Staff very nice but shawarma very bad.

The service was quick and the employees were very friendly, the falafel was very tasty, I recommend.

My favorite restaurant is the Damascus Restaurant in Trier. I am a regular customer and have been eating delicious shawarma here since 2017. The quality is high here and the prices are very reasonable. The best shawarma in all of Trier 👍🏻

This is our first time at Damascus Restaurant. We ordered a shawarma plate and half a chicken with mandi rice. The food was fantastic, the chicken was juicy and had a special flavor and everything was freshly prepared. The service was quick and the employees were very friendly to us. I can advise anyone visiting Trier for the first time to visit this restaurant.

Juicy falafel, delicious shawarma and everything beautifully presented right down to the pomegranate seeds on the baba ghanoush. We received friendly and competent advice and thank you for that outstanding service for our larger order for dinner with friends. Everything was on time, well packed and warm, ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have received a dry and thinly filled halloumi sandwich. The customer in front of me received generously filled bread and there was no skimping on the sauce. Wonder why that is. Actually always a very nice staff, but the food, which was really good at the beginning, has significantly decreased in quality. It's a shame that the quality of the food varies greatly depending on the customer -

Ordered on Uber Eats and was completely disappointed. Loveless presentation and mediocre quality at a price that is far too high. Don't order from them.

We were there yesterday afternoon and unfortunately very disappointed. There was no shawarma skewer so I have no idea where the meat came from. It didn't taste fresh either and was almost cold when it was served, definitely from yesterday... never again

Tried their chapli kebab, if you want to try authentic afghani chapli kebab, it's a must try, the guys at counter also speaks urdu/hindi. Quality and quantity is also good. Green chatni is just perfect. I'm having the feeling of eating chapli kebab with naan like in pakistan.

It's delicious... and actually very friendly too. Other people's dishes look tasty. Basically I would give one more star BUT The cook has just finished eating, hasn't washed his hands and is serving the next guest. That doesn't work! In addition, the extractor above the grill should work better. (Does the exhaust even work?!) There is an extreme smell in the snack bar and the window is tilted, so you just get cold and the smell stays in the room.. very uncomfortable while eating. There are baby wipes on the tables... so you can clean your hands and the table at the same time... sorry, but they have no place there. It is not the customer's responsibility to clean the tables regularly. They should also be cleaned with water and detergent. Paper napkins for customers to clean up should actually be a given in every restaurant

Authentic shawarma and faroog. I am coming from Luxembourg to eat here all the time. Friendly staff, cheap prices and halal.

The Falafel there is from heaven, ask for the spicy version! The sauce contains yogurt, not appropriate for lactose intolerant.

Nice and clean place but small especially in Winter

The best falafel wrap I’ve had in a long time! Unlike the typical Döner place, this sandwich comes with an abundance of ingredients and flavors, including mint leaves, pickles and sauces. Unbelievable quality for the price, and the guys behind the counter are warm and friendly, too. Highly recommended!

mäßig 3,90 sind ausgewiesen für den schawarma verlangt werden 4€ kein salat nur fleisch und saure gurken. Die Majo/Hummus es war schwer zu erkennen sah auch etwas ranzig aus

Wir haben, seit ich in der Stadt arbeite, mehrmals mittags hier was zum Essen geholt. Es war lecker, die Portion passend für Mittags und der Preis geht auch gut durch. Gerne wieder

Das Essen dort schmeckt sehr gut und die Leute dort sind sehr nett... Ich gehe immer gerne dort essen.
