Food great, service flop! According to the service person, the Pülleken tap was 'broken' after the first beer. Ordered another beer - when we ordered the bill we were told that the tap was working again. Ordered and didn't receive a new beer. When paying, the waiter said that the alternative beer didn't really taste good. He replied “then you shouldn’t have ordered it”. The waiter constantly had no thought of service, empty glasses, unfriendly and dirty corners of his mouth. Service is different! Kitchen please keep it up!

Everything was as it should be. The restaurant with its location and view of the Baltic Sea is absolutely unique. The service was very, very nice but not intrusive either. The food, rum steak and tomahawk were really great, the chef knows his craft and overall you're happy to spend a little more money. Conclusion Here you get something for your money. Keep it up. I ate there again on May 1st, 2025. It was again an absolute taste experience. Without exaggerating, I have never found a restaurant that made such a delicious steak.

The quality of the food is consistently at the highest level - the steaks in particular are a dream: perfectly cooked, wonderfully seasoned and always first-class in taste. The service is warm, attentive and we already know us by name – you simply feel welcome. The ambience also plays its part: stylish, cozy and yet informal. For me the best place to spend an enjoyable evening. Always my pleasure!

Located right on the beach. You can sit inside and outside. We quickly made a reservation online an hour before dinner, which was quick and easy. The large ribs are a huge portion and super tasty.

We have been in Grömitz at least once a year for years and are guests every day at the steakhouse “dasPfaff” and its little snack brother “little Pfaff”. Here everything is prepared at the highest level and from the best ingredients, usually by the boss himself... from the café latte in the morning to a great lunch menu with snacks such as burgers, homemade sauces and side dishes, to the evening menu where no steak wish is left unfulfilled... all dishes are lovingly decorated. The waitresses were without exception friendly and attentive. Our dog was also treated to snacks and fresh water. An ambience in which we enjoy spending time both outdoors and indoors on all days of our Grömitz vacation. Clear recommendation for all holidaymakers in Grömitz... Stephan and Tanja all the best to you, your great team and the two TOP addresses "das Pfaff" and "little Pfaff" in town.

We ate there with 4 people. Even though it was very busy, we were served quickly and the food came quickly. The steaks were fried medium or rare as ordered and, like the schnitzel, it was very tasty.

Very unfortunate. No steak is served at lunch. Or is it? At least not for us. At two other tables that ordered after us, it was miraculously possible to order steak. The citizen, the spaghetti for the children and the spare ribs were super tasty and the service was very friendly. But maybe they should rename themselves "das Pfaff, every now and then or not for every steak restaurant".

A nice location on the promenade. Unfortunately the cola we ordered was not carbonated. Not a word of apology, nothing. The meat was really of good quality... but really nothing more. We had dinner with 12 people. First the children got their food then nothing happened for 15 minutes. I received my meat and my sides about 8 minutes later. That shouldn't happen at a restaurant in this price category. But everything was delicious

It started off sooooo well. Short waiting times at the beginning. We had a table at 5:30 p.m. Starter... the fake snails were really good. Main course the spare ribs, also great. The coleslaw salad was very spicy, which is very unusual for a salad like this. We also complained about this to the waiter, but he simply acknowledged it. There was also a dessert. Until then, have a really great evening. The drinks were then empty and we were unable to call the waiter over. We tried for 20 minutes. We would have liked to drink something more. We also couldn't pay at the table; the waiter apparently didn't want to or couldn't see us. We then went to the counter to pay. Admittedly, the restaurant was now really full, so the waiter was absolutely stressed. But still, the final impression just wasn't that nice. I still give it, in my opinion, very good stars because it started well and the food was really great. I think we will definitely come back and get a new impression...

We stumbled upon this steak restaurant by chance. We were so impressed by the ambiance, the selection, and the prices that we spontaneously had a currywurst for lunch and immediately reserved a table for dinner. We had rib eye and pork fillet. Both were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

The views of the promenade and the sea are great. Unfortunately the tagliatelle with salmon were dripping in a large pool of oil. Unfortunately it didn't look appealing either. I'm disappointed.

