Delphi Restaurant in Hammelburg

Was there a few montgs ago , considering it was close to our home . The food was mostly ok , nothing great about it , everything except gyros is mostly deep fried which is not my favorite at all but considering the times we live in i'd consider eating there again .

Had a meal there this evening and the price had risen a lot. The service was very intrusive

Large covered terrace protects from rain and sun. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Quality and taste match the pricing. It would be a shame if the region lost this Greek restaurant. Not everything is perfect, but I'd love to come back. In my opinion, the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages!

Very expensive. Chicken breast salad only had a small piece of meat (very salty!), otherwise almost only iceberg lettuce floating in dressing, no bread. Extra tzatziki (3 small dabs) costs 5 euros! Card payment only possible from 50 euros!!!!?? Sorry, but not again. Price-performance is very bad!

Went there today with the family. There are children's meals that are good in size. The food is very tasty. The staff was friendly and motivated. Unfortunately, the children's starters came at the same time as the main course. That was a bit unfortunate, but not that bad. The prices are a bit high.

Was there today and ate gyros in Metaza sauce with fries. The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. The atmosphere is very nice there. Definitely recommended!

I was with my wife yesterday spontaneously to eat there. We didn't have a reservation and were lucky we still got a table. Super delicious food, large portions and great service! We can highly recommend this restaurant!

Insult to every catering establishment that makes an effort! Shopping and cooking yourself is not only cheaper but is definitely worth it here. 36€ for 2 people (dishes only) would be a completely reasonable price if the service was right. The potatoes are frozen, which you can taste straight away and have no bite at all, the salad consists of 5 leaves as well as a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato, meat was okay but the quantity doesn't qualify as fillet. Once & never again, not recommended!

The ambience makes an outdated and less comfortable impression, whether it's the broken speaker with intermittent music or the ashtray that is left on the table while you eat (very appetizing as a non-smoking table). There is virtually no decoration The service had no overview and was overwhelmed with 3 tables. Example: The cards wanted to be covered even though no order had been placed yet, everything was cleared away and tidied up at closing time even though there were still guests there. #Bouncers Apart from the waiting time between meals or the bill. The food was mediocre to bad. Nothing tasted homemade, except perhaps the salad, which was cut by myself. Gyro meat was tough, mixed, fatty and absolutely frozen. If you are demanding and like Greek food, you should look for something else

The food wasn't particularly tasty, it felt like it was only frozen food. Not even fried potatoes were homemade. In the open area, the speaker for the ambient music had a loose connection and kept going on and off. At the end you had to add up how much everyone had to pay (separate payment for a group) Card payment was not possible because the device was apparently defective.

The speaker cable urgently needs to be fixed. How annoying… Unfortunately no card payment was possible. You should calculate the total of the bill yourself if you pay separately. Unfortunately, the gyro had a lot of tough pieces of tendon. Before ordering it was said that Gyros was empty. I've never heard that from a Greek. As a non-smoker you can hardly sit in the front garden because it smells of smoke. As a non-smoker you also get an ashtray on the table. The ouzo was first forgotten, but then brought (there was no longer one after the meal). In general, the food doesn't seem homemade. Complete convenience products. Worst Greek experience I've had so far.

The food was mediocre, calamari was tough and old fat. That was still somewhat bearable. But the situation didn't, because the boss completely lacked Greek hospitality and politeness as a restaurateur. Very tasty and large portions! The salad and drinks arrive quickly and the food arrives shortly after. Never waited longer than 20 minutes. All meat tastes great. The rice was excellent, the garlic potatoes were great! 2 waitresses who are on point...another plus point.

Nice ambience. Delicious food, meat seasoned very tasty, garlic potatoes with fresh (!) pressed garlic. Food was quick; We waited 3 minutes for a side salad and only 10 minutes for the main meal and sat outside. New owners very friendly. Absolute recommendation.

