The perfect place to end the day, where you'll be well looked after and cared for. We felt at home from the very first moment. Very friendly hosts and excellent service. Even as a die-hard beer drinker, I enjoyed the potato beer as an aperitif. I had a small salad (very nicely presented in a glass) and the baked potato with garlic shrimp – sensational!!!!!! The recommended wine went wonderfully with it. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Landsberg and spontaneously stopped by Kartoffelwerk because we immediately loved the concept. It was the best decision! The service is very attentive, authentic, and friendly. The food was outstanding! The menu offers nothing like the run-of-the-mill, monotonous dishes you'd find elsewhere. The starters and main courses were lovingly prepared, well-seasoned, and a real treat. We ordered the homemade potato spelt bread twice. The ambiance is small and cozy, and the terrace is inviting. The value for money is excellent. We will definitely be back.

An amazing and super cute restaurant to have either lunch or dinner at! We are a family of 5 and the owners were very friendly and most helpful with deciding on which meals would suit each of our individual needs. The food was top quality and the dessert potato pancakes were otherworldly. The price we paid was definitely low given the quality of food on offer. If you want a place that is easy-going and is friendly to families with children, this is the place for you.

The food here is always great. Everything's fresh, everything's top-notch. The service is beyond friendly! The food is delicious, unusual, and the menu changes. It's all about potatoes, as the name suggests. Potato pizza, potato beer, and much more. The service is professional and very friendly. This review concerns events hosted by Kartoffelwerk. I visited the restaurant three times and was satisfied. Since the events cannot be rated, but those hosted by Kartoffelwerk are, this review is provided here. At the events, we were particularly dissatisfied and disappointed with the price/performance ratio. This applies, for example, to the Rutenfest (Ruten Festival) or, more recently, the 600th anniversary celebration at Bayertor. If we on the Lech River can boast a regional product in large quantities and of good quality, it is potatoes. Charging €5 for a potato, the same price you pay for a spiral potato in Munich or Augsburg, is greedy. If three children are queuing with their chopsticks, have spent €15, and aren't full because the potatoes are too small and, in our case, undercooked, then forgive me, then two stars are appropriate. Now comes the clever objection that the doneness could have been criticized: then send the kids back or take the potatoes away from them after they've waited 15-20 minutes... It's frightening to point out to a fifth-grader that they can invest their weekly pocket money in, for example, a decent-sized potato in Landsberg. In Baden-Württemberg/on Lake Constance, they can get it for €3.50, so I'm not convinced that the cost calculation justifies this price. Incidentally, the same applies to a poorly topped tarte flambée half here. A child's price, a potato that's always thoroughly cooked/fried and large, that would be something.

I think it's become very rare to find such a good restaurant with great staff and incredible homemade food! It's a pleasure to eat there!

We celebrated our civil wedding at Kartoffelwerk with just over 20 people, and what can we say? It was absolutely perfect for us, and we would do it again anytime! From the initial consultation, through the evening before the wedding, to the day itself, we could rely on Blanka and Steffi at all times. They sometimes thought of the smallest details before us, and they were more than supportive and accommodating in making our day so perfect. Thanks again to you and your team!

It was a lovely Lord of the Rings evening

This was not only one of my favorite meals during my trip to Germany, but one of my favorite meals in all of my European travels. The restaurant is family owned and has the warmest vibe. The food is incredible and the ambiance is so welcoming-it’s like a warm hug when you walk in! Loved it and would highly recommend ❤️

The restaurant is small, but very cozy and lovingly designed. I particularly liked the decorative sayings on the walls, which create a warm atmosphere. The selection of food is good, the food was very tasty and more filling than it seemed at first glance. The bill was a small disappointment: we were charged for two cokes that none of us had ordered or drank. Despite repeated references to this, they insisted that we pay them. Of course, it's not about the amount, but about the way the situation was handled. A more flexible and customer-friendly approach to this would have made the experience more rounded. Overall a nice restaurant with delicious food with a more relaxed approach to little things like this would be perfect.

