From planning to execution, everything was simply perfect, and both the location and the service far exceeded my expectations. The location: The beautiful location impressed us the first time we visited the restaurant. The elegant rooms offer a romantic yet stylish atmosphere that is ideal for a wedding. The hall was perfectly decorated, with a loving and detailed design that created a wonderful ambience. I found it particularly nice that there was enough space to hold both the formal part of the celebration and the party afterwards without it ever becoming too cramped. The food: The culinary experience was simply magnificent. We had already gotten a fantastic impression from the tasting beforehand, and on the wedding day itself our expectations were even exceeded. The dishes were not only beautifully presented, but also tasted excellent. The selection of dishes was varied, so there was something for every guest - whether vegetarian, vegan or meat lover. I would particularly like to highlight the quality and freshness of the ingredients, which was reflected in every bite. Many of our guests later commented on how delicious the food was, and that is definitely a big compliment to the kitchen team. The service: The wait staff was absolutely fantastic. Every single employee was attentive, friendly and always tried to fulfill our wishes and those of our guests. The staff always seemed to be there at just the right moment, be it to refill a glass or fulfill small special requests. Everything remained professional and courteous at all times, which ensured a relaxed and happy atmosphere. What was particularly impressive was how the team remained calm even in hectic moments and took care of everything with a smile. A special thank you goes to the owner, who was at our side during the planning phase and was very committed to ensuring that our day was really perfect. He took the time to discuss all of our ideas and also made short-term changes possible without any problems. You can feel that he cares about the well-being of his guests and attaches great importance to quality and satisfaction. His warm and professional manner made us feel like we were in the best hands on this important day. In summary, we highly recommend Da Vinci to anyone planning an unforgettable wedding reception or other special event. The combination of a fantastic location, excellent food, first-class service and excellent support from the owner made our wedding an unforgettable experience. Both dishes, pizza margarita and pasta pollo, didn't taste good at all. It just didn't taste like anything and the pizza was dry, no trace of cheese! Totally disappointed! Without words, I would have preferred to eat bread and butter! What a shame about the time and money! Never again

It was great... delicious food... Attention: The pizzas were huge ☺️... Service was very attentive and also tried hard to find alternatives... I had the ingredients for one described on the menu Pizza not there. But suggestions for alternatives immediately came. Of course there are other things there besides pizza. I had a latte macchiato...mint tea with fresh mint was also served at the table. Really great, and I wouldn't have expected.....🤩

Very friendly condition and good food

Today we had a lovely celebration with family and friends (80 people in total). The team around Ivan and especially the service team were fantastic. The buffet put together was very tasty and rich. All in all we had a wonderful day in a great atmosphere. Thanks to the “Da Vinci Team”

I love it. Everything was great, always nice and humorous employees! The prices have risen a lot, but I understand that too. There are enough parking spaces available.

The dishes on offer read better than they ultimately end up on the plate. Gahr levels are also an issue when it comes to meat, as it tends to be very dry. The pizzas, however, are really good. I think that a smaller menu would be good for the restaurant, then you could do without ready-made sauces and focus more on quality. We also had an uncomfortable experience with one of the waiters who reacted strongly emotionally; a little professionalism would be desirable here. We can understand that you are stressed, but the guest does not benefit if you reflect your stress level.

Nice atmosphere, you can sit well inside and out. The staff is nice and quick. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of variety. The burger was amazing, the fries were crispy and the price was reasonable, so 5 stars.

We had a meal in the restaurant with a total of ten people. There is also a huge outdoor area, partially covered and shaded. The waitresses were all friendly and attentive. A small point deduction for the service, as one waiter came across as overly pushy and friendly. The restaurant has a varied menu. Price performance is completely ok. A recommendation can be made for the homemade spritzers! We rated the food itself as having great taste and the quantity was absolutely sufficient! In summary, the restaurant is worth recommending!!!

The food tasted really good here. Unfortunately, despite two waitresses outside, we waited a long time for drinks and payment that evening. Other guests waited over 45 minutes to place their order. Ambience was rather normal and not really comfortable. There would be significantly more here. It seems more like...quickly in, eat and go again...

Ambience 5 stars. Unfortunately the food was unsuccessful. 1. Cordonbleu was drowned in hollandaise sauce. 2. Normal schnitzel was so hard on the edge that it had to be returned. 3. 1x pizza too burnt on the edge, black. 4. When Super Crunch fries are on the menu I expect something different than regular fries. We were also annoyed by the waiter's friendly chatter at times. A printout of the invoice would have been nice...unsolicited.

