Tolles Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und Service. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der schwäbische Weinabend war ein besonderes Highlight. Freuen uns schon auf unsere nächsten Besuche!

Wir haben einen Tisch um 18:30 mit einem Vorlauf von 3 Tagen reserviert. Als wir erschienen, wurden wir für 20 Min. ignoriert. Keiner hat sich um uns gekümmert. Dann hat eine ältere Damen nach Reservierung geschaut und teilte uns mit, dass es keine Reservierung unter meinem Namen gab. Dann mussten wir wieder 15 Min. warten. Ich zeigte die Bestätigung durch OpenTable. Dann wurden wir zu einem Tisch für vier Personen geführt, obwohl ich für 5 Personen gebucht habe. Alle Tische sind unbedeckt, völlig anderes wie das Foto im Internet. Ich habe Freunde aus München zu einem guten Essen eingeladen. Schlimmer noch, wir konnten das Steak nicht bestellen, weil es nicht gab. Wir müssen uns mit anderem Essen zufrieden geben. Es war mehr als eine Enttäuschung. Für den Preis ist es nicht lohnenswert!

Sensationelles Essen und toller Service! Wir waren zu fünft zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Bergius und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Eigentlich wollten wir das 1200g Tomahawk-Steak bestellen, das aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage leider schon ausverkauft war. Der Restaurantleiter hat uns das jedoch sehr charmant erklärt und uns stattdessen ein 1200g Entrecôte angeboten. Ich muss ehrlich sagen: Das war das beste Steak, das ich je gegessen habe! Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Große Auswahl, leider war viel los und die Getränke per Bedienung haben etwas länger gedauert. Gebratenes usb persönlich zu viel Öl. Aber im großen und ganzen war es ein gelungener Brunch.

You can eat very well and cheaply there.

All-you-can-eat food of the cheapest quality; it seems they've just set up the leftovers from the Edeka butcher counter. Furthermore, one of the servers was very rude and unhelpful when I inquired about a reservation.

Friendliness isn't exactly a given, but the worst thing is the cleanliness. The woman making the Leberkäse roll wears gloves and touches food, money, and everything else with them without changing them. There's no receipt, either to prevent complaints or because the money goes into a cash box instead of the register. The food is good, but the hygiene is absolutely appalling. I've completely lost my appetite after that.

We had a very good meal. Our steak and salmon were cooked to perfection, the spaghetti "Mare" was delicious, and the salads were well-seasoned. The pizza was also very good.

I went there for dinner in the evening and received a very friendly welcome. After looking at the menu, I wanted to order a drink and soup to start. Somehow, the server forgot about it, which turned out to be a good thing in retrospect, because I got the drink and shortly after, a HUGE plate of soup. I really hadn't expected that at that price, but it meant I could choose something smaller when ordering my main course. The soup was really good, a portion like that for €4.90 – hats off! The pizza tasted okay, but for my taste, it was undercooked by about two minutes. The dessert was also good. All in all, not five stars, but a very good four stars because of the cleanliness, friendliness, and the price. The food isn't exactly fantastic, but it's not bad either, and quite honestly, I haven't had such good soup in a long time. Therefore, a visit is definitely worthwhile.

The food isn't what it used to be. You pay €7 for a thinly filled dürüm that doesn't even fill you up.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. I ordered two medium-rare tomahawk steaks, and both arrived burnt and overcooked. The tartare appetizer was already dark in color and not fresh. The staff just shrugged. The glasses and plates weren't clean. I wouldn't recommend it. I made a reservation four weeks in advance and was then given a different table, squeezed between other tables with no atmosphere.

Getränke werden bei der Bedienung bestellt. Wir mussten oft lange warten und dann nachfragen. Wir hätten sicherlich noch mehr Getränke konsumiert.

We were there for the first time yesterday; the portions were huge for the price and it tasted delicious.

Es war sooo ärgerlich, dass wir nachträglich nicht mehr das ermäßigte Menü dazubuchen konnten. Wir waren eine Gruppe und bei der Tischreservierung war noch nicht klar, wer welches Menü haben möchte. Auf meine Anfrage 3 Wochen im Lokal vor Ort hieß es, das kann nachträglich hinzugefügt werden. Das ging aber leider nicht und man konnte uns keine Lösung anbieten beziehungsweise, es hat sich dann niemand mehr zurückgemeldet auf meine Rückfrage hin. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr mit einer Gruppe aussuchen.

