Delicious food, friendly service, unfortunately a bit noisy outside on the street

We enjoyed our wedding dinner at Deja Vu, and what can we say? Everything was perfect. The coordination beforehand was incredibly straightforward, and everything from the table decorations to the menu and the food itself met our expectations. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves, and Mario and his team are simply fantastic hosts—we felt right at home! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and the value for money is unbeatable. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back :)

Both the goat cheese salad and the homemade beetroot ravioli are delicious; the service is also very friendly and attentive.

Fantastic service, great food. Very accommodating to families. We went with 6 and 2 years old and they got toys for wait and generally friendly service, extra soup because they liked it. Many dishes can be ordered as a kids portion. Big recommendation!

Very nice waiters, nice restaurant. Some fine dining very well done. I did have a tendon in my steak but it was immediately remade without any discussions and it was perfect afterwards. Price/performance was absolutely fine. We'd love to come back.

Truly incredibly delicious food, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. Particularly noteworthy is the very extensive selection of whiskey, rum, gin, and other spirits. Highly recommended, especially for the classic ambiance.

The tapas starters for 4 are great! Afterwards we had braised beef and ravioli stuffed with lobster - an experience. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wine list is appealing. Highly recommended!

We celebrated Mario's 90th birthday at Deja Vu. All we can say is that it was simply exceptionally good. All our guests and friends were thrilled. The food was great, the service was great and Chef Mario was great. It was a successful birthday, we'll be back.

I don't like reviewing Déja Vu because it's not easy to get a place anyway. But - it's a great restaurant with a very empathetic and personable boss (Mario) and really delicious food. We are and will remain regular guests and will reserve a little earlier in the future! ;-) (Gerti E.)

We went to Deja Vu for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. The food and service were great. We especially liked the great wine selection. We also found the atmosphere cozy and inviting you to linger for a longer period of time. We'll definitely be back!

Nos encontraron una mesa para cuatro en una noche ajetreada sin una reserva previa, que fue de gran ayuda. El interior del restaurante está lleno de encanto y carácter de estilo antiguo. El personal era excelente, rápidamente nos preguntaron si necesitábamos bebidas y luego nos dieron tiempo para elegir en el menú. La comida era excelente, recomiendo la langosta ravioli y el plato principal de carne de res. Después de nuestra comida Mario se tomó la molestia de caminar fuera con nosotros y nos señaló en dirección a algunos buenos bares para terminar nuestra noche. Todo el personal era muy servicial, ya que no hablamos alemán y traducimos para nosotros, gracias.

Pleasant offerings and good food. The quantity could be a little larger. High prices, but the food is also worth it. I'll be back.

Top service, top ambience, top cuisine. There's nothing to complain about here, but of course you have to compensate accordingly. The owner can recommend the perfect wine for every course. Every Bonner should have eaten here!

Very nice atmosphere, very attentive service, very friendly owner, great food - I'm a self-confessed fan. I love it when you're treated as a guest and not as someone else. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is worth it.

Food very tasty. Service could be a little more attentive. But: The pricing of the dishes in the starter version is impossible. I had (2!!!) ravioli with porcini mushrooms as a starter for 17 euros, as a main course another guest at our table got 5 (!!!) ravioli for 22 euros. Quote: “The boss sets the prices”. In my opinion, that doesn't work at all.

We stopped in late in the evening with a small group and dogs for a nightcap and were given a very friendly welcome. Water bowls were immediately brought for the dogs. The service was super friendly and the cocktails were delicious and inexpensive. We'd love to come back.

Do yourself a favor and try the fish soup — easily the best I've had in Bonn! The service was excellent and the menu is extremely inviting, I will definitely eat here again.

Medium steaks were all well done. Bad service, sat for ages with empty drinks. You get a total of 12 (!) fries with the €30 steak. A meal was prepared incorrectly, meaning a person later had to eat all alone. The prices in this restaurant do not match the lack of professionalism.

The food was excellent and the service was very friendly, attentive and had a sense of humor. The location is very nice with an outdoor terrace and an attractive restaurant. We recommend traveling by public transport. I'd love to come back.

We have been to this restaurant at least 3 times, and every time we had a great experience. The staffs are friendly, great food, clean restaurant which makes an amazing experience. I would go again and again there . 😊

Exceptional food that brings the Mediterranean to Bonn. I have sometimes eaten worse in star restaurants. However, you should bring some time with you and plan 2-3 hours for an evening. However, time flies just as quickly in the well-stocked wine shop.

No, sorry. The owner seems to be on a high. Without constant advertising (for example on a continuous loop during Bonngehtessen) the restaurant would certainly only be half full. For the high prices we want to eat properly. If we want to go on a diet, we prefer to fast.

Déjà Vu is our favorite restaurant in Bonn and we come from the Sauerland every few months to eat here. The menu is extremely varied and versatile and the boss Mario and his employees are warm, on the ball and simply likeable. There is always a good drink recommendation and, especially when it comes to spirits, a selection that we haven't found anywhere else (from gin from Tinto, stored in a porto barrel, to bergamot liqueur to the unusual Vermuth from the region). We'd love to come back again and again :)

The drinks are really tasty and of good quality with good value for money, my favorite is the Long Gin Basil Smash. I've always found the appetizers and the tapas platter very good, as well as the lobster ravioli. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

Valentine's Day in Déjà Vu at Mario's - an all-round wonderful experience in a dignified atmosphere: fantastic cuisine, delicious wines, very friendly and attentive service. Culinary passion is at work here! My lady and I really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Wir waren gestern Abend da und haben super speisen können. Es gab erlesene Gerichte und aufmerksames Personal. Das Restaurant besitzt eine sehr ansprechende und ruhige Einrichtung. Ein großes Lob nochmals an die Köchin/den Koch.

