When checking in, the card reader didn't work - employees seemed overwhelmed. We were informed that drinks can still be ordered at the bar/outside terrace until 11 p.m. Unfortunately, this was no longer possible at 10:15 p.m. We were directed to the drinks machine - like in the youth hostel. Conclusion: Prices like in a 4-star hotel - service worse than in a German youth hostel! Sad but true! We won't be seen like this again!

Very nice hotel and great location by the lake.

We had a great stay, thank you very much. Unfortunately the 4th hallway smells of old smoke, the carpet could probably be replaced. Unfortunately, the rooms are also carpeted, which I personally find very disgusting.

We were there for breakfast. I have to say, for 16 euros I was pretty disappointed. Two soft mini rolls, a slice of turkey, salami, mortadella, each sliced ​​extremely thin, then two slices of cheese, sliced ​​just as thinly. All the cheapest wholesale goods. Plus three blobs of frozen butter in the shape of a clover leaf, a plastic portion of cream cheese, jam and honey. For a cheese breakfast, a slice of blue cheese and an egg cup with some sort of mush. Plus filter coffee from thermo jugs and 0.1 l organic juice. There wasn't even enough for a quarter of a tomato, a slice of cucumber or something similar. Tea wasn't even offered. The whole thing cost 16 euros. For the money I found it pretty sad to the point of embarrassing.

Yesterday I was able to accompany an 80th birthday party. Initial concerns such as the elevator and parking facilities were resolved very quickly. The service was very good and always helpful. The food was high quality and delicious. The view over the Maschsee is unique. You can celebrate very well here. I will gladly come again.

Listless reception staff, loud/poorly insulated room windows, extremely unfriendly security staff, in short it was the last time we and our friends would stay there.

A nice, clean hotel, but quite expensive. The breakfast buffet offers a proud 26€ per person. Everything your heart desires.

When we checked in we weren't even told when and where breakfast would be served or by what time we should be out of the room… Rooms are really nice and sufficient for a short stay Breakfast is ok, the service staff are inattentive despite there being few guests. The young lady from the kitchen who took care of the egg dishes deserves a positive mention! The only one with a smile and very friendly!

Unbelievable, we were sitting on the terrace with our granddaughter and wanted to eat a 🍨, but despite repeated requests we weren't served. The waitress chatted animatedly at the checkout...for 25 minutes!

Maschseefest setup will be great again

Nice large rooms with good facilities. The location is ideal with a direct location to the lake and a very manageable distance to the city center. When the terrace wasn't open, I found the breakfast room to be relatively noisy with little space at the buffet, but when the weather was nice it was spread out well.

Place was amazing, beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the lake. Perfect location near the city center for car show and other events. Lucy Onges was a great host/ receptionist. Breakfast was amazing and the selection was awesome.

I “just” went for a cola in the restaurant. I don't know the rooms themselves🤷‍♀️The service is friendly and attentive and quick. Sitting there and looking at the Maschsee is still nice and worthwhile 😁👍🤗🏞

So love spending time on the terrace in summer. I can't say anything about the rooms because I didn't stay overnight. The view alone calms me down.

Oh yes. A double room for just 221.00 euros. Admittedly, the view of the lake from the 5th floor is fantastic at sunset and in the morning. But I would have liked a lot more attention from the staff. No eye contact when talking to reception, no explanations as to why the credit card now has a deposit of 50 euros on it (yes, for what actually?? I could definitely accidentally take an iron out of the room...). Unfortunately, there is no information about breakfast times either - there is no information in the room, neither about breakfast times nor about anything else. But “Jogging track at Maschsee” was placed visibly... This is just as unfortunate and unnecessary as (attention:) 30.00 euros for the parking space at the charging station. But you can stand 150m away at the city charging station for free. But that is no credit to the hotel. Conclusion: you pay the horrendous price for the location and the view. And, yes, for a good breakfast - but who can have breakfast for the equivalent of 26.00 euros? Finally, I was hoping to be asked about my satisfaction at checkout. This didn't come, nor did the wish for a safe journey back or anything like that. But there was disinterest, but quite a lot of it. And what is particularly astonishing is that the house itself did not respond to this post. This once again confirms the impression on site!

Great location and first impression is very good, then unfortunately we got a room with a view of the air shaft, in reality there was a conference building 2m in front of the window and that simply completely obstructed the view. Due to the proximity of the extension, you had no view of anything. You simply don't expect a room like this in a Mariott. Unfortunately the reception couldn't or didn't want to help. Requests for a replacement room 5 times were unsuccessful. Such rooms can be turned into an office at most, but please not a customer room.

Attention: One side of the hotel is currently facing a massive construction side. They put my right above it. Work starts at 7am. OK stuff happens.. but no one mentioned this. Nor at booking neither at check it. And then they still had the courtesy of charging 158Euro for this dump. Hotel room smelled too. Stay away for now.

We were there for dinner. Food good, service terrible, staff running around mindlessly. Couldn't remember anything. And if so, the waiters went to the next table. All in all not recommended. I expect more from this house

An event took place at Julian's on artificial intelligence from a scientific, economic and political perspective. So a lot of food for the brain. To compensate, there were warm and cold drinks as well as a rich cake platter. The Courtyard's cuisine and service were - as usual - perfect.

The hotel manager stands behind the revolving door at the entrance like a bouncer and "greets" me in a derogatory tone with the question "Where do YOU ​​want to go?" It quickly becomes clear that the stubborn old man is interested in my hand luggage - a folded, dry birdy. It's my only luggage. "If everyone brings something like that with them, then there won't be any more room in the rooms. "Put that outside." The gerontocrat also doesn't care about my explanation that I don't have a secure lock, that I'm occupying a double room alone AND that I don't have any other luggage. "That's their problem. I have house rights here. They don't take the bike with them." Overall, an extremely unpleasant experience that one might have expected in 1983. Even Deutsche Bahn accepts folded Birdys as luggage. Not this eternal boss for whom customer friendliness is a foreign word. I would have arrived straight away if I hadn't had a work meeting there. Even the essentially very hard-working staff cannot make up for the poor overall impression. All in all, I can only say: Courtyard Hannover - if you have the choice - better not!

An above-average hotel in a prime location.

Everything is clean, nice and modern, but also for the appropriate price. Location and view are nice. You can also easily reach the city center on foot. Breakfast is highly recommended, but at €26 it's also overpriced.

Dog friendly hotel. The rooms are invitingly large. Furniture typically Marriott - like it or not. Bathroom was renovated and therefore modern standard. Good room temperature, comfortable beds. Very quiet environment. Perfect for sleeping. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the coffee. The employees were all friendly throughout. I would like to come back.

An aging business lady. While all hotels are increasingly geared towards families, this one is still purely a business hotel with the charm of the 80s/90s. The rooms without Netflix etc, without WiFi instructions, old windows, but good mattresses and bathrooms. The breakfast is mediocre and you should eat breakfast and eat in the city. Unfortunately the parking situation is a 4-. The parking lot is poorly lit and hardly or impossible to pass with large cars/vans. But the service is good!

Beautiful, modern rooms, top service and a brilliant location. Nature (Madchsee) right on the doorstep, town can be easily reached on foot. The breakfast buffet and the bar are definitely recommended.
