Always happy to go back, the best Greek restaurant in Freising for decades!

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The gyro was dry, as if it had been served yesterday. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was quick, even though we were there on a Saturday night without a reservation. It was also unpleasant that our clothes smelled so strongly of food that we even had to wash our jackets.

The lunch menu during the week offers reasonable prices. It's best to reserve a table on weekends. The food is always very good and tasty.

Very good food! The Dolmaldes with grape leaves is very unique, the combination of different spices is marvelous! The bread is crispy outside and soft inside! Will definitely go here again!

The food is really good, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly, but occasionally seems a bit unsure. The decor, while kitschy, certainly has its own charm. The small beer garden is particularly nice. The prices are on the high side, and unfortunately, there's hardly any parking.

Hello, There were three of us. The food was very good. I highly recommend the fish platter! The price for three people, €78.00, was absolutely reasonable. And ouzo for the guests. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

The garlic baguette is not recommended, as it tastes mostly of burnt bread. It cost a whopping €4.80. We had two of them, and both were simply unappetizing. This kind of thing shouldn't leave the kitchen. However, you can easily scrape the baguettes with a knife, and the waiter chuckled as he walked past when he saw us doing it. As a farewell, the waiter offered us a shot of schnapps on the house, which we unfortunately never received, even after waiting 20 minutes.

Unfortunately not recommended. The waiters were friendly and the beer garden was nice, but the food wasn't good. Gyros was dry, but really dry, could have been from yesterday. Liver was fresh, but too thin and therefore dry. We also waited a long time for food. Well, as I said, we don't go there anymore except for a beer.

Had ordered a table for 4 people for Sunday lunchtime, it wouldn't have been necessary, there was plenty of choice. Of course, I can't really estimate how things will behave in the summer, especially in the beer garden. Very nice reception, good selection, especially not so huge that you can't decide. Drinks and food came very quickly. We chose the restaurant as a starting point before we went to the airport, it is very close to the train station.

The furnishings and ambience seem a little old-fashioned and are visibly showing their age, but that is precisely what gives the Delphi its own charm. It's a place you'll want to return to - not because of any great sophistication, but because of the honest, down-to-earth cuisine and the warm service. Not a “star Greek”, but a good, recommended restaurant where you feel welcome and are always happy to come back.

In my opinion the best Greek restaurant, I've only been going here for 2 years and it stays that way!!!!

I didn't feel welcome here. The waiter didn't smile once, in fact he didn't say a single word. The highlight was that he took my things and put them away without comment. Price-performance ratio was also inadequate, I was used to something different, especially when it came to Greek restaurants. Apparently, not every guest has to be satisfied.  All in all disappointing and I won't be back.

There's nothing left to eat at 9:10 p.m.? Oh what! You don't need my money. Me neither.

Um 21:10 gibt es nichts mehr zu essen? Ach was! Ihr habt mein Geld nicht nötig. Ich euch auch nicht. Noch nicht mal wurde mir eine Kleinigkeit, selbst kalt, angeboten! Miserabel

Absolutely top and recommended, the service was so on point, sometimes everything even went a bit too quickly but that's complaining at a high level, amazing food, super tasty, service brilliant, great ambience We are thrilled and will definitely come back more often Just another Greek that is worth it

We were scared away as guests... really outrageous. The two of us arrived at 6:15 p.m. without a reservation. They said yes and “by 7:50 p.m., they would like to come with a reservation at 8 p.m.” All right, no problem for us! At 6:58 p.m. they cleared our table, just as I was allowed to put my fork on the plate, offered us alcohol and wanted us out again with a note that we had made a reservation. We said we still had a good hour…. Reluctantly we were allowed to stay. At around 7:15 p.m. we wanted to order another drink, which was refused with the reference to reservation! We then left at 7:20pm after apparently being unwelcome as guests! We have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant. I was there once and never again!

We went there spontaneously for lunch and were served fabulously. There is a lunch menu with a very good selection at a reasonable price. The food was tasty and the portion was plentiful. It should also be noted that the calamari is homemade and super fresh. Top

We have been here for a long time. The prices are no longer that low, but here you get something for your money. It should be reserved in advance. Since Freising is slowly becoming more interesting again, we will definitely come back.

Been there a few times. Food is authentic and tastes very good. Service is quick. Servings are bigger than average.

We had lunch at Delphi in Freising. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all, except for the fries. Unfortunately, the fried eggplant and zucchini were warmed up in the microwave. Unfortunately, the warm starter plate was not freshly prepared. The salad is prepared with a sugar dressing and has nothing to do with Greek salad. The gyro just tasted dry. The food arrived in 10 minutes! Unfortunately, simply serving warmed food is not possible. Shame about the money. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

Nice place Food is ok like 6/10 nothing overwhelming but not bad either. Solid food for the price, just slightly seasoned. Service was ok, the food came relatively slowly for the lunchtime business. 10-15 minutes after ordering is quite slow in the lunch business, especially if the restaurant is only half full.

I was there as an individual. The restaurant was too narrow for my taste. I only received an appetizer at the end upon request. Many in the restaurant automatically received it with the bill. I found the food delicious

Good place to eat. We have just tried their Biergarten but it is a really nice place to sit down with family or friends. The food is good. Me and my wife always share a main dish when we get there, and we always leave full but with not much leftovers and without feeling like you need assistance to walk to the car

Nobody answers the phone!! I called 13 times within 30 minutes, it was busy, 2 minutes later no one answered the phone. Really bad, I'm really disappointed.

