The pizza was delicious, but when I order a caprese and the menu says basil, I find a leaf and a half in the middle really pathetic! And I paid a hefty price for that. Second chance yesterday, this time one more sheet :-(

Pork chop pasta came with 3 pieces of pork but pork was on the tough side. Cream spinach was decent. Tiramisu was more like cream cake than tiramisu. Only cash is accepted.

Probably one of the best pizzas and the shop is always full because it's just good. Why only 3 stars? Because cash only should be history by 2025 and is simply German. A tax saving model? So let's get there today and offer card payment to the customer. Grace!

I can't agree with the very good reviews at all. Dressing for the salad tasted good straight out of the bag, the dish was covered with a thick, tasteless sauce and also gratinated. The main ingredient could no longer be tasted. People who are used to eating fast food will be in good hands there.

The Pizzeria da Cimino serves extremely good pizza. Probably the best in this corner of Frankfurt. Most people talk about Pizza Brudi etc. but here it really tastes different. An absolute recommendation. In summer there is a backyard where you can eat in a relaxed manner.

Apparently the Italian guys who managed the store sold it to some other people. It’s not that before it was the best pizza in ffm, but it was ok for the price (if you were student it was great). Now it is just expensive, small, and disgusting. Thanks for the good old times though!

Update The supplier continued to park inconsiderately, again today Update Today again, like almost every day, Da Cimino's supplier is ruthlessly blocking the bike path. As always, the vehicle is parked directly on the driveway to the bike path over a flat curb. The use of the cycle path is therefore no longer possible, and the use of the road by cyclists is very unpleasant for everyone because, due to the bottleneck there, cars can no longer overtake bicycles. I will not visit this restaurant again. — Original post: — The operator regularly has his supplier block the bicycle path in front of the restaurant. With all understanding for the cramped situation on site, things could be different. Inconsiderate behavior that will prevent me from being a customer here again.

For me, the Pizzeria Da Cimino was one of the better shops in Frankfurt. But that is no longer the case now. I've been disappointed too often lately: bad dough, the ingredients are stingy and the pizza is anything but perfectly baked. The piece also tastes quite chewy. Apparently the good pizza makers have left the shop, but as long as the place continues to be busy, there is - at least in my opinion - no hope that the quality will improve.

I was there recently and ordered a salami pizza to take away. It was ready after 4 minutes, which seemed very quick to me and I thought to myself, they must have a great oven. When I got home, I opened the box and found that the edge of the dough was still partially raw. I was very hungry and ate the pizza anyway. I had diarrhea that night and felt sick even the next day. I've eaten the best pizzas in the deepest villages in southern Italy. But what I got here completely took away my appetite for pizza. Even a cheap frozen pizza is even better.

The pizzas were very tasty! We arrived in Frankfurt in the evening from a long drive, were really hungry and decided to visit this pizzeria based on the other great reviews. Great wood stove. Crispy, juicy, reasonable portion, really plenty of toppings, very short waiting time, even though it was still really full around 9:30 p.m. (90 percent of the tables were occupied). The team is very on the ball! We ordered two pizzas - one Frutti di Mare and one Spinaci. The only drawback was perhaps: we each wanted a mozzarella topping instead of Gouda cheese (we just don't tolerate Gouda that much) and that cost an extra 1.50 each. It's not about the price, it's just that it's just nowhere on the scoreboard. That's not a star deduction, I just thought it was worth mentioning. However, I can definitely recommend this pizzeria and hope that they continue to put in the same effort. ***** And.. a year later we were there again today after our visit to the trade fair! It was another wonderfully delicious pizza 🍕😍🙏

Supper food, but when I called to order something and was about to say something, they just hung up on me

Da Cimino is simply cult and the stone oven pizza is excellent. Highly recommended, especially as it is a traditional Italian pizzeria.

We got there shortly after 10 pm and the place was very crowded. The food was splendid and served quickly even though there were so many customers. The staff was visibly stressed but still managed to make all customers happy. Next time I'll go for a Take out though, as the tables weren't as clean as I prefer and it was quite loud in there that late. The kitchen was clean though and the chef yelling the orders made me feel like I was in Italy.

I am a simple person. When I'm in Frankfurt I go to Da Cimino and eat myself happy. Real is real.

