We stayed here from Friday to Sunday. Superb rooms. Very quiet location. The breakfast is fantastic. Fresh rolls, fresh eggs (if you want them), fresh coffee, tea, fresh fruit, vegetables, sausage and cheese, jam and Nutella, cornflakes, and muesli. We also ate dinner here twice. So delicious, super tender schnitzels that simply melt in your mouth, fries cooked to perfection, the burger was a dream, and the chanterelle schnitzel with potatoes and gravy was a dream. I loved it and will definitely come back. Thank you

You cycle 30 km (one way), check the opening hours on the website first, and... CLOSED. (Sunday, 12:15 p.m.) Thanks for nothing. Better to go somewhere where the opening hours are reliable. What's so hard about keeping the opening hours up to date?

We were on a motorcycle trip and had dinner here. The food was good, but could have been a bit more substantial; the Mürschter Urstoff beer in the mug was absolutely delicious. We'll be back.

Very nice rooms and very friendly staff. The food is exceptionally good. We were there with eight motorcycles and were able to park in the barn. Highly recommended for motorcycle tours.

A wonderful spot, this meadow by the Saale River with a Portuguese food truck. A true gem. The espresso is great. You feel truly at home here.

Rating applies to hotel and restaurant: Hiking group of 26 people, Pentecost 2025. Located in rural Morlesau, the hotel offers clean, functionally furnished rooms with bathrooms. The restaurant served a good breakfast, and we had a good dinner there in the evening. We pre-ordered dinner in the morning, so there was no significant wait. The food was delicious, and the service at the table was friendly and prompt. All in all, a clear recommendation in a natural setting surrounded by greenery and by the Franconian Saale River.

Simply perfect all around! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this restaurant! The food was not only a highlight in terms of taste, but also beautifully presented – you can immediately tell that a lot of love and fresh ingredients are used here. The staff was super friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. As a guest, you feel truly welcome and well looked after. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – ideal for a relaxing evening for two or a meal with friends or family. A special highlight is the beautiful beer garden right on the Saale River. Not only is there a wonderful place to sit amidst the greenery, but you can even moor your canoe right there and take a break – simply perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature with enjoyment. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

Actually a nice restaurant with nice staff, nicely located with a cozy beer garden - just unfortunately a bit disorganized. If two orders are forgotten in a group of 8 people and three medium-sized steaks all have a different degree of doneness, there is still room for improvement. The other dishes were all perfectly fine

So the food itself was pretty good except for the steaks. Only the waiting time was 1.5 hours and three of us ordered a steak (all medium) and they were all done differently, one was almost raw. Unfortunately there were no cushions and no blankets but the view was very nice. There were eight of us and two orders were forgotten

For good home-style food, you can eat and drink well here. Homemade spaetzle and other classics are on the menu here. The view of the building and the entrance area should be improved.

We stayed here in this beautiful inn for a few days. Everything was perfect, we were in very good hands. Our room was nice and comfortable. The food was wonderful and the family was very friendly and helpful, the service in the restaurant was great. 5 stars from us and we will of course come back.

On our bike trip we were able to have 4 cyclists stay overnight near Nöth. Beautiful garden on the Saale, with a mobile snack bar and its delicious, partly Portuguese, offerings. Rooms and restaurant very good. It was a really nice stay. Thanks!

Unfriendly host. After traveling 8km by bike, we were sent away in a very unfriendly tone. Everything reserved, hotel guests, it's Tuesday... No offer of a waiting area or drink or any attempt to make anything happen. I can't judge food; I wouldn't have enjoyed it in this mood.

Franconian-Portuguese cuisine, an unusual but really great combination. Cozy terrace, very friendly staff and a good selection of dishes from fish, beef, pork to vegetarian. Fine selection of vegetables to go with the fish, everything freshly prepared. We'll definitely be back, especially if you can use the boat rental on site again.

We spent a wonderful weekend here including a great birthday party with the family. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was very tasty: on Friday we ate a la carte, on Saturday we had a barbecue buffet on the beautiful terrace to celebrate, which left no wish unfulfilled. We stayed in the hotel directly opposite. The rooms are modernly renovated and very clean. Even the request for an extra bed was immediately followed up in the evening. There is direct access to the Saale via the large garden with a food truck and playground. In short - great location, great food, great people - immediately again if the opportunity arises :-)

Very nice, family-run hotel with great overnight accommodations in the neighboring house! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, delicious food, no long waiting times, and when the weather is good there are nice places to sit outside! We were allowed to bring our dog, he was also allowed to take us to breakfast and dinner, thank you!

