We had dinner outside, on the terrace. Very friendly and smiling Italian speaking staff. Good food. Correct prices considering it is Berlin. We returned a second time, tired of the German cuisine experiences.

We waited for 2 hours for our food although we had a reservation. Otherwise it was a great place

For me personally one of the best Italians! The food is really delicious. A manageable menu, which I find very pleasant. I can particularly recommend calamari a la diavola, caponata, calamaretti fritti, pasta with truffles and, in summer, pasta with mussels or shrimps. A pleasure! The pizzas are good but not great. It's just not a pizzeria. But that's all I have to "complain about". The service is very attentive, in a good mood and just great! Also a great atmosphere. Somehow very quaint and cozy. Greetings and beautifully decorated terrace outside. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is more than great. Good wine list. Nice olive oil and delicious bread and olives, which are served for free, which is not a given these days.

A traditional Italian restaurant I first discovered three years ago. This is my third visit already! 🍋 Still my favorite place 😵‍💫Hmm. Pretty good food! Incredibly friendly staff! The romantic atmosphere is a bonus! Personally, the olives given when I ordered wine were so delicious! 🫒 The truffle pasta is the most delicious, and the lasagna is also delicious. My favorite texture! ~~ There were too many, so I left some. I had a pleasant meal with a nice atmosphere. I think the calamari I ordered as an appetizer would be delicious even if it had a little more texture! The price is about 50 euros per person for a starter, main meal, and two glasses of wine? I'll go again for a date on a summer night 🧀🍷

The food was good, but sorry why on earth i can not seat with my friend next to me? We were here for my best friend b-day. After a while she joint me on a bench so we can hear each other better because the place was starting to be filled in. We were asked to sit separate because that is what „chef wants“. We left , even though we wanted to continue with deserts and wine. Not the best experience.

Family dinner on a tourist trip, just by chance and... well done, really good! The tagliatelle with lamb ragout was a spectacle, the fried squid as we eat it at the seaside here in Italy and finally the homemade cantucci! We also add a service with courtesy and friendliness and we have five stars on everything!

Nice place and Italian food, not at all. The only flaw is the chef or I don't know what position he has there. A certain Antonio (name heard during an argument between staff) was not very courteous and disrespectful, not having understood that customers only come to have lunch or dinner.

It says it's a wine bar, but the food is amazing! The pasta is freshly made and they're generous with the truffles. Fresh fish and meat from the grill. Anti-pasti includes imported finely sliced sausage and some clever carpaccio. For the wine drinkers there are regional cheese plates, with suggested wines. The waiters and the cooks are the real thing! Although it is not a budget restaurant, they use paper napkins and the service is friendly, but not as refined as a restaurant so it might not impress your #karen. There are just enough vegetarian dishes to satisfy, but harder for vegans. And for fun: the men's toilet has dozens of photos of male screen actors. I didn't get a few.

Sehr nices Ambiente und sehr guter, freundlicher Service. Leider war das Essen, der eigentliche Grund warum man aus geht, nicht sonderlich gut. Pizza, Lasagne und Tiramisu waren ok, aber nichts außergewöhnliches.

Urige Atmosphäre und nette herzliche und hilfsbereite Kellner. Pizza sehr klassisch und hauchdünn. Kieztypisch aber sehr hohe Preise. Pizzen kosten im Schnitt 15€. Für den Wareneinsatz ist mir das zu teuer. Ein Glas Rotwein 12€. Ich würde nicht wiederkommen.

Wir sassen an der Straße, aber auf einer bestens abgeschirmten Terrasse. Die Karte ist klein, aber fein und interessant, die Qualität höher als beim normalen Edelitaliener. Gute Weinauswahl, vor allem glasweise. Allerdings nicht für echte Weinnerds. Zum Wein kompetente Beratung.

Incredible how this man that express his hate to women like this can work as a waitress on public and serving food to people. Just impressed from the side of the restaurant having this person. Even that man looks on charge of the waitresses. Food doesn't matter anymore, because, after this interaction with my girlfriends everything tasted horrible. Just be aware if you are thinking to go there because that man is always there. I hope this message arrives to the restaurant management. Best

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Dal Contadino und hatten einen fantastischen Abend. Service, Ambiente, Essen, Getränke…..alles mit Liebe und in Perfektion. Wir waren mehr als begeistert und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Je n’imaginais pas le dire un jour, mais la pizza est parfaite. L’entrée de betterave rouge l’était aussi. Personnel très sympathique. Un 5/5 mérité.

