Had the California Poke Bowl again. Super tasty. As always, the team was friendly and in a good mood. Ordering went well again. Ordered and paid for in advance via the app. Notification on your cell phone and picked up quickly.

My favourite restaurant in Bielefeld. As a person who’s tried almost everything on the menu, this place won’t disappoint you if you want a healthy, balanced and delicious meal. Not only their dishes are delicious, but also the juices, smoothies and desserts are definitely great. Also, the Turkish girl who works there is so kind and cheerful, which contributes to the warm atmosphere of the place❤️

I recently ordered a chicken bowl to take out. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this bowl at all. I seriously wonder who will be full with this portion and I have eaten bowls that taste much better. Personally, I won't eat here again in the future.

Delicious dishes, went very quickly. The ambience is nice, but you don't necessarily stay here longer than to eat. You have to do the service yourself so it's perfect 😅💞

Stopped there for the second time today, on one of my sporadic visits to Bielefeld. The first time I had the vegan falafel bowl, today a vegan curry with salad. All the dishes were really very good, so it definitely won't be my last visit here.

Needless to say, the food is incredibly tasty and filling. It's self-explanatory. The price of the dishes speaks for the quality! I've been a customer there for years. And it's addictive. Unfortunately I don't know what the gentleman there is called, but he is always super friendly and accommodating. Just like the entire team! Always a pleasure.

My go to place for the lunch break. Fast, reliable, personal and simply good quality food. Also worth noting: Even though I've eaten here over 100 times in the last few years, I've never had anything go wrong with my order. Apparently a lot is being done right here.

I'm a big Dean & David friend. Very tasty salads and bowls. Everything is always very fresh. Everyone in the branch is also very friendly and competent. My favorite is the Chicken Vitality Salad

Why only 4 stars, I still leave room for improvement ☺️ I was here for the second time today and ordered the current Melon Summer Salad, actually didn't really pay attention to what was in it😁 but it was a surprise, it was excellent and tasty. Had a really nice full BOWL, my lunch and dinner in one. Price-performance is acceptable for €15.45, it was lovingly prepared. Staff is also friendly. a small wilted leaf of lettuce, my goodness, it happens, leaf lettuce is very susceptible 😉. Ambience, clean and quiet. Staff in the kitchen appear structured and know their process. The owner sometimes looks a bit strict or very focused instead of friendly when new guests come in. I'll be back 👍

My favorite shop for bowls, salads or curries! As an athlete, you often try to combine the taste with a healthy meal and it works here every time! There are even nutritional tables for every dish, which makes it possible for me to eat here at any time, even when I'm on a diet. Absolute recommendation for every health-conscious person who likes to eat delicious food!

I got my lunch there for myself and my work colleague a few days ago. The bowls were super tasty and the smoothie and cold-pressed juice were also great. There was a small mistake with my order. So we all stopped by after work to let us know. The employees were very customer oriented. Today I got my dinner and it is absolutely perfect. Can really recommend it. Ordering via the app with the desired time makes it even more pleasant. Keep it up. If bowls then from you 💜

The vegan and regular chicken teriyaki bowl was really delicious. 1 star deducted because I think that given the price of the bowl you could have put a little more chicken in it.

I've been going to Dean and David on Jahnplatz regularly for lunch for over a year. The food is always totally fresh, healthy and delicious! What I think makes this branch particularly stand out is the staff. All employees are always very courteous, friendly and super personable.

There was chicken in my vegan bowl. The owner claims that it was a planted chicken. Which of course is possible. I showed understanding and always remained friendly, but the owner distorted the whole situation and accused me of being rude to my colleague and not giving her the opportunity to describe the situation on the phone. On the contrary, she expressed her understanding and offered me a new bowl, but because I didn't want a new one, I was allowed to pick up the money, she said, and we hung up. Nobody had bothered to explain anything. As a vegan, I could react completely differently. I kept my calm, but unfortunately the owner was so unfriendly and turned the situation around. I think anyone who is vegan or eats halal or kosher for religious reasons can understand the situation. I was shocked, nothing more and nothing less, and tried to understand the situation. Why is this shop not suitable for vegans? 1. The employee (with dark hair) touched the non-vegan food with her gloves and she went into the salad bowl with the same gloves. 2. Chicken and halumi are being fried on the right side of the stove, vegetables are also being fried and there is an open gap between the partition. When asked, the employee said that fat can flow from the chicken to the vegetables. (cannot be excluded at all) For me there are other reasons but I think the 2 outweigh them for now :) I was offered a new bowl, but I preferred to listen to my gut feeling and have my money back. The owner twisted the whole situation and blamed me 🤷🏻‍♀️

The visit was on June 7th, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. The curry beef was ordered as a menu with a drink and a side salad for €16.45. The portion was very meager, the rice was placed in the middle and the curry on the edge. The curry was too salty for my taste and consisted mostly of carrots and very few other vegetables. I've eaten there several times and have had mostly positive experiences, but unfortunately this visit was less pleasant.

Perfect place for lunch! Crunchy chicken and crunchy beef bowls were delicious. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't eat much vegetables, liked it.

Very friendly place with quite patient staff and very good food. You can also eat alone there. It works very quickly and is also very appetizingly prepared!

