Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl an frischen Speisen, Brot, Gebäck, Süßigkeiten und leckerem Kaffee. Alles war frisch, sauber und schön präsentiert. Freundliches Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Am Abend habe ich ein Stück Torte und einen Éclair gekauft. Leider waren beide Desserts sehr enttäuschend. Die Torte wirkte nicht frisch, und auch die Erdbeeren sahen alles andere als frisch aus. Der Kuchen war trocken, geschmacklos und machte den Eindruck, als hätte er schon länger in der Auslage gelegen. Der Éclair hat ebenfalls nicht überzeugt – er war nahezu geschmacklos und überhaupt nicht süß. Leider hat die Qualität inzwischen deutlich nachgelassen. Die Produkte wirken nicht mehr so frisch und geschmackvoll wie früher. Für den Preis habe ich deutlich bessere Qualität und Frische erwartet. Sehr enttäuschend – nach dieser Erfahrung werden wir dort wahrscheinlich nicht mehr einkaufen.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Café mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist immer freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen. Die Süßspeisen und Getränke sind sehr lecker und ich komme gerne hierher, um entspannt Zeit zu verbringen. Kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir mussten lange warten, bis wir bestellen konnten, und am Ende wurde unsere Bestellung auch noch falsch aufgenommen. Das Personal war unfreundlich und wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Die Baklava waren gut, aber die Künefe war sehr dünn und leider nicht lecker.

Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben gefragt, was das für eine Torte ist. Sie hat nur „Schoko“ geantwortet. In der Torte war aber noch etwas anderes drin, und wir wollten wissen, was genau, weil es eventuell eine allergische Reaktion auslösen könnte. Ich habe erneut gefragt, ob es drin Nüsse oder Karamell gibt. Daraufhin sagte sie: „Ja, wie Sie wollen. Sie sind die Chefin, Sie wissen es besser, was drin ist. Wenn Sie mir nicht glauben, können Sie gehen.“ Als wir gefragt haben, wo der Chef ist, meinte sie, dass sie selbst die Chefin sei. Wir können kaum glauben, dass eine Chefin so unfreundlich und wenig kundenorientiert sein kann. Wir hoffen, dass der/die echte Chef/in ein Gespräch mit so einer Mitarbeiterin führt. Der Vorfall ist am 16. Mai gegen 11 Uhr passiert.

Netter Service schönes Ambiente aber die Süßspeisen nicht wirklich besonderes. Mann kann dort hin aber muss nicht.

Leider war das Tiramisu schon älter, trocken und vom Geschmack her säuerlich. Für 6,50€ pro Stück schon extrem frech.

Beste Qualität und mehr als sättigend! Der Tisch war reichlich gedeckt und alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Çay und frisches Baklava – ein perfekter Ausklang. Ich habe jeden Moment genossen. Auch die Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Klare Empfehlung!

Die Desserts sind sehr frisch, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre sehr sauber und ruhig. Vielen Dank, ich kann das Lokal uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Eine absolute Unverschämtheit – Ignorant, falsch zubereitet und ungenießbar! Ich bin fassungslos über diesen "Service". Trotz Online-Vorbestellung und -Zahlung stand ich 15 Minuten im Laden und wurde vom Personal eiskalt ignoriert. Man hat mich mehrfach angesehen, aber niemand hielt es für nötig, mich anzusprechen. Erst als ich massiven Druck gemacht habe, bequemte man sich, mir meine Bestellung zu geben. Wäre nicht schon vorab gezahlt gewesen, wäre ich längst wortlos gegangen. Zu Hause folgte die nächste Enttäuschung: Es fehlten sowohl Servietten als auch Besteck – ein absolutes Minimum, das einfach dazugehört. Das Schlimmste war jedoch das Essen selbst: Die Nudeln wurden anscheinend ungefragt gebraten, was die gesamte Konsistenz ruiniert hat. Sie hatten eine merkwürdige Farbe und schmeckten, als hätten sie schon ewig gestanden. Am Boden der Verpackung hatte sich zudem enorm viel Öl angesammelt, sodass das Gericht förmlich darin schwamm. Es war fettig, lieblos und schlichtweg nicht essbar. Fazit: Man zahlt für Bequemlichkeit und Qualität, bekommt aber nur Ignoranz und eine ölige Frechheit serviert. Nie wieder! Update ich habe bisschen was davon gegessen Jetzt ist mir leicht übel!

