Great snack bar! The fries are amazing! And lots of sauces to choose from. I think the sausages should be great too (unfortunately I didn't try any), apparently they're local and from a butcher shop!

It's not an alternative to the marketplace. The atmosphere is what it is; it's just a snack bar!

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner here; the currywurst was absolutely delicious; we had the medium-sized sausage, which I highly recommend. The value menu also includes fries and a drink. And for a truly unbeatable price in Freiburg. The highlight was that they had a wide variety of sauces to choose from, which you could help yourself to and refill as often as you wanted.

I went there for the first time today and ordered a currywurst. It was incredibly delicious. The staff was also incredibly friendly ☺️ I'll definitely be coming back for currywurst more often 🤗

Very good currywurst with very good wedges or fries. Served with house dips or other sauces. The snack bar is just a tiny niche, with some space outside in a driveway. Perfectly adequate.

A simple snack bar with a focus on currywurst. In addition to the typical Freiburg currywurst (long red sausage), there is also currywurst with a regular bratwurst. Sausages are also available to go in a roll. As a side dish, you can choose between fries and wedges, as well as a variety of sauces. The curry sauce is available in four spice levels: normal, hot, fire, and hell. The standard dishes leave nothing to be desired in terms of taste. I can't comment on the chicken wings and nuggets. The staff is usually courteous and very quick in preparing the food. You can eat at one of the three standing tables or in the go. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms available. The price/performance ratio is good.

Best currywurst in Freiburg! I've been to Curry & Fritz several times now – and it's a delight every time! The currywurst is simply unbeatable, especially the "long red" one with the homemade sauce. It's beautifully seasoned, perfectly balanced – not too hot, not too bland. 😋 The fries are usually crispy, sometimes a bit greasier – but overall delicious and in a decent portion. The value for money is excellent, especially when ordering a meal with a drink. The staff was always friendly and quick, even when it was busy. If you're in Freiburg and craving a really good currywurst, you've come to the right place! 🍟🌭

Not cheap by any means, but hella good!

Generous portions, with the option to use your own sauces directly from the dispensers. The shnitzel bites are easy to make; they're not your typical chicken nuggets, but real mini cutlets. The potatoes are excellent, and you can choose from a variety of different ones. Great finger food to take on the go. The owner is very friendly.

The romance of eating currywurst in Germany. This restaurant was delicious enough to make that romance come true. The amount of sausage felt a little small, but there is also a double-something menu, so if you like sausages, that menu would be good too. The owner is cheerful. When I ordered two menus, he confidently and skillfully asked and confirmed the type of potato (fry or wedge) and the spiciness (spicy or normal). Later, when I was handing over the food, I asked which one was spicy and which one was not spicy, and he waved his hand saying that he had forgotten and told me to just take it and eat it. My companion and I randomly shared the menu. I didn't want to eat spicy food, but it wasn't very spicy like Western food, so it was okay. (My companion was disappointed because it wasn't spicy.)

I've been coming here for over 10 years and always look forward to my next visit. The fries are amazing and the currywurst is excellent. They also have excellent dips, and you can help yourself to as much as you like.

It is one of my favorite places in the city, every time I arrive it is the first thing I go to eat. The place is tiny, only about 4 people can really fit inside the place. The curries are delicious and personally I think they are very worth it. Unfortunately they do not accept American Express.

Very fast service. Good food but too full of sauces... I couldn't tell if the frankfurter was good or not because of so much sauce on the plate. A little too much for the tastes of us Italians... perhaps the sandwich is better than the dish

The food was okay, but the drink was very expensive. Furthermore, the man didn't want to give us a deposit because he said that we hadn't paid for it (something that wasn't a commodity). The man was also completely disrespectful as we went with foreigners, one tried to speak in English but the occupier told him that he should only speak in German. Overall, disrespectful and expensive.

I ate here with some friends of mine on holiday in Freiburg. The currywurst lived up to its legendary goodness, in fact particularly good. Furthermore, the manager, despite his poor knowledge of English, was very helpful and extremely kind. Highly recommended for a good currywurst in the city and for a good urban and economical meal in general

Super. I was there today. 6.90 Currywurst with fries. That's how prices are these days. Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard are not charged extra. I thought that was very nice. I also found the staff nice. I'm not just saying that. I'm strict about it. And 5 stars are rare. And you have to remember, I've been looking forward to the sausage since the south of France. And in Germany there is almost only kebab.

Hatte Currywurst mit Pommes mit einer Geschlagenen. Die Soße ist gut, die Pommes sind auch gut. Aber die Wurst war völlig trocken und am Rand schon bröselig, die muss da schon den halben Tag auf dem Grill gelegen haben. Der Geschmack der Wurst war auch sehr langweilig.

Die mit Abstand beste Currywurst in Freiburg zu einem angemessenen Preis, die Pommes sind die besten die ich jemals gegessen habe. Auch das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich, was den ganzen Laden zu einem der besten Imbisse aller Zeiten macht. Legendenstatus offiziell.

Freiburgs gefühlt letzte Pommes Bude. Hier bekommt man leckere Currywurst, Freiburgs lange rote, oder chicken Nuggets für einen angemessenen Preis. Die Pommes sind natürlich auch nicht zu verachten. Das Ambiente ist wie bei einem Currywurst Stand. Wenig Platz aber denoch alles sauber! Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und achten auf hygiene.

Sehr leckere, gute Portion Pommes, leckere Sauce, gute Wurst (Lange Rote) , auch wenn sie für meinen Geschmack zu dünn war und etwas zu lange aufm Grill war... Ordentlich gewürzt. Fuer mich die schlechteste, zu teure "Currywurst" ever!!! (Ein paar Mal hier probiert, doch sind's Wurstsorten, die einfach mit Senf ggf. besser waeren.) Eher scharfe, schleimige Tomatensauce, wohl mit zuviel Verdickungsmittel - schmeckt kuenstlich - ohne Currynote. Wenig Wurst, sehr pappiges Broetchen. Jetzt fuer 3,80 Euro... Wem es so gut genug ist??? Mir nicht. Auf dem Muenstermarkt gibt es echte Currywurst fuer 2,50 bis 3,-- Euro.

Leider gibt es nur 5 Sterne, ihr hättet 10 verdient. Lecker essen, super nette und menschliche Bedienung und ordentlicher Portion. Sogar eure Gäste sind der Hammer „endlich normale leude“ Ihr seid super ich danke euch.
