Crispy and delicious, and the meal is very filling

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. It is shameful that a place that bears the name of the Syrian capital is so bad. I always try to highlight the positive, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything positive here. I ordered Broasted Chicken - worldwide this dish consists of four parts, including a chicken leg. However, there was no leg here. The Coke was served in a small plastic cup - firstly bad for the environment, secondly not enough and thirdly Coke is usually served in a glass or can. The biggest problem, however, was the seasoning. It was extremely bad, with no taste and no salt at all. It was absolutely tasteless. The portion of fries was very small, as was the amount of garlic sauce. I wish I could mention at least one positive point, but unfortunately I can't find one

The restaurant is cozy but the music is too loud. The shawarma was okay, but the sauces were delicious. Unfortunately I received my drink in a plastic cup and the cola was not carbonated. But the staff was super nice and friendly. Unfortunately you cannot pay with an EC card here. Compared to my last visit it was much worse. I think I won't come back.

I ordered a meat shawarma or it came out dry. The meat was both dry and burnt or not good. Or the fattoush was bad, it had no taste for fattoush, or the turnip falafel had no taste or was very ordinary, unfortunately.

Really nice flair with friendly staff and good food. The sandwiches were pretty good, not too big though. Prices pretty fair for 6€ falafel or chicken sandwich.

Today we went to the Damascus Restaurant as a family, we enjoyed it very much, the food came quickly and the service was very attentive, super nice and accommodating. As a vegetarian, our daughter unfortunately accidentally ordered a dish with meat, only a few minutes later she received a vegetarian dish. Even our dog was offered a bowl of water. Thank you very much for your hospitality! We'd love to come back!

We are stingy with food. The price does not equal the quantity. The staff is bad and it is not known whose hands are above, even though there were only two customers in the restaurant. The staff joked and mocked each other, playing and biting each other behind food and laughing loudly. This is something completely unprofessional and gives a bad look. I asked if I would like to order more than 3 times from... Different employees, meaning there is no management at all. I hope they will be generous with the food, increase the amount of meat in a shawarma sandwich, increase the number of crispy pieces, and be serious about their behavior. Frankly, it was a very bad experience.

I always like to go there to eat the delicious taboula salad and the veal shawrma plate. The food is simply awesome!

Guten Abend, wir sind heute zu Damaskus Koblenz gegangen, um dort eine leckere dönerrolle mit Pommes zu essen. Wir kamen rein, haben unser Essen bestellt. Jeder im gesamten Laden hat sein Essen bekommen. Wir haben 25 Minuten gewartet und wurden nach unserer Bestellung, obwohl wir am Tisch sassen nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir was trinken wollen finde ich recht komisch, wenn dort ein Dutzend Mitarbeiter vorhanden sind Ich werde es selbstverständlich noch mal versuchen. Das Essen sah so lecker aus. Ich habe mich so auf das Essen gefreut. Alles in den Laden sah einfach lecker aus

Enttäuschende Erfahrung im Restaurant Damaskus Zunächst einmal war die Wartezeit für drei Shawermas über eine halbe Stunde lang, was für ein Schnellrestaurant unangemessen ist. Als ich höflich nach dem Grund für die Verzögerung fragte, wurde ich unhöflich behandelt. Service gleich NULL. Des Weiteren enttäuschte mich die Zubereitung der Shawermas. Statt der versprochenen authentischen syrischen Küche wurden Pommes in die Shawermas gelegt, was in der traditionellen syrischen Küche unüblich ist. In einem syrischem Shawerma gehören keine Pommes!!! Das Fleisch war oft entweder roh oder zu stark verbrannt. Geschmacklich gleich NULL. Zusätzlich möchte ich hinzufügen, dass der Mitarbeiter versuchte mich davon zu überzeugen, in bar zu bezahlen, obwohl ein Kartenzahlgerät vorhanden war. Als ich aber darauf bestanden habe mit der Karte zu zahlen, konnte man in seinem Gesicht erkennen, dass es ihm nicht gefiel. Diese Praxis wirkte unprofessionell und unangemessen. Professionalität gleich NULL. Die Hygiene ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig: ich war schockiert zu sehen, wie ein Mitarbeiter draußen rauchte und dann ohne Händewaschen wieder hinter die Theke zurückkehrte, um weiterzuarbeiten. Auch ist es inakzeptabel, dass auf der Toilette keine Seife für die Gäste vorhanden war. Außerdem war mein Tisch sehr klebrig und unterm Tisch waren noch viele Essensreste. Hygiene gleich NULL. Insgesamt entsprach mein Besuch im Restaurant Damaskus nicht den Erwartungen, weder in Bezug auf den Service noch auf die Qualität der Speisen. Wahrscheinlich antwortet der Inhaber wieder mit seinem vorgefertigten Standardtext, dass dies intern besprochen wird, dass sie das Feedback ernst nehmen und dass das nicht deren Standard entspricht - bla bla bla.