There was a wide selection for brunch, from boiled eggs to meatloaf, pizza, and fruit salad. There was plenty on offer. The price was reasonable.

Today we ordered salmon with Mediterranean vegetables. The salmon arrived, which was good, but the supposedly Mediterranean vegetables consisted of peas, carrots, and broccoli. My question is: what do these ingredients have to do with Mediterranean cuisine? When I asked what this had to do with Mediterranean vegetables, I was advised to find another restaurant for that price. Outrageous!

The food was very good, but a little more staff would be nice.

I'm consistently impressed by the quality, quantity, and price. Small requests are always accommodated. The server, Sabine, is a real gem.

We have been to Augsburg several times on business trips; I would say it's a hidden gem in Augsburg.

Another attempt… We had reserved weeks in advance and only got a table in the hallway, which involved a lot of running around and noise. It was very crowded and very loud. The somewhat more refined atmosphere of yesteryear, as we remembered Bergius from years ago, is completely gone. The brunch items were okay, but not as impressive as they used to be. I'd rather pay a few euros more for fewer coupon offers and focus on quality over quantity. Right now, it's quantity over quality. What a shame ☹️

We were at Bergius yesterday and were absolutely thrilled! The meat quality is first-class – we had the Tomahawk steak three times, everything perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. The portions are very generous, and all the side dishes and appetizers were excellent. Mr. Seng, the owner, is very friendly and gives advice with genuine passion. You can tell that someone has put their heart and soul into building a great restaurant here. The ambiance is also very pleasant – cozy, stylish, yet casual. We're already looking forward to the warmer season so we can enjoy the outdoor area and the terrace. Desserts will definitely be on the agenda next time – there was simply no room this time. Conclusion: An all-around successful restaurant that we highly recommend.

The pork fillet was inedible and undercooked. After complaining, there was no apology or any other comment; it was simply ignored. Which was a real shame, as we'd always been satisfied.

A €5.50 kebab for lunch was attractively priced but tasted really poor. Just threw it away after half... :(

I was very, very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance, the service, and above all the superbly presented and delicious food were simply fantastic. The chef himself also took care of us. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. Thank you all.

Wenn wir Augsburg besuchen ist das Bergius seit langem unsere erste Wahl. Sehr nette Bedienung, keine lange Wartezeiten und ein Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, das man in dieser Qualität nicht noch einmal finden wird. Rindfleisch aus eigener Qualitätszucht, einfach klasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I spontaneously stopped by for lunch and chose a table on the spacious, covered terrace. The waitress was there immediately, friendly, and happy to accommodate my special request and coordinate it with the kitchen. Drinks arrived promptly, followed shortly after by salad and main courses. Beautifully presented and delicious! I'll be coming here more often now. It was truly wonderful!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative reviews for brunch. Hot dishes were lukewarm or cold. The counter area was arranged in a chaotic manner. Plates were in the middle of the place. There was no proper area for bread; everything was left somewhere. Service only arrived at our table after we requested it, and we waited 45 minutes for drinks, by which time we had already finished our meals. The coffee was also cold. Despite making a reservation two months ago, we were given a table at the end. It was dirty and not set up, with no cushions, and when we asked which table I had reserved, there was no clear answer. We wouldn't go there again and can't recommend it.

We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. First of all, no one bothered to show us to our reserved table. Our drink order was taken after 30 minutes, and the drinks only arrived after we asked, and then after a total of 45 minutes. The food was satisfactory, but unfortunately, there are no children's meals. The service was abysmal overall. The restroom was very disappointing. This was a public Edeka restroom, and that's exactly what it looked like. It was substandard, which shouldn't be the case in a restaurant. A very large and delicious selection for brunch! It was lovingly prepared. However, we had to ask about our drinks four times, as the tables around us (who arrived after us) had already received theirs long before us. Because it was so busy, at one point all the tables were so close together that in some places you couldn't even stand up. This needs to be improved significantly. Otherwise, as I said, the food was very delicious!

