Top location. Starts with the many free parking spaces and ends with the excellent food. Everything is fresh, very tasty, completely sufficient and meat-heavy... Everything was spotlessly clean, the service was friendly and attentive. Price/performance ratio is just fine. Dogs welcome. Absolutely recommended...

Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant music, however, the food is far from our "home" cuisine. Rice with meat, in some kind of sweet-unusual sauce, squid that resemble ready-made frozen products. Each dish is accompanied by a salad, which is served at the bar, which is commendable. We will not be returning.

It wasn't bad but not particularly good either. Difficult to give a recommendation. Friends had the Hersfeld platter...appearance was poor...I had ink fish...maximum good...I know better... Conclusion...it's ok, but not a highlight for me

Nie wieder, mein Raznici bestand nur aus dicken Fettstreifen. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin. Bin sehr enttäuscht, früher war es wohl sehr gut.

Der Service ist gut, nett und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist okay aber leider sehr laut, man versteht sein eigenes Wort nicht. Das Essen war nicht so überragend. Das Fleisch vom Grillteller war ziemlich trocken und die rote Soße dazu war sehr geschmacksneutral. Die gegrillten Calamaris mit Pommes waren sehr zäh und dazu gab es keine Sosse oder Weißbrot dafür 21,40 € zu verlangen ist unverschämt. Die Bedienung hat es nicht bemerkt dass der Teller nicht aufgegessen war. Die Reklamation blieb leider ohne Reaktion. Da gehe ich nicht mehr hin. Sorry.

Went there for dinner, overall I'm leaning back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, but I'm giving 4 stars overall because it was rush hour and things might be different outside of that. The taste of the food was good, but it was quite “standard” in terms of the preparation. For dessert I ordered the ice cream, which ended up being just 3 scoops of 3 colored ice cream in a small bowl, so I definitely remember ice cream differently from my Croatia vacation. Service was perfectly fine. Ambience just as beautifully decorated. My biggest criticism would probably be the temperature, it was really, really warm, the guests at the window seats had already started to open the windows because it was almost unbearable. That's why only 3 stars for the ambience.

Im Vergleich zu letztem Jahr ernüchternd. Die Beilagen wie Pommes waren extrem wenig (sind im Einkauf ja billig) Der Eisbecher für 5,50€ eine Frechheit. Es waren keine normalen Kugeln sondern halbe. Mitarbeiter waren genug da und sehr nett. Das Essen kam Zeitgleich für alle. Der Latte Macchiato kosten 4,60€! Teurer wie in Frankfurt auf der Zeil! Beilagen z.B. Pommes, Reis pro Portion 5,10€. Sorry aber das ist uns zu heftig.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. I was looking forward to authentic, home-cooked Croatian food, but was disappointed. The majority of the food obviously consisted of ready-made products and conveyed no flair of traditional Croatian cuisine. The salad buffet was also not very appealing - mostly made from canned or ready-made salads, which reinforced the impression of careless preparation. The price-performance ratio was particularly annoying: the prices are completely excessive for this quality of food. Overall, not a recommendation if you value freshness, authenticity and a fair offer.

The overall package was great! The quality of service was exceptional – the staff were attentive and welcoming. The location is beautiful and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food was simply great – fresh, creative and perfectly flavored. Absolutely recommended!

Very good Croatian food. As a Beberscher, I sometimes go to Hersfeld.

For us it is very convincing. The price-performance ratio is right, the quality, the friendliness, everything is just right.

Fast, friendly service. Salad buffet good selection. Had the Pola Pola plate, it was okay so far. Unfortunately, the fries were dry and floury, and the meat was very lightly seasoned. So I was happy that the Djuvec rice was tasty. Price/performance okay.

We stayed at the “sleep and go” hotel both on the outward leg of the trip and on the return trip. It simply made sense to walk a few steps straight into CROATICA. The food was great and very tasty, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the price-performance ratio was very good. A prior reservation is recommended (at least on weekends)!

Quick and excellent lunch. A step to repeat. The beer is refreshing and ultra light, the staff is very pleasant and smiling, their English a little "poor" but you can make yourself understood simply, quickly, efficiently. I confirm that I Salad Buffet is Top and the sauces delicious. A large salad is more than enough! I wanted to be strong and I tasted the Cevapcici, be careful, very very hearty and their rice with peppers, onions... Delicious; I didn't touch the fries Madame enjoyed her large shrimps and she couldn't finish her salad... It's very clean. The exterior setting is... A resort for us. Ah, finally, the espresso looks like a ristreto but lacks the taste of...of...coffee, but it is strong. Bravo and thank you for this good time.

The service is good, nice and attentive. The ambience is okay but unfortunately very loud, you can't understand your own words. The food wasn't that great. The meat from the grill was quite dry and the red sauce that went with it was very tasteless. The grilled calamari was very tough and there was no sauce or white bread to charge €21.40 for it is outrageous. The waitress didn't notice that the plate hadn't been eaten. Unfortunately, the complaint went unanswered. I won't go there anymore. Sorry.

