We were in the self-service area yesterday at 1:30 p.m. No more liver cheese pizza. My husband took a fried roll. The roast was so dry that it almost suffocated when eaten without a drink. I ordered kebab, but asked that the completely burnt meat be removed for now. The Asian employee did this. Then the kebab was slapped onto a plate. The meat, the 2 slices of tomato and the sauce fell onto the glass counter. And it should stay that way!!! I asked to put the kebab on another plate... no, IT was pushed from the (dirty) counter, over the edge of the plate, into the kebab. The meat was hard, completely dry, gnarly, cold, fatty and had tendons in it. The salad consisted only of stalks. Everything inedible!!! Sorry, it was mess. We asked an employee to our kl. table, opposite d. to come to the counter. He lectured us loudly and several times: the kebab was made of beef and that it was dry, unlike poultry. (The beef would have to be sliced much thinner). He turned around and continued to be bored with the Asian ladies in the messy area. No excuses. The guest tables were dirty, but private conversations took priority. We have never been presented with such a “gastronomic experience”. I left hungry. Never, never again.

The quality of the food was really bad. Neither seasoned nor well-done. Potato salad was also very bad. Prices are definitely too high compared to the quality. The employee at the counter wiped his runny nose with the glove he used to touch the food. The other one was also a bit inappropriate. The tables wobble and you can't eat properly on them. Generally not recommended.

I have had lunch at Bergius many times and only rate the lunch menu here. First the positive: The service is good and very friendly. About the dishes: 1) Pasta The pasta tastes okay. Not very good and by no means outstanding, but okay. Quite okay for the price and for a lunch menu. One criticism, however, is that the portions vary extremely: sometimes the plate is well filled, sometimes it is at best what is called a “magentratzerl” in Bavaria. I've mentioned this several times and nothing has changed. 2) The kebab The kebab is - even if you look at it kindly - by far one of the worst kebabs I know. The inflationary use of meat doesn't change this. The thing is simply inedible - in every respect: meat/vegetable ratio, taste of the meat, etc. Really scary 3) The pizza Standard at best - but still okay for the price. 4) The burgers The burgers are served with an almost raw meat patty as standard. See photo. Quite apart from the fact that eating almost raw minced meat is generally not recommended, the least you should do is ask the guest how he would like his meat. In any case, I enjoyed the last burger for days afterwards. Finally: The staff is accommodating, polite and nice. But that was it. I've said everything about the dishes I tested - I definitely won't test any more. Especially not in the evening - if you're looking for a good Italian restaurant, there's much better in Augsburg. By the way: I contacted Bergius a few weeks ago via their website and gave my feedback - no response whatsoever. Treating customers with respect is different.

Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. Brunch included 1 cup of coffee and 1/2 glass of orange juice. The offer was very manageable, the pizza was cold. The gas heater fan didn't help create a nice ambience.

A complaint for “defamation” was filed with Google against my review written over a year ago (2 stars, well and balanced, consistent with many other reviews). Apparently the operators are trying to cover up systematic errors in their restaurant through lawsuit agencies. That doesn't work at all! Abnormal service! The four of us ordered pizza and then wanted to sit at a table in the restaurant where the bald waiter shouted at us from 15 meters that we weren't allowed to sit at a normal table with our "€5.50 pizza" because a pizza was too much be cheap. Instead, he aggressively yelled at us and asked us to go to the bistro table. Almost all of these tables were empty and unoccupied. The bistro table that he chased us to was so tiny that the plates didn't even fit on it together. I've never experienced anything like this in my life.

