It's very cozy there in the evening! The shop is quiet and pleasant. The employees are also super friendly. There are Turkish dishes such as Lahmacun (Turkish pizzas); but also many sweet dishes such as künefe, ice cream, baklava, tirilice -> which you definitely have to try! The prices are totally humane! Overall my stay was great! I would visit the store again next time.

As for the breakfast, it was beyond our expectations in terms of taste. The buffet was absolutely amazing. It gets 10 out of 10, we haven't tasted such a delicious taste in a long time. Restaurant staff were one of the factors that made this experience even more special. The staff was both very kind and incredibly humble. I had a lentil soup. The taste wasn't my thing, I thought it tasted "meaty" and too bitter. Besides the soup there was plenty of pide with meat, but no spoon. When I asked, I was given bread in exchange for the meat pide since I don't eat meat. After eating I had a stomach ache.

I ordered a cake with caramel cream, but received a cake with Nutella instead. This cake looked more like Nutella on bread and had no taste. It was also very dry and hardly resembled a real cake. For the outrageous price of €30 I definitely expected more. I will never order here again and unfortunately I cannot recommend this pastry shop.

I paid €5 for a piece of cake. For such an outrageous price you expect at least some taste. It was dry and didn't taste like it was a week old! This goes straight into the trash.

We ordered a two-tier cream cake here. The seller offered to wrap the cake beautifully if we brought him packaging materials such as foil and ribbons, which we did. When we picked up the cake it was simply open and not wrapped as we were promised. Instead, the cake was lying open in a fruit box. With common sense, it is clear that a two-tier cream cake should be packed in a sturdy box to avoid damage. When we asked the seller about it, he was rude and claimed he never said he would put the cake in a box. We had to carry the cake on our lap for several kilometers, which resulted in it being damaged. In addition, the cake had hardly any base and consisted almost entirely of cream. It's not about 1 euro or 2 euros for us - our packaging material wasn't returned either and they brazenly demanded full money for catastrophic service and impudence. I am very disappointed with this experience and would prefer not to give it a star. So that other customers are spared similar disappointments, you can see the situation for yourself using the attached pictures.

The location is in the Barmen district. In general the idea is good, but the implementation is lacking. The tea was a Ceylon tea, not Turkish tea. It is possible that both variants are available. I didn't ask. I didn't like the cake that much. I would have preferred a baklava. The space could have been designed a little more harmoniously. Something was bothering me. Nice personel. With a few small changes you could score much better here.

Nachdem ich mehrere Pizzerien in Wuppertal-Barmen abtelefoniert habe um meine Wunsch Pizza zu bekommen, bin ich bei Damla + fündig geworden! Eine Pizza Margarita mit frischen Tomaten und frischem Knoblauch! Kein Knoblauchöl! Das war die köstlichste Pizza, die ich seit langem gegessen habe! Sie war genauso kross, wie man sich eine Pizza wünscht und vorstellt!