Excellent steak restaurant with a beautiful ambience We spent a fantastic evening at Das Pfaff in Grömitz and can fully recommend it! Even from the outside, the restaurant makes a stylish and inviting impression. The outdoor terrace looks cozy, but we opted for the indoor area - a stylishly decorated restaurant with a warm ambience, wooden walls and a beautiful fireplace picture that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is varied and offers high quality meat dishes as well as delicious side dishes. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender as butter on the inside – a real taste experience! The homemade herb butter rounded the whole thing off wonderfully. There was also a crunchy Caesar salad and fresh, aromatic grilled vegetables. To round things off, we treated ourselves to a dessert dream: a warm chocolate cake with ice cream, chocolate sauce and fresh berries - simply heavenly! The service was equally excellent: friendly, attentive and professional. The waiters took the time to make recommendations and were always there with a smile. Conclusion: If you are looking for a first-class steak restaurant in Grömitz with great service and a cozy atmosphere, you should not miss DasPfaff. We'll definitely be back!

We were in Grömitz this weekend and googled for a good steakhouse. Because of the very good reviews, we decided on the “Pfaff”. What was great was that we were able to order a table online without having to spend a lot of time on the phone. We had gratinated goat cheese, pump steaks that were perfectly cooked to medium rare, and fillet of beef (also perfect) with fried potatoes, Mediterranean vegetables and various sauces. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The dasPfaff team is super attentive and funny. We felt there with our friends as if we had been guests there forever!!! It was like coming home... So dasPfaff is definitely worth recommending. Thank you very much for this lovely evening, we would love to come back.

Unfortunately, our superlatives are not enough for this recession! But from the beginning: We reserved a table online in advance, which worked without any problems with a confirmation email. You will also receive another reminder email the day before. Very good service in advance. On the day of our reservation we arrived an hour earlier and were lucky enough to be able to use our table an hour earlier - after politely asking. My friend and I both chose the BBQ Spare Rips. According to the menu, it was buttery soft and what can we say: the meat literally fell off the bone and was so tender - incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and polite but also discreet and not intrusive. The prices are of course not exactly cheap, but the most important thing is that the price-performance ratio is right and that is the case here. The whole evening was just perfect. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the beautiful ambience and delicious food. The super friendly service was powerless against the cold in the restaurant. So unfortunately we left straight after dinner.

We've eaten here several times and it's always been great. My wife found the salad a little too spicy, but she really liked everything else. The service is very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely see each other again at Christmas

For me one of the best steakhouses in Germany. I was already able to eat at Wolfgang's NY. At the Beef Brothers in South Africa. But the little Pfaff can easily keep up with and even surpass common chains like BlockH. We've been here twice a year for 4 years now and eat steaks twice every week. The steaks are always on point. Service is always great, especially the boss herself is great. Very clear recommendation.

We have enjoyed coming to Grömitz often for more than 20 years. We haven't been to Pfaff yet, although the restaurant has been around since 2020. I admit, there was always the thought of “tourist shop” in my head. Far from it! I apologized to the boss for that yesterday 😉. It was a really nice evening. Starting with a very friendly and warm welcome, followed by a goat cheese with sesame and rounded off with a rump steak that was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The extensive wine list also left nothing to be desired when it came to the choice of drinks. It was an evening as if we were already regulars, not just becoming them! Thank you for that and for your patience; we'll be back.

Very nice restaurant. Located directly on the promenade. We've walked past it many times but didn't pay attention to it. Because the idea was: tourist restaurant, mass processing, get out quickly. But far from it. The Pfaff is truly a jewel in Grömitz. The steaks were excellent. The truffle fries with parmesan are the best I've ever eaten. The squid starter was so uniquely tender. A dream. Small negative point: the fried potatoes. There is still room for improvement. Super nice and very informative service. Very nice boss. I can only recommend Pfaff to everyone. It was a dream.