Im Sommer keine Klimaanlage - innen wärmer als außen, Reisebusabfertigung mit der Lautstärke eines Bahnhof. Infolgedessen auch mäßige Bedienung. Grundsätzlich gutes Essen und Ambiente - vielleicht aber eher im Winter hier essen.

Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in summer and it is warmer than outside - only recommended for moderate temperatures.

The food was delicious, the salad bar was great, the staff was friendly and if possible they catered to all your wishes.

I've been there many times so far and always lovely staff and good food. Nothing has ever been raw or burnt and I've never had to wait long I would recommend it to everyone and it's right on the highway so if you're on the road give it a try.

Very, very nice lady at the service... Food was so-so... Unfortunately, there is a lot of pressure from the management level which can be felt by the employees... Guests who don't speak German won't get far here... What a shame

Seit Jahren kommen wir zum Essen, aber ich muss sagen, dass die Preise schon wieder angezogen haben, aber die Qualität schlechter geworden ist. Lendchen mit Fertigsosse, Cevapcici = Industrieware. Schnäpschen gratis gibt es schon lange nicht mehr. Schade! Wir werden die Gaststätte wechseln!

We have lost a favorite restaurant. The operators have changed or are doing something better. The seat reservation was forgotten - the seat is now in the middle of the hall. We had to go to the counter several times to order drinks because the waitress had met at the salad bar to chat. When we answered the question about how the food was: 'Cold and bad' - it was cleared away without a word.

Very nice restaurant, directly attached to a hotel. The food was good, the prices were very fair. The Dubrovnik platter for 2 people costs a fair 39.50 euros.

Wir, zwei blinde Frauen, haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir wurden äußerst zuvorkommend behandelt. Uns wurde sogar der Salat von der Salatbar zusammengestellt und an den Tisch gebracht. Vielen Dank, für den tollen Service! wir haben die Croatica Platte für zwei Personen bestellt. Diese können wir mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen – gut gewürzt, Fleisch auf dem Punkt und beide sehr satt geworden!

The food was good, the lady from the service didn't understand much German, so we almost got the wrong meal. Quite impersonal since the team change. The summer garden has become very beautiful.

Der Betrieb ist eher auf dem absteigenden Ast. Preise wurden spürbar erhöht und bewegen sich jetzt eher am oberen Spektrum. Am Ende kommen aber doch reichlich offensichtlich und in nicht unerheblichem Umfang Convenience-Produkte aus dem Sortiment von Metro/Handelshof zum Einsatz. Selbst bei Cevapcici muß wohl mittlerweile Industrieware herhalten. Die Proklamation auf der Homepage, man sei als eines der besten Restaurants Deutschlands ausgezeichnet worden, spricht für eine sehr fragwürdige Selbstwahrnehmung. Selbst in Bad Hersfeld fallen mir auf Anhieb doch einige andere Adressen ein, die ich auch im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als deutlich besser einschätze.

Ambience is very nice, service was very nice, food did not meet my expectations. I had the plate of grill mix, the liver was dry and tough, the remaining meat was over-seasoned and you couldn't taste any difference, it was probably the same mass.

We left the restaurant hungry and without eating anything because our order was simply forgotten. Something like this simply shouldn't happen! The restaurant was fully booked that evening and you had to wait an average of 1 hour for your food. However, after all the guests who came after us had been served their food and we were still sitting at the table hungry, we were told that something had "gone wrong" in the kitchen. We didn't have to pay for our drink, but we didn't want to wait any longer either. Something like that is an absolute no go!!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Speisen und Portionen haben unserer Erwartungen übertroffen, Respekt an die Küche! Park Möglichkeiten reichlich auch in der Umgebung, Tankstelle so wie Anschluß zur Autobahn in 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Auf jeden Fall für einen Stopp oder Zwischenstopp zu empfehlen! Gute Atmosphäre. Freundliche Bedienung. Preise im Rahmen und das Essen (Schlemmerpfanne) war lecker wenn auch nicht herausragend. Das Salat Buffet war hochwertig und gut bestückt.

Hab mich über den Preis erschrocken....Cevapcici und kleiner Apfelsaft...19,10€... Ich hab bisher so ca.14€ bezahlt.... Das Essen ist gut...aber werde es mir seltener gönnen können!