Manometer. War das schön hier. Ein paar Italienischsprechende düsen durchs Lokal, schauen unauffällig nach dem Befinden und kümmern sich flink und freundlich um Wünsche. Ich habe es sehr genossen, auf ein spätes Glas Wein und Dessert vorbeigekommen zu sein. Nur diese Unsitte, Infobelege statt der Rechnungen auszugeben, finde ich nicht ok.

Wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden dort etwas zu Essen und es war super, wer Wein liebt ist dort genau richtig.

Sehr enttäuschend: Eine von 2 gleichzeitig bestellten Pizzen kam 25(!) Minuten nach allen schon servierten Gerichten. Außerdem wurde ein Weißwein einfach doppelt berechnet, und das bei dem stolzen Preis von 8,90 für 0,2l.

Cibo ottimo e personale accogliente e gentile

Das Restaurant liegt idyllisch in einer Seitenstraße und verfügt über einen Innen- und Außensitzbereich. Die Außenplätze sind teilweise überdacht und sehr gemütlich auf einem abgegrenztem Bereich der Straße. Von dort aus kann man dem Treiben der Passanten toll zusehen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Er konnte Weinempfehlungen geben, hielt kurz einen Plausch und untereinander sprachen die Angestellten Italienisch. Das hat zu einem authentischen Ambiente beigetragen. Die Speisenauswahl war sehr gut. Es gab Speisen auf der Karte, die ich so noch nicht gegessen habe, wie z.B. ein Zucchini-Carpaccio. Auch geschmacklich haben mich die Gerichte überzeugt. Sehr sehr lecker. Man schmeckte die gut ausgewählten Zutaten. Toller Laden, ich komme gerne wieder.

Alles sehr gut. Essen Top. Ein Glas Wein für 10€ fand ich aber unverhältnismäßig teuer. Auch wenn es ein guter Wein war...

I wish I could give zero stars but I cant and the food is probably worth a star. But the waiter went absolutely aggressive and shouted at us for nothing. Not recommended at all. You will find a lot of other nice Italian places around the corner!

Lieber woanders hin gehen! Der Service des jungen Mannes war eine Zumutung - unfreundlich und genervt. .. Ich frage mich, warum man eine Geburtstagsgruppe an einem Tisch am Durchgang platziert und dann ständig die Gäste anmault, sie seien im Weg... Wer seine Gäste so behandelt brüskiert vor allem auch das "Geburtstagskind" - peinlich und unprofessionell! Zum Essen: durchschnittlich und dafür zu teuer. -Nudeln mit Schwertfisch... trocken und gingen teilweise zurück -Caponata... wenig schmackhaft -Pizza... wohl die beste Wahl, hat aber bei einigen Gästen die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt Fazit: Da gibt es definitiv bessere Italiener in Mitte - wir kommen nicht wieder.

Bester Italiener in Mitte. Die Preise sind gehoben, jedoch ist dies absolut begründet. Beste Qualität, freundliches Personal, köstliche Speisen. Das Restaurant ist etwas beengt, jedoch macht dies gerade auch irgendwie den Charme aus. Draußen sitzt man sehr schön, die Straße ist ruhig und wenig befahren. Wir hatten nach sehr vielen Besuchen einmalig ein Problem mit dem Essen, woraufhin sich der Koch persönlich angehört hat, was falsch war, sich entschuldigte und wir dann, obwohl es kein allzu dramatischer Fehler war, für dieses eine Gericht nicht zahlen mussten. Die Kritik wurde freundlich angenommen und wir wurden auch seither immer weiter freundlich behandelt. Genau so sollte es sein, tolle Kritikfähigkeit und Kulanz, die man heutzutage leider nur noch selten antrifft und generell absolute Meister ihres Handwerks, ein Fehler passiert ab und zu ja jedem Mal.

Nett hier. Eine leicht urige Ecklokalität in Mitte. Etwas ungewöhnliche Einrichtung bzw. Raumaufteilung, eher für eine Kneipe, nicht sehr intim wenn die Tischnachbarn alles mithören. Personal war freundlich aber es fehlte an Herzlichkeit. Das Essen war gut aber hat nicht umgehauen. Preislich nicht günstig aber eine solide Option.