The staff was overwhelmed, and hardly anyone spoke German. The food was okay. The buffet selection is very limited for allergy sufferers and isn't labeled. There are no small bowls for jam and honey. Drinks take forever to get.

Completely UNHYGIENIC! Food is handled without gloves. Of course, cash is also handled during this process, and then again in the food! Unfriendly staff, even the manager himself, is totally unfriendly. Absolutely not recommended.

I just wanted to get a Leberkässemmel (meatloaf sandwich). Someone called out to me, "One more minute." I stood there for 10 minutes, and the employee said he had other things to do. He didn't care. He wasn't in the mood. Apparently, they don't want to make money there. There were three other people in line with me, and we all left and got a Leberkässemmel from the bakery. You should train your staff and teach them "The customer is king." I will get my Leberkässemmel from somewhere else in the future.

Huge selection, something for everyone. Good service.

We visited this restaurant for brunch for the second time – and unfortunately, we were disappointed again. Food: The selection was okay, but the hot dishes were mostly lukewarm to cold. For the price, the value for money is unfortunately not right. Atmosphere: We were seated next to a discarded refrigerator, which didn't exactly contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The chairs were also heavily stained and looked unkempt. Service: Despite a reservation made three weeks in advance, we didn't get the reserved table – for the second time. We also had to wait over an hour for our drinks, which is absolutely unacceptable. Management: The manager showed no understanding or consideration for the situation. The interaction was cold, distant, and not very customer-oriented. Conclusion: After two negative experiences, we will not be visiting this restaurant again. It's a shame – the potential is there, but the service, organization, and customer interaction need to improve fundamentally.

Very good 👍 The pasta pizza tastes excellent. Great value for money. Next time I'll have the 1200g TOMAHAWK steak. The service was very attentive and friendly.

We traveled all the way from Mannheim, and it was more than worth it! At Das Bergius, hospitality is at its finest. The selection was incredibly diverse – and every single dish was a taste experience! You can tell right away: The food is cooked with love and served with heart. A very special thank you goes to the owner – what a wonderful person! She welcomed us with such warmth, as if we were old friends. Her cordiality, her attention to detail, and her passion for her job are palpable at every moment. You can see the love for her job in her eyes – and that's exactly what makes a visit to Das Bergius so special. We will definitely be back and can only recommend this restaurant to anyone who not only wants to eat well but also wants to feel completely at home. Thank you very much

A fantastic brunch with a huge selection (breakfast + pizza/steak/fish). Good coffee. Drinks are paid for separately, but really great for the price. We're deducting two stars because the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and couldn't keep up. Some of the counters/displays were very dirty, and there were dirty dishes everywhere. We sat back to back in the outdoor area—but that's not Bergius's fault. The people around us simply had no manners and took up a lot of space.

Wer auf große Portionen steht ist hier richtig. Wer jedoch eher auf Geschmack, Kochkunst und gemütliche Atmosphäre Wert legt sollte sich das ganze überlegen. Steak Medium bestellt, kam durch an. Wurde aber nicht berechnet. Ambiente ist nett eingerichtet aber man merkt den Kaufhausstyle. Salat war in Ordnung. Beim Nudelgericht fehlte leider der Geschmack. Für mich leider enttäuschend.

Unfortunately a disappointment. It says there are vegetarian options online, but in the end there was hardly anything, and the selection of "normal" food wasn't good either. The food also looked extremely unappetizing and I think it had been sitting around for a while. Although the price isn't high, the brunch isn't worth the money. In the end, we hardly ate anything because most of the food just didn't look good. The atmosphere inside is OK, but not good at all outside. Some of the staff were friendly, but overall the service was not good. The small positives we noticed unfortunately cannot make up for the absolutely terrible food. Maybe we were just unlucky and there on a bad day.

One of us had a snail in his food. The plate was simply taken away, even though half the food was still on it. No one deigned to apologize; we just heard the arrogant staff ranting about how we shouldn't be so fussy, because the salad was "organic." So organic means unwashed? I think the two in the fancy-dress suits were the bosses; they were just condescending and spiteful. The steaks were ordered medium-rare, but they were almost cooked. Definitely not recommended; there are definitely proper steakhouses with friendly staff nearby!