Das Restaurant hat eine gute Lage und ist daher gut zu Fuß aus der Altstadt zu erreichen. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, vor allem die Stühle bzw. Sessel mit Kissen sind super bequem! Darauf lässt sich das sehr leckere Essen in jedem Fall genießen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Es war früh und recht leer als wir dort waren, daher konnten wir uns über den Service nicht beklagen. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, evtl. ein ganz klein wenig zu dunkel Die Nudelgerichte waren lecker, die Muscheln etwas zu salzig und mehr in Öl- als in Weinsud, das Brot vorweg fanden wir gar nicht gut, da es eher an einen Blatz erinnerte (weich, süßlich), der dazu gereichte Aufstrich äußerst unspektakulär. Den vorweg gereichten Gruß aus der Küche fanden wir erfreulich und gut.

Es war hervorragend. Das Essen, der Wein, das Personal...wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir ware das erste Mal hier und sind sehr angenehm überrascht worden. Essen sehr lecker, Personal sehr freundlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Parkplatzsituation vor Ort ist leider etwas schwierig, ansonsten ein gelungener Abend!

Großartig! Ich war vor unzähligen Jahren da, als es noch in anderer Hand war, damals eher Brasserie. Heute portugiesisch inspiriert, aber cross-over Küche. Wir sind spontan hin, und obwohl gut gebucht fand sich noch ein Tisch für zwei. Service, absolut aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen: hervorragend! Polpo-Salat, erinnert an Ceviche, unglaublich gut. Die Fischsuppe, ein Traum. Ravioli mit Wild ebenso. Ergänzt durch eine hervorragende Weinauswahl. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal hier.

Wir waren zu Weihnachten dort essen. Suppe (Möhren-Ingwer Suppe) war sehr lecker, die Hauptspeise (Ravioli Rote Bete) auch aber für die Menge für 20 Euro schon recht teuer. Auch der Nachtisch (Pasteies de Nata) war super und da stimmt der Preis auch. Fazit: Vorspeise und Nachspeise Preis-Leistung gut. Hauptspeise leider nicht wirklich, etwas teuer für so kleine Mengen.

Nettes Personal. Begrenzte Auswahl mit leckeren Gerichten. Gehobene Küche. Klare Empfehlung.

Habe vor Ort gegessen sehr freundliches Personal

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal bei Mario ,und es übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service und hervorragende Speisen.

VORSICHT! Ich hatte dort ein Praktikum gemacht die Köche haben deren Fingern statt ein Löffel zum abschmecken benutzt! Es herrscht dort auch allgemein keine Hygiene!

Alles in allem ein schöner Besuch. Sehr schönes Ambiente und toller Service. Speisen sind gut, wir kommen wieder um weitere Gerichte zu testen.

Ein sehr hübsch eingerichtetes Lokal mit einer großen Getränke- und wohlüberlegten kleinen Speisekarte. Es gab - obwohl wir zum ersten Mal da waren - einen Gruß aus der Küche und der Chef war mehrmals bei uns am Tisch. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen (Hauptspeise und Nachtisch) war sehr sehr lecker und aromatisch sowie sättigend.

Bei Mario ist es immer toll. Bald 18 Jahre kennen wir ihn und seine Gastronomiereise.

Ich bin ein großer Fan von diesem Restaurant!!! Mario ist ein wirklich ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, immer nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend und dazu kennt er sich bei Weinen und Speisen gut aus! Sein Personal ist auch immer gut! Mein Favorit ist die Tapas-Platte, immer eine gelungene Mischung. Und danach ist manchmal noch Platz für eine weitere Kleinigkeit. Die Azswahl an seinen und anderen Getränken ist klasse und das Bistro-Ambuente einfach schön!!!! Immer wieder gerne!

Absolut volle Punktzahl, bin kein großer Fan spanischer und portugiesischer Küche, aber das hier hat wirklich klasse geschmeckt. Hervorragend gekocht aber immer noch etwas Bodenständig. Super Produkte. Das beste Portogiesischer Restaurant was ich bisher besucht habe im weiten Raum Bonn.

Service is perfect and friendly! Food have really good quality! A good point: the tables are not that close together as in other restaurants, so you can have your "privacy" without having to listen to your neighbours. They prime quality over quantity, and something exceptional nowadays.

Exzellentes Essen, gehobene Küche. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Großer Pluspunkt ist meiner Meinung auch, dass die Tische nicht zu eng beieinander stehen, sodass noch Luft zum atmen besteht und man auch nicht von der Geräuschkulisse des Nachbartisches gestört wird. Zum anderen ist der Service sehr aufmerksam und macht einen guten Job. Gerade die Bedienung mit der Brille war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Viele Restaurants sparen am Service, doch hier weiss man spätestens, dass es neben der guten Küche auch darauf ankommt. Kurze Rede, langer Sinn. Bestes Restaurant in Bonn.

Mega gutes Essen und toller Service.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, das Déjà-Vu in Bonn zum ersten Mal zu besuchen und ich war wirklich beeindruckt! Wir sind extra aus Essen angereist, um hier zu speisen und es hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Unser Abend begann mit einem sehr herzlichen Empfang und wir wurden zu unserem Tisch geführt. Wir waren zu dritt und alle unsere Gerichte waren hervorragend. Die Vorspeisen waren top und die Empfehlung des Weins hat unser Essen perfekt abgerundet. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und das Personal äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Abend im Déjà-Vu und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an das Team für einen unvergesslichen Abend! 5/5 Sterne!❤️
