Daintree Burger Bar in Kempten (Allgäu)

A tip when ordering is to state that no fries are included. Otherwise the burgers won't taste better next time. I don't even like the coffee. I question how the store has managed to survive in this location, probably because of the nice staff.

The food was very tasty but the potatoes were cold and overcooked, the waitresses were very frustrated that everything else was normal

Super tasty bugs and a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The service is quick and very friendly. Definitely make a reservation if you want to come over in the evening.

The visit with my son on a weekend in the summer was really nice in terms of the atmosphere, the service was very friendly, but I've never spent so much money on ice cream and a... well, I can't call it iced coffee. So my son wanted 3 scoops of ice cream. The waitress said that was really a lot and a big portion. We stayed at three. I ordered an iced coffee. The lady brought the ice cream, which was really manageable and it wasn't scoops but more like soft serve ice cream (that fwip as I later realized). My iced coffee was a disaster: a double espresso with regular ice cubes. I looked a little strange and asked what that was and was told they didn't know what else it was... an iced coffee?!? I commented that it was normal with vanilla ice cream, she said: oh win affogato!? No no… oh and then she just brought me a vanilla “ball”. In addition. Well... you couldn't drink the ice-water-espresso and when I got the bill I was completely blown away: the ice "balls" cost €5.50 per serving!!!!! So I paid a fortune for these three mini ice cream scoops, my failed double espresso and another scoop of vanilla ice cream, which then arrived without being asked!!! €27.30!!! That's a bit outrageous.

Very friendly service. Food on the table quickly, even at lunchtime. Bowls and burgers have a great selection and taste delicious. Small negative points: it drafts like pike soup in winter and not all seats have backrests. And the coffee is way too strong. I only drink espresso but it was more like a Turkish mocha.

My boyfriend and I spent lovely hours here on the day after New Year's Eve. Great atmosphere with lots of greenery and the food was delicious. We had burgers and dessert. The waitress was always very, very friendly and had a detailed answer for every question.

We ate there today and everything was actually very tasty... except for my burger, some of the patty was COMPLETELY RAW!!! Waitress apologized but that was it! Nothing from the kitchen, no discount… Sorry, but that's underground

The food was actually quite good, as was the service. BUT: the volume of the music in the store was out of the question! It was so loud, we literally had to scream at each other. Even the waitress confirmed to us that this was part of the concept and that she wouldn't hear anything after work. Why do you do something like that? If I want to go to a club, I'll do that and not go to a burger joint. No more!

Before we went to the Cro concert we ate there. Unfortunately, my falafel bowl and sweet potato fries had a strange aftertaste. My friend's burger didn't taste good either. The staff was understaffed and couldn't keep up. I think the calculation was wrong here. We will give the restaurant a second chance if we get the chance because the ambience is quite promising.

Food was really good. Unfortunately, both women who worked there were very ambitious and didn't feel like it. An employee at the next table was having so much fun with her private conversations that she could overhear everything and it was pretty annoying. When she was called, it felt like she only responded after the 10th time. It's a shame when people go to work with a disinterested attitude. Sorry, doesn't work at all

Unfortunately, heavily overrated. Food tastes good, portions too small. I wasn't full and paid €27. The ambience looks nice, but here form takes precedence over function. Chairs see picture are brutally uncomfortable, would like a backrest and not a 3 cm wooden beam. Water in the sink doesn't drain, the table wobbles extremely. Both are easy to fix. Flickering fairy lights and fake candles on the tables are unfortunately just annoying. Dried orange in special reudig. Unfortunately the knife is blunt and unsuitable for cutting burgers. Staff nice, bartender cool, music selection 10/10. But I still don't like coming back because the price/performance ratio just doesn't fit.

The food was ok. Visually well presented. The taste is a bit over-seasoned, but that's my personal taste. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly staff and the overall great service 👍

Price/performance is already very steep. The taste is ok, but you would expect more for a pure burger shop. The selection is great, but the patties come across like frozen goods... 46 euros for 2 burgers that taste mediocre - difficult. But: tastes are different. Service was very nice and the waiting time was short.