The ambiance is pleasant, and the service is decent. Unfortunately, we had a live snail in one of our salads. When we informed the server, she simply responded with "Well, I wonder." In the background, other employees remarked, "It's organic, after all." Even the restaurant manager didn't apologize and was only partially interested in hearing about it. We will therefore not be going there again.

Freunde und ich waren gestern beim Abendessen dort. Schneller Service, gutes Fleisch, AUSGEZEICHNETES Preisleistungsverhältnis. Als Gruppe hatte jeder ein großes Stück Fleisch bestellt welche alle gemeinsam zu Tisch kamen und die Garsrufen wurden auch gut getroffen, obwohl medium rare nicht einfach ist. Habe mich wohl gefühlt und würde das Restaurant jedem empfehlen. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Breakfast brunch on Sunday for 19.90 € highly recommended

Wir waren bereits mehrfach dort und früher immer sehr zufrieden. Leider war es beim letzten mal etwas anders. Wir saßen draußen und hatten fast unmittelbar neben uns eine „Raucher - Lounge“ die fleißig von Gästen und Personal genutzt wurde. Dh ständigen Zigaretten Geruch um uns. Das störte uns massiv. So eine Raucher Ecke gehört weit weg von ihr Essen genießenden Gästen. Das Essen selbst war teilweise lauwarm, und etwas liebloser als wir es gewohnt sind von diesem Restaurant zb die Bruschetta durchgeweicht dh kein bisschen kross, der Gemüseauflauf zerkocht dh Gemüse sehr weich und der Käse darauf zäh wie Gummi usw. Service: schmutzige Teller blieben lange stehen, es wurde nie nachgefragt bezüglich Getränken . Auch hier - eher lieblos . Das kennen wir von dort gar nicht. Früher hätte es in allen Punkten volle Punktzahl gegeben.

Das Essen war sehr lecker - zu dem war es auch optisch sehr schön angerichtet. Die Servicekraft war auch sehr aufmerksam.

Wir hatten einen Gutschein für ein Tomahawk-Menü und freuten uns riesig auf das Essen. Wir waren auf der Terrasse und wurden auch schnell bedient. Vorspeise war das Tartar vom Angusrind - sehr lecker und wenn man auch noch die Beilagen berücksichtigt schon fast ein Hauptgericht. Das Tomahawk war sehr groß und wir hatten es zu zweit nicht geschafft aufzuessen. Es war Medium auf den Punkt gebraten. Dazu gab es wieder sehr üppige Beilagen. Eine Seite Salat mit Johannesbeeren und auf der anderen Seite gegrilltes Gemüse und Rosmarinkartoffeln. Alles war sehr schön hergerichtet. Der Rest wurde uns eingepackt, denn es wäre zu schade gewesen es zu entsorgen. Es wurde auch professionell gemacht. Als Nachspeise habe es ein Tiramisu, allerdings fehlte uns hier der Geschmack von Kaffee und Amreetto. Ein wichtiger Punkt, der zum Abzug in der Bewertung führt ist der Umstand, dass wir im Nachherein feststellen mussten, dass uns Zuviel Wein in Rechnung gestellt wurde. Da sollte man dann doch aufpassen!

Four of us went to Bergius for brunch today; we booked the package through Groupon. There's plenty of parking right outside. The ambiance takes a bit of getting used to, as the Edeka supermarket is in the same building; it's somewhat reminiscent of a bakery-cafeteria atmosphere. The noise level was a bit unpleasant at times when the restaurant was full. But it's nicely set up and decorated, so it's fine for me. The selection of food on offer was really large, from sausage, cheese, jam, various egg dishes, salads, vitello tonato and other Italian classics, potatoes, asparagus, cakes, other pastries, and pizza. Of course, there were also plenty of pretzels and rolls of all kinds. The food tasted okay. Nothing special, but by no means bad either; just a good average. The price-performance ratio was completely okay! All in all, it was okay, and we were all full. The service was a bit sleepy but attentive.