We had the homemade lemonade, the herbal tea, the cheese fondue and the potato cheese sparrows and everything was so delicious! The atmosphere was also very nice and cozy, and the conditions were also super friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back ♡

CATERING - Very nice ladies and very good advice, but - unfortunately we were still unlucky! We were completely unlucky with the catering, ordered for 30 people. It was delivered too early and the bride and groom and guests had to accept the catering. That doesn't work at all. It was not possible for me to check the delivery/order because I was not there yet. We had ordered mini burgers, but received normal sized, unattractive, unappetizing and not tasty burgers. More like meatball rolls. We had ordered mini quiches, but due to time constraints we received puff pastry muffins, albeit with an unappetizing, purple potato filling. We ordered antipasti platters, the vegetables were not pickled, only the pickled onions and olives had flavor. The potato salad tasted okay. sandwiches - you can't go wrong, but they could have been garnished a little nicer. Mousse au chocolat was not fluffy and creamy, but dry. If you value a bit of nice plates/cutlery, you shouldn't use this service. We unpacked some of the cutlery to use it, but then put it aside because it was different cutlery and was stained. Not used. We received plates in two different colors, black and white, not nice at a wedding. We didn't use it. We didn't use salad cutlery and tongs in green/white or plastic either, they just didn't look nice. We didn't use it. After the wedding, we asked guests who had eaten these things how they tasted, as we didn't want to see ourselves as the sole indicator. The response was clear and negative. Nobody wanted to take anything with them!! We were already surprised. We then put a lot in the trash can on Sunday evening. I then paid in cash and communicated my dissatisfaction. No ability to criticize and certainly no accommodation to be recognized or expected. The succinct answer I received was that I should have called on Sunday evening. The catering for the wedding was on Saturday evening! What good would a phone call on Sunday evening have been?

We were at the potato plant last Saturday for a special evening. The ladies went out of their way to enchant us with the world of Harry Potter. Starting with the selection of houses before entering the restaurant to the detailed decoration inside. (My Harry Potter heart beat in a triangle:) more about the lovingly prepared dishes (all based on the dishes from Harry Potter, of course) with specially prepared menu cards. Entertainment was equally lovingly provided. Using quizzes and some great ideas, all of which I don't want to spoil, the ladies created an unforgettable evening. The food was excellent as always. Thank you for this experience!

Catering rating (but we can also recommend the restaurant): We hired the potato factory to cater our wedding and are thrilled. The communication and coordination in advance was uncomplicated and Blanka responded to all of our wishes. The day itself went smoothly and the food, from starter to dessert, was delicious (not just for us but also for our guests). The team from the potato factory put a lot of effort into decorating the buffet and no one had to wait long for their food. Apart from the excellent food, the price-performance ratio is also good. We are grateful for the great service and would hire the potato factory again for our celebration at any time.

Small restaurant with a nice menu. As the name suggests, everything is potato-based. Extremely great creations, as pizza or tarte flambée, the toppings in extraordinary combinations that taste excellent. The baked potato with side dishes or meat impresses with a super delicately seasoned topping. Beer made from potatoes also tastes very good and other exciting drink variations await you. If you can arrange it, it's definitely worth a visit. The service was also excellent. A great young man who was very attentive and friendly served us. Thanks

We spontaneously went to the potato factory on Saturday lunchtime during the Vitus market and it was really very good. Relaxed service with very good recommendations, very tasty food and no rush or stress. Both ladies (service and kitchen/owner) were particularly accommodating and very friendly. Even though we were there shortly before the end, we never had the impression of being rushed. The food (anti pasti and baked potato with garlic prawns) was excellent and freshly (!) prepared. Because of the market, the view from the "terrace" was somewhat limited, but even that didn't diminish our very positive impression. Really a recommendation!

Definitely a gem in the city of Landsberg! We recently went to a wonderful restaurant in the center of Landsberg that specializes in potato dishes and absolutely loved it! The small, cozy ambience of the restaurant contributes to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made our visit particularly pleasant. The staff's recommendations were excellent and completely suited our taste. This restaurant is truly a gem in the city of Landsberg and we can highly recommend it to everyone. Very nice garden restaurant with a small menu. The owner is open and very friendly, you immediately feel at home. The point is deducted because there is very little vegetarian food.

We were there in winter and also at the Christkindl market. The potato spiral is very tasty. The restaurant itself is cute, nicely decorated and just a small restaurant with maybe 30 seats. Cozy atmosphere, and Blanka and Steffi the owners are very nice and accommodating. Pleasant service and very tasty! We can only recommend it and we will always go there in the future when we are near Landsberg.

Lovingly designed restaurant that really highlights its USP. In addition to potato beer or potato pancakes, there is a lot more to discover. We missed the seasoning in a few places, especially with the antipasti, but that's a matter of taste. It was a special evening, thank you very much.

We celebrated a birthday here with 12 people. At short notice, two more people came along than planned. No problem for the potato plant team. Here, delicious food, great service and a great ambience are combined to create a unique experience.
