Cucina in Ulm

I was with my family on a Sunday when I was showing them the city and unfortunately I recommended this caffe, we were 3 adults and a baby; the waitress who served us yelled at us because we moved chairs (with the prior permission of the diners of course they were empty) she told us here nothing moves !!!! It was a very unpleasant moment, since I had recommended this cafe to my family when I visited Ulm.

Super delicious hot chocolate available in different consistencies, something I haven't experienced anywhere else in the area. The coffee is also delicious. The atmosphere is really nice. The food also smelled soooo good; I would have loved to try it. Maybe next time.

We always enjoy Café Alba. Here, you can enjoy your coffee without stress. The breakfast isn't cheap, but it's very high quality; we highly recommend it!

Great atmosphere, top team and the best tiramisu in town

We had a very unpleasant experience today. A customer spent the entire time there ranting about foreigners and people on social security benefits. The people around her quickly got up and left the café. I made it clear to this lady that this wasn't acceptable here. Afterward, of course, I personally received the same hatred. I informed management, but they just shrugged their shoulders. They have the right to refuse entry and can exercise it against such people. I'd always perceived the café as open and diverse.

Awesome café. Super friendly service, and the food is delicious. The only thing to note is that they don't accept card payments.

I do not recommend. They do not accept cards for payment, only cash. I understand that you do not want to pay taxes, but why should tourists suffer because of this? And the service is below average.

Nice cafe and really delicious cakes. Was on February 1st, 2025 in the morning. Even though there was a lot going on, you were welcomed immediately and assigned a free spot. The order was then taken immediately. Despite the constant stress, all the service staff were on their toes and always friendly and courteous.

Perfect carrot cake. The matcha latte was not the best I have had but the delicious cake and the nice staff make up for it. Would definitely go back

Nice café in downtown Ulm, but a bit off in a side street. This makes it a bit quieter. Had coffee and cake, both of which were excellent. Unfortunately, in the afternoon the selection of cakes was no longer that large. Still happy again.☺️

A little Italy in Ulm! Delicious espresso and cappucino as well as cakes and pastries. The only drawback that has unfortunately happened to me here several times as someone from the region: Unfortunately, after sitting down, I and my companion were served for a long time and sometimes not at all (including at clearly visible tables in the middle area of ​​the interior). Sometimes this meant that we had to leave after 15-20 minutes (no time left). I really enjoy coming here and if a solution is found here and I notice that it is getting better, I will give it 5 stars!

Where can you get the best cappuccino? By Alba! And delicious dolce too! The locals and we also experience sweets, a great atmosphere and a lot of heart here on our city trip.

Very nice little café that invites you to linger, had a piece of cake with a delicious café in between. We were traveling in Ulm when we were approached by this café on a side street. The cake display case awaits you in the entrance area. We decided on a piece straight away and then sat down. The service was friendly, the coffee and the cake were delicious. Everything fine

We were here for breakfast. The caffé was lukewarm, the nougat-filled croissant was sticky and super sweet. The orange juice was ok, but a small portion. You can definitely have a better breakfast in Ulm.

I sat outside. I was lucky to find a free spot. The service was very attentive. The cake (raspberry cake) and coffee were very good.

Great place to go, especially for breakfast and brunch! The location is warmly decorated. The menu is creative and beautiful - including interesting background knowledge/facts about coffee. The service was very good and friendly! The open kitchen, including the possibility of events, also makes Kaffee Alba even more interesting and friendly! And now for the highlight: Coffee and food are top notch! Breakfast Benedict and the spelled pancakes tasted uniquely delicious. I will definitely come back and try out the other delicacies too. 😋

the place is quite spacious & cozy for hanging out the staffs are friendly & warm ive tried: orange squash 9/10 fresh, no added sugar, and sweet . the portion is also makes sense(5.5 euro) coffee latte 8.5/10 -(5 euro for gross- the portion is generous) tthe coffee tastes good the milk is also fresh the pie vanilla strawberry 7.5/10 the crust is well made, the vanilla is not too sweet. the Star berry fresh. it would be better * the.ambience is cozy with music playing ( i like they play international music) the wifi is quite fast. its good if you want to work from Coffeeshop, but personally i prefer for hanging out with friends & loved one the service is really nice - friendly & helpful ( and fast response in the google map chats as well!)

I'm here every now and then and it's good to enjoy something different. I think the little sponge cake rolls are great and taste very good. Apple pie was good. Cappuccino was very good. Cold coffee was ok, cake was delicious. Definitely sweet for those who love sweets. Service was very friendly and clean, but too pleasant for my standards (coffee and cake should actually have been served quicker as there weren't many seats). There are a lot of reports online about the sweet treats, but they are not well presented on site and there is no mention of them on the menu. Certainly 100% fresh, which many people don't comply with! The negative is that only cash is accepted. I'm satisfied and would still recommend it.

There were 5 of us there today. We had cappuccino, petite, the little sweet ones... even had to buy some for home, so delicious. The service was friendly, we sat outside. The only drawback was that we had to wait a little longer and had to get to the train later. We had breakfast at Café Alba and felt comfortable as soon as we entered the café. We would be warmly received and greeted. That's not the case everywhere ;) The selection of cakes looked great, but we didn't try them this time. The breakfast itself was extremely tasty. The selection on the menu isn't extensive, but it's better to have a little, but really good quality, rather than a lot of things that are so-so. In short: we'll be back :)

I love this cafe and visit it often because I like the atmosphere and delicious cakes. But today the service was just terrible. We waited a very long time for the menu to be brought to us, so we couldn’t wait and went and got it ourselves. About the same number of people tried to call the waitress to place an order. By the way, there was only one waitress on the site, and this was when the establishment was fully booked on a weekend. The order took just as long. Instead of black tea, they brought me herbal tea (absolutely colorless) and tried to convince me that it was black. And they brought my sister the wrong dish that we ordered, they mixed it up. And then we had to wait for it to be remade. We were extremely dissatisfied with the service.

Gigantic cakes, very nice staff, good coffee. One star goes to the managing director, who, in an outdoor seating area with 2 rows of tables of the same size, equips one row with 2 and one with 4 chairs and forbids the staff from moving a free chair from one row to the other row in order to accommodate 3 to create space for guests.

Cappuccino and espresso in the absolute top class, here you can get the delicious coffee from the Italian roaster Ohm Kaffee from Arco (northern Lake Garda 🇮🇹) When we come to Ulm it is mandatory to make a delicious stop here and just enjoy it 👍