One of the highlights of December 2nd, 2024 was my lunch at Bergius (at Edeka), where you get full for 6.90 euros and are served courteously by a very pretty young woman. Whether she enjoys the job, whether she particularly liked me or whether she remembers me? No idea. In any case, you and the kitchen did a great job and that's how it works with the tip. I only give 4 points for the ambience because, at least in my place, it was slightly drafty. Otherwise the ambience is excellent and if I lived nearby and was retired I would probably eat there every day. It feels like 1,000 others have already come up with this idea, because the hut is full of pensioners at lunchtime 😅

Were there today for the first and last time for Sunday brunch. We reserved and got table 60. This table number is at the entrance to the supermarket. Sitting there is uncomfortable, drafty and very cold. We asked for another table at the back of the restaurant and received the unfriendly answer: "I have 208 people today." We kept our jackets and coats on and hurried with the lukewarm food. The concept of brunch still has a lot of room for improvement, as dishes and salt are often missing and the staff seems overwhelmed. .

Went there because of a Groupon voucher for the 3-course menu with a 1200g tomahawk steak. There is enough parking space available. Well attended at lunchtime (1 p.m.). Ambience modern and tidy. Conditions were friendly but sometimes overwhelming. We often had to wait a little longer for our orders. There was a longer waiting time just to order drinks. Conclusion about the food: portions ok, main course side dishes cold, dessert tiramisu was good. The steak was good. However, the visit was only acceptable because of the Groupon voucher with the discounts. Won't come anymore.

I went there for the first time today with a friend. I became aware of this through the voucher book. You wouldn't expect it, but the restaurant is tastefully decorated in the back area. We were here for the first time and chose the tomahawk steak for 2 people, beef tartare, tiramisu and mousse au chocolat. All four things were really excellent. Although the restaurant is in a department store, that doesn't detract from the quality of the cuisine. The whole story could just be better signposted, then the restaurant would certainly be easier to find and more frequented. We'll be back ☺️

Was there for the first time at the beginning of the week. Since I didn't know it and 200g of steak wasn't enough for me, I ordered two. My friend also ordered one. All three fillet steaks were exactly the same. Medium, tasted great. The side dishes were also good. Firm to the bite, not too cooked and not raw either. The salad was also good. The fillet strips in my friend's salad were excellent. The dessert was just amazing. I went again yesterday. Five. Colleagues from work. The Bergius was completely full. That says it's good. All colleagues were enthusiastic about the salad with fillet strips. The steaks were all great. Of course you can look for a needle in a haystack and find something that doesn't suit you. The evening was extremely satisfying for us. I will always go back. Thank you very much for the lovely evening, to the Bergius team.

We were here for Sunday brunch. The selection was varied and changed again and again. Everything tasted great. However, the service was subpar. We waited over half an hour for the drink order to be taken and then another almost half hour for the drinks to arrive. We didn't even get the orange juice that was included in the price, but we had to pay the full price or didn't receive any "compensation" for it. Even when our glasses were empty, no one came anymore. We were basically left high and dry. The ambience is okay. There was enough space for everyone, just a little cold in the room.

My colleagues and I often get pizza there. The pizza is very good, but what I find really bad is that there are no consistent times when pizza is served. Sometimes pizza is served from 11:00 a.m., then sometimes not until 11:30 a.m., and today I was there and the person in charge told me it wasn't until 12:00 p.m. And the two people who are responsible for it are always very rude. I think I'll have to talk to the CEO about that.

At first I was a little skeptical because there was no signage on the food at the buffet. It would be helpful if the dishes were labeled so that guests know what they can take. Unfortunately, the coffee did not meet my expectations and could definitely be improved. But then Peter, our service employee, won my heart with his hospitality and demeanor! His kindness and attentiveness made all the difference and I give the 5 stars because of him alone. A big plus: Even people with celiac disease can have breakfast here without any problems. Peter ensures that their needs are taken into account and no wish is left unfulfilled. Even though I drove 80 km, it was really worth it - especially thanks to Peter's exceptional hospitality. Disappointing experience – unfortunately not worth repeating I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and unfortunately my expectations were not met. Although the atmosphere was pleasant, the food and service left a lot to be desired. The buffet offered an interesting selection, but the goods we chose were rather average. The flavors weren't particularly pronounced. The service was also mediocre. Although the service was friendly, we had to wait a long time for our drinks and it seemed like the staff were overwhelmed. That spoiled the whole experience a bit. Overall, my visit to the restaurant was disappointing. There are many other places that offer a better dining experience. Therefore I probably won't come back. It's a shame, because I was hoping for more. (Luckily we had a Groupon voucher)