Plastic lid in the kebab. I found the pizza chef particularly unfriendly. I visited over a year ago. I won't be back. Never.

We had dinner there on Tuesday evening. We had pizza, salmon steak, and tagiatelle with prawns. The pizza was not good, not seasoned, and almost not cooked through. The salmon steak was incredibly fatty and, for me, not palatable. The vegetables and potatoes were swimming in oil! The tagiatelle was very bland in taste—barely seasoned. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. The service wasn't the best either. Too bad—we won't be back.

We had Groupon vouchers and were surprised by the quality of the food. The preparation was good; I would have preferred a seared tomahawk steak, but you get a lot for the price. I also think the ambiance is very chic. I would happily come back here even without a Groupon voucher.

Meat grilled too dark and dry, never again

We went there for brunch on Sunday. It was a mass procession, and it felt like you were sitting in an Edeka supermarket. Very loud noise level. The food wasn't good at all: pre-baked rolls and nothing fresh. Everything was very salty. Service took a very long time.

We attended the Sunday brunch with four adults and a toddler. The food distribution was very reminiscent of a cafeteria setting, where you had to wait in a long line – sometimes you even found yourself in the adjacent Edeka supermarket. Plates were difficult to access, and you had to search for them in the middle of the line. The food selection was generally very simple. Many of the baked goods, such as rolls and pretzels, looked like frozen goods. The pizza on offer was unfortunately cold. Overall, the concept gives the impression of mass processing. If you're looking for a high-quality and relaxed brunch experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

Unfortunately the table we booked (we booked via OpenTabel: table on the terrace) was not possible. When I asked and said that we specifically wanted to sit outside and had booked it that way, I was just told that it wasn't possible (18 degrees, sun, Mother's Day). It's a shame otherwise we probably wouldn't have gone there. We had to wait 45 minutes for our 1 coffee and orange juice/champagne and only after repeated inquiries did someone come and take our order for the drinks. Unfortunately, the second time (that was after 2 hours) nothing was brought to us, so we had to go to the counter. But the food was very good, big selection!

The positive thing is that the selection at the buffet was very large and freshly prepared. Great value for money for brunch. The service is scarce, despite the fact that there are many people behind the bar. I didn't like the ambience at the front tables in the bistro area, you sit next to the Edeka cash registers and it's loud. That might be fine for a quick coffee but less so for a Sunday brunch. I find sharing the Edeka customer toilets to be of limited use, as they are unfortunately not really well maintained and are a bit far away. Overall, I would recommend the brunch because of the large buffet, but if you want a leisurely brunch then not so much.

Seng has a top upscale meal in the restaurant at the pick-up station are the knuckles of our dog. The meat is teeth and the crust is like a rag so the cook in the kitchen who spoils the restaurant with food can't help it that the unqualified staff at the food counter sell such unfinished meat. It's a real shame. I've complained about it to the staff several times but they think it's great. Yes, it's a shame I only eat in the restaurant because the chef is really great in contrast to them others

Das Bruncherlebnis war sehr angenehm. Es gab reichlich und feines von allem was ein Frühstück ausmacht. Später gutes Mittagessen und oben drauf der Nachtisch.

Doner kebab and dürum, meat very flaky, completely full of meat, hardly any salad in it, you could only really eat it after half of it was taken out.

Were there several times but that was really the last time. Drinks and appetizers came immediately, but that was it. A 1.2kg steak medium was ordered for the main course. This came completely raw inside. The waiter took it again and 5 minutes later he came back with the steak, which was supposedly recooked, but it was still completely raw and cold. Plus, the meat was like chewing gum. 70% of the steak was returned. The dessert (mousse chocolate) was like raw cookie dough in consistency. Service disaster (the finished main course was on the table for 45 minutes until someone cleared it away). And there wasn't even anything going on in the store except for 4-5 tables. Absolutely never again. No recommendation

Service catastrophic. Starter was forgotten, you shouldn't point this out to the staff because an argument broke out in the service team, which was then brought to our table (via mutual blame within the team and also at us) while we wanted to eat in peace. Took our entire evening down. The starter and main course came at the same time because the kitchen was closing. Afterwards, the service apologized with a fresh pizza to take away, even though according to them the kitchen was already closed? Ambience much too bright, in a supermarket, toilets from the supermarket have to be used (smell like a rest stop). Most of the food was tasty, but the pasta dishes were completely overcooked.

