Yesterday we ate at this amazing Italian restaurant and it was simply amazing! The atmosphere was super cozy and the service was so friendly that we immediately felt at home. The highlight of the evening? The baby care! Our little man was well looked after by mom in the house, so we were able to eat in peace for a while. I mean, that's the only kind of "babysitter" we want - an Italian mom to take care of our baby while we feast on delicious meals! 😄 And the Italian cuisine? Simply excellent! We enjoyed delicious pasta and fresh mussels that were to die for. And the dessert? A dream! That rounded the whole thing off perfectly. We can only recommend this restaurant! It is the ideal place to enjoy good food. Thank you for an unforgettable evening – we will definitely be back!

The restaurant was actually just an “alternative” to the one originally planned, but the change of plan was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly and obviously enjoyed their work. Yes, the portions are not huge, but completely sufficient. Plus, everything we had was extremely tasty! We would love to come back.

A very cozy looking place, we had a “not tisch” for 2 people. Nicely helped and food was really good. But I never really understand the discussion about paying. You wanted to pay with a euro card, but that wasn't possible.... Germany is also Europe. She wanted cash (unfortunately no cash, you can normally pay throughout Europe with a European card). Credit card didn't work either, I preferred cash.... It's a shame that you are making it so difficult for yourself when it comes to paying. Then we had a nice and delicious meal... and then you have that discussion, and your opinion about your evening immediately changes.

A very atmospheric place with pleasant music, delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place. There is a warm and inviting atmosphere here that invites you to linger. I am sure that you will be as excited as I was and will have fond memories of this experience.

Wir sind jedes Jahr einmal in Olsberg, waren zum ersten Mal hier und waren begeistert. Eine herzliche Atmosphäre in einem schönen Ambiente. Dazu ein leckeres Essen. Eine geschickte Anordnung der Tische sorgte dafür, dass wir trotz starker Frequenz des Restaurants einen ruhigen Abend verbringen konnten. Wir kommen gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder.

My favorite Italian in the region. The most delicious food in a stylish ambience and a very friendly and likeable team. Everything just fits!

Unfortunately disappointing I've eaten here twice now and both times I was pretty disappointed. On our last visit we were there with a larger group and unfortunately the service was anything but good. The service seemed totally stressed and sometimes reacted quite rudely. Part of the order was incorrect and instead of simply clarifying the problem, we were told that we had ordered incorrectly - I found that really unprofessional. Even the food couldn't make up for it. It was okay, but definitely not as good as you would expect for the price. It's a shame, but I probably won't go here again.

This was the best carbonara I have ever eaten. The service was super nice. All in all a perfect evening. Very big recommendation.

We were there last night to celebrate my son's 18th birthday in this great restaurant. As always, excellent, delicious food and super friendly service. But then, the surprise, Filippo and his wife came to our table and wished my son a happy birthday with kind words and he even received a generous voucher for his next visit. The friendliness and hospitality is amazing. Keep it up!!

We found the restaurant via Google Maps and rated it 4.6. The restaurant was about half full on the ground floor, which made the noise level pleasant. Slight delay in getting in, slight delay in ordering, but accepting everything. The main course came with a delay. There is little to complain about in terms of taste. The only thing I found was that the base of the pizza was too soft and not cooked properly. When it came to dessert, we asked for it to be brought along with the coffee we ordered at the same time. Unfortunately, dessert was brought here and the coffee was only delivered after we asked, 12 minutes later. I felt like I was in economy class on a plane. The bill was ordered from a waitress, who immediately informed the boss about it. The boss seems to be the only one collecting bills. He was sitting three tables away with a couple talking, drinking wine and what looked like schnapps. Then he busied himself with his cell phone. Even after the waitress checked our bill again, he showed no reason to come to us and collect. Only after we got up and had our jackets on to go to the exit did he stand next to us. That was about 15 minutes later. As part of the discussions that followed (very rude on his part), I paid and forgot to leave a tip. But with this behavior the tip would probably have been zero anyway.

The food is really delicious. The family is very hospitable. The wine is also really great! Great!

It's rare to experience something like this: when you eat here, you feel like a stranger, like you're part of the family. We often eat at Italian restaurants, but this is something very special, and not just because of the food. And everything tastes fantastic, made from the best fresh ingredients, cooked with love, you can taste it.