We were there for brunch on a Sunday, price-performance ratio is okay, service could be improved a bit by being friendlier and more competent (you can tell that the temporary staff are not trained well enough). The quality of service probably decreases as the number of guests increases, so the issue has to be addressed with training and team meetings. Otherwise keep it up! By the way, I really liked the table decoration, see picture!

We were here for lunch. The food tasted good and was also very plentiful. What was strange was that the bacon-wrapped pork medallions didn't have any bacon wrapping, but rather strips of bacon in the sauce. Oh well. The service was not very attentive, the covered wine and water glasses were not put away but the dinner plate was squashed in front of it. What was very negative were the crumbs under the neighboring tables.

The cutting machine didn't want to cut properly and 4-5 times again and yes in the end everything was cold and on top of that burnt over-seasoned meat was served, the rest was tasteless, that's really one by far the worst...

Went there once for lunch - it was ok. Service but slow and not attentive. The tiramisu doesn't deserve the name - it's a good thing we didn't have an Italian with us. But the kebab is a total failure. The meat on the skewer should have put you off, but if you dare, you are served a loveless flatbread with gristly meat and tasteless sauce. The price is ok, but I would have preferred to pay more for something edible.

Wir waren schon oft im Das Bergius. Waren auch immer begeistert. Werden vermutlich so schnell nicht mehr kommen. Angefangen vom kalten, zugigen Platz, sodass wir sogar unsere Jacken anziehen mussten weil wir gefroren haben. Die heiße Schokolade und der Kaffee waren nur noch lauwarm als wir diesen nach langer Zeit erhalten haben. Hier haben wir aber auch nichts gesagt, da das Personal ohnehin sichtlich überfordert war. Das Essen war größtenteils nur lauwarm oder gar kalt. (obwohl es hätte heiß sein sollen) Es gab leider keine Waffeln obwohl diese auf der Homepage beworben worden sind. Ein großer Teil der Speisen war bereits um 12 Uhr leer und auf Nachfrage haben wir dann die Antwort erhalten "es wird nichts mehr nach gemacht". Hier haben wir mehrere Menschen fragen sehen und alle haben die selbe Antwort erhalten. Es war dieses Mal wirklich enttäuschend für eine 60 km Anreise. So schnell werden wir leider nicht mehr kommen.

Our first visit to Bergius will also be our last. We had brunch. When we were seated at a table, we were asked for drinks, which unfortunately weren't brought until quite some time later. I noticed that my friend was given a dirty spoon… otherwise the staff were friendly. When it came to eating, what stood out, in our opinion, was the limited selection of breakfast and lunch foods. Furthermore, they were often a bit untidy on the serving trays and some tablets lacked gripping tongs. The biggest negative point for me was the taste of the food. Almost everything was cold and not really tasty. For €20.00 I can definitely expect more here. Fried eggs were not refilled before 1pm (brunch until 2pm). The atmosphere is nice and there was enough parking space.

Positively surprised! At first I was skeptical about the prices because it is quite cheap, but everything was delicious and the tomahawk was cooked to perfection, tender and just perfect. Good wine for a great price, prices like that no longer exist in Augsburg. Delicious desserts. Child had spaghetti Bolognese and was very satisfied ))) The waiter was friendly and well-mannered ))) it wasn't busy and which is a small deduction for me, although it is separate from the restaurant and the shopping center, it is still an open concept. On one side there are people eating kebab and on the other side is the restaurant... That takes away from the cozy atmosphere. It's a real shame... Music in the background would also be nice.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The meatloaf was handled without gloves or tongs, which is simply unhygienic. The seller even touched his mouth while touching other people's food. It was disgusting to see him wringing his fingers while serving and clearly not washing his hands. He also touched money and then continued to serve the food. Something like that doesn't work! I definitely won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant!! Something like this should be reported to the health department. I even have pictures with me to prove how it works.