Vorspeise wurde vergessen, man darf das Personal nicht darauf hinweisen, weil daraufhin im Serviceteam ein Streit ausgebrochen ist, der uns dann an den Tisch getragen wurde (über gegenseitige Schuldzuweisungen im Team und auch an uns), während wir in ruhe Essen wollten. Hat unseren ganzen Abend runtergezogen. Vorspeise und Hauptgang kamen dann gleichzeitig, weil die Küche schließt. Im Nachhinein hat sich der Service mit einer frischen Pizza zum mitnehmen entschuldigt, obwohl doch die Küche laut ihnen schon geschlossen war? Ambiente viel zu hell, in einem Supermarkt, Toiletten vom Supermarkt müssen benutzt werden (stinken wie in einer Raststätte). Essen war größtenteils lecker, aber die Nudelgerichte waren total verkocht.

We ate at Bergius a few times. Everything has always been great so far. Unfortunately we have to refrain from visiting the restaurant in the future. Unfortunately, we were insulted and discriminated against over the phone by a very unfriendly restaurant management. There are around 14 million foreigners in Germany, and the fact that not every single one of them speaks the language according to your expectations should not be a reason to insult the person because of this. However, if you feel a certain superiority complex in such situations, I would like to remind you that you work in the hospitality industry and are allowed to feel empathy for the guest.

Wir waren einige Male beim Bergius zum Essen. Bis Dato war immer alles super. Leider müssen wir in Zukunft davon absehen das Restaurant zu besuchen. Wir wurden bedauerlicherweise von einer sehr unfreundliche Restaurantleitung Telefonisch beleidig und diskriminiert. Es sind nun mal ca.14 Millionen Ausländer im Deutschland, das nicht jede einzelne die Sprache entsprechend Ihrer Vorstellung beherrscht sollte kein Grund sein die Person aufgrund dessen zu beleidigen. Sollten sie jedoch aus solche Situationen eine gewisse Überlegenheitskomplex fühlen, darf Ich sie gerne daran erinnern das Sie in der Gastgewerbe Arbeiten und entsprechend Empathie für den Gast empfinden dürfen.

Good food, but otherwise just terrible. We got the idea of ​​having breakfast at Bergius through a Groupon voucher and had to make a reservation weeks in advance. Unfortunately, there wasn't a popular restaurant waiting for us, but an EDEKA supermarket that was presented with tables. The noise was very reminiscent of a market hall and I couldn't enjoy breakfast. Not a second time!

Sehr gutes Essen und ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, deswegen absolut empfehlenswert!

Doner kebab is prepared by Japs who constantly converse in their language. Meat has more fat on it than anything else, the staff is totally unfriendly and uncoordinated. You used to be able to eat there...now it's just a waste of money and time

We went to the Bergius restaurant with a group of 13 people – and it was simply great! Everyone ordered a different dish, and yet all the dishes came to the table at the same time and fresh. The ingredients were of high quality and lovingly prepared, and every dish tasted excellent. We were particularly impressed by the warm and attentive service - we felt completely at home. A huge thank you to the whole team – we’ll be happy to come back!

This evening we had a wonderful dinner with twelve people in this great restaurant with good food and, above all, super friendly service staff 😉 For the next team dinner I have made reservations for ten people! Absolute recommendation 👍🏻

We recently visited the Bergius with eight people. The restaurant was already well attended and some groups with many guests had already taken their seats. Hats off to serving these many guests in a short time and in a very friendly manner with very few staff! The food was excellent for all of us and the T-bone steaks in particular were amazing. Our men were overjoyed and the quality of the meat left nothing to be desired! Thanks to the team, the kitchen and the very hard-working restaurant manager for a great evening 😉 We'll definitely be back!

Extremely crowded and very loud. The service can't keep up with clearing the tables. Unfortunately the coffee cup was only half full. There is a lot of selection of jam and rolls and pastries. Unfortunately, I was missing fruit salad and more fresh fruit.