Were there for the second time. Food tastes very good. Although the restaurant was very full, the starter arrived at the table after just 5 minutes. The salad and the main course immediately afterwards. Everything is fresh and looks homemade. Yes, it's a little more expensive than others, but I'm happy to spend a little more for the taste. Absolutely worth it.

I wanted to meet with my work colleagues today. I was blind and took the train to Hammelburg with my guide dog and was looking forward to a lovely evening. As I went to the entrance, a man stood in the doorway so that we had to stop. I said we had a reservation, to which he said that my dog ​​wasn't allowed in the restaurant, there was probably a sign there too. I noticed that it was a guide dog that could accompany me everywhere, but he just said there was a sign there. Since I was pretty wet from the rain and didn't feel like arguing at all, I said I would go again. I will no longer enter this restaurant, with or without a dog. A guide dog is a registered aid, like a wheelchair and the like. I'm tired of always coming across ignorant people and having to justify them. My dog ​​accompanies me everywhere, that's what he's there for. It doesn't matter whether you're going to the doctor, the hospital, shopping or just eating. According to Section 12e Paragraph 1 of the Disability Equality Act (BGG), people with disabilities may not be denied access to facilities or facilities that are typically accessible to the general public and for use because they are accompanied by assistance or guide dogs. What rights does an assistance dog have in public? Assistance dogs are aids under the law and are allowed to accompany your partner everywhere. This also applies to places where family dogs are not allowed, such as public buildings, grocery stores, doctor's offices, hospitals, theaters, cinemas, etc. I am aware that many people don't know how access rights and guide dogs work, but perhaps it would be nice and social to simply ask or something similar, and not just insist on the sign dogs must stay outside.

Didn't know the owner had changed. Ordered and picked up. Very friendly, but the food was anything but good. Were very disappointed. It's a shame...there definitely won't be a second time...😞

The new owner is friendly, the food is good, but the portions are very small. The previous owner's portions were significantly larger. For the price you want to be full and not leave the restaurant hungry.

This restaurant is total class. Very good cuisine, cozy atmosphere and very attentive hosts. Highly recommended, two ouzu are included. It's simply worth it. Now I find out that the extremely friendly, helpful operators are giving up. Oh dear, oh dear, that's very sad, especially for Hammelburg. Hopefully the successor can maintain this level. I'm really sorry!!

I chose the Delphi plate for €19 - the plate was "clear" but otherwise completely fine. Unfortunately there was only a dollop of tzatziki, so I asked for a little more and it was brought to me immediately. I see it as absolute impudence that the second helping of tzatziki was added to the bill for €5. When asked, the waitress simply said: “You ordered!” Never again!

The Bifteki wouldn't disappoint the Greeks, I think this was maybe among the best Greek food in the budget category I had in Germany. Spices and herbs were on point, very much exactly like in Greece. Would definitely come back! Service wasn't as smiley and friendly as in Greece but I understand it was a super busy night and very prompt service. Pricing is more than fair for the quality. We arrived here very hungry on Wednesday evening. Except for the table next to the entrance door, everyone else was reserved. Since all the other guests arrived after us, the place wasn't that pleasant, as there was a constant coming and going, fast and cold with people looking at our plates. But...we were happy to get a seat. The service was very friendly and helpful and we had our food very quickly despite the very full restaurant. This was beyond reproach. The portions were very large, very hot and tasted great. We'll be back, but then with a prior reservation.

Unfortunately I couldn't get a seat, but the staff was extremely unfriendly and they both probably had a bad day. I don't normally know Greeks. Card payment wasn't possible either, I don't know if that only applies to take away. ☹ It's a shame too.

Absolutely good - but unfortunately it's closing!

Well, you won't find a Greek atmosphere. Although it is modernly furnished, there is a cold atmosphere. The constant loud ringing of the phone when orders are taken away is annoying. The food is rich but far too salty and the plate is covered with tons of potato chips sprinkled with garlic bits, not garlic oil like you would expect from a Greek restaurant. The worst thing, however, came after the meal, NO card payment! This is an absolute no-go for a restaurant! You will also look in vain for information at the entrance that card payments are not possible. The service just gave you the feeling of quick processing. Overall very disappointing!

