Today we had a lovely celebration with family and friends (80 people in total). The team around Ivan and especially the service team were fantastic. The buffet put together was very tasty and rich. All in all we had a wonderful day in a great atmosphere. Thanks to the “Da Vinci Team”

I love it. Everything was great, always nice and humorous employees! The prices have risen a lot, but I understand that too. There are enough parking spaces available.

The dishes on offer read better than they ultimately end up on the plate. Gahr levels are also an issue when it comes to meat, as it tends to be very dry. The pizzas, however, are really good. I think that a smaller menu would be good for the restaurant, then you could do without ready-made sauces and focus more on quality. We also had an uncomfortable experience with one of the waiters who reacted strongly emotionally; a little professionalism would be desirable here. We can understand that you are stressed, but the guest does not benefit if you reflect your stress level.

Everything was great, the price/performance ratio was ok, the food was very tasty (in my case it was the "Da Vinci pan"), the waiter was friendly...

Very nice atmosphere, top service, always nice staff, food consistently delicious. Brilliant place for all kinds of celebrations, whether large or small. Always happy to come there again.

I see nice waiters, delicious food and a comfortable place to sit. It's better to reserve in the evening. Not wheelchair accessible.

Nice atmosphere, you can sit well inside and out. The staff is nice and quick. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of variety. The burger was amazing, the fries were crispy and the price was reasonable, so 5 stars.

We had a meal in the restaurant with a total of ten people. There is also a huge outdoor area, partially covered and shaded. The waitresses were all friendly and attentive. A small point deduction for the service, as one waiter came across as overly pushy and friendly. The restaurant has a varied menu. Price performance is completely ok. A recommendation can be made for the homemade spritzers! We rated the food itself as having great taste and the quantity was absolutely sufficient! In summary, the restaurant is worth recommending!!!

The food tasted really good here. Unfortunately, despite two waitresses outside, we waited a long time for drinks and payment that evening. Other guests waited over 45 minutes to place their order. Ambience was rather normal and not really comfortable. There would be significantly more here. It seems more like...quickly in, eat and go again...

Ambience 5 stars. Unfortunately the food was unsuccessful. 1. Cordonbleu was drowned in hollandaise sauce. 2. Normal schnitzel was so hard on the edge that it had to be returned. 3. 1x pizza too burnt on the edge, black. 4. When Super Crunch fries are on the menu I expect something different than regular fries. We were also annoyed by the waiter's friendly chatter at times. A printout of the invoice would have been nice...unsolicited.

Total überbewertet, Pizza war trocken, Belag eher sparsam dosiert, und machen den Pizzateig nicht selber, bekommen dieses geliefert. Eine Bekannte kam auf uns zu, wollte noch eine Pizza bestellen, Aussage--haben keine Pizza Rohlinge mehr.

In my opinion, there are only a handful of places in Velbert where you can really eat well. But this restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. Whether for business or pleasure, everyone will find something to suit their taste here. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, all of which are freshly and lovingly prepared. The ambience is pleasant and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even sweeter.

Snapshots - first visit, during Corona times. Vaccination check is carried out. On the place. Well-filled cutlery containers and sufficient supplies of napkins for all guests are already waiting on all the tables. Otherwise harmonious atmosphere. Except for the guest room being a little too cold (November), it seems unheated for some guests, with outside temperatures of 13 degrees. The pizza we ordered (“Thomas”) is large, thick, very high dough content, very filling (if you like that). The forgotten salad arrives a bit late, unfortunately torn into small pieces, impossible to fork and helplessly drowned in balsamic vinegar. Leftover food or used plates on various tables are only cleared away upon request. Payment not possible with all credit cards. Conclusion: I'm full. In a double sense. On a holiday afternoon. No arguments to come back again. If his namesake Da Vinci had his way, the universal genius (“The greatest perfection lies in simplicity”) would certainly still have a lot of development potential here.

A little more expensive now, but still good. the pizza is prepared without oregano. Even if the pizza maker is different, the pizza is still very good.

