We were there in May 2025 as a sports group with two children. The food was delicious, the service was very good, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. Our children received such excellent service, all their special requests were fulfilled, and they were entertained and occupied... The waiter, OLLI, in particular, made everything possible and even organized a surprise for our 5-year-old birthday girl. If we were from Dresden, we would come regularly. But we will be back on our next visit to Dresden!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

We spontaneously dropped in with four people and a dog and received a very friendly welcome and service. The service was excellent and the food fantastic. We felt very well looked after all around.

We were here on a warm summer evening and were able to sit outside – simply wonderful. The pizza was spectacularly good, absolutely recommended! Really, really delicious, we enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

The restaurant is comfortably furnished, and the pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 10 minutes for drinks, and our pizza took an hour and 20 minutes. That's too long, and it was initially busy, but then it settled down. Other guests complained about the same problem. But when the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. (20 / 32 ALPs)

My gluten-free pizza was delicious. However, the crust is very hard, making it difficult to cut. Question for the chef: Are gluten-free pizzas baked in the same oven as regular pizzas? I have celiac disease, and unfortunately, your pizza didn't tolerate well! :/ It was probably contaminated with flour. In the future, I'll have to eat pizza elsewhere in Germany if I can't rely on your gluten-free pizzas. Unfortunately, not recommended for people with celiac disease.

Highly recommended restaurant. You can sit both inside and outside in a cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly, very attentive, and cheerful. We had beer, pizza, and pizza rolls. Everything was delicious and arrived quickly.

The best Italian restaurant in Dresden.

Looking into the restaurant from the outside, it's easy to come to the wrong conclusion. At first glance, it seems a bit kitschy. But that's forgotten as soon as the friendly and attentive staff guides you to a table. The food there is absolutely fantastic! They probably have the best Neapolitan pizza in all of Dresden – by a long way. They also serve it with pickled olives, which personally inspired me to buy some there again and again. The prices are extremely fair for Dresden and considering the quality and size of the portions! 60 Seconds to Napoli can only stand in the corner and be ashamed by comparison. I must say, however, that my review refers only to the restaurant and not to the delivery service. I simply haven't used it yet. In the end, all I can say is – I'll definitely be coming back here again and again!

By far the best Italian restaurant in Dresden! Pizzas and pasta are also available gluten-free, and the gluten-free dough tastes great. All around, a great restaurant! *Edit: The house olives are AMAZING!!! 10/10

We had another wonderful evening at Da Michele. The welcome and service were very friendly and attentive! Our meal (tuna tartare, pizza with chanterelles and leaf spinach, and risotto with chanterelles) and the white wine (Terra Siciliana) were perfect! The value for money is excellent! To finish off, we had grappa and limoncello on the house – thank you for this lovely evening 🙏

I rarely complain, but this meal really wasn't great... I ordered a carbonare, but what I got didn't taste like it at all! The pasta was WAY too soft and generally tasted like milk... the bacon was burnt, and the food was unseasoned. Additionally, the portion was really meager for the price... My friend also had pasta, but with chicken, and it tasted beyond weird... really cheeky for €30! The restaurant didn't look bad, it was really warm, but oh well... We also waited a really long time for our food. We were told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes... but after 30 minutes, it started to arrive. I don't recommend it!!!

By far our favorite Italian restaurant in all of Dresden! The service has always been very friendly, attentive, and courteous! The location itself is super cozy and perfect for a date, especially in summer when you can sit outside. The dishes are high-quality and beautifully presented. Vegan options are even labeled now, and they also have the best olives in town. Everything is very lovingly prepared! Highly recommended! ☺️

We sat outside at small tables. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive. We'd happily return, although we're rarely in DD.

It was my first time there and I generally liked it, but I found it a little odd that we had to wait for the menus because, according to the waiter, they were all in circulation. You shouldn't have as many menus as seats, especially since there were so many people eating and not everyone had one. My portion of pasta was more than enough, but my friend wasn't so lucky. She ordered ravioli as a main course and only got five pieces, definitely too few. The service was okay. I could definitely do it again...the prices were okay too. Edit: Now my favorite restaurant. Edit Part II: No longer my favorite restaurant. The cheese with the pasta now costs a whopping €2.80 for a mini bowl. A rip-off, as it's just powdered Parmesan. It probably isn't very high quality. Arrabbiata doesn't really taste good anymore either; it's probably a different chef. The pasta wasn't cooked properly.

A delightful Italian gem in the heart of Dresden! Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Da Michele Dresden Ristorante and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience. From the moment I stepped in, I felt transported to authentic Italy, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the warm, friendly service from the staff. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of the evening. I ordered the spaghetti with seafood (frutti di mare) and I can honestly say it was the best I've had in a long time. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the portion was generous, and the freshness and quality of the seafood was evident in every bite. A true feast of Italian flavors! And to top off this culinary experience, I couldn't miss out on dessert. The pistachio panna cotta was the perfect finishing touch: creamy, delicious, and with an intense flavor that left me wanting more. We arrived at short notice with over 20 people. We all got a seat, great service, and very, very good food. The best restaurant in Dresden. I would come back again.

