My salad was pure green salad with 2 slices of potatoes, 2 grapes and 2-3 pieces of walnut. There was also no bread left, the walnuts already tasted old. Never had such a bad salad.

I bought a salmon, edamame and pomegranate wrap. After the first bite, which contained a tiny bit of salmon and three edamame beans, all that was left was iceberg lettuce. And a pomegranate seed. I feel seriously ripped off. According to the motto “they’re just passing guests, they won’t come back anyway and won’t notice until they’re on the next train.”

Good selection, fresh and not as greasy as all the other stuff in the station

The first and last time I took something with me... absolute impudence €5.45 for half a warp with salmon, the salad was already wilted and brown... Inedible!!!!!

I've often gotten a salad from Dean&David, today for the first and last time in Nuremberg Central Station. The lettuce was either wilted or brown. That had nothing to do with freshness! Advantage of a branch in the train station: if in doubt, the customer leaves before he realizes what he got for his money...

First time hair in the salad. Second time salad that tastes already fermented. In general, the wraps just didn't taste good. Dry. And way too expensive for that. Absolutely bad experience.

Bored saleswoman sells far too expensive half wrap with supposed filling. Almost nothing except lettuce in a (half!) wrap for almost 5 euros? At first I thought a wrap was 2 halves. Unfortunately it's not worth the money!

I used to buy something healthy from Dean&David at the train station. Nowadays you spend over 10€ for a bowl that has at most 40% of what it used to contain and I don't think anyone can get enough of it. In addition, everything was cold and no longer fresh, unlike before. I'll never do it again and I have to say that I'm actually not that fussy about food...

Salad was moldy, just disgusting and naughty!!

Heute Lachsbowl beim Zwischenstopp am Hauptbahnhof in Nürnberg erworben. Nach dem Öffnen schlug mir der Geruch von verdorbenen Fisch entgegen. Die Salatblätter braun und schleimig, die Tomaten wabbelig und matschig, die Bowl war nicht essbar, im Gegenteil - gesundheitsgefährdend. Der Inhalt der Bowl war wahrscheinlich mehr als einen Tag alt. Sah aus, wie vom Wochenende übrig geblieben. Wenn ich die anderen Erfahrungen hier lese - eigentlich wäre das eine Meldung für's Gesundheitsamt. *Würg. (schade, dass man hier keine Videos hoch laden kann)

Everything worked perfectly, we had our coffees after 2 minutes. Good for a quick coffee when changing trains.

Dean&David used to be better - I ordered a chicken bowl and the contents were pretty disappointing. The bowl consists of 80% black rice, the amount of chicken was OK, 1/4 avocado (also OK) but only 1 sad leaf of coriander, five cherry tomatoes, five spinach leaves and so-called "salsa" - but otherwise everything without any salt, pepper or anything prepared with other spices. Plus a brownie as dessert: a total of €15 for a rather bland dish (despite the salsa), which appears to be healthy but leaves something to be desired in terms of nutrition... (The balance would be 1/2 plate of vegetables/salad, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbohydrates). Brownie was good but leftover wasn't really worth it.

I bought vegan pudding and cappuccino. Cappuccino was ok, the pudding was very sour and probably expired or broken. I told the staff and they argued with me and offered no compensation. Now I also have a stomach ache, I wouldn't recommend it.

Incredibly bad coffee! For a moment I thought the oat milk might have expired, but even on the second try it tasted terrible. A pity!

I just bought a Caesar wrap. The first two bites were as expected with lettuce, chicken, egg, tomato, etc. After that (at least 80% of the wrap) there was only lettuce, nothing else. This is called cheating customers, or even cheating.

The wrap basically just consisted of lettuce. Two small dollops of goat cheese that could have been spread on the wrap. Add a slice of tomato and half a walnut. The rest was just bare iceberg lettuce. Tasted boring

nice healthy alternative to what you usually get at the train station, salad was fresh, crunchy and tasty, it travels better with something light in your stomach.

I thought to myself, I can quickly grab a salad in the evening and then I'll be taken care of. So I quickly went there and ordered a Caesar salad. Nothing bad you think, it can't be that bad. The chicken had a strange aftertaste (I was a bit worried if it was still good...?) and the salad was bitter. The sauce wasn't Caesar sauce either, but some yogurt dressing. Hunger is supposed to be the best cook, but he couldn't save it.