We've eaten there several times and can't complain about the quality of the food. BUT: about 2 months ago we experienced that several guests at different tables were simply ignored by the staff, even though they were clearly visible. We thought the waitresses might have had a bad day, but we were served. MORE BUT. We were there in the afternoon of August 24th. Some guests sat outside and were also served. We sat in the restaurant and the waiter walked almost directly past the table every time. His colleague set other tables. It was only after a long time that the waiter decided to bring us the menu; he didn't even ask about the drinks. We decided relatively quickly on two meals and showed this by putting the menu aside. The waiter wasn't interested. His colleague came towards our table twice, turned back 1 to 2 meters in front of it and ignored us. Mind you, we've been there several times and left a good tip. The boss was standing nearby, chatting with guests and not paying attention. We demonstratively placed the cards on the table and left the restaurant. Nobody was interested in that either. Although the quality of the food is good, we don't go there anymore because the quality of the staff is terrible.

I rarely write reviews but this is the worst kebab I've ever eaten. Mainly it's about the meat, it doesn't taste good and it's gristly like crap! I just want to warn anyone who is passing through or gets lost in Göggingen about this. I was there a few months ago and now again, no improvement. Do yourself a favor, go to Kral, I go there every week and have never been disappointed.

The worst Dürüm in my life. The meat is simply disgusting. You couldn't even chew it, it was so tough. All other ingredients were fresh. A lot of this meat is also put on it. It's better to only have 1/3 of it of higher quality. I ended up just eating the bread and vegetables. I had to throw away meat. Never again ….

On April 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. for brunch with 4 people. Local was ok. Too few staff, they were totally overwhelmed. I know buffet differently. Little choice, almost no refills, hot food was cold, it has nothing to do with brunch. You shouldn't be thirsty, it takes a while to get something. Not recommended for brunch. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. Way too expensive for what you get. I don't know what the rest of the food is like.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal zum Sonntagsbruch im Bergius, ich muss sagen für den besten Brunch Augsburgs ist nioch viel Luft nach oben, warme Speisen waren bis auf ein bissl Grillgemüse und verbrannte Fleischküchle nicht wirklich vorhanden. Die Marmeladen in kleinen Gläschen waren teilweise benutzt, Die Croissants schmeckten komisch, für die Eier waren keine Becher vorhanden Der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, könnte aber aufmerksamer sein, alles in allem war das unser erster und zugleich letzter Besuch , schade!!

I took a kebab with me. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily edible. Most of it tastes of very little, only the bread tastes extremely like yeast or something similar. The employee simply slapped the sauce on top. So that it doesn't run down, the aluminum foil was put directly over it, which made it extremely difficult to eat. I'm really not picky about food and don't have high expectations of a kebab, but what I got had nothing to do with a kebab.

Went for dinner for two in the evening on July 1st. Both veal liver with side dishes which was very good. The lady who served us was friendly and professional. The young man who helped in service, that's not possible. Dressed in a friendly but impossible way with baggy jeans and a shirt, it doesn't fit at all Local. His way of working was very unprofessional. So I only give it 2 stars for the service.

The positive is due to the fact that it is in a store. We first wanted to try out whether we could make a reservation for the brunch they offer. We will definitely not make reservations! We ordered pasta carbonara (cheapest ham) and white sausage, one was lukewarm and the sausage burst, every housewife can do it better. Next attempt - canceled! We won't do that to ourselves anymore. At 12 p.m. there wasn't a single schnitzel left, when I asked when there would be some again, I don't know! Thank you for the information.