We've ordered from Da Michele several times and have always been very satisfied with the portion size and quality of the food. Yesterday, we received our food after an hour, which is okay. Pasta Arrabiata: Mini portion... was maybe 6-7 tablespoons. Ordered pizza rolls with ham and cheese, but only received them with cheese. You could see through the rolls. Pizza Supreme: Top-notch dough as always, but there were 5 1x1cm diced chicken pieces on top. In conclusion, we're really wondering if this is the last time we order there.

A very good Italian restaurant in the Neustadt of Dresden. We had a starter for two, a main course each and dessert for two. The food is definitely good, but what we particularly liked and is worth the 5th star is the fact that homemade pasta is offered here and, above all, made from whole grains! That's great.

I was lucky to get a table. There were two of us. As a snack beforehand there were the home-pickled olives. They were a dream. And so it continued with the food and service. I've never had such good pizza anywhere. Plus spades from the tap, the evening was perfect. Due to the many guests, the staff had a lot to do but was always committed and always came to ask for requests. Whenever I'm in Dresden, I enjoy a pizza here in the beautiful atmosphere. In fact, when booking my trips to Dresden, I always take the restaurant's closing days into account 😁

It was a really great experience. The welcome was very friendly. There was a bowl of the absolutely delicious olives to try... We then ordered a large bowl of them. The olives are also available to buy for home... The service was friendly and attentive but not too intrusive. Great selection of drinks, great food selection and what we ate was super tasty. My next table for May is already reserved... and it won't be the last time I'll be there. Highly recommended. 👌🏼👍🏼🤩🥰

I'm just really excited! At the beginning there were free olives and the food was simply outstanding. If I were from Dresden, I would definitely be here more often.

Terrible experience, arrogant waiter after having an accident with my office backpack being damaged by burning candle at the entrance. No apology at all, only arrogant comments how everything was my fault. I asked about the liability insurance, the waiter laughed at me and repeatedly said that all was my fault. Unprofessional behavior, ignorance and lack of respect. Really disappointing experience after a long working day.

Really highly recommended. The service was very nice, cheerful and accommodating. (Drink was replaced free of charge when it wasn't tasty) The food impresses with very faithful Italian cuisine. Free olives to start. Pizza also very tasty. Carbonara for me better than in Italy! Short wait for food. Overall, a very well-rounded experience.

All dishes, whether pizza, pasta, appetizers, etc. are incredibly delicious! Big compliments to the kitchen! The atmosphere is cozy and in summer you can sit outside. The service is always friendly. On weekends you should definitely make a reservation for the evening, as the restaurant is always full and there are often a few people queuing and waiting for a seat.

The olives were delicious, the edges and toppings of the pizza were very tasty, but the middle of the pizza was unfortunately completely soggy and therefore a bit too mushy for me and could have used a bit more bite. :) The waiter was arrogant - arrogant, but the food came very quickly (we were there shortly after opening, there was little going on) The garlic oil with pizza is just as positive! :)

Here I got the worst pizza I've had in a long time: the edge was okay, the middle was soggy, not tasty tomato sauce with an ice-cold dollop of mozzarella in the middle, three cherry tomatoes and three leaves of basil. Called itself Tricolore. The cannelloni should be very tasty. Store very full, pre-order required (or better yet somewhere else)

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. At the entrance there was a sign asking us to wait. Even though I was seen, it took all of 10 minutes for someone to come to ask about my request. It was only after 15 minutes that I was able to say that we had reserved a table. The waitress who looked after us was very friendly, attentive and quick. Unfortunately, the service in other areas left something to be desired. Our starter, which we had ordered together, arrived at the table after an hour - and unfortunately cold. After this was cleared away, we had to wait another 30 minutes for our main courses, which were only served after repeated requests. A male waiter tried to justify the long wait by explaining that this was normal in this restaurant when ordering an appetizer. Unfortunately, due to the extremely long waiting times, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Overall the food was average for an Italian restaurant.

Simply great in all categories! In terms of taste, you won't find anything better in Italy, it's fantastically prepared because the eye also eats, the service is exemplary and fast and the price-performance ratio is almost unrivaled given the quality. I can only recommend everyone to take a look. Even if it's just for a drink... everything is just great!

The atmosphere was very nice, the pizza was tasty but not outstanding. It could have been a little quicker. But definitely worth a visit!

Many guests bring the noise level to a high level. A quiet ambience looks really different. My Vitello Tonatto was topped with lots of anchovies, biscuits and rocket leaves but with very little sauce. Unfortunately not balanced. Just an ordinary restaurant.

Es ist kein feiner Italiener sondern eher rustikaler Dorfitaliener. Davon zeigt schon die Dominanz des Eisbergsalates beim gemischten Salat. Geschmacklich ist alles unter dieser rustikalen Brille ok. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Die Weine sind - anscheinend typisch für italienische Restaurants in Dresden - überteuert für das was im Glas ist…. Ein einfacher!!! Chianti for über 6€ ist teuer! Auch ist es hier absolut nicht üblich - was man in Italien typischerweise findet - dass es einen Grappa zum Abschluss gibt. Ok und nicht mehr. Mann wird satt!

