A very good restaurant. The food and service are excellent. We first came here four years ago and returned today. A little tip: order the flatbread as an extra side dish. We were very satisfied both times and will definitely come back when we're in Bad Soden am Salzmünster.

Unable to deal with negative criticism constructively.

I arrived before two other people at the table. They were simply given the menu and their orders. I called over to the server, at least for the menu. She simply ignored me, even though she had registered me. It was a disgrace! The server came about 10 minutes later with the menu. I had ordered Pleskavica. It was barely edible, with a rubbery minced meat consistency and barely noticeable feta cheese. Furthermore, the meat wasn't cooked all the way through in some places. The portion was quite generous. I've eaten at many Croatian restaurants in Germany, but I've never experienced such a bad Pleskavica! I really can't recommend it to anyone!

Where do you begin when everything has won you over? The location on the Salt River and the ambiance are very inviting, the service friendly, they're open all day, and of course the food—I haven't experienced such good Croatian cuisine in a long time. Excellent meat dishes, all freshly prepared. Very large portions, and the side dishes (fries, grilled vegetables, rice, and dips) are very well prepared. Very nice outdoor seating, while the interior is very simple but stylish. Everything is very clean. There's no parking on site, but there is parking nearby. In case of bad weather, you should make a reservation; word has apparently gotten around about how good the restaurant is.

Delicious and authentic Croatian food, presented in an attractive and contemporary style. A beautiful and modern atmosphere inside or a cozy spot outside by the salt, as well as extremely friendly service, complete the picture. An absolute recommendation!

Ordered the medium-raised 'Räuberplatte' (robber's plate): the skewer was okay, the medallion was medium-well, the liver was well-done and stale, the turkey steak was dry and dead, the ajvar from a jar, and the Djuvec rice with canned vegetables were tasteless! Mixed platter: the fries were dripping with grease! Salt-free, the coleslaw was okay! I wouldn't recommend it...a shame!

When we're out and about, we usually try to get a good lunch – but that's not always easy due to opening hours. We've been to many restaurants across Germany, but if we have the opportunity to eat at one of "our" restaurants, we're happy to do so. I have to say: The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We like to go here. Modern restaurant with menus on tablet. Good courteous service. Food impeccable and very tasty. This Balkan restaurant has something to suit every taste. Prices are reasonable. On weekends I recommend making reservations in advance. Outdoor seating directly at Salz is also available.

We come here very often as a family. It tastes very good and the service is super friendly. You should definitely make a reservation as it can often get crowded. In summer you can sit outside directly by the river. The robber plate, the salad with chicken and the Swiss schnitzel are particularly recommended. We all love that! We were offered games for our daughter on our own initiative and special requests were easily accommodated. I rarely give a review, but I just have to give this one 100 out of 100!! Very tasty and very friendly staff. Prices don't matter when it comes to quality and freshness! The food also arrives quickly and pre-heated plates are even served in advance. Guys… you just have to try this out. 👍

Even though the restaurant was full, space was made for 6 of us. We hadn't booked any seats because we were there spontaneously. That's what I call hospitable!!

Very tasty food. We had the chicken in coconut-pineapple, the schnitzel with fries, the chicken nuggets with fries and the robber plate with beef, pork loin, meat skewer and cevapcici. Everything was very tasty and the price was absolutely OK. The service was friendly. That's how it should be!

That was disappointing: the two of us came on Sunday at around 3 p.m. and didn't get a table because all tables were "reserved for 4 p.m." I still understood that, especially because we had our dog with us. But since we were hungry, we thought about sitting outside despite the autumnal temperatures. As a precaution, I asked approximately how long you would have to wait for food. I then got the answer from the waitress that she couldn't take an order for food anyway because there were so many people coming at 4 p.m.

We spontaneously ended up at the Croatian in Bad Soden-Salmünster where we were warmly welcomed. The menu offers a large selection of many delicacies. The food was really delicious and plentiful. A big thank you to the staff for the lovely evening!

After our civil wedding on August 28th. Celebrated with 20 people in the Restaurant Croatia and were absolutely thrilled! The food was typically Croatian, rich and incredibly tasty - from the starters to the main course to the dessert, everything was excellently prepared. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was super friendly and attentive. All of our wishes were fulfilled, the decoration was beautiful in gold and modern green, we felt completely at home. Many thanks to the Croatia team for this unforgettable day! We'd love to come back!

If there were more stars to give, I would give more. The food is fantastic and the young owner was super nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop there and eat.

Nice ambience when you can sit outside on the edge of the salt. The service was friendly and attentive. The salad served beforehand was good and promised a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the main meal was completely disappointing. The Cevapcici were tasteless and had the consistency of marshmallows. My wife and our friend both had Pljeskavica. They described the minced meat as gristly, overly seasoned and devoid of meaty flavor. It was simply inedible and we felt disgusted so we returned the food after a few bites. We were offered a replacement, but we declined. Finally, we felt it was fair that our dissatisfaction was clearly taken into account in the bill, which is why we only gave it 3 stars.

Schönes Ambiente, wenn man draußen am Rand der Salz sitzen kann. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Der vorab gereichte Salat war gut und versprach einen erfreulichen Aufenthalt. Leider hat das Haupt-Essen dann völlig enttäuscht. Die Cevapcici waren geschmacksneutral und hatten die Konsistenz von Marshmallows. Meine Frau und unsere Freundin hatten beide Pljeskavica. Sie beschrieben das Hackfleich als knorpelig, übermäßig gewürzt und frei von Fleischgeschmack. Es war einfach ungenießbar und uns beschlich ein Ekel, so dass wir das Essen nach einigen Bissen zurückgehen ließen. Es wurde uns Ersatz angeboten, den wir aber ablehnten. Zu erwähnen wäre noch, dass das fettige Essen auf hygienisch bedenklichen Holzbrettern gereicht wurde. Schließlich empfanden wir es als fair, dass unser Unzufriedenheit in der Rechnung deutlich berücksichtigt wurde, weswegen es gerade noch 2 Punkte gibt.

Sollten sich daß ganze concept mahl überdenken,haben fur alles eine ausrede und machen wir daß nächstes mahl besser nür daß nächste mahl ist aber genau so bescheiden ich frage mich ab wieso das denn anderen Gastronomen hinkriegen und die nicht? Also kurz gesagt der salate hat ausgesehen wie Dreck Das Fleisch war nicht genügend also zu weinig fur dem Preis und die pommes waren im Grunde genommen ungenießbar da die schon hard waren . Der Platz Im Gegensatz ist geil muß man sagen direkt am Fluss sonst nicht weiter empfehlenswert war mahl viel besser gewesen wirklich schade drum.

Very great food, I ate something different there three times within two weeks and always received a great and friendly welcome. Tomorrow we're going again, unfortunately for the last time because we're going home again.

The food is excellent. The ambience is not quite as good when the house is full and you are sociable, but sitting there is acceptable. In my opinion, the 30 minute wait for the first course (salad) was a bit excessive. Nevertheless, Haus Croatia is highly recommended.

Table reservation online for the evening is necessary. There are enough places available at lunchtime without reservation. Had Croatia platter for 2 people.