Voll Katastrophe, Wir waren eigentlich nur dort, um unsere Hochzeitstorte zu bestellen und haben uns dann spontan entschlossen, unser Essen nach dem Standesamt mit 10 Personen, dort einzunehmen. Ich suchte mir eine besondere Torte aus und mir wurde ein schön gedeckter Tisch versprochen, mit einer entsprechenden Hochzeitsdekoration. Alles war geplant und wir leisteten eine Anzahlung. Nach der standesamtlichen Trauung gingen wir mit unseren Gästen dorthin. Was wir dann im Damla erlebten ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Der Tisch für die Gäste war nicht, wie besprochen, eingedeckt, dem wurde auch nicht mehr nachgekommen. Deko gab es auch nicht. Nur auf Nachfrage wurden wir bedient. Die leeren Gläser und Flaschen wurden nicht weg geräumt und auch nicht nach erneuten Getränken gefragt. Also standen auf unserem Hochzeitstisch leere Flaschen und Gläser rum. Auch die Bestellung des Essens war sehr schleppend. Zudem gab es kein Reis oder Köfte wie es auf der Karte stand... Was für ein türkisches Restaurant schon ein No Go ist. Es wurde dann zum Teil das falsche Essen gebracht und mit großen Zeit Verzögerungen serviert, so dass einige Gäste warteten, während andere schon fertig waren. Das Essen schmeckte dann relativ gut, sonst hätten wir an dieser Stelle abgebrochen und wären in ein anderes Lokal gegangen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wusste ich allerdings auch noch nicht, was mich als nächstes erwarten würde. Nach dem Essen gab es wieder eine längere Pause und keine Bedienung, so dass ich erst nachfragen musste, um weitere Bestellungen zu tätigen. Als ich darum bat, meine Hochzeitstorte mit dem Kaffee zusammen zu servieren, brachte man nur vereinzelt Kaffee ohne Torte. Also musste ich erneut nach der bestellten Torte fragen. Und erst dann erfuhr ich, das meine Hochzeitstorte gar nicht vor Ort, sondern in Remscheid sei und erst in 40 Minuten gebracht werden würde. Und das nachdem wir 14 Tage im voraus bestellt hatten und bereits 2std im Restaurant saßen. Auch hatte man mich nicht freiwillig, sondern erst auch mein Nachfragen darüber informiert. Nachdem ich sehr verärgert reagierte, wurde nach 30 Minuten eine Torte auf den Tisch gestellt, die ich nicht bestellt hatte. Weder äußerlich, noch geschmacklich war es die von mir ausgesuchte Hochzeitstorte. Offensichtlich wurde sie schnell von einem Konditor in der Nähe gekauft, denn das war nicht ansatzweise die bestellte Torte. Also alles in allem ein absoluter Reinfall. Zwar brauchten wir die Torte nicht bezahlen, aber das macht es auch nicht besser, wenn man so enttäuscht wird. Schämt euch Damla!!!!

Gestern nach dem Tarawih-Gebet war ich mit einer Freundin hier und habe Profiteroles bestellt. Die erste Portion schmeckte leider sauer (verdorben?), die zweite dann eher alt und trocken. Heute habe ich Magenkrämpfe – mein Magen hat den Besuch wohl nicht so gut verkraftet wie ich. Schade, ich hatte mich eigentlich auf ein leckeres Dessert gefreut. Hoffentlich wird in Zukunft mehr auf Frische geachtet.

Ich hab heute eine Torte reserviert am Telefon und die Dame auch gefragt ob ich jetzt bezahlen soll oder später , sie sagte mir später beim abholen ich hab gesagt das ich gegen 17 Uhr komme sie sagte okay - ihre Torte ist reserviert ! Beim abholen sagt die Dame das meine Torte die ich reserviert hatte schon an jemand anderes reserviert ist. Danke für gar nichts. Unprofessionell, unsympathisch und unhöflich.

Eine unfassbare Frechheit. Zu Ramadan Fladenbrot geholt, und es war einfach komplett von gestern. Schämt euch. Tut es wenigstens nicht bei fastenden Menschen. Dann habt ihr noch an die Theke getan. Das gleiche Gefühl hatte ich auch mal bei tortenähnlichen Sachen aber da dachte ich mir okay, es was abend und es ist vielleicht normal. Aber jetzt zweifle ich dran. Nix ist normal. Fladenbrot weggeschmissen. Es war wirklich nicht essbar. 1 Stern und deutliche Warnung vor der Bude.

ich habe am [24.02.2026 in Ihrer Filiale Barmen eine Torte für einen besonderen Anlass Geburtstag meines Sohnes 9 Jahre alt gekauft (siehe beigefügtes Foto). Leider musste ich bei Anschnitt feststellen, dass die Torte nicht die von Ihnen gesagten (Frisch)Qualität aufwies. Die Torte war leider sehr trocken und schmeckte nicht frisch, was den Genuss und die Freude an unserem Anlass deutlich getrübt hat.so eine Torte sollte natürlich frisch und lecker sein, besonders an einem besonderen Tag! Wenn man sich auf ein Fest freut und dann enttäuscht wird, ist das wirklich ärgerlich. Habe mich direkt telefonisch gemeldet und die Reklamation und die Beschwerde eingereicht die Verkäuferin bestand darauf dass die Torte frisch sei was aber leider nicht so war egal wer das probiert hat schmeckte es sofort ab das die alt war 😩 Der Boden war so Hart und Trocken Normalerweise poste ich so etwas nie oder gebe eine schlechte Bewertung ab, aber mein Sohn war so traurig und die 30€ Müll sehr enttäuschend schade das sie noch nicht mal bereit waren für eine ausgleiche !!!

