DAVIS Pizza & Wine in Fulda

A special location with very tasty pizza. The crust was crispy, well seasoned and topped. The eye was also allowed to enjoy. The service was very attentive, friendly and quick AND dog friendly. Without asking, we were offered a place in a quiet corner so that our dog could have peace and quiet. Shortly afterwards she was given a bowl of fresh water. Also very child-friendly, which we were able to experience at the neighboring table. Really highly recommended!!

After we entered the restaurant we were directed to a pretty nice place near the front door, which later turned out to be very bad. The entrance door, which was additionally protected with a curtain, was constantly left open and even after several requests to pay attention, it kept getting up and it slowly became quite cold. We then had to take care of closing the door ourselves. So far so good The nice waitress came after a while and asked us about our drinks and food orders, we ordered and received our drinks relatively quickly, but nothing more. After 90 minutes of waiting for our pizza and several inquiries, we then asked for the bill because it was getting too cold for us and we weren't hungry anymore. We then had to pay for the pizza and unexpectedly received it in a cardboard box which we then ate at home with our guests. Keep it up!

Six of us were there at 6:30 p.m. and had to wait over an hour for our pizza. Since the front door was constantly open, we sat in the draft and were cold. Our request for the door to be closed was met with incomprehension and we were punished by complete ignorance. So we froze with empty glasses until the overpriced pizzas finally arrived, which we then took to escape the cold. Conclusion: unbelievably bad performance, something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. We would have been treated better at the station mission.

Top Spaghetti Carbonara, with a Moretti, classico. The pizzas also look extremely good, the ambience is chic but not really cozy, good decoration could make a difference. Otherwise the store is solid.

We traveled from Ulm to discover the delicacies here. We were warmly welcomed and the waiting times for the delicious dishes really weren't long, neither for drinks nor for the pizzas or pasta as well as dessert and cocktails We really enjoyed everything, the ambience was spectacular, and later on it even became romantic with the lights in the dark. WOW, unbeatable value for money! Italy in Fulda is really possible, here at Pizza Davis not only in terms of cuisine but also the whole vibe. We really enjoy coming here again from Ulm.

The Davis is a must visit for us every time we are in Fulda for work. The food is incredibly delicious (especially the pizzas) and the staff is very attentive and friendly. There are some vegan options too!

Very nice restaurant, stylishly decorated. A nice outdoor area, which is unfortunately right at an intersection, but there is a small “fence” that makes it a little more separated. The food was very tasty, and upon request there was also garlic oil with the pizza. Chili oil and olive oil were at the table. The espresso and cappuccino were also delicious and for dessert we had the filled chocolate ice cream, which was very tasty. All in all worth a visit!

A great shop for authentic Neapolitan pizza. The service is very forthcoming and friendly. The atmosphere in the store was very clean and modern. I can't say anything negative about the food. The pizzas are a great size. The homemade lemonades are refreshing and delicious 😊. Gladly again!

Modern is also different and more comfortable. The old restaurant was cozier and nicer… But it's a matter of taste You can also notice the clientele of customers who want to eat something quick before the cinema. Parking is easy to find in the yard in the evening.

Ordered pizza from the local store, took it with us and drove 10 minutes home. One was already cold when it arrived, the other tasted poor. Not recommended, especially given the disproportionately high prices.

The Davis is a very modern restaurant with a small, manageable menu. The pasta dishes are really good, but the pizzas 🍕 are my highlight. I would recommend everyone to reserve in advance as Davis is very busy. Works wonderfully on the homepage. Have fun and enjoy it

**Restaurant review: DAVIS FULDA** I recently had the pleasure of dining at DAVIS and my experience was entirely positive. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful furnishings and subtle lighting contributed to a cozy ambience, perfect for dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter took the time to explain the house specialties to us and make recommendations, which turned out to be excellent. The menu offered a wide range of traditional Italian dishes and every dish we tried was a real treat. Particularly noteworthy are the bowls, which were simply heavenly. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes carefully prepared. The taste reminded me of my trips to Italy. The wine list also left nothing to be desired and offered a good selection of Italian wines that went perfectly with the dishes. We decided on a Lugana which was excellent. At the end of our meal we ordered espresso and it was a perfect end to a wonderful evening. Overall, my visit to "DAVIS" was a completely successful experience. The restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine at a high level, paired with first-class service and a pleasant atmosphere. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a special culinary experience. We always enjoy going here for pizza.

