Das Fritz beim Waldcafé in Pfullingen

Very nice view but bad service. It takes a very long time to be served. And you shouldn’t use plastic wine glasses in a location like this. You get the beer in glasses, you don't have to understand that. Was there twice and don't know yet whether I will come a third time.

Great place with delicious cuisine and a beautiful view, but wine served in a plastic glass doesn't work for me at all (especially since when you order a bottle of wine they come with real wine glasses...).

Unfortunately, the open wine and aperitifs are served in plastic containers. Glasses are available when ordering a bottle of wine. The reason given was that the wine glasses would break. An absolute no go for me. The price is regular and plastic containers are a departure from style for an upscale restaurant, especially since beer and mineral water were served in glasses. The staff is very friendly and the dishes ordered were well presented and tasted without complaint. Nobody asked us if everything was OK and tasted good. They apparently saw my anger and only came to the table to clear and collect. The location is very nice, the view is fantastic and there were enough parasols available. It's a shame that the owner is sticking to her decision to use plastic tableware, even though there have already been many complaints about it. I would have liked to tell the owner myself, but unfortunately she wasn't there. I can't say whether I'll come here again, but maybe I'll bring my own wine glass.

Great view, but unfortunately you get wine and aperol spritz in a plastic glass! That doesn't fit the location at all!! And it doesn't work at all.

Very nice atmosphere and an excellent range of drinks and food. The service is exceptional.

We had a different kind of encounter with the owner...and that's what you call a restaurateur? I would say keep your eyes open when choosing a career! After we were assigned a spot in the sun with our 2 children despite a reservation, he just said that he didn't have time to point this out to the guests when making the reservation, but I could do it for him. After I asked him why he was being so rude to me, he said that I was being rude and that he was using his house rules. An expulsion...we suspect that our children, 7 and 3 years old, disturbed him. Never again! The star is given for the great location.

We were here with friends on Thursday and were looking forward to it because, according to the menu, there are also some vegan dishes. But when the boss kicked our friends out and called them cheeky because they (with two small children) didn't want to sit in the blazing sun (especially since a table in the shade had just become free but was supposedly "occupied"), we were very happy , not having arrived at all. If you don't have time to point out the seats when making a reservation by phone, you should consider whether you have chosen the right career and not let your stress and frustration out on potential guests or make them feel like they are unwanted with children. Really outrageous.

Great restaurant with a large terrace, stunning views. Diverse menu and very exciting drinks. Particularly recommended: pulled pork burger and the homemade lemonade! And best of all: even when the terrace is full, the service is very attentive and friendly.

Very nice location with a beautiful view. Food was okay, tarte flambée was very good, the rest was rather mediocre. Proud prices and the service was unfortunately very poor. Had reserved a table. In summer, half of all tables are in the blazing sun in the evenings, and waiters were annoyed. Price-performance doesn't fit.

I'm at a loss for words... short and sweet... wine in plastic glasses doesn't work at all. Food was good.

Paradise in the greater RT area. With pleasant music and good food you have a spectacular view from the Alb to beyond the Fildern.

The Waldcafe Pfullingen is a real insider tip! The service is first class, friendly and attentive. The view is simply sensational and invites you to linger. The food is delicious. A perfect place to relax! 5 Stars!

The restaurant has a beautiful view. However, the service could be a little more attentive and unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations.

Highly recommended, especially when the weather is nice. Terrace with a wonderful view towards Albtrauf, over Pfullingen and Reutlingen. There is also a small playground for the children and is ideally located for a walk before or after dinner. Also very easy to reach by car. Not an excessive number of dishes, but very good in terms of quality and taste. Not exactly cheap in price but reasonable in this day and age. Good friendly service. We'd love to come back.

Wonderful view and very friendly and competent service. Unfortunately, the unnecessary music is too loud to enjoy the evening. And wine in plastic glasses? It doesn't work at all. Then what quality of wine is this that is served in plastic glasses? (Glass glasses are only available when ordering bottles).

Just beautiful! We sat on the terrace with a small group. The view alone is worth the visit. Everyone's food was very, very tasty and the service was unique. It's not easy to find good staff. The Fritz definitely did something right here. Funny, cheerful, fast, friendly and absolutely customer-oriented. I would like to come here again.

The Waldcafé is really a nice location, very relaxed, great view, nice service, but the prices are just a tad too high.

Unfortunately the tarte flambée did not have the expected quality, it was very dry and very thinly topped! But the super friendly waiter promised to do better next time

Were there on our wedding day - great view, great ambience. BUT: Wine from plastic glasses is a NO-GO! That's OK for juice glasses for children, but for a restaurant in this location, with its own standards and prices, glass wine glasses should be a given. We were moderately disappointed when the staff didn't really understand this well-intentioned criticism - a shame!

Great view over Pfullingen, up to the Swabian Alb and over the Stuttgart television tower! Very nice and competent service. Great starting point for walks and hikes.

Very nice excursion restaurant above the city of Pfullingen. Magnificent distant view. Friendly staff and it's nice to sit outside. The prices are a bit expensive, the food is delicious.