Iconic Italian location in the heart of Dresden Neustadt. Reserve digitally without any problem and everything works. The menu is well diversified with many soups, antipasti, pasta, pizza and much more. Very tastefully prepared food and attentive service. Really recommended for the start of the night, the closing bell strikes at 11 p.m. and then a visit to a bar is recommended...

Were here for the first time last weekend, as the saying goes, once and never again. The food was delicious but it didn't justify the almost 3 hour wait. We had made reservations for 6:00 p.m. and our drinks and appetizers orders were finally taken at around 6:45 p.m. The drinks and appetizers arrived around 7:00 p.m. Then we also ordered our main courses, but they took a long time to arrive, so we then countered At 8:15 p.m. I asked what it looked like and the answer was "Yes, sorry, it's a lot going on today, the kitchen..." Then around 8:30 p.m. we asked again and “Yes, I’ll take a look.” Things got going when 3 of us complained around 8:35 p.m.… End of the song we had to eat our food quickly because we had reserved somewhere else for billiards. Tip: If you have something planned with your friends after dinner, DO NOT GO HERE. But if you have a lot of time then this restaurant is just right for you!

Stranded there for a short time but still received a warm welcome. What really caught my eye was the menu. Someone put a lot of energy and heart and soul into it. Each dish is advertised individually...And I thought that was really great. As great as it was on the menu beforehand...at least it tasted as great. The food is super delicious, the best pizza I've had in Dresden so far! Unfortunately, the service is not that convincing. We were allowed to ask for the bill twice (and wait for a very long time) and in between we were not asked for drinks again. It's a shame, but it was so delicious, I'd love to come back!

Best Italian I've experienced so far. Although I can only comment on the pizzas, as someone who has already been to Italy, the quality in this ristorante is on a comparable level. Before the order is served there are stuffed olives, which even I, an olive skeptic, enjoyed. There is also the option to choose from additional herbs, chili oil and garlic oil as free extras. In addition, there is a very pleasant atmosphere, the waiters are always in a good mood and very charismatic. Thank you for your great work and the fabulous food!

We came without a reservation and got a nice, nice place. As a greeting from the kitchen, the marinated olives are the best way to start. They are very tasty. The food is very nicely prepared and tastes very good. I just had to add a little salt, but that's personal taste. The service was also friendly, quick, and didn't seem stressed despite the well-filled restaurant. A little tip: if you order wine (bottle or 0.5 liters), perhaps serve a glass of water with it. We'd love to come back.

A weekend visit to a busy restaurant, which therefore had very limited space. The tables are way too close together. No umbrella stand anywhere (it was raining). You don't know what to do with the umbrellas. A shoulder bag can only be stuffed under the chair or table. The staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. All the dishes were boring and mediocre. Just OK. it applies too. Every amateur cook can do spaghetti Bolognese, carbonare, pizza and mussels in white wine sauce much better. A third of the mussels were still closed. Why should you say it's just ok. spend around €100? Definitely not a recommendation.

Great Italian restaurant, if you don't want the standard dishes you've come to the right place. Service is also good, only at the front on the street was the seating a little tight (3 people are almost one too many per table) but that's bearable as the rest is really recommended.

We came here spontaneously on a Wednesday evening and got a table straight away. The service was super nice and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. With the drinks we were given a bowl of olives, which were very tasty. We also noticed that you can buy them there too. Our 2 pasta dishes were to die for! To finish we ordered a tiramisu. A large piece was brought with 2 spoons and it seemed to us as if they had brought a larger piece so that both of us could eat it - at least it would be far too much for just one person. We had a lovely evening and will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Wir waren spontan an einem Mittwochabend hier gewesen und haben sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war mrga nett und wir mussten weder auf Getränke, noch auf das Essen lange warten. Zu den Getränken bekamen wir ein Schälchen mit Oliven, welche sehr lecker waren. Wir haben auch mitbekommen, dass man diese dort auch kaufen kann. Unsere 2 Pastagerichte waren ein Traum! Zum Abschluss bestellten wir ein Tiramisu. Es wurde ein großes Stückchen mit 2 Löffeln gebracht und es wirkte auf uns, als hätten man extra ein größeres gebracht, damit beide davon essen können - zumindest wäre es nur für eine Person viel zu viel. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen definitiv wieder vorbei wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Very friendly waiters and service. We didn't reserve anything but spontaneously got a table for two. We would have liked to have had a table outside, but that didn't happen at the beginning. When we got our food (which happened very quickly, by the way) a table became available and the waiter allowed us to "move" outside, so he was totally thoughtful and friendly. We'd love to come back. The food was excellent and plentiful. When we paid, we were clearly surprised that it was a very inexpensive pleasure (4 drinks and two normal portions for 45€) Thank you very much and see you next time :)
