A very nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food is good, but there's room for improvement in terms of refinement and presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We ate there with our family. Among us were vegans and vegetarians, and everyone found something they liked on the menu. Five stars are definitely warranted. The service was very professional, though perhaps a little too formal at times, but that's not a negative point. We'll gladly come back.

Excellent food at a fair price. The wines from the Schreieck winery are also very good. The exceptionally competent and friendly service deserves special mention. Highly recommended!

Tonight we ate at Cuvée, and what can I say? Absolutely delicious 😋 We had four tapas for starters, with the Saumagen Carpaccio getting a special mention. Top-notch!!! For the main course, I had the Palatinate Sausage! Magnificent 👍👍👍 The price-performance ratio is reasonable. €110 for two people.

Eight of us went out to eat today, and we were all absolutely thrilled. We tried at least half of the tapas menu (including Palatinate tapas), had main courses (not everyone), and some even had dessert. Our verdict: World-class!!! Everything was very finely seasoned, and some of the main courses also come in tapas versions (e.g., Palatinate Saumagen, ox cheeks, etc.). The gravy that accompanied the ox cheeks, among other dishes, required an order of bread because the last remnants of the sauce were eaten with it. It was an all-around successful evening, both in terms of service and ambiance, and we can truly recommend this restaurant with this special menu. We'll definitely be back! I don't have many photos; it was far too delicious to photograph 😀 (Ox cheeks with beans and spaetzle, apricot dumplings for dessert tapas)

I had ox cheeks with spaetzle. The meat was super tender and the spaetzle was freshly made. I'd go back anytime. My wife had a question about her dish, but the waitress couldn't answer it.

Today was our first time eating at Cuvée under the not-so-new tenants. We come here every year and eat at least once. Cuvée has a more attractive and delicious menu. Both the tapas and the "regular" portion sizes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. All seven of our guests enjoyed their meal! The ambiance could use some soundproofing; every table was occupied, so it was a bit noisy. I was especially pleased that my special request for dessert was fulfilled – thank you so much for that! We'll be happy to come back and look forward to new culinary delights! Keep up the good work!

Very nice, cozy restaurant. Friendly staff, many guests arrived at the same time as us. Therefore, one more server would have been ideal. We often eat tapas, seafood, etc. These tapas were the best we've had in a long time. Very fresh ingredients, beautifully presented in beautiful dishes. The overall concept was fantastic. We had a very pleasant 32nd wedding anniversary. We would gladly come back.

First of all, the many negative reviews refer to the previous operator... so be sure to check the dates, the new team has only been on board since March 2025! During our vacation, we visited the restaurant once for a glass of wine and twice for dinner; there was nothing to criticize. Just go, be sure to call ahead, and enjoy. The "tapas concept" really appealed to us, but the classic main courses were also excellent. Just like with wine, you have to taste to taste... all the best to the team, keep up the good work, and thank you for the wonderful time.

Wonderfully welcoming host team! The tapas selection is excellent and delicious. My favorite was the grilled watermelon with goat cheese mousse and popcorn 💕 A good selection of wines and aperitifs, and the non-alcoholic Glitter Spritz was a refreshing non-alcoholic alternative. Good value for money. Thank you for the wonderful time with us.

Delicious Palatinate food with a clever Palatinate tapas concept. A lovely evening with friends where we felt well looked after.

While we were still looking for a restaurant on Monday afternoon, we stumbled upon the recently opened Cüvée during a wine tasting at the neighboring Schreieck wine and sparkling wine house (great wines and super-friendly service) in Maikammer. Booked for the same evening's outdoor seating, we were then shown to our table by a cheerful and humorous "waiter." We first had a tasting of the wine pairing with the menu selection (for once?!). My wife was (thank goodness 😊) thrilled with her risotto, and I felt the same way about my steak with spaetzle. Afterwards, we each had a dessert for a very reasonable price. Despite the fully booked outdoor area, there were no long waits, the food was excellent, and everyone can tell from the quality of service and the generally positive atmosphere that the waiters love their job. This restaurant won't just be our "Monday restaurant."

No reservations for outdoor seating in nice weather—that's simply not possible. Therefore, no visits were and are taking place.

Great service and very tasty food

I rarely review restaurants, but this time I had to. The food was outstanding! Main courses can be ordered as smaller "tapas" portions, so you can mix and match everything as you like. The quality and taste of the food are excellent. The service is very attentive and unobtrusive. Very tasty wines! And generally good drinks prices. The food is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every cent! After the meal, there are delicious desserts in small glasses for only €3-4, everything was top-notch! Greetings from the Rhineland!

I was back at the newly opened Cuvée yesterday and must admit that it doesn't quite live up to the standards of its previous tenants. The food is still very good and highly recommended, especially the ambiance was almost perfect. I would gladly eat here again; my experience was positive.