The menu is too colorful and the quality of the food is at the level of a chip shop. In my opinion not recommended.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant with super comfortable seating and a beautiful winter garden (converted veranda) The service was very courteous and quick. Had a starter and two main courses. We shared the starter. Both were super satisfied. Before paying we ordered a pizza to take away for our daughter. The waiting time was super short, maybe we were pushed in between. Would love to come back

Nice place, the food is ok, when the place is full it's too loud.

The service was in a good mood, the food came quickly enough and was very tasty. The only drawback is the parking situation. There are a few at the restaurant, but they are always busy because the restaurant is busy. You can then move to the parking lot at Mediamarkt, but then you have to walk a bit. Otherwise recommended...

About the food - Da Vinci stays true to its line and continues to serve the same food. Steak, burgers, pizza, pasta and baked potatoes. The food is quite okay for a small town. But nothing that stands out. The service is okay. The ambience - really nice. Da Vinci is one of the few locations that has its own space. It's nice and quiet and after the small changes, there's even a kind of winter garden.

This restaurant is awesome with two M’s! I had a delicious vegan burger. The most hectic waiter on the planet also works here. But that's the charm!

It was fun celebrating our wedding at Da Vinci. We can only give positive feedback: as usual and expected, the food was great, the ambience was appropriate and the service was also good. Special requests were addressed immediately. The boss always made sure that all guests and especially us were satisfied. The Da Vinci can only be recommended!

Great atmosphere, nice waiters and very tasty pizza.

I went there for dinner with a friend as a girls' night out. It was a Thursday, where the special meal is always 1 kg of prawns grilled in garlic oil with bread, salad and two different garlic dips, which we both ordered. Totally delicious and highly recommended. And if you don't know da Vinci, their homemade fruit spritzers are amazing, simply divine.

DaVinci is the best restaurant in Velbert and the surrounding area. They stand out from many restaurants with affordable lunch and schnitzel/steak evenings. Trained chefs still cook here. Permanent service staff, whose faces you now know, round off the visit. The location is steeped in history and the furnishings are perfectly tailored to it. Large investments are made every year. I hope everything stays that way, then we will remain loyal to you for years to come.

Were invited to a confirmation party here today. Had Mediterranean buffet. There was antipasti for every table in advance. Very very tasty! The staff was very attentive. It was always refilled and asked for straight away. The atmosphere is really great and has factory charm with bricks. There used to be an old bakery here. Definitely coming here to eat again!

The food has become better than before, pizza is very tasty, fries are nice and crispy. Service also very good and attentive. It's a really good place now. The homemade spritzers, highly recommended.

There is a lot of gastronomy in Cologne, but Da Vinci in Velbert, only 60 km away, stands out for us. Despite the distance, we are happy to make the journey to eat here. The food is always prepared to perfection, the service is unbeatably attentive and the homemade lemonades in various varieties are highly recommended. The portions are so generous that almost everyone gets something to take away. Rarely have we experienced a restaurant where everything runs hand in hand so routinely. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend Da Vinci!

Good cuisine at fair prices. From pizza/pasta to meat/pan reviews to burgers, there is a good selection. I've had a bit of everything and have had nothing but good experiences. The only thing that didn't appeal to me was the cheese used in a 4-cheese pizza, but that's a matter of taste. It's always very busy, but there's a bit of space and quiet for confidential conversations or something similar.

We like being there. Nice service, great food in a nice atmosphere.

Been there again after a long time. 3x pasta 3x bad. Lasagna only pasta and cheese, you had to look for the minced meat, partly dry, Spaghetti Bolognese, you had to look for the minced meat there too, which wasn't supposed to be, the Pasta Toscana was drowned in oil. Taste can be debated, but none of the dishes tasted like Bella Italia. It's a shame, but Da Vinci can't do pasta.

Food and service top. Always worth a visit!

Went to Da Vinci for the first time last week and I really liked it. Had a schnitzel with fries that was really good. Ambiance is great. The team extremely friendly. Come by every now and then and ask what's right.