Es war das erste Mal, dass mein Freund, ein paar Freunde und ich in so einem Café waren, und es hat uns richtig gut gefallen. Ich hatte einen Latte Macchiato mit Baklava, und der war köstlich! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Der Service war auch ausgezeichnet!

Es ist leider sehr enttäuschend, nichts ist beschriftet + die Mitarbeiter sind meist nicht ansprechbar, sind sehr unfreundlich meist. Sie haben kein Wasser oder andere Sorten vom Tee, wenn was leer wird, wird meist nicht wieder gefüllt. Und es gibt nur eine Sorte Brot leider. Es wird nichts süßes angeboten. Kein Saft für Kinder.

Habe hier mehrmals Manti bestellt und letztens auch mal im Restaurant gegessen.. tip top! Manti empfehle ich allerdings ohne Knoblauch. Super Service, absolut sauber!! Auch tolle Süsswaren gibt es hier. Bis bald

Gestern habe ich sehr spontan eine Torte gekauft. Super Auswahl und die Torte sah sehr ansprechend aus und war geschmacklich perfekt . In dem Cafe war ich bisher hin und wieder frühstücken und kann das Buffet auch nur empfehlen .

Ich habe für meinen Geburtstag eine Torte gekauft, aber sie war leider überhaupt nicht frisch. Das war mir gegenüber meinen Gästen sehr unangenehm, und ich habe schließlich die Hälfte der Torte wegwerfen müssen Weil die einfach so trocken war! Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass ich fast 30 € für eine so kleine Torte bezahlt habe. Außerdem habe ich von mehreren Personen gehört, dass die Produkte oft nicht frisch sein sollen. Das finde ich sehr schade.

Ich bin mit großen Erwartungen dorthin gegangen, leider wurden diese enttäuscht. Wir mussten sehr lange auf unser Essen warten, und geschmacklich konnte es uns überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Die Gerichte waren schlecht gewürzt und insgesamt sehr geschmacklos. Das Essen meiner Freundin war zudem extrem ölig. Wirklich schade. Lohnt sich einfach für den Preis nicht.

I recently had breakfast at Dmla Plus Wuppertal and was very disappointed. In my opinion, the breakfast buffet didn't live up to the price. The selection was rather limited, and overall, the quality wasn't what you'd expect for that price. I found it particularly incomprehensible that children under two years old were charged €8. Children of that age usually eat very little, and in most restaurants, breakfast is free for such young children. Overall, the value for money was unsatisfactory. I had expected much more from the breakfast and wouldn't recommend this restaurant, at least not for a family breakfast.

We usually go in the evenings. Nice atmosphere, nice service. Thank you to the staff.

We came for breakfast on the weekend and were unfortunately disappointed. 😞Normally there would be cake, baklava, and fruit. 🤷‍♂️but now there isn't any. 🔥 When we asked, he said it happens sometimes but it's not available today. 🤔

Mr. Ertuğrul Kaya, I was wondering if you give roses to the people who prepare breakfast for you at your home, for example, if you're married, to your spouse, or is this only for the staff at Damla Restaurant? The attention was so great that you even gave them roses. It's truly wonderful. I'm sure the staff are incredibly pleased with the attention and care they receive from their customers. They never lose customers. This is a very good image for a business, so I congratulate you.

The food was OK, the worst thing is the service, they don't want to do their job. At the beginning they asked for a sauce which they never got. It took another 20 minutes to pack it up. Simply unimaginable. NO RECOMMENDATION

Hi guys, I was just at this restaurant with my girlfriend. We ordered four pieces of Turkish baklava and drank two small black teas. Tea is usually free at other shops, but this only cost €14. Now I understand why it's always empty and the cakes are so dry. They've probably been sitting on the display case for days. It's a disaster. Please don't let these people fool you!!!

A very nice café in Wuppertal! The desserts are truly delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere is pleasant (they seem to have renovated it too – a great success). The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick and reliable. All in all, a very nice place to linger – a definite recommendation!