At 0700hrs, either no one is there or the workers ignore the line of customers. This happens every morning at the Nuremberg Train Station location!!!

Already brought salads twice. The salads are not fresh. Tomato was moldy and the lettuce leaves often had brown spots. Certainly from the day before. I gave the store 2 chances but for the price I expect more freshness. I won't buy anything there again. Soothing comments from the owner no longer help, as the topic of “freshness” was also heavily criticized in the previous reviews. However, nothing is changed.

I'm used to Dean&David's salad bowls being freshly prepared, but here it's completely absent! Payment is only possible by card, cash is NOT possible!!! The staff doesn't speak German either, he didn't understand a word!!! This Dean&David is absolutely NOT recommended!!!

Den Preis nicht wert..m Papier war in den Wrap gewickelt !!?? Feige war nicht drin Mitarbeiter konnte auch keine Angabe machen was drin ist wusste nicht mal dass dad was er mir im Eimer gezeigt hat Köse ist.... da wird wohl auch an den Mitarbeitern gespart.. Fazit schlechte Geschöftsleitung. Freundliche aber schlecht geschulte Mitarbeiter.... tolle Idee Umsetzung anscheinend aber nur nach maximalem Profit statt Qualität und Verantwortung für die Mitarbeiter. Erstes und letztes Mal.

The rice mix in the bowl was replaced with cheap bulgur. Very dangerous for people with gluten intolerance. No mention of this when selling.

Definitely not recommended. I received a tiny portion of bland food for very high price. Left with strong feeling of disgust.

No service. I was allowed to tear off the receipt for the card payment on the device myself. Now there is only ONE (very thin) slice of bread with the salad. People no longer ask if you want a bag.

I loved going there after school to get wraps or salads 🥰 The staff are so nice (I was always so happy to get compliments on my outfits 🥺🐻). It's a shame that I don't live in Nuremberg anymore, otherwise I would still be there almost every day of the week to buy food ❤️

Hello, I just bought a salmon and avocado bowl with rice at the train station for €13.90. I'm extremely disappointed and shocked after I opened the bowl... the lettuce, the avocado, the edamame and most likely the salmon were moldy, the rice was completely black but that's probably due to the beetroot, which again means that Bowl has been standing for a while... In the end I am very disappointed because I had to throw away the bowl and wasted €13.90 and got nothing from it. That's why I can only give one star.

Train station snack bar… unfortunately the food was terrible and a complete waste. I took it with me at the time and only realized what was going on when I got home. At least we received a voucher after a complaint. But that didn't help because we'll never eat there again.

I have to say that the chain in general has deteriorated a lot. The compositions of the salads are not really my thing. There is also significantly too little dressing. The price is clearly too high for what is offered.

Leider ist der Salat sowie das Sandwich inzwischen sehr schlecht geworden . An Zutaten wird enorm gespart, Sandwich trocken und kaum belegt, Salat viele Blätter kaum Zutaten . Preis / Leistung stimmt leider nicht mehr.

Hole mir hier immer etwas zu essen, wenn ich am Hbf bin. Super lecker! (Oliven Schafskäse Flatbread kann ich sehr empfehlen)

Ate here along the way because otherwise there was only fast food or other bad food to be found. Concept is good, quality insufficient. Took a falafel bowl, falafel was cold, dry and tough, carrots dry and thick pieces of lettuce. The price is simply too high for this quality.

Ich hatte das vegan sweet potato sandwich und will es unbedingt bald wieder! Knusprig, würzig, unheimlich gut! Das Dean&David ist ein Stand am Bahnhof, also was soll man zum Service sagen? Sehr freundlich und schnell!

The flatbread with chicken had really old tomatoes on it. Tasted strange. There were a lot of flies in the display, too (summer). Also had a vegan sweet chocolate, beetroot bowl which was good.

In meiner Heimatstadt gibt es im Dean&David leckere, frisch zubereitete Bowls, auch unter Berücksichtigung von Unverträglichkeiten. Hier bekam ich eine unappetitliche, schon vorbereitete Portion einer veganen Bowl die einfach nur eklig war. Die Quinoa-Reismischung eine fade Pampe, altes, unansehnliches Gemüse. Ich habe das Essen zurückgegeben, ohne das Geld dafür zurück zu bekommen. Dies sei aus technischen Gründen nicht möglich. Das Angebot, ein anderes Gericht zu wählen, habe ich dankend abgelehnt.