Great for anyone who doesn't want to eat fish. Pleasant atmosphere, very nice and attentive service. The beef fillet is definitely worth the money - the desired degree of doneness was spot on (unfortunately that doesn't work everywhere). The truffled fries were great! yummy. Overall not cheap, but really good. We'll definitely be back.

We had dinner at Pfaff yesterday. The food is really recommended. A big compliment also goes to the new, young employee, who is really very motivated and constantly tries to please her (male) colleagues (even if it sometimes seems difficult ;) ). Unfortunately disappointing. The steak had probably been sitting for a while to keep warm, so it came in under 5 minutes. But that means that it was already more through than medium. Service is very attentive. We were there with two small children and were asked if we would like water at room temperature instead of from the refrigerator. Food was tasty, but nothing special. We actually expected more for the price. We thought it was pretty steep to charge €12.50 for a children's portion (pasta Bolognese). You definitely pay for the location, which is of course more than great. If you don't mind eating very expensive meals and don't need large portions, this is the place for you.

We had reserved a table almost 30 minutes in advance via Google. When we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly greeted and offered several tables to choose from. The order was received quickly. A wine recommendation based on the dish was also made. The food itself was brought quickly and tasted very good. I felt very comfortable and found the price/performance ratio to be more than appropriate and justified. We would love to come back 😀

It was great that we were able to order a table online without having to spend a lot of time on the phone. Nice location on the promenade not far from the pier. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We had spare ribs and a fillet steak. Both were of top quality, grilled to perfection as requested. For me, the spare ribs are the best I've eaten in a long time, super tender meat perfectly marinated, with crispy fried potatoes. My friend was also very happy with the steak. It should be clear that a steakhouse with the quality of meat and the location on the promenade cannot be one of the cheapest restaurants. But it was worth it to us. You don't treat yourself to something like that every day ;-)

We have been to Pfaff several times since it opened and were actually quite impressed by the quality and concept. Good food can also cost something. However, almost 30 euros for rather bland pasta with shrimps is rather difficult. Now you could of course argue that you shouldn't eat pasta in a steakhouse - but I think so: if I have high standards for my products, then all dishes should meet these standards. And what was missing here was spice, inspiration and a few more seconds on the grill. Real satire was the waiter's reaction to a corresponding comment from us (after he asked what it was like): "yes, it's just pasta with shrimp..." Oh well, then I know now 🙈😂 Fillet steak, spare ribs and tuna steaks were good.

Yesterday I had dinner at Pfaff. The food and the ambience were really nice and tasty. However, I really have to criticize the service experience here. First, I and my companion were left standing in the entrance for minutes, even though there were enough seats available. When ordering, people asked reproachfully why they didn't take an appetizer. What was really negative was a waiter who was neither able to speak to me in complete sentences nor really friendly. The first full sentence came when I wanted to pay with the question: Can I please pay? - and the waiter replied: I don't know, can you? In a restaurant where the cheapest dish starts at €20 and I leave with a bill for two people at least €70, I find this behavior unbelievable. We didn't even say goodbye when we left. Despite the fact that the ambience was really nice, the service was inappropriate and also brash. We certainly won't go there again. I hope the Pfaff finds better staff.

We were at dasPfaff again and had another wonderful evening with the service staff who knew exactly what they were doing. Top. Right down to the performance of the kitchen. There were 7 of us eating there, everyone got their food at the same time and everyone chose something different including a starter and everyone was completely at peace. Great performance to the entire team, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back 😀

The best burger I've ever eaten. My partner's fillet (medium) was cooked to perfection and super tender. The side dishes were also perfect. The dessert was also to die for. Very friendly and attentive staff. Absolute recommendation.

Das Essen war Klasse, das Steak sowohl bei mir als auch bei meiner Frau perfekt auf den gewünschten Garpunkt gegrillt. Die Beilagen waren auch sehr lecker. Unseren Kinden hat es auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war unaufdringlich aber immer ansprechbar. Das einzige, was mich echt irritiert hat, ist das ich nach der Bestellung unseres Essens nicht noch spontan eine Vorspeise bestellen konnten. Das sei technisch leider nicht möglich.🤔 Aber das soll den tollen Gesamteindruck nicht schmälern.

