Never had such a perfect pizza like in Italy, wonderful atmosphere, very familiar as it should be, The pasta is incredibly delicious Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Frankfurt and Rhine Main!!! Highly recommended, you definitely have to eat there when you are in Frankfurt!!

Unfortunately a disappointment I really can't understand the 4.5 stars this restaurant received. I visited based on the good reviews, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The ordering process at the counter was anything but pleasant - I actually expect table service in a pizzeria. The fact that only cash is accepted these days is also very inconvenient. After you order, you look for a seat and the dishes are announced via microphone. This leads to chaos if several guests have ordered the same thing, as everyone then runs to the counter at the same time. The seats themselves were uncomfortable and carelessly designed. It was also dirty and greasy – I had to clean my place myself before I could even eat. The pizza was okay, but definitely nothing special. Overall the experience was disappointing and I will not visit this place again. If you want to spend a cozy evening, you should definitely look elsewhere.

Very good restaurant, the pasta is outstanding and the pizza is also very good. I have known the store for many years and have never been disappointed.

Unfortunately the pizza is no longer good. Rating only concerns the pizza. Tastes like a lot of cheap tomato sauce. The edge is hard as stone. All very loveless. At that time it was the best pizza in Frankfurt, since the son took over it, only frozen pizza quality. Too bad. Salad is still okay, but egg is halved. Hidden price increase.

After all these years, this place still refuse to accept card payment. When the world is changing, they still prefer CASH only. The food, the people and the drinks are great options for lunch. The crowd are usually locals. Approach the younger one to speak English (speak good English too). The food is awesome…totally no doubt about it!

Unfortunately very disappointed. We ordered pasta with carbonara with zucchini, it was just pasta with only cream sauce and zuchini. It's not a carbonara. According to my knowledge and experience in Italy, carbonara looks a bit yellowish and is prepared with egg and parmesan cheese...

The pizzeria only accepts payment by card, I asked twice just to confirm. Good thing I asked before eating, so as not to be embarrassed when paying. I will not go back to this place, it's ridiculous for a restaurant not to accept card payment.

After ordering online with a hefty surcharge, I went straight to pick it up. The service said that the pizzas would be ready soon. After 20 minutes of waiting and various customers who ordered after me but were served before me, I showed clear dissatisfaction with my treatment. The service then finally handed me the already cold, long-finished pizza - no apology, nothing. This is how you scare away customers!

Best pizza Frankfurt, no discussion. Unfortunately, after 23 years of only eating pizza there, I noticed yesterday that the pizzas have become very small. I ordered four pizzas to take away yesterday and I was shocked at how small the pizzas were. Smaller than my plates. The prices have remained the same but you get half the pizza. Just as an information for the boss, at some point there will be an end to stinginess. Customers are not stupid. Even after 23 years as a loyal customer, I will look for another pizzeria if the owner of the pizza doesn't change. Unfortunately. Otherwise the pizza still tastes very good.

We waited (as you can hear and be amazed) for two hours for two pizzas. When I ordered I was scolded as to why I didn't order pasta but pizza because it would take a long time. Cimino works with Lieferando and others. These are given priority treatment and sometimes pick up up to 20 pizzas. Of course, the service and, above all, quality suffers as a result. Some of the pizzas were burnt on the edges and carelessly topped. It used to be our favorite pizzeria in Frankfurt. A pity!

Best Pizza in town. The stone oven gets your pizza ready in just a few minutes. Taste is yummy and you get a great value for money. Mostly take away but they do have a few seats and more in summer outside. There is always a line with speaks for itself. Recommended!

Simply the best pizzeria in Ffm!

My favorite pizzeria since 1969 🍕. The quality has gotten even better over the years. I prefer to order the pizza Milan or the pizza with salmon. Always lavishly topped.

I hate to write it, but this is seriously the most disgusting pizza I've eaten in a very long time (I couldn't eat more than a quarter of it anyway). A single mud, a floor that was almost impossible to make out, everything was covered with terrible cheap cheese and tomato paste. The pizza couldn't be cut, only shredded. Terrible. And something like that is called Pizza Margherita and is sold at an overpriced price of €7.50. It's hard to find such filth in Frankfurt. An Italian would definitely not eat something like that voluntarily, but Germans obviously would, because the store is doing well. Inedible.

I can't understand this positive review, apart from the waiting time I had to discover a hair on my pizza slice. In addition, the pizza was watery and the base was soggy. Furthermore, the staff spoke badly about the guests in Italian. Guests (especially paying guests) should be treated with respect.

Da Cimino is a popular place for many surrounding companies to spend their lunch break. The food is fantastic, the best backyard atmosphere and everything is very relaxed and easy. Ideal in summer... never been there in winter! They are fast and friendly!

The pizza is delicious, even if you can't see it in the photo. The restaurant is very small, cramped and a bit overwhelming. It's hard to get a spot because of the heavy traffic. But the attraction here is the Italian food, which is really good.

The pizza institution in Bockenheim par excellence. With all the new Neapolitan pizzerias in the city, Da Cimino shows that it's not just southern Italians who can make outstanding pizzas. Of course the pasta is also very good, but you don't experience a classic ristorante here, but rather a fast-paced pizzeria where you get good food in fast food timing. I ordered and ate something from Cimino for the first time with friends. I had tagliatelle with mushroom cream sauce and an Italian salad. The pasta was the best I have eaten in many years. The salad was great, everything was fresh, just way too much vinaigrette. I will order again immediately next time I am in Frankfurt. That was awesome!!