I ordered a pizza and unfortunately the wrong pizza arrived. So I called the restaurant. The employee was so unfriendly and constantly wanted to brush me off until he realized that it was actually a mistake. I've enjoyed ordering pizza here so far, but since the service is absolutely subpar, I won't do that anymore.

Cimino is no longer what it used to be. They only save on quality in order to generate the highest profit. The size of the pizza has also decreased over time. The store has never been friendly, I didn't think it could get any worse. The tables are never cleaned. There is no emphasis on cleanliness and the store is really run down at times. The pizza and pasta are like a stone in my stomach, which is always proof for me when the quality of the food used is very inferior. I'll never come back again. For me it worked out.

Unfortunately, the love has now been lost here. Pizza has clearly deteriorated. Not enough tomato sauce, strange tasting cheese. The pizza makers are under stress and the quality suffers... a shame. The tables also need to be wiped.

UPDATE 25Sep2024 Still as good! Although slight portion reduce on the food. All pizzas made to order right in front of you. Will always support this place. After 26 years of patronizing! Da Domino serves one of the Best Pasta in the world! Mushroom spanich is superb. And their pizza are all freshly baked on orders infront of u… you couldn't be more fresh on that! Pictures showed are my most fav Seafood pasta and Mushroom Spanich... Enjoy!

Unfortunately a disappointment I really can't understand the 4.5 stars this restaurant received. I visited based on the good reviews, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The ordering process at the counter was anything but pleasant - I actually expect table service in a pizzeria. The fact that only cash is accepted these days is also very inconvenient. After you order, you look for a seat and the dishes are announced via microphone. This leads to chaos if several guests have ordered the same thing, as everyone then runs to the counter at the same time. The seats themselves were uncomfortable and carelessly designed. It was also dirty and greasy – I had to clean my place myself before I could even eat. The pizza was okay, but definitely nothing special. Overall the experience was disappointing and I will not visit this place again. If you want to spend a cozy evening, you should definitely look elsewhere.

After all these years, this place still refuse to accept card payment. When the world is changing, they still prefer CASH only. The food, the people and the drinks are great options for lunch. The crowd are usually locals. Approach the younger one to speak English (speak good English too). The food is awesome…totally no doubt about it!

Unfortunately very disappointed. We ordered pasta with carbonara with zucchini, it was just pasta with only cream sauce and zuchini. It's not a carbonara. According to my knowledge and experience in Italy, carbonara looks a bit yellowish and is prepared with egg and parmesan cheese...

The pizzeria only accepts payment by card, I asked twice just to confirm. Good thing I asked before eating, so as not to be embarrassed when paying. I will not go back to this place, it's ridiculous for a restaurant not to accept card payment.

After ordering online with a hefty surcharge, I went straight to pick it up. The service said that the pizzas would be ready soon. After 20 minutes of waiting and various customers who ordered after me but were served before me, I showed clear dissatisfaction with my treatment. The service then finally handed me the already cold, long-finished pizza - no apology, nothing. This is how you scare away customers!

Best pizza Frankfurt, no discussion. Unfortunately, after 23 years of only eating pizza there, I noticed yesterday that the pizzas have become very small. I ordered four pizzas to take away yesterday and I was shocked at how small the pizzas were. Smaller than my plates. The prices have remained the same but you get half the pizza. Just as an information for the boss, at some point there will be an end to stinginess. Customers are not stupid. Even after 23 years as a loyal customer, I will look for another pizzeria if the owner of the pizza doesn't change. Unfortunately. Otherwise the pizza still tastes very good.

We waited (as you can hear and be amazed) for two hours for two pizzas. When I ordered I was scolded as to why I didn't order pasta but pizza because it would take a long time. Cimino works with Lieferando and others. These are given priority treatment and sometimes pick up up to 20 pizzas. Of course, the service and, above all, quality suffers as a result. Some of the pizzas were burnt on the edges and carelessly topped. It used to be our favorite pizzeria in Frankfurt. A pity!

Best Pizza in town. The stone oven gets your pizza ready in just a few minutes. Taste is yummy and you get a great value for money. Mostly take away but they do have a few seats and more in summer outside. There is always a line with speaks for itself. Recommended!

Simply the best pizzeria in Ffm!

My favorite pizzeria since 1969 🍕. The quality has gotten even better over the years. I prefer to order the pizza Milan or the pizza with salmon. Always lavishly topped.