Zur Weihnachtszeit liebevoll geschmückt. Nettes freundliches Personal...sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen allerdings hat mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt. Das Fleisch war dürr und Staub trocken ohne ein Klecks Soße. Aber die Getränke haben es runter gespült. Schade vom Geschmack her nicht zu empfehlen

Obwohl am 1 Weihnachtsfeiertag jeder Platz besetzt war, haben wir mit 30 Personen einen hervorragenden Service erlebt. Das Essen kam zügig für alle und war lecker. Das Personal war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und fix und das trotz vollem Haus an Weihnachten. Es wurde zwar ein Essen vergessen, dies aber ehrlich aufgeklärt und fix nachgeliefert. Das Ambiente ist OK, seit dem Umbau aber schon ein bisschen wie Bahnhofshalle. Was jedoch seit Jahren immer weiter abbaut ist die Qualität des Essens und dieses Mal war es wirklich unterirdisch. Für das Essen müsste es tatsächlich Minussterne geben. Die Pommes waren kein bisschen knusprig und nicht gewürzt, das Champignonschnitzel schmeckte nicht nach Champignons und die Steaks wurden, egal ob Medium oder english bestellt, durchgegart gebracht. Alles erweckt den Eindruck von schlechtem Fertigessen. So auch das Salatbuffet. War das vor Jahren noch wirklich lecker ist es inzwischen nur noch schlecht. Verklebtes Olivenöl von gut& günstig und geraspelte Möhren aus dem Glas. Wirklich gekocht wird im Croatica wohl leider nicht mehr. Daher leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen dort zu speisen.

It was crazy busy, but it was Christmas Day and they were booked solid. Food came quickly, the salad bar was overloaded with people trying to get their appetizer salads and the line ran all the way to the bar/kitchen. A little heavy on the garlic even for my taste and I eat garlic every day.

Pyszne bałkańskie jedzenie. Restauracja przy hotelu w którym się zatrzymaliśmy, niewielki ruch ale świetna atmosfera. Wzięliśmy “mix-grill” oraz cevapcici - wszystko było świeże, pyszne i smakowało autentycznie. Polecam!

Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht Portionen zu klein Essen ist lieblos angerichtet und die Soße schmeckt nach Soßenwürfel Das Salat Buffet ist in der Auswahl sehr sparsam Tomaten und Gurken etwas Eisberg und Krautsalat der auch schmeckt wie ein Fertigprodukt und die Dressings sind eine Überraschung weil nicht dran steht was es ist Ganz davon abgesehen sind die Tomaten teilweise nur halbiert und die Gurkenscheiben Fingerdick alles im allem für das Geld sehr viel mehr erwartet da es sich um ein Restaurant handelt und keine Kantine oder Rastplatz

Waren mit allem zufrieden uns hat es sehr gut gefallen kommen gerne wieder

Das Restaurant macht einen optisch guten Eindruck. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Essen kam schnell Durch den Besitzerwechsel ist die Qualität merklich gestiegen. Das merkt man auch am gut situiertem Publikum.

Gerade für Firmenveranstaltungen sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten. Essen schmeckt super. Bloß nicht mit Rastätten Essen verwechseln aufgrund der nah gelegenden Tankstelle.

Gute Erreichbarkeit bei Reservierungen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, sehr aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich. Das Essen war schmackhaft und reichlich und war sehr schnell auf dem Tisch. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend und bietet auch für größere Gesellschaften ausreichend Platz. Parkplätze ausreichend direkt vor dem Haus. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wunderbares Restaurant mit qualitativ hochwertigen essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend, schnell und verstehen ihren Job. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die oberen Teller waren beim Salatbüfett nicht sauber. Ansonsten ist es aber trotzdem gut und empfehlenswert. Wir waren auch nicht zum ersten Male dort und kommen auch wieder.

Tzaziki Fertigware, warum macht ihr das? Der Grillteller war gut. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder, aber nicht mehr Freitag oder Samstag.

Wir waren mit unsere Familie ,die aus aus 14 Personen bestand, dort.Wir waren fruehzeitig dort wegen eines Kleinkindes.Wir wurden kurzerhand mit Getraenke versorgt was am Abend weiter SCHLEPPEND weiterging.Das Essen haben Wir dann auch gleich geordert doch mussten Wir UEBER EINE Stunde darauf warten.Es wuerden erst Gaeste versorgt Die SPAETER nach Uns gekommen sind!!!! Als endlich das Essen kam fehlten 2 Essen!!Eins wurde nachgereicht ,dasAndere wurde von meinem Gast ncht mehr gewollt da er nicht nochmals warten wollte!! Als Ich die Rechnung bezahlt habe ,entschuldigte sich der Kellner fuer die Umstaende , in dem er der Kueche die Schuld gab dass Sie zu klein sei und das Personal nicht richtig abeiten koenne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Nie wieder gehe Ich mit einer Gruppe dorthin!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten Dorade, den Adriateller und eine mixplatte. Es gab nix zu bemängeln. Salat gab es vom buffet. Preis Leistung war in Ordnung.

Top Qualität, leckerer Geschmack, freundlicher Service und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wirklich empfehlenswert. Und hinterher gibt’s sogar noch einen Sliwowitz von der Wirtin! Lediglich die Lage hinter der Tankstelle und die durch die Größe entstehende Lautstärke im Restaurant waren nicht so schön und erzeugen einen Hauch von „Autobahn-Raststätte“.