Ein erstklassiges Steakhouse mit sehr aufmerksamen höflichem Service. Ruhige angenehme Atmosphäre im Innenraum mit Blick auf Strand und Meer. Gargrad des Rumpsteak perfekt getroffen, Beilagen auf den Punkt angebraten. Perfekt temperierter Wein.

Wir waren zu dritt im Restaurant "dasPfaff". Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service war super freundlich, die Vorspeisen sehr gut, der Hauptgang auch sehr lecker. Die Preise sind absolut okay. Wir würden, wenn wir mal wieder in Grömitz sind, auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen.

Wir haben dort mit mehreren Personen einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Von der Organisation, dem Ambiente, dem Service und vor allem das Essen und die Getränke war Alles von Anfang bis Ende perfekt. Das Pfaff ist nur zu empfehlen. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Bedienung ist übertrieben freundlich und zuvorkommend, verstehen sehr viel Spaß und machen jeden schabanack mit. Das Essen ist auch äußerst lecker, und bei den Getränken wird nicht an Alkohol gespart 😉 das Preis leistungs Verhältnisse ist super!

Ca.30€ für eine echt kleine Trüffel Pasta Portion ist schon frech. Ja Trüffel ist teuer aber wenn man nach 5 Minuten mit dem Gericht fertig ist und bei den anderen mitisst, läuft was falsch. Steak schmeckte wohl auch nicht super für den Preis. Die Burger waren lecker, Pommes kross. Ofenkartoffel und Hähnchen auch. Getränke und Alkohol auch gut. Dessert auch lecker aber auch sehr klein für ca.9€. Die eine jüngere Kellnerin war sehr unfreundlich und unmotiviert sie ist mehrmals an uns vorbei gelaufen ohne abzuräumen oder zu fragen ob wir noch was möchten. Alles in allem stimmt für mich Preis Leistung nicht da die Preise recht hoch sind.

Außergewöhnliches gutes und geschmackvolles Essen. Online Reservierung möglich. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und das Essen wurde auch dementsprechend zügig serviert.

Wir waren nur zum Trinken hier. Gute Getränke und schnelle und super nette Bedienung. So macht das Spaß!

Es war sehr gut besucht. Dadurch kann schon mal was vergessen werden. Es wurde sehr gut reagiert. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut und ist wirklich was besonders. Die Preise allerdings auch. Ob das wirklich im Verhältnis steht? Zu einem ganz besonderen Anlass würden wir wieder kommen.

Sehr schöne Lage an der Promenade, direkter Blick auf die Seebrücke. Sehr nette Bedienung höflich und zuvorkommend. Gute Fleisch Qualität, auf den Punkt gebracht wie gewünscht. Auch die Burger sind sehr lecker. Schön angerichtete Speisen, alles in allem TOP. Reservierung ist empfehlenswert. Parkplätze direkt in der in der Nähe am Seebrücken Vorplatz, aber kostenpflichtig. Kommen gerne wieder! ————— Seit längerem mal wieder hier eingekehrt, Qualität der Speisen wie auch letztes Mal hervorragend, Bedienungen nach wie vor sehr nett und freundlich. Die Spareribs sind für mich persönlich die besten die ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe, super zartes Fleisch perfekt eingelegt, dazu krosse Bratkartoffeln und einen frischen Wildkräutersalat.

Das Carpaccio war sehr lecker Dann kam das Ribeye 350 Gramm Steak Ich hatte es Medium Rare bestellt Und da sieht man, dass der Koch sein Fach beherrscht Ein ribeye Steak Medium-Rare zu grillen , so dass das Fettauge zerschmilzt, das kann nicht jeder Fleischqualität super und sehr netter Service Komme gerne wieder

Das pfaff ist ein wirklich hervorragendes Restaurant. Das Essen was bisher immer sehr gut und die Bedienung immer sehr nett. Für uns gehört der Besuch zum Urlaub in Grömitz dazu. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.