We like to eat here. You have to expect around €12 per person. But it's worth it to us. Everything is clean and you are served quickly. I.e. you pay your order, get a radio receiver and go to the table. When the receiver flashes, you go to the counter and get the food. After 12 it got really crowded.

Edit: I was contacted immediately and the situation was clarified. Service top! Thank you Dean & David, I will visit you again soon. :) You can actually do better. I have often eaten your halloumi salad with the pomegranate dressing, but this time I was disappointed. The avocado was not edible and the mint leaves were no longer really fresh. That simply shouldn't be the case for the price. I really hope that was just an oversight, otherwise I enjoy being with you.

Das Dean&David in Bielefeld ist definitiv ein gastronomisches Highlight! Das Restaurant bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an gesunden und frischen Speisen, die sowohl köstlich als auch nahrhaft sind. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und modern, perfekt für ein entspanntes Essen oder ein schnelles Mittagessen. Die Salate sind frisch zubereitet und die Dressings sind einfach köstlich. Auch die Suppen und Bowls sind sehr empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch noch schöner macht. Insgesamt ein großartiger Ort für gesundes Essen in Bielefeld! Immer wieder gerne, komme ich zum Essen hierhin.

Ontzettend aardig personeel om uit te zoeken welke gerechten glutenvrij zijn. De bowl was erg lekker. Ook terug gegaan voor het diner en een vegan curry gekozen. Smaakte prima.

sehr enttäuschend.Meine Bestellung war nicht vollständig. Mittags ist das Telefon nicht besetzt und es gibt keine Möglichkeit euch zu kontaktieren. Und nu? Fühle mich einwenig veräppelt. Das Brot musste ich leider wegwerfen, was ich wirklich ungerne tue! Es war steinhart und trocken. Da ihr gerade erst geöffnet hattet, muss das wohl von gestern sein. Bei einem Preis von knapp 15€ für einen Salat erwarte ich mehr.

War am 01.08.2023 dort zum Mittag-Essen. 1a Service gingen auf meine Allergien ein und waren sehr flexibel bei der Änderung der Zutaten für mein Gericht. Zu dem hat es auch sehr lecker geschmeckt. Vor allem die SesamKomme gerne wieder!! Macht weiter so 👍

Egal ob "To Go" oder als Lieferbestellung: Bis jetzt war jede Bestellung (wir haben in der Vergangenheit öfters für unsere Kanzlei bestellt) ein voller Erfolg, super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Ich gehe gerne zu Restaurants, aber es gibt kaum ein Restaurant, wo man so lecker essen kann und sich danach sehr gut fühlen. Außerdem die Atmosphäre ist immer ganz angenehm und entspannt. Gute Musik, beste Service, alles wirklich gut durchdacht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Einige Freunde von mir lieben das schon auch. Nach mindestens 100 regelmäßigen Besuchen der Filiale am Jahnplatz Bielefeld, möchte ich hier weitergeben, daß es sich in vielerlei Hinsicht um ein Ausnahme-Restaurant handelt, aus meiner Sicht Champions-League und in dieser Weise kaum ein zweites Mal zu finden. Langfristig gleichbleibend vortreffliche Qualität der Speisen, konstantes Mitarbeiterteam-auch in hektischen Stoßzeiten so freundlich, wie ich es selbst maximal aufbieten könnte. Ich vermute, daß sich Wesen, Arbeitsweise und Leitungsstil des tollen Filialleiters auf das gesamte Team übertragt. Bravo und Danke!

Hier gib es viel Auswahl zu einem guten Preis, das Essen ist sehr lecker das Personal ist nett und freundlich und das Ambiente ist toll.

Dean and David haben wirklich leckere und gesunde Salate sowie Bowls. Ich hatte einen Salmon Spring Salad der wirklich gut geschmeckt hat. Der Preis ist mit knapp 14€ doch sehr hoch. Nach meiner Fahrradtour jedoch genau das Richtige. Der Laden ist sehr klein aber nett eingerichtet. Wenn die Preise nicht so hoch wären, würde ich sicherlich öfters hier essen.

Fleischgerichte sind der Hammer, aber vegetarisch oder vegan, egal was ist praktisch nur Salat

Avocado chicken bowl hat leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt: der Salat war nicht frisch und erdig. Das Huhn hat ebenfalls alt und billig geschmeckt. Bin wirklich enttäuscht. Ist das Geld nicht wert!

Nadine war super freundlich und hat mich gut beraten. Das Curry schmeckt sehr gut und wurde schnell zubereitet.

MITTLERE PREISKLASSE Wir essen hier sehr gerne zu Mittag. Es ist immer frisch und lecker. Jeden Tag gibt es andere Currys, es kann also passieren, dass man sein Lieblingscurry Mal nicht bekommt. Unbedingt auch Mal ein anderes Curry probieren! Wraps, Salate, Suppen ... Alles sehr frisch. Zur Mittagszeit ist es voll (ca. 12-13 Uhr). Vorbestellen und abholen geht auch. Sehr nette MitarbeiterInnen. Es gibt Chicken, Beef, Sea, Veggie und Vegan. Update 03/2023: das Chicken wurde ausgetauscht. Ist unserer Meinung nach nicht mehr so lecker wie vorher. Wirklich schade. Sieht jetzt aus wie aus der Verpackung, statt frisch.
