Great location, great food and very friendly service! It was our first time in the area but this restaurant caught our attention straight away. Located in an old customs house by the water and with a super chic rustic interior. Beautiful view, good food and a delicious espresso. We had a margherita and the verdura pizza and both were very good. We'll definitely come back. Grace!

We've been here many times before, but unfortunately today it wasn't good at all. The starter was very tasty, but the price was far too high for what was on the plate. They used to only have Pinsa here, but now they have switched to regular pizza. The pizza dough was an absolute disaster, super hard on the edges and not fluffy at all. It felt like one of three pizzas remained on the plate (probably even more). We pointed this out to the waiter, but they still charged full price. Price/performance ratio was really not there. 3 stars only because otherwise it was always very good. But everything has gotten worse. If it was my first time there, I would only give one star.

The service was very bad. One waiter stood out in a particularly negative way, apparently finding his sayings and actions funny, but in my opinion was disrespectful to several customers. You felt uncomfortable. The pizza was okay. A bit dry, the dip we ordered wasn't brought. There was also no question about drinks. However, the atmosphere at the harbor and in the restaurant is very nice.

When you arrive, you are immediately impressed by the restaurant. In terms of location and ambience, the location is inviting and really beautiful. However, our visit was not a pleasant and pleasant evening as we had imagined. We had to wait a little while to be assigned a table, but that wasn't a problem for us. The service person assigned to us, on the other hand, repeatedly attracted attention with different actions: "There is a ban on cell phones here" as a funny statement to guests who he "caught" using their cell phones. Further examples of this are the following: We were only allowed to order our food on the third attempt because we were only allowed to order it when the first drinks were brought to us. Orders for new drinks, even though the glasses were empty, were only accepted upon request. Furthermore, an additional order was not even brought to us during the meal. Overall, we thought the location and the presentation were great. The food was really good and tasted good. The service alone is a major point of criticism. This created a strange atmosphere. Maybe it was a bad day for the above-mentioned service person, but it made our visit quite unpleasant.

I went to this pizzeria last night with a former classmate and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. I tried an incredibly delicious lasagne - it was perfectly seasoned and had the ideal consistency and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The portion was just right – not too much and not too little. The taste was excellent and the lasagna was served nice and hot and fresh. A really great experience! The service was also excellent, the staff was friendly, humorous and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

For us, "Da Sergio" is the best restaurant in the area! The selection of dishes is what we like. From fish to dyke lamb, there's everything here. My personal favorite is the 400g steak with American fries and salad! You can have a wonderful feast here in a pleasant atmosphere. However, you should make a reservation 1 to 2 days in advance, as the restaurant is very busy, which speaks for itself! The service is quick and very attentive! Price-performance ratio is absolutely okay given the quality! We are already looking forward to the next visit.

This was our second time at da Sergio and we were very disappointed! The pizza was dry and lukewarm and therefore way too expensive. The grill plate was fine and hot. The service was underground! Even a sign on the door saying “we are understaffed but doing our best” doesn’t help. No question as to whether everything is OK, unfriendly service and no clarity as to where and how to pay. We didn't leave a tip the first time because we were so dissatisfied and we definitely won't be coming back.

I can only agree with the detailed review of “Ey Wes”. It's terrible how impatient a waiter can be. And then the lack of insight on the part of the staff, who dismiss any criticism as “spam”. There are more worthwhile restaurants in East Frisia where you are at least treated decently.

The head chef comes out of the kitchen and tells us that the chefs want to go home now (at least about 90 minutes before closing time) and they want (rather demanding from the tone of voice and body language) that we make a decision as quickly as possible, in a rough tone and indirectly offensive. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, bekamen jedoch, da wir bei der Öffnung um 17.30 Uhr die ersten Gäste waren, einen Tisch auf der Terrasse mit einem schönen Ausblick auf den Kanal. Der Chef hat manchmal eine komische Stimmung und seine Anweisungen an die Gäste sind nicht angemessen. Das Essen macht alles wieder wett: leckere Pasta fresca mit Steinpilzen und dazu einen Lugana. Empfehlenswert!

We were at Da Sergio in Norden with 4 people in the early evening during the week. The ambience, the location on the water and the parking options are great. The food was good, but for our taste the value for money was questionable. A pizza for €18 is priced at least 30% above average, but none of us found it above average. Nor the pizza filling and its size. The prices for drinks are also very reasonable, for example €6.20 for a “half”. What we also didn't think was particularly fair in the restaurant was that a newcomer as a waiter was completely thrown into the deep end and, according to his own statement, he was let loose on the guests alone on his first evening, which led to complete confusion on several occasions. We felt sorry for the young man during the visit. Unfortunately we cannot give any recommendations.

Leider,leider dauert es sehr lange mit dem Service.Wir haben haben fast eine Stunde gewartet, bis wir eine Bestellung aufgeben konnten.Ein Kellner war sehr bemüht,die Gäste gut zu versorgen und zu bedienen.Der andere war nicht sehr aufmerksam,ließ die Gäste sehr sehr lange warten.Selbst zum Bezahlen ist er nicht mehr gekommen und der angepriesene Likör blieb aus. Sehr schade.

When ordering, I accidentally said "Pizza Tonno" instead of specifically "Pizza Tonno fresco" because I didn't realize that there were two different Pizza Tonnos. I wasn't made aware of it either. The wrong pizza promptly arrived. Unfortunately, it was not exchanged after my complaint. My husband then had to pay for the pizza even though it was NOT eaten! I have never experienced such an outrageous reaction from a restaurant in my life!!