It starts with the fact that the restaurant is one of the very few that is open from 12 p.m. And you can also eat something before 5 p.m. There are also parking spaces on site and outside. The ambience is very nice. The restaurant is usually very busy, so of course there is a certain amount of noise. The menu has something for everyone and the dishes I tried were without exception delicious. The prices are also fair. The spritzers are also particularly recommended. DaVinci is one of my favorite restaurants and I can only recommend it.

Went there today with 2 people. Wednesday schnitzel day. A variety of schnitzels for €11.90. Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes was very tasty. Absolutely sufficient portion. Super attentive and very nice service. We would love to come back when in Velbert.

Sehr lecker, super freundliche und aufmerksame Kellner, gerne immer wieder!

Seit einanhalb Jahren gehe ich sehr gerne und regelmäßig ins DaVinci essen und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht! Es ist immer lecker, frisch und jedesmal wunderbar zubereitet. Kein einziges Mal hab es irgendein Problem mit dem Essen. Die Kellner und Mitarbeiter sind stets aufmerksam, besonders der Oberkellner hat immer einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen! DaVinci gehört für mich zu den besten Restaurants in ganz Velbert. Man sollte zum Wochenende zeitig reservieren, weil es da regelmäßig voll sein wird. Absolute Weiterempfehlung! PS: Ambiente nur vier Sterne, was nur an der starken Geräuschkulisse des Gebäudes liegt, wenn es volles Haus ist, ansonsten Top!

Heute das zweite mal da gewesen, jetzt ist es Zeit für eine Bewertung. Italiänisches Restaurant, war trotzdem mutig, hab Burger bestellt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Alles frisch und freundlicher Service. Kölsch ist kalt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal und die Preise stimmen auch. Sind immer wieder gerne zum Essen hier.

Also ich kann leider die ganzen positiven Bewertungen hier nicht bestätigen. Zu erst das positive. Das Ambiente hier ist wirklich toll. Die Räumlichkeiten sind wirklich schön und man kann sich hier wohl fühlen. Vom Verkaufsraum bis zu den Sanitäranlagen war alles in bester Ordnung. Um so schlimmer finde ich es, was aus dieser Location gemacht wird. Die Speisekarte klingt sehr gut aber das was hier serviert wird könnte deutlich besser sein. Mein Cordon Bleu wurde in der typischen "Tüten Hollandaise" ertränkt und auch bei meinen Begleitern machte das Essen den Eindruck als würden hier einfach nur fertige Saucen und Produkte zu einem Essen zusammen gestellt. Richtig frisch gekocht war hier, zumindest nach unserer Meinung nichts. Der Service war am Anfang sehr bemüht und alles klappte super, leider lies dies, nachdem das Essen serviert war schlagartig nach. Ich hätte gerne noch ein Bier getrunken, es kam aber über eine halbe Stunde lang niemand um weitere Getränkewünsche entgegen zu nehmen. Es ist wirklich sehr schade, aber unter diesen Umständen werde ich so schnell leider nicht mehr wieder kommen. Ich würde mich freuen wenn hier zukünftig mehr Wert auf frisches gut gekochtes Essen gelegt würde, dafür bin ich auch gerne bereit mehr auszugeben, als auf zusammen gestellte Convenience-Produkte. Das Ambienten in der Lokalität hätte es auf jeden Fall verdient.

Wir waren gestern mit einer größeren Gruppe da. Klasse Spareribs und andere Gerichte. Sehr aufmerksamer Service und günstige Preise.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum ersten Weihnachtstag zum Mittagessen. Das Essen ist einfach klasse und hoch qualitativ. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam von Anfang bis Ende. Die Karte bietet vieles an und wird klasse zubereitet. Das Essen kam bei 8 Personen zeitnah, so dass man gemeinsam das Essen genießen konnte. Herzensempfehlung!!!

Es war der Hammer und ultra lecker

Super leckeres Essen von Pizza, Nudeln, Burger oder Fleischgerichte und sehr freundliches Servicepersonal. Es ist das Lieblingsrestaurant der ganzen Familie. Wir haben dort noch nichts gegessen was uns nicht geschmeckt hat! Ein besonderes Highlight ist für uns aber die Spielecke, endlich ein Restaurant wo auch die Kids beschäftigt sind und Spaß haben!