Six of us went to Cuvee for our birthday dinner. The appetizers were delicious tapas, beautifully presented and served at the same time. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. All the main courses—rump steak, veal steak, ox cheeks, and even the vegetarian main course—were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The new owners of Cuvee are a godsend; we will be back more often.

Three of us arrived at this recently renovated restaurant on a Thursday evening without a reservation and easily found a nice table. The owner's excellent service and the very attentive staff, with regionally and internationally inspired cuisine, the highlight of which were the many humorously described tapas, immediately won us over. There were three of us and we had the asparagus cream soup and cheese spaetzle as starters. For main courses, we chose the very good zander fillet with risotto, the well-paired couscous bowl, and, as a regional specialty, the extensive Palatinate platter, each accompanied by the owner's excellent white wine recommendations (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Riesling). A worthy finale was the delicious chocolate mousse, for example, with a Pinot Noir. All in all, a successful evening and a recommendation to other guests.

I can only recommend the restaurant. The food is super tasty at a really fair price. The service is top, fast and very attentive. We went there twice during our short vacation because it is very nice there. The tapas are both traditional and tailored to Palatinate cuisine, and are highly recommended.

Today I was back in the Cuvée after a while and got to know the new tenants. I was thrilled by the atmosphere, the appropriate background music, the harmonious concept together with the Schreieck winery and the excellent food. Short preparation times, extreme customer proximity from the owners and serious hospitality rounded off my evening. I don't hang out with star chefs and I'm rather down-to-earth, so this was exceptionally good for me today! The fact that holiday guests made a reservation for the next day right at the table says a lot about this restaurant, which can certainly compete at a very good level in the area!

We had a really nice evening in the Cuvée - from the first “hello” to the last bite, it was just completely harmonious. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive - you immediately felt at home. The absolute highlight for us were the tapas: creative, varied and perfect to try out together. You can just tell that people cook with love and ideas here!

We have known the Cuvee for many years. We have now managed to find tenants who are really very friendly. The service was very nice and attentive. The food, whether tapas, asparagus dishes or Palatinate cuisine, was all very good. Price performance is ok. We look forward to eating there again.

Today we had a very special evening in the newly opened wine restaurant. We wanted to try everything and therefore opted for the Palatinate tapas, which were consistently convincing. The service is particularly child-friendly and warm, and the restaurant impresses with its beautiful ambience. Perfect for a romantic evening. We'll be back 🍷 ❤️

The food is ok, but not great either. The service is flippant and arrogant. During the starter, the salad for the main course was brought out...not possible. We were at the table at 6:30 p.m., at 7:50 p.m. we were asked if we wanted dessert, the kitchen was closing, and after an espresso we asked for the bill. When paying we were told that card payment wasn't possible, so we pooled everything together to be able to pay the bill. Who still has €180 in cash in their pocket today? Then the big thing... we still have drinks on the table and are still talking when the waitress comes and says: “We want to close” and it was just 8:10 p.m.! The new tenants are no better than the old ones before. Apparently there are shops that like to drive themselves into trouble. This was our 2nd and final visit to the Cuvée. The location is so beautifully decorated, but unfortunately the rest doesn't fit.

Very arrogant service. Risotto overcooked. Mussels only partially with contents. Some foods are too salty. Waiter's comment: someone is in love; that was it.

Experienced on 9/5/24: Reservation by email with no response. Finally call the restaurant. 6 p.m. was too late, reservation for 5:30 p.m. as a counter-suggestion. Ultimately, we ended up with a table close to the street, even though we were the first and only guests at the time. Cuvee tries to be an Italian restaurant. Capaccio was a pile of rocket with 2 slices of meat hidden underneath. Not to mention the pasta with the porcini. How stupid do you think the German guest is? Once and never again

We had a reservation for father's birthday. The parents are not from here and are visiting us. When we arrived there on foot (father with a cane), the restaurant was closed due to illness. Nobody canceled us. There we were standing in front of closed doors on our birthday. A short information by phone (we provided the number when making the reservation) or SMS would have been enough to plan something else in good time. That was a big disappointment. Addendum to the owner's answer: There is not a single voicemail message and not a single missed call. We cannot understand who was called, at least not by us.

Ich habe für ein Abendessen mit 2 Kollegen das Restaurant gebucht. Im Prinzip entsprach alles unseren Erwartungen. Das Ambiente war nett, die Küche (Gemischte Antipastiplatte, ital. Burger) war ordentlich, der Service war korrekt. Zu 5 Punkten fehlte mir etwas der besondere Charme. Alles in allem eine sehr solide Leistung.

With the new chef, the cuvée is back to the beginning. Here you can enjoy first-class gastronomy without a star at reasonable prices. The service also deserves the 5 stars. Three young ladies looked after us very well without seeming intrusive. The six of us were completely satisfied with the cuvée. So definitely go, but it's better to reserve in advance. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately they had forgotten our reservation. It wasn't too bad as there were enough seats available. But I would have liked an apology. Carpaccio on the plate 5 minutes after ordering. Vitello Tonato the size of a dessert plate. Too little for 15 euros. The food was ok, but nothing special. But ketchup and mayo from the disposable packaging had more of a cafeteria feel. The service wasn't good. The plates had already been cleared away even though one of us was still eating. Conclusion: Nice rooms, food ok, service could be improved a lot and therefore a clouded overall experience.