It’s a nice restaurant to dine in and the staff were so welcoming. The fries and the drinks were so good weather how they were presented or taste. However the burger I had was drowning in mustard, which actually didn’t make me enjoy the taste.

We waited more than 25 minutes for our order to be taken. Despite asking if someone would come to us, we were ignored by the waitress, even though there was hardly anything going on. Afterwards we left because a guest shouldn't wait half an hour for the order to be taken... What a shame!

I called today and asked if there was still space available and on the phone they said yes, you are welcome to come. When we got there the waitress couldn't even come to the door and just shook her head and didn't even explain anything to us Very unfortunate

Greatly furnished burger bar with cozy niches, high tables etc., we really liked it straight away. Fast, very friendly service team. We didn't eat anything, but the menu reads very well: in addition to burgers in a variety of variations, there are also bowls and salads as well as small dishes such as fries or chicken wings. Above all, there is a large selection for vegetarians and vegans. What was carried past us looked extremely good, we will definitely be back!

The opening times are probably not correct. We were charged at 9:30 p.m. even though it said online that it was open until midnight. The service was very rude and we felt like we were thrown out immediately after cashing in, even though we still had half an Aperol Tower.

Was there for the third time now and find it visually very appealing and the food so far has been very fresh, beautifully prepared and delicious. A nice place if you have something to do in Kempten and want to eat well.

On September 30th around 7-8:30 p.m. the burger was good and the drinks too. Also nice ambience. We were very satisfied, especially because the gentleman and lady who served us were very personable and extremely friendly. 🔝

We actually went there three times during our vacation and for the simple reason that we were served so friendly. And that was also confirmed the other two times. Really, strikingly friendly and sooo nice!!!!!!! Not to mention the delicious burgers.

I love burgers, but unfortunately the burgers at Daintree are not worth the high price. The service person who served us was also rather unaccommodating since there was hardly any sauce on a burger. They just threw a tube at us.

Unusual special burgers, however, are a bit small and quite expensive in terms of price. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with our burger (burger bun was forgotten) with a moderately good reaction from the staff 🤷🏻‍♂️ Nevertheless, a recommendation if you like extravagant burgers and street food.

I've been to the Daintree in Kempten a few times and the food and drinks are absolutely fine. I also think the “Aperoliker Wednesday” evenings are great, as they offer a certain “southern” flair on the beautiful terrace. However, I am giving the two stars because I stopped in with my girlfriend on Monday, September 2nd, to have something to eat. We wanted to go in because it was a little too warm outside. We waited at the entrance as we never want to seat ourselves. After about a minute of standing “in” the entrance, I went to the bar and asked the bartender if he could give us a table for two. We had a free choice of seats because there were only two tables occupied inside and there was probably no reservation time (around 2:20 p.m.). We sat down at a large table and wanted to order a drink. There were no menu cards on the table, these are probably handed out by the staff, which is absolutely fine. But what is NOT okay is the fact that an employee in a gray/brownish outfit just walked around for about 10 minutes, took photos at the counter (with a flash, of whatever - maybe for social media?) and saw us several times - but showed no reaction. So we didn't get the chance to order anything within the first ten minutes and had to wait. I'm from the catering industry myself, my family has been running several businesses in tourist areas for over 35 years, but I have no understanding for something like this. The table across from us also felt neglected and forced to approach the lady in the above-mentioned outfit because she wanted to pay. “A colleague is coming right away,” was the answer - in a tone that was a bit too mushy - and Transit ran past. My friend and I then got up and left because we were literally ignored (even if it was only for 10 minutes). I'll definitely be back and will adjust the rating accordingly, as everyone can have a bad day.

Went to Naruto this evening! Right next to daintree. I have no idea who celebrated your wedding, birthday or anything else - it doesn't matter. I find the volume to be MAXIMUM OUTRAGEOUS - a reason not to enter this restaurant again 😡! Also an impertinence towards Naruto! IT JUST DOESN'T WORK AT ALL, it borders on disturbing the peace 😡😡😡! P.S.: I clicked on the whole thing just to be able to send 😡😡😡

The burgers are really good but there is a management problem (the staff they have works and tries to serve but they are saturated). They lasted more than 35 minutes. While serving a beer. I ordered a beer and after at least 20 minutes the table was still without beer and my mouth was dry. I kindly reminded them if they had forgotten my beer... After that nice reminder it took about 15 minutes. Management should take measures to shorten this time.

