We had a great time today in a cozy restaurant with delicious food 😋 and very attentive staff 👌 We'd love to come back!🫶🫶🫶🫶

Rump steak with pepper sauce and fried potatoes. Veal schnitzel with fried potatoes and cranberries. Before that, a kaft broth with semolina dumplings. Everything was very tasty and friendly service. They even called again to point out the defective EC device. Very nice atmosphere with a view of the riding arena.

The dining room has a nice ambience. We always like it very much 👍

Oh yes, the dining room in Herborn, it is so cozy and beautiful there. The food is absolutely amazing and the girls are all so lovely. I come from Bavaria but visit here often. I have to eat there every time or if there's no space, we order something to take home. I just love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very nice staff and very tasty, We had 2 dining room burgers and they blew us away in a positive sense, they were so delicious that I could eat 10 more because of the taste, unfortunately you always get tired of them so quickly. Thanks to the team Very good 👍 Keep it up

Today we had a 'goose to go' with dumplings, red cabbage and sauce. Perfectly prepared, all we had to do was finish cooking the goose in our own oven and heat up the side dishes. Prepared a wonderful meal in a relaxed manner. The taste was like a dream, as if we had eaten directly in the restaurant. Best recommendation…and not just for the goose.

Had dinner with 4 colleagues. Great atmosphere with friendly service. Pepper schnitzel is a highlight and the falafel burger is also a delight for vegetarians. We always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately, the pepper schnitzel tasted as if a pack of Tic Tac had been stirred into the sauce. But that wasn't the worst by far. We wanted to order an apple crumble for dessert, but we were then told that we had to eat it outside because our table would be reserved for someone else in 20 minutes, something that had never been discussed before. I've never experienced anything so cheeky! To top it off, an ice cream and an espresso were forgotten. That was the first and last time!!!

We spontaneously had dinner here on a Friday. We were quite early (~5:30 p.m.) and were lucky that there was still a table available. As a rule, however, it is advisable to make a reservation - during our visit, some of those who had not reserved unfortunately had to be sent away. The restaurant's name says it all: the dining room is furnished like a large dining room - cozy and familiar. The service is very friendly. For food there is good home-style cuisine - including burgers, schnitzel or cheese spaetzle. Vegan dishes are also offered and are marked accordingly on the menu. The food is very tasty and the portions are very generous. The prices are average, not cheap but not expensive either (mushroom cream schnitzel with fries €16.50; winter burger with fries €15.50). We'd love to come back!

Our favorite restaurant in Herborn. We're actually regulars 😉 The food is always top notch, whether it's the hottest burgers in the world, the Cordon, which comes close to the Austrian one (at least) or the delicious salads. ...the Teges menu shouldn't be forgotten either...as well as the recurring whiskey tasting...In addition, great and constantly changing wines with a small recommendation of the current "selection" on the table. Great atmosphere and the hosts anyway ❤️

The food is great! German specialties! Friendly staff! Prices absolutely OK. Unfortunately not barrier-free. At the entrance the stairs and the toilets in the basement. A disadvantage and a bit difficult for walkers. Unfortunately not manageable for a wheelchair. At most, the beer garden outside. However, I would recommend that there is a lot of room for improvement. The old wooden chairs are not very comfortable. There are also more comfortable chairs or one or two benches wouldn't be bad. There's really nothing else to criticize. Only this seating furniture really needs to be replaced.

Very tasty food...German quality with an extra touch of something different. Tasty pepper sauce or mushroom sauce. Dessert was delicious ice cream. Location inside is not really big so make a reservation!!! We were lucky to have a delicious meal in the garden in London.

Es hat alles zu 100% gestimmt! Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen, welche auch Tagesempfehlungen vorschlagen. Die Qualität der Speisen war 1a. Frisch und sehr geschmackvoll. Das Gemüse hatte Biss, der Salat knackig und sehr lecker. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten und sehr zart. Alles einfach super! Sehr zu empfehlen.

But it's better to call ahead and ask if there's anything available, as it's always busy. Absolutely worth a visit!🤤

The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful. The rump steak was cooked to perfection and wonderfully soft. The meat is just great. Service, Pauline, was very friendly and quick. The waiting time for the food was very short. Restaurant is only recommended. We will be back.

Absolutely recommended! The promise on the homepage that you would be welcomed "not just as a guest, but as a friend" was completely fulfilled. We ate outside on the terrace with ten people. This is beautifully and invitingly furnished. The service is quick and incredibly friendly. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The meal I had was a chanterelle schnitzel advertised and recommended on a blackboard with fried potatoes and an additional side salad. The food was perfectly seasoned, great quality and most importantly hot! Plus two large apple spritzers and a strawberry punch with fresh strawberries. The total for everything was €36. The price-performance ratio can therefore be assessed as entirely positive. Unfortunately, I've never been here before. But that will change in the future! I'm still very pleased with the overall conclusion, which is why I can and must definitely give it 5 stars.

Very nice place. The atmosphere is really great, the terrace is very good, the service was perfect with very kind and very efficient waitresses who did everything to understand our very rudimentary German, thanks to her. The portions are very generous and the price was really fair. Great evening 🙂

We have visited the EssZimmer several times and the quality of the food was consistently very good. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food was always served quickly and special requests or reorders were addressed without any problems. I also think it's great that in addition to the normal menu, there is always a changing menu with seasonal dishes. We would be happy to come back any time!

Comfortably furnished, like a dining room, (just with a view of a riding arena 👍) good seasonal menu and the food is freshly prepared. There are schnitzels, salads, burgers and also smaller dishes and vegetarian options have also been considered. We'll definitely be back.

We were passing through and stumbled into this place without further ado. Luckily we also got a table as apparently only I had a reservation. Completely understandable when you put such delicious things on your plate. And it was rightly chosen as favorite restaurant by hr4. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The place is saved in my favorites in case I'm nearby and hungry :) Keep it up!

We had broccoli cream soup as a starter and for the main course 1x chilli burger and the dining room pan with blood, liver, meat and sausage with mashed potatoes😋. Surprised, you could say. I didn't expect such a nice, cozy atmosphere. But apparently a lot of people agree with me because it was really busy and it's better to reserve a spot before you go. The staff was very courteous and competent. The food was good and plentiful. I would go back at any time.

2 Personen, 18 Uhr, halbe Bauernente, Kässpätzle mit Salat, 2x alkoholfreier Apfelwein. Essen ein Traum, der Apfelwein genauso. Sehr nette und flotte Bedienung. Obwohl es dort gut besucht war, kam das Essen zügig, frisch und heiss auf den Tisch. Danke für den schönen Abend 🙏

Jedes Mal Enttäuschter. Am Anfang ein super Lokal mit wechselnder Speisekarte. Mittlerweile immer nur die selben Speisen. Dieses Mal das Rumpsteak probiert! Habe noch nie ein gekochtes Rumpsteak auf dem Teller gehabt. Es wurde sous vide gegart , hat aber danach keine Pfanne oder einen Grill gesehen . Alles sehr lieblos angerichtet. Aber der Service ist sehr nett.