It was long overdue to go to a Greek restaurant for dinner again. The food was unique, I normally only eat small portions but in Hammelburg my craving for good food was awakened again. Very high praise.

Das Essen war nicht der Burner, gewisse Fleischanteile waren zum zweiten Mal gestorben ( zu Tode gebraten)... werden aber vielleicht dem ansonsten schönen Laden eine zweite Chance geben

After a long time we were back in the Delphi after the sauna. Everything was perfect, I still struggle with the smell of garlic today.

Very recommendable food, reasonable price-performance ratio. I chose the 603, mixed vegetables in tomato sauce, gratinated with cheese, with garlic potatoes with tzatziki and salad - for €12.50. The drinks were accompanied by ouzo. Overall a very pleasant stay with very, very tasty food.

Been here several times and a pleasure every time. I love Greek food and find it delicious here. The size of the portions has decreased a bit (like everywhere), but I still think the portions are very good. Last visit the meat was perfect.

vorweg, ich war in der Mittagszeit essen. Die Knoblauchkartoffeln waren sehr trocken und demzufolge fast wie Kartoffelchips. Das Gyros war in mein Augen auch nicht frisch aber das Hähnchen Steak hat gut geschmeckt 😁. Der Salat war auch Lecker. Ich gehe davon aus daß es Abends mit Sicherheit besser schmeckt. Hab halt da an den Tag die A... Karte gezogen 😅. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön 👍

Essen war gut, für viele zu viel Knoblauch Service kam nicht zum nachbestellen rum, ansonsten hätten wir noch was getrunken

Bei außer Haus Bestellung fehlte bei zwei Gerichten die extra Portionen Gyros, diese wurden auf Rechnung abkassiert. Haben dies dann per Anruf Reklamiert und es wurde ausgemacht das wir nochmal vorbeifahren können um das fehlende Essen abzuholen. Das hab ich getan und noch nach etwas Tzatziki gebeten, dürfte ja kein Problem sein 🤷🏻‍♀️ Für diese Portion wurde dann nochmal 1,50 € verlangt was ich ziemlich frech fand und dies habe ich auch gesagt.. schließlich bin ich auch extra nochmal losgefahren um das bezahlte fehlende Essen abzuholen. Nicht schön sowas.

Super nette mit- arbeiter,leckeres Essen. Es ist 16.55 Uhr 6 Leute ohne Reservierung vor Ort und die Bedienung bringt alle unter. Nebenbei werden noch 8essen abgeholt,Weltklasse küchen crew. Um 17.30 ist alles ausgebucht trotzdem läuft der Service spitzenmässig.hut ab vor den mitarbeitern

Wir haben telefonisch Essen to Go bestellt! Klare Bestellung aufgegeben, jedoch manches doppelt, oder falsch zusammengestellt! Leider wurde bei der Bestellung keine Wiederholung durchgeführt! Nachdem wir bei der Abholung die Bestellung kontrolliert und beanstandet haben, wurde die Service-Dame recht ungehalten und empfahl uns das nächste mal im Restaurant zu essen, dann würde soetwas nicht passieren! Freundlich geht anders!! VORSICHT im Internet gibt es viele Anbieter von Speisekarten dieses Restaurants. Diese sind oft veraltet und die Preise entsprechen nicht dem aktuellen Stand! Das Essen selbst ist Essbar, aber durchschnittlich! Wir werden jedenfalls hier so schnell nicht wieder bestellen!

Gyros Teller war sehr gut. Nette Bedienung. Lasst aber bitte die Zitrone weg, passt nicht zum Griechen.

Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen. Unsere beiden Gerichte(Grillplatte und Lammfilet) haben uns nicht geschmeckt. Es ist ein Spinatreis dabei der ganz glibberig ist. Das Fleisch schmeckt wie in der Pfanne gebraten. Richtig lecker war eigentlich nur der Tzaziki. Der leider mit Graubrot serviert wird

Beim ersten Mal war das Essen prima. Leider können wir das vom zweiten Mal nicht behaupten. Mein Gyros war hart und bei meinem Mann ein Haar im Salat. Dieser wurde zwar ersetzt, aber insgesamt waren wir nicht mehr so zufrieden.