In my opinion, there are only a handful of places in Velbert where you can really eat well. But this restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. Whether for business or pleasure, everyone will find something to suit their taste here. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, all of which are freshly and lovingly prepared. The ambience is pleasant and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even sweeter.

Snapshots - first visit, during Corona times. Vaccination check is carried out. On the place. Well-filled cutlery containers and sufficient supplies of napkins for all guests are already waiting on all the tables. Otherwise harmonious atmosphere. Except for the guest room being a little too cold (November), it seems unheated for some guests, with outside temperatures of 13 degrees. The pizza we ordered (“Thomas”) is large, thick, very high dough content, very filling (if you like that). The forgotten salad arrives a bit late, unfortunately torn into small pieces, impossible to fork and helplessly drowned in balsamic vinegar. Leftover food or used plates on various tables are only cleared away upon request. Payment not possible with all credit cards. Conclusion: I'm full. In a double sense. On a holiday afternoon. No arguments to come back again. If his namesake Da Vinci had his way, the universal genius (“The greatest perfection lies in simplicity”) would certainly still have a lot of development potential here.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant with super comfortable seating and a beautiful winter garden (converted veranda) The service was very courteous and quick. Had a starter and two main courses. We shared the starter. Both were super satisfied. Before paying we ordered a pizza to take away for our daughter. The waiting time was super short, maybe we were pushed in between. Would love to come back

There are a few at the restaurant, but they are always busy because the restaurant is busy. You can then move to the parking lot at Mediamarkt, but then you have to walk a bit. About the food - Da Vinci stays true to its line and continues to serve the same food. Steak, burgers, pizza, pasta and baked potatoes. The food is quite okay for a small town. But nothing that stands out. The service is okay. The ambience - really nice. Da Vinci is one of the few locations that has its own space. It's nice and quiet and after the small changes, there's even a kind of winter garden.

This restaurant is awesome with two M’s! I had a delicious vegan burger. The most hectic waiter on the planet also works here. But that's the charm!

I went there for dinner with a friend as a girls' night out. It was a Thursday, where the special meal is always 1 kg of prawns grilled in garlic oil with bread, salad and two different garlic dips, which we both ordered. Totally delicious and highly recommended. And if you don't know da Vinci, their homemade fruit spritzers are amazing, simply divine.

DaVinci is the best restaurant in Velbert and the surrounding area. They stand out from many restaurants with affordable lunch and schnitzel/steak evenings. Trained chefs still cook here. Permanent service staff, whose faces you now know, round off the visit. The location is steeped in history and the furnishings are perfectly tailored to it. Large investments are made every year. I hope everything stays that way, then we will remain loyal to you for years to come.

Were invited to a confirmation party here today. Had Mediterranean buffet. There was antipasti for every table in advance. Very very tasty! The staff was very attentive. It was always refilled and asked for straight away. The atmosphere is really great and has factory charm with bricks. There used to be an old bakery here. Definitely coming here to eat again!

There is a lot of gastronomy in Cologne, but Da Vinci in Velbert, only 60 km away, stands out for us. Despite the distance, we are happy to make the journey to eat here. The food is always prepared to perfection, the service is unbeatably attentive and the homemade lemonades in various varieties are highly recommended. The portions are so generous that almost everyone gets something to take away. Rarely have we experienced a restaurant where everything runs hand in hand so routinely. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend Da Vinci!

Good cuisine at fair prices. From pizza/pasta to meat/pan reviews to burgers, there is a good selection. I've had a bit of everything and have had nothing but good experiences. The only thing that didn't appeal to me was the cheese used in a 4-cheese pizza, but that's a matter of taste. It's always very busy, but there's a bit of space and quiet for confidential conversations or something similar.

Been there again after a long time. 3x pasta 3x bad. Lasagna only pasta and cheese, you had to look for the minced meat, partly dry, Spaghetti Bolognese, you had to look for the minced meat there too, which wasn't supposed to be, the Pasta Toscana was drowned in oil. Taste can be debated, but none of the dishes tasted like Bella Italia. It's a shame, but Da Vinci can't do pasta.

Went to Da Vinci for the first time last week and I really liked it. Had a schnitzel with fries that was really good. Ambiance is great. The team extremely friendly. Come by every now and then and ask what's right.

The ambience is very nice. The restaurant is usually very busy, so of course there is a certain amount of noise. The menu has something for everyone and the dishes I tried were without exception delicious. The prices are also fair. The spritzers are also particularly recommended. DaVinci is one of my favorite restaurants and I can only recommend it.

Went there today with 2 people. Wednesday schnitzel day. A variety of schnitzels for €11.90. Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes was very tasty. Absolutely sufficient portion. Super attentive and very nice service. We would love to come back when in Velbert.