Pure idyll, beautiful cycling and hiking trails and then super good Franconian-Portuguese food. Guys, I can really recommend the inn that is part of the hotel! I had Portuguese Cod Bacalhau com Broa and my husband had Asparagus with Schnitzel. We were both thrilled. Really good Essa. The service was also 1a. We'll be back soon. Above all, we want to try the Portuguese tapas, which were unfortunately completely sold out when we discovered this restaurant yesterday. The owners, who also prepared the food themselves, were also super nice. See you soon

Nice hotel restaurant. Get off the highway in search of a forgotten gem. Here's one. Child and dog friendly. Restaurant has a nice menu. There is plenty to choose from for everyone. Wines and beers excellent. Hotel is located opposite. Spacious rooms in a beautifully renovated stately old building. It's all clean and with a shower.

Eine echte Entdeckung mitten auf dem Land! Sehr gutes Essen - hier kann jemand wirklich kochen. Und der Service ist erstklassig - sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und gut geschult. Kann man nur empfehlen!

Familienfeier mit 20 Personen, super Service, sehr gutes Essen und perfekt eingedeckt. So wurde die Feier ein voller Erfolg, alle Gäste waren sehr zufrieden und haben sich wohlgefühlt. Auch die Unterbringung im zugehörigen Hotel hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet.

Prima Ambiente leider am Ende der Welt. Lecker Essen von der portugiesischen Küche. Komme ich gerne wieder hin.

Wir haben auf unserer Motorradtour zurück in die Schweiz hier (leider zu kurz) Station gemacht. Trotz Ruhetag im Restaurant konnten wir abends dort essen. Sehr empfehlenswerte Küche übrigens. Das renovierte Zimmer fanden wir sehr gut - und wir haben SEHR gut geschlafen. Die Lage ruhig - ein Traum. Ich mag solche Häuser mit Geschichte. Service, Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft - grosse Klasse. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Wahrscheinlich das beste Lokal in der Umgebung. Allerdings nicht günstig für die Region. Gut gelegen für Kanu- und Radtouren. Zu empfehlen.

Kleines Hotel in herrlicher Umgebung zum Motorradfahren. Freundliches nettes Gastwirts Paar mit großzügiger Kulanz bei der Zimmerabrechnung, da wir in unserer Motorradgruppe kurzfristige Absagen hatten. Essen sehr lecker. Ich kann es nur Empfehlen.

Morlesau strahlt eine angenehm entspannte Leichtigkeit aus - passend zum im Gasthof Nöth servierten fantastischen portugiesischen Nationalgericht. Aber auch die Freundlichkeit der Betreiber-Familie und die ausgezeichnete Qualität aller anderen von uns verzehrten Speisen und Getränke laden zum wiederholten Besuch ein. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Leckeres Essen mit Zutaten aus der Region. Sehr nettes Personal

Schönes Lokal aus der alten Zeit mit viel Gemütlichkeit und verschiedene Räume für ein persönliches Treffen. Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal auch zu den Kindern.

Ein richtig gemütliches und rustikales (...bitte nicht "modernisieren") Restaurant mit viel Flair, bei schönem Wetter kann man auch draußen auf der großen Terrasse essen, sehr gute "Slow Food Küche", überaus freundliche und aufmerksame Inhaber und ebensolches Personal. Die behaglichen Zimmer im Gästehaus sind frisch renoviert. Dazu gibt's einen herrlichen Biergarten direkt an der Fränkischen Saale! ...und einen trockenen Platz für die "Mopeds" und Fahrräder gibt's auch noch. Da passt einfach alles! Ein Ort zum Entspannen und wohlfühlen. Und wer Lust zum paddeln auf der wunderschönen Fränkischen Saale hat, der ist hier Dank eines Kanuverleihs ebenfalls richtig! Immer wieder sehr gerne!

Etwas abgelegen, aber super Essen.

Von außen macht das Restaurant nicht viel her, aber innen ist es doch gepflegt. Der Service ist gut und das Essen vorzüglich (ich kann nur das Steak mit Pfeffersauce bewerten). Ich kann das Restaurant jedem Steakliebhaber nur empfehlen, ich komme natürlich wieder hierher.

Das Restaurant ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und gemütlich. Das Essen war Prima insbesonders das zart rosa gebratene Steak und der Saibling schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Das Essen kam schnell auf den Tisch und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Schöne Lage, herrliche Wohlfühlecken im Biergarten

Seit Jahren kommen wir als Stammgäste und sind immer wieder von der frischen und gleichbleibenden Qualität begeistert. Sowohl die Küche als auch der sehr nette Service vedient volle Punktzahl:)

Ein wunderschöner Abend. Sehr gut gespeist. Außerordentlich aufmerksamer und freundlicher Kellner. Besonders gefallen hat die Auswahl an portugiesischen Speisen und Getränken.

Wir (18 Personen) waren in der Ferienwohnung untergebracht. Die Badezimmer waren renoviert und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Alle waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Einziger DICKER Kritikpunkt: Wir haben auf Empfehlung des Chefs seine portugiesischen Grillhähnchen bestellt - ein halbes Hähnchen kostete 17,50 (in Worten siebzehneuroundfünzigcent) Euro. Sorry - da fühle ich mich über den Tisch gezogen. Da muß ich 2 Punkte abziehen.
