Meat wasn't tasty and I wasn't even asked what kind of sauce and salad I wanted. He simply finished the kebab and when I didn't finish it all he told me why I didn't eat any more and gave me an angry look

We ordered online from Lieferando The food was delivered super quickly and everything was fine until then. But the order itself was an absolute disgrace. Some of the wrong products were delivered and the meat in my dish was not considered meat. It was simply not edible! Under these circumstances I would absolutely not recommend ordering!

We came to get some German beer after a friend's wedding function nearby, and were warmly greeted by the staff. Excellent service, very efficient and always served with a smile. My German is non-existent but they were extremely accommodating and were able to explain the choices in English. The atmosphere was friendly and had good vibes. I didn't have anything to eat having had lunch at my friend's wedding but you could see everyone else in the restaurant thoroughly enjoying their meals. I was contemplating on having a second lunch based on the look and smell of the food. My phone battery died as I had forgotten to bring an EU mains adapter, so the staff kindly agreed to charge my phone so I could contact my friends to see where they were. Their beer - all brewed in-house and a great selection - Lokstoff, Finchen and Saison-Bier. Saison-Bier being their season beer and it changing throughout the year. I visited in May and the seasonal beer was Maibock which was a darker shade with honey notes and reminded me of some lovely ales. I will definitely be dropping by here again the next time I'm in Cologne and would highly recommend. Thank you staff at Alter Bahnhof Frenchen.
