Delphi in Aschaffenburg

We spontaneously decided to dine here again last night after a long time. Although the restaurant was almost fully booked, they still gave us a very nice table. The service was exceptionally friendly throughout, and they even had time for a chat. Our drink and food orders were taken promptly, and the drinks arrived shortly after. The food didn't take long to arrive either. It was a feast for the eyes, and not just visually. We'll definitely be back.

We went there for a family birthday party; the reservation went smoothly, and the service and atmosphere were great. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. However, the portion sizes were rather small, but luckily we had a good breakfast not too long before. If you're really hungry, you should definitely plan on ordering an appetizer and dessert.

One of the few remaining bastions of consistently excellent food in Aschaffenburg. The best Greek restaurant around. Decent portions, fair prices, and always friendly and helpful service. Reservations are highly recommended. When the restaurant is full, it can get a bit noisy. We always enjoy coming here.

I was there on October 4th... despite having a reservation we were given a small table where the five of us had to sit, no room to put our plates down, I had to sit as the fifth person in the middle of the aisle on a chair where everyone touched me as they walked past... the whole service took a long time, nobody had time to bring us food or take our order... the fish platter was dry and cooked for too long... we left without dessert because we simply weren't served... even when paying I had to simply press the money button in the middle of the aisle because nobody came... my recommendation for a restaurant is I'd rather have fewer customers and satisfaction than just dissatisfied customers with overwhelmed staff. Unfortunately it's no longer my favorite restaurant

We were in the area at short notice and called spontaneously. The staff was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either, which was surprising given the high number of visitors. "I think that alone speaks volumes about how good it is." The food and the service all speak for themselves. Thank you very much... 😉

The food and service are very good. Very long opening hours, great! The scampi starter from the oven (number 11) on the menu is highly recommended! I'm a regular visitor, even later than 9:00 PM.

We entered the restaurant at 6:15 p.m., and by 8 p.m., we still hadn't had our food. We had a small child with us, and after asking four waiters how long it would take, we left. There was no response. Our child almost fell asleep at the table.

The food was very good. The service was also very professional and very good. We had delicious starters, including a very good tarama salad and dolmadakia with rice and minced meat filling, which you don't get that often these days—very good. Afterward, we ordered the sea bass. We've rarely had sea bass this good: juicy, crispy, fried to perfection. A delight 👌

Unfortunately, it's declined somewhat over the years. I've been there many times and always impressed, but unfortunately, they couldn't maintain that standard on my last visit. I was a bit disappointed. I had to wait a long time, some orders didn't arrive, and the food wasn't seasoned well. A real shame. In the end, the waiters just made excuses. (We always do that, saying the restaurant was full, etc.)

Our regular visits to DELPHI are always a special pleasure. The tasteful decor and friendly service provide the perfect setting for enjoying our favorite dishes, grilled sea bream or grilled lamb skewers. The quality and perfect preparation of these dishes are unsurpassed.

Auch der Service war top: Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung, die wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen können. I was at the Delphi Restaurant in Aschaffenburg today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was outstanding – the grilled fish in particular was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. We ordered it to our home. The driver was the friendliest! The food was, as always, incredibly delicious—unfortunately, the crab legs aren't what they used to be... the garlic sauce is still the best, but the crab meat felt like it had been roughly shredded and stuck together. It had a very sticky texture.

Das Lokal liegt unterhalb vom Dalberg. Parkplätze sind vorhanden und man kann auch oberhalb am Altstadtfriedhof parken. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Der Service ist immer nett und aufmerksam. Die Speiskarte hat für jeden was, ob Fisch, Fleisch oder Vegetarisch. Das Essen ist geschmacklich super lecker und reichhaltig. Wir kommen sehr gerne her und fühlen uns immer gut bedient.

Food was okay. Service bad We were brought the wrong drinks twice for 2 people and 2 drinks. Afterwards, people complained loudly at the counter that we hadn't given a tip. Guests at the neighboring table heard this and were outraged. I like to tip when there is a service, but not like this.

Pizza delivery people overtaking from the right in urban areas at 80 km/h? Very sporty. Privately, you can endanger people's lives by driving, but I also find it very suspicious in the name of a company. - then you're a Greek, I couldn't take that into account while driving, but this behavior in traffic is absolutely inappropriate and dangerous, especially in the name of a company!

Went to Delphi for the first time on Sunday and not the last time, great service, delicious food, very nice atmosphere. At the reception there was a delicious ouzo drink and food was served quickly. Many thanks to the nice staff and a delicious greeting to the kitchen.

For me, the Delphi is the best Greek restaurant in Aschaffenburg and the surrounding area. The meat is wonderfully tender, liver melts in your mouth and gyros are crispy but not dry. It doesn't get any better. The service is always extremely friendly. I look forward to visiting every time!

When it gets busy, the service drops significantly 🥴. Orders are forgotten and no attention is paid to them. It started when the reservation was forgotten. Then the side salad was served as a starter. When only one main course was served, but there were two guests there, you weren't surprised... when you asked where the second plate was... "oh, two...". You also had to be asked to pay twice. Food is ok, but nothing special (fits the price structure); When it's full, it's also very loud...

We have been customers for a long time, but after the last experience we will never come back! We ordered starters which honestly weren't that good and a pass meat which really left us feeling sorry for us. Not to mention the poor service they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible! I even turned on the vacuum cleaner while we ate dinner. Never worse!!!

I've had Greek food many times in my life...but this was the best so far. I would have liver with gyros. Gyros was wonderfully crispy... The liver had grilled flavors and was tender. The quantity was more than sufficient. In my opinion an absolute recommendation.

Wir waren mit der Familie am ersten Weihnachtstag zum Mittagessen dort. Essen war wie fast immer recht gut. Was uns leider gar nicht gefallen hat - wir bekamen keinen Ouzo mehr. Diesen gab es eigentlich immer (waren bestimmt schon 50 Mal dort). Nach dem bezahlen beim Kellner holten wir die Bedienung noch Mal an den Tisch. Uns wurde gesagt "machen wir jetzt nach dem Essen". Und es tut ihr Leid, das es vergessen wurde. Ouzo kommt gleich. Nach weiteren 20 Minuten sind wir dann ohne Ouzo bekommen zu haben gegangen. An der Theke haben wir uns noch für den nicht erhaltenen Ouzo bedankt. Wir fühlten uns schon etwas verarscht!

I can't understand the many positive reviews, especially for the friendly service. We had our favorite table reserved for 7:30 p.m. The employee who greeted us was obviously overwhelmed by trying to find our reservation, not to mention our favorite table. But that wasn't necessary because there were still a number of tables available (the restaurant used to be packed at this time a week before Christmas). When we asked her politely if she could light the candle for us, she was visibly annoyed. We had to wait more than an hour for the food after asking twice, even though the restaurant wasn't nearly full. She didn't even want to know how we liked the food. Otherwise I would have told her that my gyros had a lot of fatty meat, some of which I spat out because I didn't feel like chewing on the fat. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend the restaurant and we will not go there again.

For several years now, I have been going to the Greek restaurant Delphi, Aschaffenburg every Christmas time. I appreciate the nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The food is good, the service is nice. The last time I was there was on December 13th, 2024 and left the restaurant very satisfied. :D

We first stood at the door for 10 minutes and then we had to sit at a table with 11 people that was only designed for 8 for about an hour until the table next to us was free. But otherwise great restaurant and very good food.