еда была пересолена, но в принципе не плохо, это был наш первый визит и естественно последний,хотя бывало и хуже. Официанты не приносят счет , а нужно потом выстоять в очереди, чтобы оплатить , напомнить и перечислить все, что ты ел. Тебе будут долго и с большим одолжением выписывать счет и с недовольным лицом давать сдачу. Это что-то странное, я такого еще не видела !

Ich bin von Anfang an fast wöchentlicher Kunde dieses Restaurants aus folgendem Grund: Dies ist einer der besten Mittelpreis-Restaurants in der Stadt! Wer etwas mit herkömmlicher qualitativer syrisch-kurdischer Küche anfangen kann, dies hier ist eine sehr gute! Die Qualität ist besser als in jedem Döner- und Schawarma-Laden, den ich kenne! Der Service ist super! Die Angestellten hier sind menschlich, herzlich, wirklich gastfreundlich, höflich, unkompliziert und entgegenkommend. Wer mit offenem Herzen und fröhlichem Geist kommt, wird nicht enttäuscht. Am Deutschverstehen hapert es manchmal, daher sollte man sicherstellen, dass man bei der Bestellung tatsächlich verstanden wurde. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und angenehm, so wie es an diesem Ort der Stadt keine andere sein kann. Das Essen wird immer frisch zu bereitet und stilvoll auf einem originellen Holzbrett serviert. Die Preise haben sich merklich erhöht, aber sind angemessen dem, was Inflation und der Markt hergeben. Sonst müsste die Qualität leiden. Und das will ich nicht. Das Schawarma-Fleisch ist besser als in JEDEM Dönerladen der Stadt! Definitiv. Man merkt, dass an den Spießen wirklich Fleisch ist und keine phosphatabgefüllte Wurst wie bei vielen Dönerläden der Stadt üblich. Ich habe sämtliche probiert und kann es mit Fug und Recht so behaupten. Das Tagesangebot hat es immer wieder in sich. Ist schmackhaft, vielseitig. Baklava und Dessert sind schmackhaft und interessant. Immer wieder lassen sich die Besitzer etwas einfallen und sind sehr geschäftsfähig, fleißig, professionell und verstehen ihr Handwerk. So eine Restaurantkette in Koblenz kann man sich nur wünschen!

Wir waren eigentlich immer gerne dort essen aber eben als wir in Koblenz waren und dringend auf Toilette mussten,sind wir in den Laden rein zur Toilette und dann wurden wir als respektlos beleidigt und es wurde diskutiert. Wir haben sogar 2€ bezahlt weil der Mann es so wollte. Peinlich…

Ganz schlecht! Bestellen unmöglich, da sich niemand zuständig fühlt. Was ich nicht probieren kann, das ist automatisch schlecht - schade.

Kann das Essen nicht bewerten - nur das Ladenlokal. Man ist sich nicht wirklich sicher ob es ein Imbiss oder ein Restaurant sein soll. An der Theke waren leider nur Bildschirme mit Vorspeisen und Getränken. Die haben leider immer nur das selbe angezeigt. Es war nicht ersichtlich, was es eigentlich zu Essen gibt. Leider gab es an den Tischen auch keine Karten in die man rein schauen könnte. Ein paar Schilder wären gut gewesen, gab es aber nicht. Es wirkte dadurch etwas lieblos. Bin dann wieder raus zum nächsten Imbiss. Wollte in der Mittagszeit nicht unnötig herausfinden was ich essen könnte. Schade.

Das Essen war sehr salzig. Und das Essen wurde spät serviert. Obwohl wir nach Hühnchen und Reis fragten, kam etwas anderes. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich noch einmal hingehen werde.