The meat tasted like dog food and the prices were way too expensive. I wouldn't recommend it

Unfortunately not recommended. The service staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was also pleasant. Unfortunately the food doesn't fit at all, We ordered 2 burgers: a cesar with crispy chicken and a burger with beef, mushrooms, etc. First, after waiting 40 minutes for our food, one of the waitresses came and said she was very sorry but unfortunately they didn't have crispy chicken anymore. Would it be ok if you could make it with normal chicken? That wasn't a big problem at first. After another 20 minutes our meal came, the cesar burger with normal chicken as announced and the other burger unfortunately not without onions as ordered. After we pointed this out to the waitress, she said yes, they said without onions, so we only mean normal onions and no melted onions. But then she took it with her and apologized. After a few minutes she brought us the burger again. Unfortunately for us, it was cold so only the onions were removed and brought back to us at the table. We were then told that they were very sorry and that we would get something on the house. After we asked for the bill, no one said anything about the burger issue or anything on the house - the full price was collected. Never again and really not recommended

I was there on August 9th around 12:30/1:00 p.m. with a friend and our friends from France. The waitress with brown hair and glasses made a lot of effort to communicate with our friends and explain the menu to them. Generally very polite and attentive! Food great as always!

I ordered a Pea Diddy Burger. There are no allergens or additives advertised on the menu regarding this burger. When asked if there were peanuts in the falafel patty, the waitress said no. You couldn't tell from the menu that the patty was breaded. There must have been peanuts in the breading (or something was mixed up in the kitchen) because I suffered a severe allergic reaction after eating it. The service was good and the location is nice.

Ordered food, called after 2 hours to find out where the food was. We were put off, the food would arrive in 10 minutes. Another hour later, we've already been waiting for 3 hours! called again and said the storm had delayed deliveries. I understand a lot of things, but not if the order was placed more than 1 hour before the storm started and the delivery confirmation was confirmed 30 minutes later. Even 2 hours after the storm cell still no delivery, very annoying. A telephone response would have been advantageous in this case. We are very disappointed with this service!! After all, we paid over €60!!! After 3 hours and 20 Minutes later it was finally delivered. Please note the delivery was faulty!! Statement from supplier: the storm was not to blame. Overwhelming the kitchen! Compensated with 2 drinks for 3 people!

I eat at the Daintree Restaurant often and have been satisfied so far, but it has happened very often recently that after reserving a table by telephone, I always got a place at the bar, even though I always mentioned that I didn't have a table at the bar. In addition, no other table was given despite requests, as the tables were apparently completely reserved. The second thing I have to mention is that I ordered sweet potato fries home, for which I had to pay €7.00 and in the end 3/4 of the package arrived completely empty. I think it's outrageous to charge €7.00 for a handful of sweet potato fries. I haven't experienced anything like this with Daintree in the past but lately the quality has dropped dramatically!

Very modern and pleasant seating in a warm, feel-good atmosphere. The wooden look menu is elegant and unusual :) The burger is first class, everything is fried to perfection. Really juicy, but the price also increases accordingly :)

This burger place may have the friendliest service around, definitely improving the overall experience. Burgers and drinks are great and a lot of combinations to choose from.

The food was good, but nothing special. The concept is strongly based on other burger chains. Dessert uses the simplest ready-made products.

The super attentive service is the highlight. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. The selection of burgers is large and they taste good.

Unfortunately, my chicken burger was raw, I waited about 20 minutes before I could complain about it, and I waited another 30 minutes for it to be remedied. In the end I had to pay for the burger in full. I will no longer go to the Daintree and I will not recommend it to anyone or even advise against it. I was charged an additional side dish of coleslaw salad, which actually comes with the citizen. Service is 0, as is the kitchen. A pity!

The burger arrived quickly and tasted great. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would love to come back.