Unfortunately, Taramas is too potatoy. The meat dishes are good. I missed the acidity of the lemon in the lemon sauce for the dolmades. Nice for dining outside in summer.

Great food, very friendly staff

We have been customers at Delphi for over 30 years and we are always amazed at how good the food is and the portions are generous. The waitresses are always friendly and accommodating, we can only recommend the Delphi.

Everytime we come here, we are greeted with smiles and small talk. The food is great and the atmosphere as well. I. Summer you can sit outside and for winter there is a closed winter garden. It's one of our favorites to visit.

Had dinner at Delphi while washing my laundry at the laundromat next door. The food was surprising good. The seafood dish I ordered was very fresh. Will definitely visit this restaurant again and try different dishes when in Freising.

For me, Delphi is one of the best restaurants in Freising. (it is even in my top 3 list) The hospitality of the staff, the service, food, atmosphere, everything is awesome and it is a must-try in Freising!

One of these restaurants that I never go to is also a bit away from me, I rarely come to the train station. Now my wife and I come home from "night of the proms" and have the idea "you should try this Greek one too". And actually great, nice ambience, careful service, also quick, and really good, tasty food.

Very good food in a cozy restaurant. The price was okay, but the waiters were hardly to be seen.

The food was ok - as you would expect from Greek, but not exceptionally good. Unfortunately the service was pretty grumpy. That actually dampened the mood a bit. Otherwise the restaurant is very nicely decorated inside. We probably won't go again anytime soon.

Wir haben heute das erste Mal etwas dort bestellt und sind begeistert. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die drei vegetarischen Gerichte kann man auch vegan bestellen, was ich sehr gut finde.

Good food and really good attention.

Obwohl ich alleine dort war, fühlte ich mich sehr wohl und hätte Urlaubsfeeling. Gut öffentlich erreichbar sehr netter schneller Service und gutes Essen.

Ein tolles Lokal. Essen ist spitze, vor allem die Bratkartoffeln und das Tsatsiki ist spitze. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Familiäres Lokal bei dem der Chef selber sehr sehr lecker kocht. Alle sind sehr freundlich und der Biergarten ist einfach wunderschön. Ich besuche dieses Lokal seit mehr als 35 Jahren und bin immer noch begeistert.

Wir waren heute nach einiger Zeit wieder im Delphi. Sehr gutes Essen, frisch, geschmacklich top und ansprechend angerichtet. Gebackene Aubergine als Vorspeise Mousaka und einen Kretateller Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A hely nagyon szép belül születés nap, partyk kiváló hely ide, mi csak két kávéra ültünk be, azért csak 3 csillag mivel érezhető volt a pincérek hangulatán és ahogy beszéltek velünk és ahogy viselkedtek velünk, hogy számukra nem tetszett hogy csak 2 kávéra mentünk be. Első alkalommal jártunk itt és tényleg gyönyörű a hely még görögül is köszöntem és csinosan felvoltunk öltözve, mégis lekezelő módon szolgáltak ki minket és még borravalót is hagytam ott ennek ellenére ezért csak 3 csillag.

Spitze! Von A-Z ein perfektes griechisches Restaurant in Freising. Toller Garten unter Bäumen, super Service, leckeres Essen, auch vegetarisch. Viel Hunger mitbringen, die Portionen sind reichlich. Wir lieben es!

Wir waren schon öfter hier Essen, es war immer großartig im Geschmack und sehr freundlicher Service. Außerdem bestellen wir regelmäßig Essen zum Abholen. Natürlich wie immer lecker, aber was man besonders hervorheben muss: Anruf bis Abholung 20 Minuten. Das ist wirklich top. Wir kommen und bestellen wieder!

Schönes Restaurant mit einem grünen Biergarten. Hier hält man es auch im Sommer gut aus. Das Essen ist gut und der Service auch! Kann ich gut weiterempfehlen.

Super Essen, tolle Portionen supernettes Personal

Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist ganz okay. Leider war die Vorspeisen Platte sehr einseitig da hat mir die Auswahl an Pasten gefählt waren nur zwei drauf. Auch bei den Oliven mit Peperoni war eine fertig Salat sauce drauf genauso bei dem Beilagen Salat was ich bei einem Griechen nicht verstehen kann da sie ein sehr tolles Oliven Öl haben.

We had a canceled flight so got a bonus night and ate here. The staff is so friendly and the food was delicious! We ate in the cute courtyard that has a great atmosphere. We had gyro and pork with mushroom sauce. It came with salads and bread beforehand. The portions were generous and we loved everything! Highly recommended.

Das Ambiente ist ein bisschen Retro, also so wie Griechen früher eingerichtet waren. Aber das interessiert spätestens wenn die Teller auf dem Tisch stehen nicht mehr. So gutes Essen, lecker war es, gute Qualität und Preis-Leistung hat absolut gepasst. ❤️ Sehr netter Service! Wir überlegen zukünftig von München nach Freising zu fahren, um beim Griechen zu essen!

Recently I placed a pick up order consisting of grilled peppers with garlic bread and a salad with halloumi cheese, pita bread and tzatziki. The food was good and I would reorder in this greek restaurant!

The food is delicious, the place is very cozy and the service is also good. Food is around 15-20€. They have vegetarian options.