Die Bowl to go hat mir super gut geschmeckt!

Zu jeder Zeit gesund und lecker. Ich liebe die frisch gemachten Säfte. Meine Bowl to Go ist immer sehr gut und das Personal stets freundlich. Schön dass es Euch am Nürnberger Bahnhof gibt 👍

Ich mag die Speisen, sind sie eine der wenigen gesunden Alternativen am Bahnhof. Mittlerweile gibt es nur noch eine halbe Scheibe Brot zum Salat dazu, und auch nur wenn man danach fragt. Lächerlich.

Schlechtestes Dean&David bis jetzt. Unfreundliches Personal das fast schon genervt war, dass man was bestellt. Smoothie oder Juice gabs auch nicht, weil angeblich zu viel los sei… wenigstens die abgepackte Bowl hat geschmeckt.

Das gleiche Sandwich kostet 70 cent mehr am Nürnberger Hauptbahnhof als am Bahnhof München-Pasing (hatte den direkten Vergleich von einem Tag auf den anderen), das ja als Stadt durchaus deutlich teurer ist. Da kann man schon vermuten, dass die Kosten für den Sanifair-Gutschein einfach draufgeschlagen werden. Eigentlich mag ich die Marke, aber man muss es inzwischen generell vermeiden dort einzukaufen, wegen der erhöhten Sanifairpreise.

Wrap und Salat waren lecker. Leider wird das Vergnügen beim Wrap durch das anhaftende Papier getrübt. Lässt sich kaum essen, wie man auch schon in anderen Rezensionen lesen konnte. Die "internen Besprechungen" haben wohl nicht viel gebracht. Daher nur drei Sterne, da man Kund*innen nicht ernst nimmt.

Dean&David ist mein favorisierter Stopp, wenn ich etwas Aufenthaltszeit am Bahnhof habe. Ich muss sagen, dass ich bisher durchweg positive Erfahrungen mit dem Team vor Ort hatte! Auch heute wieder, was mich dazu veranlasst hat, dem Team eine positive Bewertung dazulassen. Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung.

Ich finde auch: für die Preise erwarte ich bessere Qualität Der Kaffee schneckt leider auch nicht. "Qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten"? Sorry, seh' ich nicht so

Am schönen Herbsttag haben wir den Spaziergang um den Whördersee hier unterbrochen zum Erbrechen: Cesar- Rolle mit ekligen Salat. Alle Blätter braune Streifen, gräuliche Flecken am Huhn und am Wrap. Umtausch " das kommt machmal vor" wenn die nass sind in den zweiten Gammel- Wrap. Kein Vertrauen in diese Bude :(. Die Getränke auch warm. Hier stimmt was nicht und gerade ging der Chef nach Hause. Das hätte er also vor dem Feierabend noch bemerken müssen und können. Vernichtend daher das Urteil, und diese Öko- Veranstaltung braucht kein Mensch. Dem Gesundheitsamt schreibe ich das auch, schließlich beliefert diese Truppe jede Menge Büromitarbeiter.

I like Dean and David and I always grab food from them while I travel. Been to this one several times while visiting Nuremberg and I must say it's the worst one ever! Went to grab something before leaving on a train and arrived their 1 hour after the opening time. The guy refused to make me a juice and didn't even explained why. He simply said : no juice. Probably was too lazy to prepare one so early in the morning

Die Wraps sind ziemlich durchgeweicht und fallen komplett auseinander. Der Salat ist auch nicht mehr der frischeste.

Das Essen ist lecker ich habe mir eine Lachs Avocado Bowl bestellt leider war keine Avocado vorhanden.

Every time I visit Germany, I tend to gravitate toward the Bratwurst and Kraut.....not to mention the beers. So Dean and David gives me what my body needs: healthy food that helps to balance out my diet. I was so happy to have this place for a quick stop for healthy food. Am so glad that D&D is in most every large/medium sized train station in Germany.