I was there at the weekend to try out the breakfast that is now being offered and decided on avocado bread with egg. However, the slice was so small and thin that you couldn't get enough of it at all. For €13 I think it's absolutely overpriced and not justified at all. I know from other cafés and restaurants that you get a thick, large slice or two small ones. But that was definitely an end piece of bread & therefore just anything but worth the price. Especially since a pizza with ham and mushrooms, for example, is in the same price range. Unfortunately, the pricing doesn't work either way. Nevertheless, the staff was very polite and accommodating.

Had a very nice evening there. Unfortunately there was no changing table for our baby, so we had to change in the stroller, but no one was bothered by that. Food was very tasty and came relatively quickly.

Pizzas are very tasty and fresh, but the tasty, unlined edge is approx. 4-5cm wide, so there is relatively little left for the toppings, the edge may be too wide for some guests. Nice and quick service, after around 8 p.m. the noise level is too loud for conversation, so off to the hotel. The restaurant is intended for a younger audience, at least 90% of whom were here.

Nice atmosphere, stylishly furnished and very cozy, really very inviting. The female service staff are very, very unfriendly. I came in with my friend and was looked at stupidly. Then unfriendly brought to the reserved table. The gentleman who took our orders was super friendly and helpful. After a really short time the food was there. My lasagna was cold and salty. Didn't finish my partner's pizza. (same thing happened at the neighboring table) After speaking to a waitress, my lasange was taken away and “warmed up” again - it was still cold and the lady seemed annoyed. End of the song we had our food returned to the gentleman and only had to pay for the drinks. Now a few hours later the couple of bites are really in our stomachs so absolutely not recommended.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant on the way from Bremerhaven to Bregenz. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were friendly. The food was outstanding and extremely delicious. We were even able to take advantage of the lunch special: pizza with a drink for just €15.50.

Yesterday pizza €16.50 with absolutely nothing on it. A pity. I won't go there anymore.

In a nutshell: The best pizza in Fulda. The menu is simple and focuses on pizzas, but rightly so. The ingredients are very high quality and well selected. My absolute highlight was the pizza dough. I've rarely had such good dough, even in Italy. The price (around €10 per pizza) is absolutely okay.

Pizza itself wasn't bad. Ordered 3 pizzas to take away. It took a very long time and if you ordered a pizza to take away you could also cut the pizza. We wanted to eat outside because the weather was still nice but how are you supposed to eat the uncut pizza?

Review for a weekday lunch. Great and high-quality ambience, beautiful interior design, lounge music at the right volume. Prices are slightly higher but it fits with the overall good impression. According to the company's own statement, pizza is a special combination of dough preparation (24 hours against leaving) and baking preparation (approx. 485 °C). I can confirm that the pizza is "different": dough shows strong roasted aromas, is light and a little chewier than usual (not meant in a negative way). When I visited, lunch on a weekday, there was little going on and there were therefore no unusual waiting times. I'm excited to see what the performance is like in the evening - I'll definitely come again. The bad reviews regarding longer waiting times come from the first few weeks after opening. According to my waiter, there were teething problems (new cash register system, unexpectedly large number of customers, new team). Complaining at a very, very high level: The menu might need to be revised again in terms of orthography, that doesn't fit with the great overall picture. What I find negative, however, is that the smallest suggested tip for the card payment system is 10%. This is inappropriate for Germany. Update 2024: Unfortunately, prices have been increased noticeably. In some cases too few service staff at peak times such as evenings on weekends.

Always delicious! So far I've just ordered and brought the pizza home. But that's not because of the pizzeria, but because I prefer to eat at home. The store looks very nice and modern from the inside. The only problem is that sometimes there is no free parking space because there are only a few available.

Kann leider auch nicht mehr gut bewerten. Ich finde den Laden an sich super, ich liebe die Pizza. Aber was mit der neuen Speisekarte passiert ist, erklärt sich mir nicht. Preise sind DEUTLICH angestiegen - und das wirklich nicht zu knapp. Eine kleine Schüssel mit 8-9 Oliven kostet 5,00€ - bitte WAS? Die frühere Vorspeise „Pizzabrot“ war wirklich einfach ein runder Pizzateig. Mittlerweile sind es einfach nur noch 6-8 Stücken Rand einer Pizza - auch für 5,00€. Meiner Meinung nach ist hier nicht nur eine ordentliche Preiserhöhung vollzogen worden (was ja teils auch völlig i.O ist) sondern die Portionen wurde auch extrem verkleinert. Der Service ist mittlerweile auch leider nicht mehr wie davor. Lange Wartezeiten, ewiges Warten auf Speisekarten etc etc. Sehr schade da ich sonst so gerne hierher gekommen bin. Werde ich nun in Zukunft nicht mehr so oft machen.