Great view - simply unbeatable! House soda is extremely tasty and the dishes have something for everyone - from vegan bowls to vegetarian to pulled pork burgers 🍔 - we enjoyed it!

The food and the view were outstanding. Unfortunately there was only one waitress present to take and collect the orders. Given the number of guests, this led to longer waiting times. Nevertheless, I would like to conclude by saying that it is a very nice restaurant with nice staff and a great view.

Schöner Ort mit gutem Essen. Die Bedienung ist nur leider völlig überfordert und es gibt nur 1 Person bei der man bezahlen kann, man sollte sich auf lange Wartezeiten einstellen. Zudem ist die Kassiererin/Chefin sehr laut und geht 0 auf Gäste Anlässe ein

Leider sehr schlecht organisiert. Nur eine Bedienung die Bestellungen aufnimmt. Die beiden anderen bringen nur und räumen ab. 20 min gewartet, niemand kam. Mussten leider woanders hin. Sehr schade für eine so schöne Location

Leider nur noch ein Schatten früherer Tage. Sinnbildlich auch das nicht geräumte und gemähte Gras drum rum. „Chef“ vom Fritz ab Lustlosigkeit kaum zu überbieten. Früher war das eins der besten Läden in der Umgebung.

Super schön und tolle Atmosphäre

Wir hatten reserviert, große Auswahl an Gerichten, das Essen wurde schnell serviert und richtig lecker. Bei den Getränke war mir der Wein zu warm es schien das alle ein wenig überfordert gewesen sind. Preis Leistung fürs Essen war gut aber bei den Getränken war es mir zu teuer.

Ein sehr schöner Ort mitten in der Natur 🤩

Alles in allem ein nettes Plätzchen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

-Essen war gut. -Wenn schönes Wetter ist, ist es draußen sehr schön. -Das essen ist für die Portion etwas teuer. -Bedienung war freundlich

Ambiente ist sehr schön, man hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Bedienung war freundlich. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich etwas gehoben, was ich am gebotenen Essen jedoch nicht nachvollziehen konnte. Portionsgrößen sind mittel, allzu großen Hunger sollte man nicht mitbringen.

İch komme definitiv wieder. Vielen Dank für das köstliche Essen.

Nettes Restaurant mit umwerfendem Ausblick. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und Service. Das Essen ist gut, vegetarische und vegane Optionen sind auch vorhanden. Jedoch jetzt keine kulinarische Achterbahnfahrt. Die Haus-Limonade war sehr lecker.

Ein gemütliches Lokal mit einem traumhaften Ausblick und einem Service, der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Und das Essen ist lecker und von sehr guter Qualität.

Sehr gutes Essen, super Aussicht und man kann hier sehr entspannt ein paar Stunden verweilen und etwas trinken. Allerdings war der Service nicht so toll. 2 Bedienungen waren für die ca 40 Gäste (eine Business Gruppe war auch vor Ort) einfach zu wenig und sie wirkten wirklich überfordert. Wir haben über 30min auf die Rechnung gewartet und das ist dann schon etwas lange. Aber mit besserer Aufstellung beim Service Personal wird das definitiv besser. Mal schauen wie es nächstes Mal ist. Bis dann!

Tolle Aussicht über Pfullingen! Wir haben unsere Standesamtliche Hochzeit dort gefeiert und es war ein wunderschöner Abend. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Es lohnt sich aber auch einfach nur am Abend auf ein Getränk vorbei zu schauen.

Comemorei meu aniversário, fui muito bem atendida e tudo estava uma delicia. Além disso, é o melhor lugar em Pfullingen para ver o pôr do sol acompanhada de um bom drink. Tem um terraço com almofadas voltado para o pôr do sol.

Lieblingslocation für einen schönen Sommerabend. Auf der Terrasse mit gigantischer Aussicht einen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Interessante Speisekarte - schwäbisch, Fusionsküche, mediterran, alles von guter Qualität und Geschmack.

An einem schönen Sommerabend der ideale Platz, um den Sonnenuntergang mit einem fantastischen Weitblick zu erleben. Gutes Getränke- und Speiseangebot.

Wir hatten eine Tischreservierung für den Abend und wollten diese am Nachmittag etwas nach hinten verschieben - am Telefon habe ich sehr mürrisch zu verstehen bekommen, dass das angeblich nicht möglich sei. Bei Ankunft haben wir einen Tisch ohne direkte Aussicht bekommen. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung, nichts wirklich auszusetzen, aber auch kein wohlfühl-Faktor. Das Essensangebot, für mein Empfinden, aus zu vielen verschiedenen Richtungen - griechische, asiatische, italienische, deutsche Küche. Mir wäre eine Richtung, die raffiniert umgesetzt ist, lieber. Das Essen war ok. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir Tapas - war in Ordnung, aber einfach. Zum Hauptgang gab es einmal eine Bowl, welche solide war. Der Burger mit Kartoffeln sah etwas lieblos aus, war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Unser Ding war es leider nicht und wir hatten es exklusiver erwartet.

Bei schönem Wetter sehr zu empfehlen. Man sitzt unglaublich schön und hat eine Aussicht die man kaum nochmal findet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Wurstsalat sehr schmackhaft.
