We had an omelet with chanterelle mushrooms, completely overpriced and not even good. The beer was also too warm. Once, never again!

If I couldn't give it a star, I would have. To put it positively, the only thing nice here is the view of the wonderful things in the pastry shop across the street. Dirty, overpriced, and inattentive—I'd say that sums it up briefly.

This restaurant in a prime location has reinvented the term "fad" for me. I ordered a paprika schnitzel, which was as flavorless as anything you'd find in a German city hall canteen. Nothing about it was freshly prepared: the breaded schnitzel looked like it had just come out of a press, the sauce was slimy and artificial, and the fries were undercooked. The few lettuce leaves couldn't improve matters.

What a colossal mistake not to check the reviews before sitting here. The ice cream wasn't anything special, but the "After Eights" had clearly expired. The iced tea we ordered turned out to be some kind of Appletizer. We only had to pay in cash. I went back specifically to see what this monstrosity was called so I could post this review! Avoid this place!!!

I ordered an espresso and two scoops of ice cream there. The espresso from a standard fully automatic coffee machine was more like a weak coffee, which you couldn't call an espresso. The ice cream wasn't good either; it was probably ready-made ice cream from a wholesaler. The seating area inside and outside was untidy, as were the restrooms, and the counter/service area. Everything was very dirty and messy. I wouldn't recommend it.

A great location, that's all. Apparently, they were out of vanilla ice cream and strawberries. The waffle was too dark and bitter. They didn't want to believe it, saying it couldn't be because the waffle iron automatically controls it. There were eight of us there, and almost everyone had something wrong or something to complain about. The service was also just so-so.

If I could, I wouldn't even give it a star. But unfortunately, I have to. Best location at the city gate. Unfortunately, that's about all the positives. We had to wait a very long time before anyone even noticed us. The lady of the restaurant wiped our table with a smelly old rag, which spoiled most of our appetites. After waiting what felt like an eternity for our drinks, my mother-in-law's ordered "goulash soup" arrived. Unfortunately, it had little in common with real goulash soup. This was more like a clear broth with beef. Unfortunately, it was inedible, as it seemed to consist entirely of fat. So I informed the waiter to send the soup back. He then immediately turned to his boss/mother/mistress, who came to our table with a friendly "What's up!?" When we explained the situation to her, she informed us that this was the first complaint in 40 years. She reluctantly took the soup and left us sitting there without another word. We saw her one more time after that. That was when she asked us to pay, which was tantamount to throwing us out. Even if we'd wanted to order something else, we wouldn't have been able to by then. Linz is a beautiful place with a great old town. But this place is a bad joke. Avoid at all costs.

We stopped there because of a storm. We, including our two dogs, were greeted warmly. Since it was lunchtime, we asked for a menu, which was handed to us. We opted for a simple schnitzel with fries, salad, and sauce. It was delicious: fresh green salad with cucumber, tomatoes, etc., and balsamic vinegar. The schnitzel was well-cooked in butter and freshly made. All for €14.00 💶, so it was very good value for money. The coffee was also good. The restrooms were small and dated, but clean.

I've rarely been so disappointed. The food was abysmal. How can you prepare a zander fillet and potatoes so devoid of any flavor? The typical rip-off of day-trippers who won't be back anyway.

The food was absolute rubbish. ZERO stars for taste, ZERO star for waiters. The only thing that could have gotten 5 stars was the location. Quite a shame. I don't advise anyone to eat there. We returned our food and left.

Usually not even one star :( sorry. The toilet situation was truly unbelievable and inhumane. We heard this from other guests before we went to the toilet. Something urgently needs to happen here! We're glad we didn't eat here. This restaurant should be looked into urgently. Sorry - unfortunately the truth!

Sorry, not recommended. No pizza, even though the restaurant advertises pizza. Service was friendly. When we saw the menu and the bad air in the dining room, we said goodbye. We then found a great pizza restaurant on the market square. It's a shame for everyone who gets stuck here at the beginning. One can only hope that the boss reads these comments and changes something...

Not even a single smile from the waitress even though we tried so hard to be polite and nice. we asked if we could pay by card and she said yes and at the end it turned out it can only be done for more than 20 euros so we had to rush to the bank and she even lied about us never asking. Would never ever recommend this place, rather have a drink from the Rhine water than coming back here.

I understand something different by service and friendliness. You should also avoid going to the toilet.

Lekker gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening, maar over de toiletten praten we niet.

Dieses Café Ristorante ist noch nicht einmal einen Stern wert. Der After Eight Becher war unterirdisch, ekelhaft süß und nur Schokolade. Ich habe die Minze vermisst und übel viele After Eight Schoki hilft da auch nicht. War ungenießbar. Dann dachten wir der Latte Macchiato, war kein Latte !!!!! Das war übelst heißer Milchkaffee mit etwas Schaum. Den konnte man nicht trinken. Finger davon nicht zu empfehlen!!!!!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Der Kelner war sehr hektisch, ist nicht auf Nachfragen eingegangen. Auch wirkte er gestresst und desinteressiert. Bier war abgestanden. Auch vergaß er unsere Bestellung und fragte uns nach ca. 20min ob wir etwas essen wollen obwohl wir bereits unsere Bestellung aufgegeben hatten. Das Essen an sich war gut, Preis ist ok . Alles in allem Ok, aber ein zweites mal würde ich nicht nochmal hin gehen.

Es ginge auch lecker und freundlich, aber wahrscheinlich macht man hier auch so genügend Umsatz.
