmosphäre vertragen.

Kleine Karte, gute Preise, gute Qualität und freundlicher Service

Schönes Restaurant an der Ostenallee. Schickes Ambiente mit einer ebensolchen Dachterrasse. Der Service ist sehr gut, sehr freundlich, die Küche ist hervorragend, es lief zurückhaltender Klavier-Jazz, kurz: Es passte alles.

War mit meiner Frau zum Abendessen dort und hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut da die Küche bisher unseres Erachtens sehr gut war.Leider sind die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt worden.DieZwiebel Consomme war lau warm und ohne jegliche Finesse,das Julienne Gemüse in der Suppe war roh.Zum Hauptgang hatte ich das Spanferkelkotlett was zwei kleine Stücke Fleisch die zwar rosa gebraten waren aber ohne Geschmack.Die Creme Polenta als Beilage bestand aus einem Streifen von 15 Zentimeter aus der Zahnpasta Tube gedrückt.(gefühlt).Zwei fingermöhrchen mit kleinen Birnen Kügelchen garniert war die Zugabe.Leider war diese Speise auch nur lauwarm.Bei einem Preis von 27,50 für den Hauptgang erwarte ich etwas mehr .Den Nachtisch habe ich mir dann geschenkt.Der Gruß aus der Küche vorweg war durchaus gut.Werde so schnell dort nicht mehr einkehren.Das Essen meiner Frau war akzeptabel,aber bei diesen Preisen und kleinen Portionen .War mit dem vorherigen Koch um Klassen besser.

Die Einrichtung ist rundum zu begrüßen. Hier wird Jugendlichen eine Ausbildung geboten, die es am Arbeitsmarkt schwer haben. Wenn es aber Ausbildnern nicht gelingt, den Azubis den Unterschied zwischen einer Tomatensuppe und einer Parmesansauce zu vermitteln, gibt dies zu denken.

Schönes Ambiente, bei gutem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen, Preise leicht gehoben (aber durchaus angemessen!), freundliche und aufmerksame Restaurantleitung, Essen sehr gute Qualität und man wird durchaus satt 😋👍, Fazit: Neben dem sozialen Aspekt, der erschwerend hinzukommt 👍👍😉, ist das Gesamtpaket hervorragend!!!🥰

Zum Mittagessen sind wir im Denkmahl gewesen. Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich waren unsere Speisen top. Medaillons vom Schwein, Calvados Apfelsoße, Kartoffelauflauf Nudeln mit Gemüse Huhn mit Spinatkartoffelstampf und rote Bete Soße

Wer nur Philosophie dieses Ladens kennt kommt mit dem Gefühl einer guten Tat hierhin und wird von dem wirklich köstlichen Essen mehr als überrascht. Wir sind gerne und regelmäßig hier.