Not recommended—this place is ripping people off. The price tag says €30 per kilo. I ordered 10 pieces of baklava and a coffee. But 10 pieces aren't a kilo. In the end, I got a bill for €37.80. How can that be, since I didn't eat more than a kilo of baklava? They then told me that the menu says that if you eat there, two small pieces cost €7.90. If I'd known it was so expensive, I wouldn't have ordered so much. There's a café in Oberbarmen where you pay a maximum of €10-15 for 10 pieces—not almost €40.

The price tags show a completely different price, but at the checkout they charge 2-3 times more, and the reason isn't explained. Fraud!!!

Breakfast buffet €12.60 It was truly terrible. Old pizza and pide were served there, and whether it was egg or lentil soup, everything was cold. It seems they don't serve hot food. Some of the cheese was dry and hardened, as well as dried-out baklava. The only good thing was the cay, but you can't go wrong with that either. I wouldn't recommend the food to anyone. I've felt unwell ever since I ate there.

Very friendly and good service. I had breakfast there with my family and were very satisfied. There's a large selection, the food is very tasty, and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth a visit. We'd go back anytime.

It might seem reasonable if I didn't know what dry baklava was, dry baklava shouldn't have that much syrup, the glucose in the syrup literally burned my throat when I ate it, unfortunately, no points from me.

It's expensive, but everything tastes amazing. The Mercimek (Turkish lentil soup) is very slightly spicy and has a very mild heat. The Manti is truly delicious. One of the best in the area. The Turkish pide with sucuk (Turkish garlic sausage) is also delicious.

Catastrophic! I'll never order a cake from there again! They were supposed to have a photo cake, but it wasn't cooled sufficiently, the picture was completely distorted, the sugar decorations were melting, and the cake edge was dented. If it hadn't been a Sunday, I definitely wouldn't have bought it. It's a disgrace to sell something like that! The saleswoman was semi-friendly, but she didn't want to acknowledge the obvious defects on the cake, something any blind person could have seen. They weren't aware of any fault. Only when I pointed out for the umpteenth time that the picture I wanted was different and a lot of the decorations were missing did they lower the price after two phone calls, a whopping €10. They then said, "Next time you come, you'll get a discount." Absolute joke. There will definitely not be a next time for us. Never again!! Extremely disappointed

Never again!!! When it reopened, the staff and the food were very good. But in 2025? We waited over 20 minutes for a server to give us the menus. The staff were behind the counter serving food, which isn't bad in itself, but having to wait over 20 minutes was terrible. Then the staff gave other people menus but not us. We had to ask for them ourselves. The wait for the food was long, even though there were almost no customers. Aside from the wait, the food was tasty, especially the salad, which tasted absolutely nothing. It was cut too big, there weren't any bite-sized pieces, it tasted moldy from the first bite, even the last bite, and I don't even want to talk about the pomegranate syrup on top. The food wasn't salted, and the meat suddenly had vegetables on it that weren't even listed on the menu. I wanted my meal without mushrooms, so I specifically chose that one, and to my surprise: there were mushrooms. I couldn't finish my food at all, I only touched my salad once and ate the pasta and picked out the meat, which is a shame. I can cook better things like that at home! I was prepared to spend around €15 on it, but I'd rather cook at home myself or eat toast than go there again. The water smelled so bad of sewage that I only managed to take three sips before I noticed it. Save your money and go somewhere else to eat. A complete disaster! They used to be really good, but all the staff urgently need to go and the chef needs to be replaced! I'd prefer not to give it any stars!!!

A catastrophe! My börek, which already looked really unappetizing, had five small flies in it, the cheese smelled really rotten and not to mention the yufka or what appeared to be lasagna sheets as a yufka substitute... I'm sure the börek had been in the fridge for at least two or three weeks. €3.50 for something like that is pretty cheeky. I also wanted a certain amount of baklava (extremely dry and with little bits of pistachios in their shells), and they charged me for that, but they packed me less - really outrageous. I'm shocked and will avoid this shop in Wuppertal in future! It's outrageous that something like this is allowed to operate.

Don't come for breakfast, you will waste your money and you will go hungry, the products are all discolored, the potatoes were left over from yesterday, I had a hard time cutting them with my teeth, it's free to try for those who don't believe. Also, the serving plates are not spotlessly clean, when you hold the plates up to the light, you can see the dirty layer of oil on the surface.

Baklava style desserts are nice, but the fresh cakes have only fresh pastry dough inside and they are left very empty as if they forgot to put cream on them.

I had high hopes for this coffee, but it was a complete letdown. The first sip was enough to tell me something was off—the taste was bitter, burnt, and almost stale. It lacked any depth or richness, and instead, it felt like I was drinking watered-down disappointment but milk cake 🍰 was excellent 👍

I got a birthday cake for my father's 60th birthday there. Unfortunately there were 2 long blonde hairs in it! I reported there because someone supposedly wanted to get in touch. It's questionable that people don't respond to such actions.