I found the atmosphere cozy and the service good. The only problem is the non-optimal value for money: the quality of the food is generally good but I found the price excessive. I also found a lack of courtesy the fact that to our request to just have tap water the reply was "we have no tap water". Funny, isn't it? Perhaps is this place the only one in Berlin not assisted by running water? Or maybe their policy seeks to push the costumer to order a bottle of water for a modest price of 6,90 euro? Lack of basic infrastructures or greed? I will leave to the people reading this review the verdict.

This is a 4.5 for us. The food is relatively pricey but homemade, fresh and very tasty. The selection of main courses is small but diverse and interesting. The staff was great. Friendly and heartfelt. The food seemed very authentic even the staff was italian. Great atmosphere but not necessarily family suitable.

Staff was unfriendly saying "we are busy people and don't have time to split the bill. Take care if this yourself" - do you consider this a service mindset? Food was also just average

Schönes Ambiente, zuvorkommende Bedienung und ausgesprochen leckeres Essen.

Wir waren für ein Treffen mit mehreren Kollegen da. Da dieser Ort große Tische hat eignet es sich gut. Allerdings haben wir den Geräuschpegel unterschätzt und konnten selbst schreiend kaum was verstehen. Wir mussten danach noch was anderes suchen um uns in Ruhe zu unterhalten. Der Wein ist richtig gut, das Essen ok. Ich würde die Vorspeisen und die Pizza empfehlen, das ist aber Geschmacksache. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, ich empfand sie als sehr angenehm.

This lovely, bustling Italian restaurant is on a quiet side street, but just a couple of minutes' walk from our hotel on Weinmeisterstrasse. We ate there twice and greatly enjoyed not only the food but also the delightful and efficient service. Highly recommended.

I went with my friends to have a birthday dinner, the restaurant is cozy and has a nice environment. However, the service was terrible, the waitress was rude and forgot half of the things we ordered to eat and drink even tho he confirmed with us the order. (Therefore some of us didn’t have dinner) Additionally it took ages to order and get the food. For the price paid you expect a better service but unfortunately was not the case. Not recommended at all.

Wow, I overheard the Italian waiter literally insult heavily his customers - in Italian, thinking no-one would understand him. Also food was mediocre and there was a human hair in the truffle pasta :(

Ich war gestern Abend in dem Restaurant essen und habe nach der Trüffelpasta eine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekommen, sodass ich nachts in der Notaufnahme gelandet bin. Darüber hinaus hat man sich in dem Restaurant als Gast nicht besonders willkommen gefühlt, beim Bezahlen wurde uns zB einfach kommentarlos das Kartengerät auf den Tisch gelegt und wir mussten uns selbst „abkassieren“.

Check this out! Nicht der günstigste Italiener, nein. Aber was hier geliefert wird, hat Charakter und zeugt von Sorgfalt und Hingabe. Übrigens: Das Personal kann italienisch.

Waren abends um 22.30 Uhr auf einen (tatsächlich guten) Wein da, uns wurde gleich gesagt, dass bald geschlossen wird, dass man sich nicht an einen freien Tisch setzt ohne zu fragen, wenn man Kultur hat etc. Extrem unfreundlich, belehrend und herablassend ging es weiter, Bezahlung ohne Wechselgeld rauszugeben. Leider sehr negative Erfahrung!

In diesem Retaurant taucht man ein in eine italienische Antmosphäre. Man denkt wirklich, dass man in der Toskana ist. Beste Nudeln, die wir seit langem gegessen haben. Guter Wein und super Service. Meine Schwester und ich hatten einen wunderschönen Abend.

Wir wollten schön essen gehen und am Besten auch noch unser Stamm Restaurant finden. Die Preise sind "gehobener", als haben wir gutes Essen und guten Service erwartet. Bestellt wurde Trüffel Pasta und eine Pizza mit Pilzen. Bekommen haben wir eine Pizza mit wenig Belag und Pilzen aus der Dose. Die Pasta war frisch, aber leider nichts besonderes. Als wir den jungen Herrn auf die Dosen Pilzen ansprachen, wurde wir abgewiesen. Die nette Service Kraft versuchte uns weiter zuhelfen. Der junge Mann sagte bloß, dann solle man sich keine Pizza bestellen. Leider eine unschöne Erfahrung und von uns nicht empfehlenswert, da wir selbst berufliche Erfahrungen aus der Gastro haben.

As Italian I can say that the food was very good. All the employees are Italian and friendly. Good mixed antipasti. Out of personal preference, the paccheri were a bit too much al dente but the spada sauce (swordfish) was exquisite. Recommend the place