This year, like every year, we went to this restaurant for dinner and as always we received a very friendly welcome. With 10 people we ate starters, various main courses and desserts. Of all the different dishes, one tasted better than the other. A special highlight was that we wanted to eat mousse au chocolat on Monday, which unfortunately was taken off the menu. However, the very nice boss offered to prepare some for us on Thursday because we had reserved a table again that day. As announced, we got the mousse au chocolat on Thursday, it tasted the best we had eaten so far. We will continue to visit Fillipo every year (on our holiday) and are very grateful, especially worth mentioning for his child-friendly nature and his hospitality, which is how you recognize it His big heart is that he bought us a round dessert because we were visiting a children's home. It's nice that there are still family-run restaurants that deserve to continue to welcome many guests.

The service was very purposeful. The food was disappointing. The pizzas were very sparingly topped and the dough didn't resemble pizza dough - more like tarte flambée dough.

We had dinner with a group of 8 people and 3 children under 3. Everyone was satisfied! Top service and the food was really delicious. I had risotto myself, I am vegetarian, and I loved it. Recommended to eat something a bit more luxurious. Prices were equal to Dutch prices. They had high chairs for the kids and they were also kindly received.

The beautiful garden of this Italian restaurant is located directly on a busy street Restaurants. It was well attended on a Monday. For us it is always a sign that it is well known locally. And so we ate very well. A starter, a pizza, both very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Wir sind heute nach einem Familienausflug in Willingen bei DaFilippo eingekehrt. Obwohl wir schon wirklich spät dran waren und eigentlich die Mittagspause schon fast begonnen hat, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und es kam nie das Gefühl von Hektik auf. Das Essen wurde uns super empfohlen ( nach Menge und Geschmack) und es gab sogar eine kleine Präsentation der Produkte (Trüffel/Safran) vorab am Tisch. Das Essen war super lecker und qualitativ absolut hochwertig. Besonders die Nachspeise Limoncellocheesecake war überragend. Hervorzuheben ist noch die super Kinderfreundliche Bedienung. Also von uns ein dickes Lob Weiter so 👍

This restaurant is not only comfortably and stylishly furnished, but it also offers very good food that is served in such a way that you can eat with your eyes. The staff (family business!) is particularly friendly. You feel genuinely welcome. We were there last night and will definitely be back.

We found a hair in my daughter's pizza. The waitress said that was impossible because only men worked in the kitchen. Food ok, but waitress very unfriendly

Leckeres Abendessen in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre und mit freundlichem, unaufdringlichem Personal. Meri kümmert sich um alles. Sonderwünsche wurden perfekt umgesetzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dies ist mit Abstand in dieser Region das beste italienische Restaurant! Jedes Detail, vom Olivenöl über das Brot, vom Vitello Tonato, das Rinderfilet, die Pasta und zum Schluss vom Espresso, das Dessert und die Qualität des Espresso: einfach herausragend. Wer in dieser überaus angemessenen Preisklasse in NRW echt italienisch essen möchte - dies ist der Ort. 👍

We tried to eat something in this restaurant. The welcome was anything but warm. The service staff was visibly overwhelmed (the restaurant was at most 50% busy). We were ignored for over half an hour. Couldn't place a drink order, let alone a food order, and then left the restaurant after more than 30 minutes. The tone among the employees was rough, annoyed and chaotic. We, as guests, felt anything but comfortable there. This was also because one person in our group had to sit in the aisle, the table was too small for three people and the free tables were not used to space the guests apart. We came to this restaurant because of the good reviews - we can't understand the very good to good reviews at all. After these incidents, we left the restaurant without ordering. I hope that the owner takes this criticism to heart and doesn't chase his employees back and forth like he did during our visit. It happened on March 24th, 2024 between 5:25 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Very tasty food, paired with warm Italian service. The whole family works here. As far as the food is concerned, in addition to the Italian classics, you can also get many special Italian dishes that are otherwise rare. Wir sind eher zufällig in diesem Restaurant gelandet und es stellte sich als Glücksgriff heraus! Alle Speisen waren lecker und ihr Geld absolut wert, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Schöne sizilianische Gerichte auf der Karte, die man längst nicht überall findet - schade, dass man nur einen Magen hat :-) aber ein Grund, wiederzukommen!

In a foreign city you have to rely on the experiences of other guests and so you inevitably end up at Da Filippo in Olsberg. And the good reviews are more than justified. Anyone who finds fault with anything here should, as punishment, eat some leftovers alone at home. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, with epic Italian music playing in the background. In general, everything here still works in the tried and tested old style. It is very clean and well maintained. You are warmly welcomed and served; it is obviously a family business. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, the prices are in the middle segment, and the result is worth every cent. We each chose a pizza, and they are BIG and very tasty. After that, I couldn't even fit in a small espresso.