Wir sind mit hohen Erwartungen hier reingegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Pizza absolut genial, war sehr lecker und auch optisch einfach Klasse. Sowas sieht man normalerweise nur in Italien. 😄 Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und der riesen Pizzaofen ist ein Blickfang. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und schnell. Da wir so ziemlich die ersten waren, war das Essen recht flott zubereitet und die Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Abend! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Netter, unkomplizierte Laden. Sehr freundlicher und fixer Service, leckere Pizza, gutes italienisches Bier und ordentlich Weine, Preis/Leistung sehr gut Einzig die Beleuchtung ist zu diffus, dadurch wirkt es weniger gemütlich.

Habe 35 Minuten erfolglos auf eine Thunfischbowl gewartet (bei 5 Gästen im Haus). Nachdem ich dann an die Theke ging um nachzufragen, Antwort: „Wir wissen auch nicht, warum die Bowl nicht kommt. Liegt an der Küche.“ 3 Minuten später Bowl da. 5 Minuten später (während ich am essen war) kommt eine andere Bedienung mit einer Schale Feta-Käse und meinte, den hätten sie vergessen in der Bowl. 😵‍💫 5 Minuten später kommt die andere Bedienung und fragt, ob alles ok sei. Ich antworte: „Nein, ist nicht ok. Eine Info oder irgendwas wegen des Essens wäre ok gewesen. Gast ignorieren und links liegen lassen nicht gut.“ Daraufhin fragte sie mich, ob sie das Essen jetzt mitnehmen soll - während ich noch am essen bin. 🫣 5 Minuten später kommt die andere Bedienung und fragt, ob sie das Essen jetzt mitnehmen kann - während ich immer noch am Essen bin. 🤬 Bin immer gerne zu euch gekommen, aber das war heute unterirdisch. „How to vergraul the Kundschaft“ als Masterclass. Puh …

War während meines Urlaubs dort zwei mal essen. Habe mir Pizza zum mitnehmen geholt. Die erste war eine Thunfisch Pizza. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Die zweite war eine Pizza Napolitana. Leider fehlten hier auf der Pizza die Sardellen, die Oliven und die Kapern. Ich hatte quasi eine Pizza mit Tomatensoße und Käse. Deshalb auch nur die drei Sterne. Ein mal gut, ein mal nicht so gut. :) Kontrolliert die Pizza also lieber, bevor ihr das Haus verlasst.

Essen ist sehr gut, leider haben wir ziemlich lange darauf gewartet. Die Einrichtung ist modern und ansprechend. Eine kleine Verbesserung die es für die Gäste einfacher machen würde, wäre die Bereitstellung einer Garderobe. Die dicken Winterjacken am Platz zu haben ist ziemlich unbequem.

Die Pizza ist natürlich mega. 1 Stern muss ich wegen der unfreundlichen und unaufmerksamen Bedienung abziehen. Fühle mich nicht Willkommen. Werde aufgrund der guten Pizza immer wieder kommen.

Pizza nach napoletanischer Art wie man sie kaum besser machen kann. Junges freundliches Team. Auch der Espresso war sehr gut.

Waren auf der Durchreise und haben per Zufall diese Pizzeria in der Nähe unseres Hotels gefunden - also ganz ehrlich, wir waren begeistert, gutes frisches Essen für ein Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis was seines sucht, Giovanni und sein Team sind sehr freundlich und mit unsere Tochter werden wir auf jeden Fall zurückkommen - A presto :)!

Edit: Neue Location: Leider ist der Teig nicht mehr so gut wie früher und auch das Ambiente war vorher echt schöner und hatte weniger was von einer Wartehalle. Alte Location: Vor allem die veganen Pizzen sind super, bitte so beibehalten! :) Das Personal war bisher auch jedes Mal freundlich und die Pizza sowohl im Restaurant als auch to go immer top.