We were at Da Sergio yesterday and loved it. Super tasty food, nice waiter who was always up for a laugh. Nice atmosphere on the terrace. We will be going back there today at the end of our vacation.

Heute spontan entschlossen im da Sergio essen zu gehen. Natürlich war es kein Problem eine Tisch zu bekommen. Wir fühlen uns im da Sergio immer sehr willkommen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Über die Qualität der Speisen gibt es nichts negatives zusagen. Die Preise sind angemessen. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig bemessen und es ist auch kein Problem und überhaupt nicht unangenehm sich die nicht verzerrten Speisen einpacken zulassen. Kurz um, ein gelungener Abend.

Delicious pizza and pasta. Bruschetta wasn't that great. The staff was very nice and attentive. The wind can sometimes blow outside, but there are blankets and radiant heaters for this.

Anyone who likes exceptional food will definitely find what they are looking for here. Not a menu a la pizza chain but unique and well thought out. All 4 dishes were extremely tasty. The table service was good. Drinks could have been offered more regularly. Had to draw our attention several times for new drinks. Unfortunately, there was no response to the information that the toilets were without paper or soap, so that there was no opportunity to soap or dry your hands on the second visit to the place. It's a shame otherwise it would have been 5☆. I would still come back :)

Bereits beim Betreten zeigte uns der "Chef" vom Service die Spielregeln auf und ließ uns am Eingang stehen, bevor wir dann, da wir nur etwas trinken wollten, auf der Terasse in praller Sonne plaziert wurden. Es standen aber auch unbesetzte, nicht reservierte Tische zur Verfügung. Die Krönung war der Versuch die Getränke zu bezahlen. Nachdem mehrere Versuche über Handzeichen die Aufmerksamkeit des Service-Chefs zu erlangen, scheiterten, habe ich ihm das Geld persönlich hinterher gebracht und mich für den gelebten Servicegedanken bedankt. Wir werden dies Lokal nicht wieder betreten.

Hats off and we ordered the table for 1.5 hours later. We were warmly welcomed and the food was delicious 😋 so we went there again this evening and were not disappointed! We have also reserved a table for tomorrow, the 3rd day, and are looking forward to delicious food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere... we will definitely come back at some point and can recommend the great da Sergio to any of you at any time

We ate there for the first time today and luckily we had a reservation. Because it was very busy for a Monday. The fact that you only have the table for 2 hours is completely okay for us; it is now available in several restaurants. The food was really very good and beautifully prepared. There is not only pizza and pasta but also delicious other dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive. The price is a bit high but justified for what we ate. We would love to come back on our next vacation.

Waren nicht zum ersten mal in diesem Jahr im Alten Zollhaus. Die Wiederholung hat sich gelohnt. Waren wieder voll begeistert. Hatten ein gutes Steak mit gut abgestimmten Beilagen bzw.meine Frau Fisch mit Kartoffel und Gemüse. Wie immer passten auch hier die Weine. Die Empfehlung des Grappa war klasse. Können das Zollhaus komplett empfehlen das zuvorkommende Personal hat gute Arbeitet geleistet, man merkt, hier wird mit liebe und Herz zum Beruf gearbeitet. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen, und freuen uns schon jetzt. Wichtig bitte den Tisch vorbestellen.

Really very good food and even on a normal day you have to make a reservation. When you pay you will receive an interim invoice. This at least raises the suspicion that not everything is going completely cleanly from a tax point of view and that fraud may be being committed against all German taxpayers. Interim invoices can then be adjusted again and, for example, significantly reduced.

We made a reservation a few days before arrival and were given a time slot of 2 hours. The ambience is very nice. Unfortunately you have to wait quite a long time for drinks and food. The 2 hours also fits. Unfortunately my starter was missing an ingredient that was on the menu. When I asked why it was missing, I was told that it was “off” and an apology was given. Nevertheless, the full price was charged. The main course was ok, but it wasn't the highlight of the week.

Since their legal department has reached out and Da Sergio cannot handle honest criticism and the subsequent rating, I cannot share my poor experience about the service and food with others. I hope a star is worth a thousand words. Since we already knew da Sergio from Emden, we decided to eat at da Sergio in the north. Our order was also taken very quickly, we also got our drinks and food very quickly, except for my wife's drink, she didn't have a drink until the end because they obviously didn't want to take her drink order. I had the rib eye from the special menu, which consisted of an approx. 280 g rib eye steak, fried potatoes and a side salad. The rib eye steak itself was fried medium and was also very tasty, but the fried potatoes were not fried crispy and were also fried in a dirty pan, which you can tell by the small burnt crumbs hanging on the potatoes. I didn't even have my side salad receive. For this dish minus the side salad I still paid a whopping €31. When we were asked if it tasted good, we expressed our dissatisfaction and ordered the bill, which unfortunately we still hadn't received after 20 minutes. When we asked for the bill a second time, we still didn't receive it after 10 minutes. Then suddenly a second waiter asked us if we would like something else and whether we liked it. We also made him aware of our dissatisfaction, and we then said that this would sometimes happen to him at home with the fried potatoes, a completely inappropriate reaction In my opinion, because I wasn't at his house but in a restaurant and ordered a dish for which I was supposed to pay €35. Ultimately it remains to be said that it was our first and last time at the Sergio in the north.