We made a reservation online today on our wedding anniversary. The service was so bad, it couldn't be worse. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our drinks. We ordered the menu with tomahawk steak. We waited forever for the individual courses again. We said it twice wanted to pay, no one came and then we went to the counter ourselves to pay the bill. But today it didn't work.

Das Entrecote war einfach hervorragend. Wir waren zum Public Viewing Deutschland Ungarn. Die Organisation dafür war gut, die Wartezeiten angemessen. Äußerst unschön war allerdings eine Auseinandersetzung eines Kellners mit einem Gast. Diese stand kurz vor einer Schlägerei. Der Kellner konnte auch von Kollegen nicht beruhigt werden und musste von mehreren Personen entfernt werden.

Snack: Problem: no employee could understand us, when we asked what was on the kebab plate they couldn't answer us because no one understood us. When we asked for the boss, who was very nice, he didn't understand us either. We were sold a kebab 3 times. When we got the doner plate portion, it wasn't seasoned at all, there was no rice or another side dish and the garlic sauce was just yoghurt. Solution: would be practical if there was an interpreter and spices would be desirable.

Me and another customer had ordered spaghetti carbonara to take away. We were kept waiting for about 20 minutes. During that time, it felt like 15 other dishes were prepared and ordered after us. When I asked two chefs where our food was, they were upset about what we wanted. We were told cheekily to our faces: The guests sitting in the restaurant have priority. What was strikingly disgusting was that one cook wiped the table with the dishcloth and then used the same hand to place the chicken pieces on the customers' plates.

We've been to the restaurant a few times. When there is little activity, the service does its job to some extent. Hopelessly overwhelmed during operation, and as a result the kitchen apparently did too. Too few (especially qualified) staff? The meat dishes are ok, pizza is limited, but pasta is not possible at all. Recently ordered 2 pasta dishes again (it was the 2nd time we ate pasta there). The pasta no longer has a bite, the sauce is tasteless, apparently a universal sauce for all pasta dishes. Tiramisu made with cream and not mascarpone. Above all, I hope the service improves and in some areas the quality of the food too. Otherwise we will stay away from the restaurant.

Can't understand the negative reviews at all. We just had dinner there. It was super tasty, super friendly, attentive and funny staff and top service! We all really enjoyed the food and the tiramisu in particular was a really nice big portion. The boss Mr. Seng is also very friendly and said goodbye to us with a handshake :)

Wir haben vorher für 2 Personen 3-Gänge Menü reserviert! Bedienung hat uns an einen gedeckten 4-er Tisch platziert und verdrängt, das am Tisch jemand sitzt, irgend wann, nach einer halben Stunde wurden wir nach Getränken gefragt und nach 20 Minuten wurden diese serviert, übriges Gedeck wurde nur teilweise entfernt, nach unserer Biete. Stunde später wurden wir gefragt, welche Vorspeise wir wünschen und ob es serviert werden kann, dann kam der nächste Kellner und wieder nach der Vorspeise gefragt und ob serviert werden kann???!!! Nach dem gar Grad vom Tomahawk-Steak wurden wir nicht gefragt, schade um das hochwertige Fleisch, es wurde von außen bitter gegrillt und innen roh! Am Nachbartisch das gleiche Szenario. Beilage ohne Geschmack und gefüllt vor Tagen zubereitet. Nachspeise nach Ewigkeit serviert. Fazit: nicht empfehlenswert

So from the outside, yuck, from the inside, yuck. But to explain, I wanted to invite my colleagues to a pizza to say goodbye to an employee. The waitress was with us immediately at the beginning and picked up the drinks, which were with us after 30 minutes. A colleague then went in to order the pizzas because the waitress didn't come to us anymore. Meanwhile, other tables asked us for the menu cards because they had been waiting for a while. After an hour we paid because we don't have a long lunch break. The only thing the waitress said was that she had forgotten us. No apology and we were 16 euros poorer and, because of the experience, we never took a lunch break there again. It's a real shame that we had to go to McDonald's, but service is still very important there.