Had a delicious meal with 2 families at Da Filippo. We felt more than welcome with our children. There was a good atmosphere and the food was delicious. Mr Cannizzaro is really a good host. Grazie mille e alla prossima volta!

Wir(sechs Personen) haben Silvester leider schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht: völlig überforderte Chefin, unfreundliches Personal (Augen verdreht), Essen mehr Quantität als Qualität, bei der Reservierung (ca. 2 Monate im voraus) hat man uns nicht über das Silvestermenü informiert, sondern über eine eingeschränkte Karte, was an dem Abend dementiert wurde und somit uns praktisch eine Lüge unterstellt wurde. Preis-Leistung hat an diesem Abend nicht gestimmt.

Authentische italienische Küche gepaart mit echter italienischer Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberfamilie Cannizzaro. Der Weg von Winterberg nach Olsberg lohnt sich allemal, wenn man im Sauerland köstlich italienisch essen möchte. Wunderbarer Gastgeber und hervorragender Koch - Filippo präsentiert sich als aufmerksamer Gastwirt, der möchte, dass sich jeder einzelne wohlfühlt. Die Lichtstimmung und die Einrichtung sind gleichzeitig behaglich und modern. Hatten wir ehrlich gesagt gar nicht erwartet in Olsberg. Das Essen (wir waren Silvester dort) war besonders gut und die Auswahl des 4-Gänge-Menus sensationell. Filippo hat besondere Rücksicht auf die Kinder genommen und extra nach ihrem Geschmack gefragt und diesen berücksichtigt bei der Zubereitung. Sensationell! Und danke!!

Super freundliches und sehr kinderfreundliches Personal. Wir waren mit vier kleinen Kindern da, welche extra zuerst und schnell bedient wurden. Die Pizzen und das Schokoladen Soufflee haben uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt!

Gereserveerd, ontvangst was onvriendelijk. De eigenaar/kok? moest komen om te verifiëren dat we inderdaad hadden gereserveerd. Na een half uur wachten nog geen menukaart of drankje ontvangen. Serveerster die een tafel verder wat kwam brengen werd door de mensen aan een tafel naast ons geroepen ( ook zij wachten op de kaart en drank). Pas na 3x luid roepen kwam ze eraan om hun drankje op te nemen. Serveerster draaide zich NIET om, om ons te vragen en liep weg. Na nog 10 minuten te hebben gewacht zijn we opgestaan (mensen aan de tafel naast ons hadden nog steeds geen drinken) Jammer want we hadden hoge verwachtingen nav de reviews

Noch nie habe ich/ wir so gut italienisch gegessen. Gleiches gilt für die Freundlichkeit. Zu keiner Sekunde haben wir die Anreise ( gut 50km ) bereut und kommen sicher nochmals nach Olsberg um hier verwöhnt zu werden. Zwei begeisterte Personen aus dem Kreis Soest.

Sehr sympathisches Wirtsehepaar aus der Toskana. Wir waren nach langer Zeit mal wieder dort und von der Pizza total begeistert. Es gibt in Deutschland doch noch Pizza wie in Italien... Wir werden bald auch die anderen Gerichte testen.

Heel vriendelijk dame, lekker eten . Vooral de bruin bier is zooo lekker . Ik was hele tijd aan het zoeken met zelfde smaak . Maar helaas toch anders . Kan je me vertellen welk merk het is ? Staat op bon veltins bier maar smaak heel anders als normaal veltins bier in de supermarkt 😅

Dieses italienische Restaurant bekommt von mir eine glatte Eins mit Sternchen!!!! Angefangen bei dem total freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service, über das Essen (alles schmeckte super frisch und war qualitativ auf einem sehr hohen Niveau zubereitet) bis zu der sehr angenehmen Wohlfühlathmosphäre war alles rundum richtig klasse. Ich hätte gerne mehr probiert....

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren im Oktober 2023 mit drei Schwestern vor Ort und wurden herzlich empfangen, bestens bedient und alle Speisen waren optisch toll angerichtet und haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren hier mit 8 Frauen. Wir haben unterschiedliche Speisen bestellt. Alles war durchweg sehr lecker, wurde gleichzeitig serviert, kam heiß auf den Tisch und war sehr lecker. Mary, die Chefin war sehr freundlich mit flotten Sprüchen auf den Lippen. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.