Eat: The pizza is the best in town, you won't find better anywhere. I wouldn't recommend the pasta, but the Cimino salad is very good. My favorite pizzas are the 1, 15, 30 and Pizza Sucuk. It's a wood-fired pizza that tastes great and has been doing so for 40 years. Price: Great price and rather at the lowest end. Pizza Margarita costs €5. Pizza with mozzarella basil €7 so everything is within reasonable limits compared to the rest. Ambiance: It's just an old shop that has never been renovated. It looks bad, but the food is worth it. You shouldn't have any expectations for what you pay. Conclusion: You can search for a long time but you won't find a better wood-fired pizza in Frankfurt.

Ordered 2 pizzas and a lasagne. Delivery took 30 minutes (very good). However, the pizzas were cold and the lasagna sheets were unfortunately completely raw and therefore totally inedible

I had often heard how great the pizza was there... Unfortunately, complete disappointment! The app said it would take 15-20 minutes for pickup, but it ended up being a whole hour! Absolutely chaotic there. The pizza was soggy and undercooked. The Caprese salad consisted of 6 slices of tomatoes and a mozzarella that is better available in discount stores. I don't have to go there again.

The best pizza I've eaten so far. It's not a restaurant, it's more of a fast food joint with little seating, so having a drink after your meal isn't an option, as this place is always overcrowded and in high demand. Nevertheless, the pizza is worth it because only fresh ingredients are used and in the end you eat a pizza that is so juicy

I have known Da Cimino for 20 years and now that I no longer live in Frankfurt I only come here once or twice a year. Still the best “stand-up Italian” I know - and not just in Frankfurt. Here's to the next 20 years... Update May 3, 2022 Even after 24 years nothing has changed - only that both I and the men at the wood stove have more gray hair ;)

Food (pizza/lasagna) very tasty. Neatly topped, dough great 👌. The ambience is simple but cozy. Self-service applies throughout the restaurant.

This is an Italian restaurant where you can easily get everything done in a short amount of time. It gets a little crowded at lunchtime, but the turnover rate is good so you won't have to wait long. The clerk was also kind.

Update Today again, like almost every day, Da Cimino's supplier is ruthlessly blocking the bike path. As always, the vehicle is parked directly on the driveway to the bike path over a flat curb. The use of the cycle path is therefore no longer possible, and the use of the road by cyclists is very unpleasant for everyone because, due to the bottleneck there, cars can no longer overtake bicycles. I will not visit this restaurant again. — Original post: — The operator regularly has his supplier block the bicycle path in front of the restaurant. With all understanding for the cramped situation on site, things could be different. Inconsiderate behavior that will prevent me from being a customer here again.

Pizza itself was quite edible, but nothing extraordinary. Now to the service: You have to pick up what you ordered at the counter yourself. The highlight was when the employee called out the wrong pizza (which was consequently picked up) and then made a fool of a young lady in front of the entire team. Abnormal! The tables would benefit from a thorough cleaning, perhaps one of the 6 gentlemen behind the counter could take pity on wiping them.

One of the tastiest pizzas in Frankfurt. A very large selection of toppings. It speaks for itself that it is always very well attended. We've been lucky so far and always found a seat. There is also delicious pasta.

Super leckere Pizza. Knuspriger Boden und mit dem Belag wird nicht gespart. Eine Wartezeit von sehr kurzer Dauer. Das einzige, dass man beachten sollte, ist, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist.

Diese Pizzeria ist aus unsere Sicht die beste Pizzeria was wir bis jetzt besucht haben.Selbst Nudelgerichte sind absolut perfekt.Alles ist frisch und schmackhaft.Wer dort nicht zufrieden ist,der wird es schwer haben was zu finden.Wir können dieses Lokal zur 100% mit reinem gewissen empfehlen.Preisleistung absolut Top!

Hatten eine größere Lieferung mit mehreren Pizzas, Lieferung erfolgte 30 Minuten nach der angekündigten Uhrzeit, alle Pizzas nicht mehr lauwarm und schmecken dadurch nur sehr bedingt.

Das Essen war okay, aber wo sind die ganzen freundlichen Italiener hin? Unfreundliche Bedienung, die mich auch noch barsch auf sofort zu erfolgende Bezahlung hinwies. Grundsätzlich okay, aber kannte ich bisher nicht. Ist das Lokal etwa gar nicht mehr "in Hand" von Italienern?

Ja, was gibt es zu sagen? Die wahrscheinlich beste Pizza in Frankfurt.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta. Beim Service und Ambiente muss ich Abstriche machen da es keine Bedienung gibt. Man muss sein Essen am Tresen bestellen, gleich bezahlen und abholen. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Das können keine 5 Sterne sein. Aber das Essen wie geschrieben sehr gut, absolut empfehlenswert. Und auch der Preis ist günstig. Top.

Great pizza and delicious pasta!

Die Pizza war richtig lecker, leider 1 min. zu lange im Holzofen... Dafür war der Kaffee danach umso besser und das Tiramisu war ein Traum, mit dem ersten biss hat es mich direkt nach Italien "gebeamt"! Belissima... Leider war ich so geflasht das ich kein Bild vom Tiramisu gemacht habe !!