We were here today with a voucher book. The first impression was good. The tables at the back were beautifully set. The service staff was friendly. After we got the table we wanted, I asked how it worked with 2/1. Answer: You can order anything, no worries that only an amount of €27 will be deducted. That in itself wouldn't have been a big problem if the quality of the Essena had been appropriate for the a. I ordered my T bone steak medium-rare. It came out more medium rare. Vegetables inedible raw, asparagus not peeled properly, aubergines more than disgusting, potatoes not edible either. So I just ate the meat. The same picture with the club steak. There was also the fact that it was significantly smaller, so definitely not 800 grams. Potatoes and vegetables were also not edible. We complained immediately. Nothing was changed. Just pointed out that this is not the regular chef and not that good. Congratulations. The waiter was consistently polite and did everything in his power to save the situation. Unfortunately, he can't do anything if the chef has no idea about the kitchen. On the positive side, the waiter always stopped by to refill the wine or brought a free dessert to save the situation. I have no idea why this chef is still employed, he has definitely missed his job. Unfortunately there are no minus stars regarding the food. Completely forgotten in the salad was a huge stalk......... Back to the voucher book, if there is a limit of €27, you write that in the voucher and not 2 for 1.

There is still room for improvement for the best Sunday brunch (as advertised) The service is rare, the ambience takes some getting used to and the toilets are from the shopping center and not clean. Anyone who doesn't know Bergius will be surprised at first and will only see a lunch snack in a shopping arcade. However, anyone who dares to venture behind the partition will find a completely different world there, and it's something special. This world consists of a beautiful restaurant area with beautiful decoration and a great view, but unfortunately only of the parking lot. Apart from that, the guest doesn't notice any of the shopping hustle and bustle. He can enjoy the very tasty and rich food in peace and will definitely be full. But the biggest surprise came with the bill. It turned out cheaper than expected. There's definitely a lot of performance here for the very low price. By the way, the staff was always friendly and happy to have a little joke. This made the 3-course menu a real experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not have its own toilets. Instead, you have to use the shopping center's toilets, which unfortunately are not very clean. Positive: There is a separate disabled toilet. The restaurant itself is suitable for wheelchair users.

Almost €20 for brunch is really too much. Hardly any choice and not very vegan/vegetarian friendly. Flies flew over the white sausages and the toppings for the rolls were also rather mediocre. The fruit for the fruit salad tasted like fruit from the day before and some of it wasn't really ripe. Some of the staff are friendly, some seem listless. Always comes to the table to ask if everything is okay. I'm not coming back. What's positive is that they also offer orange juice as an alternative to Prosecco and hot chocolate instead of coffee (but only on request). Unfortunately, the hot chocolate is just hot water with cocoa powder. I guess they just press a button on their coffee machine.

Were at Mother's Day brunch, service staff were not trained, friendly or motivated, had to remind us 4 times about our drinks, then it finally worked, we would have been better off without it, the glasses ended up on our pants and on the floor, No excuse other than “today is not my day” 🙄. Since they tried to have my first negative review deleted, now the second attempt: I personally doubt the "very good" reviews because it doesn't reflect reality. The pizzas are often undercooked, a lot of people actually write that and I can confirm that. It is very often very anti-social. When I was shopping there, customers were sitting in the outdoor area of the restaurant with very loud cell phone music and that is generally tolerated in the same way. The employees simply don't care. I suspect that they are underpaid and therefore unmotivated. I actually noticed that Mr. Seng's employees were yelled at. This of course makes the situation even more unpleasant and problematic. Not to mention that it is generally dirty and unclean. You are also welcome to read the reviews from the local Edeka, how often the best-before date has expired, but also how dirty the store generally is. You can form your own opinion about it.