Sehr solide! Guter flotter Service, angenehmes Ambiente, besonder auf der Terrasse draussen. Essen recht schnell da, amtliche Portion, sehr solide in Geschmack und Zubereitung. Ich empfehle statt der Knoblauchkartoffeln den Tomatenreis zu bestellen. Man sollte auch telefonisch reservieren, der Laden ist gut besucht. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal!

Die Vorspeisen sind durchschnittlich. Die Hauptgerichte mit Knoblauchkartoffeln ein Gedicht. Der Beilagensalat eine Frechheit. Da der Service schnell und gut noch gerade so 4 von 5 Sternen.

Leider war das Essen kalt. Der Service war auch sehr unfreundlich und hat sich nicht mal fürs kalte Essen entschuldigt. Essen mittelmäßig. Erst mal nicht mehr :(

Ins Delphi gehen wir immer sehr gern. Die Bedienung ist nett, das Essen kommt schnell und schmeckt sehr lecker! Die Portionen sind so reichlich, dass wir für unser kleineres Kind meist nur einen „Räuberteller“ bestellen. Extra Kindergerichte werden aber auch angeboten. Einziges Manko - die Kleidung riecht nach dem Besuch deutlich nach „Wirtschaft“ und muss direkt in die Wäsche... Im Sonmer kann man aber auch sehr schön auf der Terrasse sitzen.

Der Platon-Teller war sehr gut, der Service ist freundlich und das Ambiente passt. Im Sommer lädt zu dem noch der Biergarten ein. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

Das Delphi ist ein kleines und mittlerweile renoviertes Lokal. Wir waren hier schon öfters beim Essen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Es ist empfehlenswert einen Tisch zu reservieren, da es am Wochenende sehr gut besucht ist. Die großen Portionen sind super lecker, die Preise hierfür mehr als angemessen. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich. Wir können das Delphi nur empfehlen!!

Seit wenigen Jahren gibt es in Hammelburg endlich wieder einen Griechen und noch dazu einen, der wirklich leckere Gerichte auf den Teller bringt. Besonders die Metaxa-Soße ist ein Traum! Der Service ist freundlich und nach einem Umbau erstrahlt das Restaurant wirklich einladend. Wir kommen gerne hierher!

Sind schnell bedient worden.Service nett und nicht aufdringlich. Essen grosse Portionen, aber geschmacklich nicht so überragend. Nicht schlecht aber auch nichts Besonderes. Knoblauchkartoffeln waren mit extrem viel Knobi besteht worden. Wird viel auf die Friteuse gesetzt in punkto Zubereitung. Unter einem griechischen Beilagensalat stelle ich mir keinen Eisbergsalat mit Majonaisegemisch vor. Mehr eigene Kreationen und weg vom griechischen Einheitsessen würde ich mir wünschen. Masse heisst nicht Klasse. Wird nicht mein Lieblingsgrieche. Es gibt deutlich Bessere. Ambiente modern und stellenweise rustikal. Es wird sich bemüht, und das Essen war okay, aber nichts, was ich nicht überall bekommen kann. Preis- Leistung war in Ordnung und gerechtfertigt.

Bester und einziger Grieche im Umkreis von Hammelburg :) Eignet sich auch gut für Fahrradausflüge!!!

Schmackhaftes Essen und freundlicher Service zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das ist doch schon mal ein guter Grund den Griechen zu loben. Ein kleines Manko: der Salat ist ok; unter einem griechischen Salat verstehen aber wohl die meisten etwas anderes.

Restaurant ist in einer Siedlung zu finden. Es ist klein. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Chef ist super sympathisch.manchmal ist seine Frau auch da. Beide sehr freundlich. Sehr großzügige Portionen Essen schmeckt lecker
