Damla +Plus in Wuppertal

A catastrophe! My börek, which already looked really unappetizing, had five small flies in it, the cheese smelled really rotten and not to mention the yufka or apparently lasagna sheets as a yufka substitute... I'm sure the börek had been in the fridge for at least two to three weeks. €3.50 for something like that is pretty cheeky. I also wanted a certain amount of baklava (extremely dry and with little bits of pistachios in their shells), and they charged me for that, but they packed me less - really outrageous. I'm shocked and will avoid this shop in Wuppertal in future! It's outrageous that something like this is allowed to operate.

Don't come for breakfast, you will waste your money and you will go hungry, the products are all discolored, the potatoes were left over from yesterday, I had a hard time cutting them with my teeth, it's free to try for those who don't believe. Also, the serving plates are not spotlessly clean, when you hold the plates up to the light, you can see the dirty layer of oil on the surface.

How nice is the staff! Unfortunately, we only had a credit card with us and therefore couldn't buy a cake, so we got two baklava on hand instead. Tastiest baklava we've ever eaten and super nice!!!

Baklava style desserts are nice, but the fresh cakes have only fresh pastry dough inside and they are left very empty as if they forgot to put cream on them.

I had high hopes for this coffee, but it was a complete letdown. The first sip was enough to tell me something was off—the taste was bitter, burnt, and almost stale. It lacked any depth or richness, and instead, it felt like I was drinking watered-down disappointment but milk cake 🍰 was excellent 👍

I got a birthday cake for my father's 60th birthday there. Unfortunately there were 2 long blonde hairs in it! I reported there because someone supposedly wanted to get in touch. It's questionable that people don't respond to such actions.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously today. The service was very polite and professional. The waiting time for the food was short and was sweetened by the service with a Turkish tea. The food tasted delicious and the portion was just right. After we had finished eating, we were served Turkish tea and Turkish baklava again. When paying we paid for our main courses and cold drinks. The tea and the baklava were a gift from the house. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

We had a spontaneous dinner today and we will definitely be back. The service and hospitality were great. There was tea and baklava and the portions of the main courses were more than sufficient. The quality was also good.

It's very cozy there in the evening! The shop is quiet and pleasant. The employees are also super friendly. There are Turkish dishes such as Lahmacun (Turkish pizzas); but also many sweet dishes such as künefe, ice cream, baklava, tirilice -> which you definitely have to try! The prices are totally humane! Overall my stay was great! I would visit the store again next time.

My mother was there and brought me something. What can I say.. Just WOW. Super tasty and despite the fact that it was brought with us, it still tasted very, very fresh. Simply recommended! Since then, my sister and my mother have only raved about the place. Thumbs up.

As far as the food is concerned, our expectations were far exceeded. Breakfast deserves a 10 out of 10 - it was incredibly tasty and we haven't eaten so well in a long time. The freshness of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes were also impressive and further enriched our dining experience. Another highlight was the staff. All the staff were extremely friendly, humble and attentive. Everyone was always there with a smile and gave us the feeling that we were really valued as guests. I had a lentil soup. The taste wasn't my thing, I thought it tasted "meaty" and too bitter. Besides the soup there was plenty of pide with meat, but no spoon. When I asked, I was given bread in exchange for the meat pide since I don't eat meat. After eating I had a stomach ache.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience at this pastry shop. Unfortunately, although the service was very nice, it was also unprofessional. I ordered a cake with caramel cream, but received a cake with Nutella instead. This cake looked more like Nutella on bread and had no taste. It was also very dry and hardly resembled a real cake. For the outrageous price of €30 I definitely expected more. I will never order here again and unfortunately I cannot recommend this pastry shop.