Unbelievable price policy! Be careful on what you pay! On 18. August, we went to this nice and easy corner in the station. We enjoy actually Dean& david smoothies and falafel salad. But my wife had an annoying surprise. She simply wanted to pay for a smoothie, but the guy at cash desk said for this price there were no smoothies. Although it was clearly mentioned on the menu board behind, he said he was sorry, he can't sell. He looked quite annoyed and was tense, probably because he was not told before. I assume it was also a surprise for him. Apparently, company has changed the prices centrally and reflected on cash machine software. But simply did not change the menu. And there is one universal rule, even in some underdeveloped countries: always prices on the label are valid. We are totally annoyed and not thinking to stop by there any more. It is not worth a stupid tensioon on a weekend. 2 stars are for the quality of food.

Gute Anlaufstelle für Veganer, wenn es mal schnell gehen muss.

Ein Salat, wie man ihn von Billigrestaurants kennt. Blasses Hühnchen, darunter riesige Blätter vom faden Eichblattsalat, der Volumen vorgaukeln soll und dann gab es nur eine Gabel dazu. Man hatte keine Chance, das Grünzeug irgendwie kleinzukriegen. Dazu ein Minibrotscheibchen in einer riesigen Papiertüte. Die hat mir die Frau hinterm Tresen gegeben, obwohl sie ihr vor meinen Augen vorher auf den wirklich siffigen Boden gefallen war. Neeee!

I was starving and needed a quick lunch. This place is great with wonderful food right on display. I got the Cesar wrap. Wonderful service at a fair price and very tasteful.

... schade, aber die Qualität ist seit meinem letzten Besuch deutlich gesunken. Der Cesar Salad bestand aus mehreren Schichten, einer 0815-Soße, die über die Schicht aus gebratenen Hühnchenstreifen gekippt war. Diese lag auf ganzen Salatblättern, die nicht klein gezupft waren. Wie soll sich da die Soße verteilen ... ? Der Parmesan bestand aus verklebten Parmesanplättchen, die sich auch nicht verteilen konnten. Man isst sich also von oben nach unten durch, mischen geht nicht, weil sonst alles auf dem Tisch landet. Da das Dressing nicht nach unten sickert, gibt's ab der Hälfte eben nur noch wässrige Salatblätter. Schade, das war früher einmal eine gute Adresse für ein gutes Salätchen. Mein Fazit: Werde nicht mehr hingehen.

Umsteigen in Nürnberg und ein paar Minuten mehr Zeit? Warum nicht schnell etwas warmes zu Essen besorgen. Das dachte ich mir und weil die Schlange beim Asiaten gegenüber lang war und ich meinen Anschluss nicht verpassen wollte, kam mir Dean & David sehr gelegen. Ich bestellte ein vegetarische Curry zum Mitnehmen. Was ich dann ein paar Minuten später im Zug auspackte, war dann eine Packung mit viel Reis ein wenig Soße und noch weniger Gemüse und das komplett verkocht. Gewürze, wie ich sie von einem Curry erwarte wurden ebenfalls nur sehr sparsam angewandt. Kein Wunder, dass die Schlange gegenüber so lang war...

Der Bahnhof in Nürnberg bzw. deren "Fressmeile" hat sich neu aufgestellt. Jetzt gibt es dort auch dean & david fresh to eat. Hier kann man leckere gesunde Snacks mitnehmen, die auch noch bezahlbar sind.

Habe mit ein Chicken Wrap für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch gegönnt. In der Theke lachte mich der Wrap an, wo auch lecker wirkende Hühnchenstücke mich zum Kauf anregten. Nachdem Kauf stellte es sich heraus, das dass die 3 herausblickenden Minihühnchenstücke die einzigen im Wrap waren , sonst nur grüner Salat & das komplett ungewürzt!? Eigentlich geeignet für Schnecken, Schildkröten, vielleicht auch für Hasen!? Sehr unbefriedigend.

Waren ganz überrascht das in der neuen Food-Passage nun wieder ein dean & david mit dabei ist. Frisches und Gesundes ist natürlich mit dabei. Ganz legger sind die Kuchen und der lemon cake. Salate und Wraps sind auch da, schnell zum mitnehmen - alles da. Cool auf dem Heimweg beim umsteigen am Hbf.