Visited with my wife. All very good. At first glance the prices may seem a little higher than elsewhere, but the quality is high and you leave feeling full (however, I would have preferred the mixed starter to be slightly richer). We will certainly return.

We went back to the restaurant once after the change in ownership and ordered tagliatelle with salmon and tortellini with asparagus pieces, asparagus cream and shrimp according to the additional offer. Both dishes were very tasty. The Secco to start with and the Allgäuer Bübli beer as well as the rosé wine “Feudenschrei” from the Schreieck winery rounded off the meal perfectly. We will be back.

In the 2nd week after the reopening, we had our first nice experience with friendly service, good portions, delicious, varied selection of food (personal with delicious Italian burgers, hand-made fries), and good wines. Nice to recommend...

The atmosphere in this restaurant is nice and the service is very friendly. The food didn't convince us. The side salad was bland and served with a kind of “ready-made” dressing. Neither the salad nor the dressing met our taste. There was a lack of seasoning in the respective main courses (risotto and gnocchis). there is still room for improvement... Good luck to the new owners!

Italienische Sänger mit Live Musik (Italienisch bis deutsch) neue Besitzer einfach freundlich, jung und sehr fröhlich. Das Essen war 1A. Preis Leistung super. Das beste Steak, das ich bisher in der Pfalz gegessen habe. Wir kommen wieder!

Küche und Bedienpersonal bewerten wir mit "sehr gut". Solange man nicht mit der durchaus arroganten Chefin, die zudem noch ein Defizit mit dem Umgang von Kunden hat, kann man im "Cuvee" durchaus Essen gehen. Planen sie viel Zeit ein, um ihre Rechnung zu begleichen, bei uns gute 20 min., denn Konversation mit anderen Gästen hat Vorrang. Diesen Lapsus versucht man dann mit einer Runde Schnaps oder einem Secco Gutschein gut zu machen. Gezahlt wird nach Lust und Lune, manche werden am Tisch besucht zum Kassieren, andere werden sehr unhöflich an den Computer im Eingangsbereich zitiert. Das Wort "Bitte" ist in der Chefetage gänzlich unbekannt.

Flexible cuisine is advertised here, but that is not the case. Even at an early hour we couldn't order everything on the menu (no special requests). Children are completely undesirable. We ended up asking for drinks at the counter as we were shunned by the condition. The food was tasty but overall not bearable for us. Thanks for the feedback on the review. Of course we were in your restaurant. I can easily distinguish between Maikammer and Wachenheim, especially since we know very well where we spent the night. I may not have described the cash register in the entrance area and the counter correctly. In any case, we ordered the drinks for our table there because there was no service. The reaction reflects the other 1-star reviews.

Recently had a meal at the restaurant. All of the dishes we ordered tasted great. Of course, you shouldn't assume that your plate is full. We found the service very attentive and nice 👍 The wine bar...very tastefully decorated both inside and outside! The bill at the end is a bit more expensive, but it's within reason. Quality has its price. All in all a lovely evening for us.

Als Schweizerin war ich immer stolz auf die Gastfreundschaft in meiner zweiten Heimat. Diese Bedienung, vermutlich die Chefin, war jedoch die grösste Ausnahme durch Arroganz, Frechheit und Inkompetenz, die ich jemals in der Pfalz erleben musste. Bei 2 Gerichten war das Fleisch zu trocken. Rest war ok. Einmal und NIE wieder. Wir tragen unser Geld gerne an jeden anderen Ort und empfehlen gute Orte auch sehr gerne weiter. Das wird hier sicherlich nicht der Fall sein

Waren gestern Abend zum ersten Mal mit Freunden zum Essen dort. Das Lokal ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte bittet für jeden etwas. Wir wurden sofort und sehr freundlich bedient. Zum Essen kann man nur sagen: Topqualität und alles Frisch und dazu die passenden Soßen. Auch die Cefin setzte sich zu einem Plausch an unseren Tisch. Dieses Lokal kann man wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Essen ordentlich, Winzerteller zu 16,80€, Riesling Schorle zu 4,80€. Bedienung allerdings unaufmerksam und bei Reklamation patzig. Muss nicht wieder hin.

I travel to visit one of my customers in the area and have dined quite frequently in Maikammer, this is by far the best restaurant in that small town. I am puzzled by other restaurants getting better reviews. They can't touch this place. Really there are perhaps only one of two restaurants than can come close. Indoor or outdoor seating, superb food & wine, exceptionally clean and well run. There is a ample car parking at the rear. Just go you will not be disappointed.
