Country & Western bar gold rush in Bad Düben

Wir waren das zweite Mal dort. Gestern Abend 30 Minuten vor Schließung haben wir gefragt ob sie uns noch etwas zaubern würden, da wir auf der Heimfahrt spontan Hunger bekamen. Der nette Betreiber und sein Team waren sehr freundlich und das Menü war wirklich bombastisch. Salat frisch und knackig und das Ganze Essen einfach lecker. Danke 😊

Wir haben in einem gemütlichen Restaurant köstlich gegessen. Dazu gab es gratis selbstgemachten Mangoschnaps, der sehr lecker war. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben hier spontan was gegessen. Wir wurden super freundlich begrüßt , sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt . Das Essen war super und das Ambiente der Hammer! Vielen Dank für den netten Abend.

Leider keine gute Küche ich wünschte mir es wird nachgebessert

Leider waren wir von unserer Bestellung zum Abholen sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein Schnitzel mit Champignon-Rahmsauce bestellt. Die Sauce enthielt gerade einmal vier kleine Champignonscheiben, dazu gab es zwei Kartoffelrösti und zwei Schnitzel, die extrem trocken und zäh waren. Mit einem guten Schnitzel hatte das leider nichts zu tun. Außerdem bestellten wir ein Parmesanschnitzel. Auch hier waren die Schnitzel sehr trocken. Von Parmesan war weder optisch noch geschmacklich etwas zu bemerken. Im Grunde handelte es sich um ein trockenes Schnitzel mit einer Scheibe Käse. Besonders enttäuscht waren wir sowohl von den Schnitzelgerichten als auch vom Salat. Laut Beschreibung sollten unter anderem Rotkraut- und Weißkrautsalat enthalten sein. Genau darauf hatte ich mich gefreut. Erhalten haben wir jedoch überwiegend Eisbergsalat mit etwas Blattsalat, einer Gurkenscheibe, einer Tomatenscheibe, einer Orangenscheibe, einer Apfelscheibe und wenigen Radieschen. Das Kräuterdressing war allerdings sehr süß und hatte für uns geschmacklich nichts mit einem klassischen Kräuterdressing zu tun. Insgesamt entsprach das Essen weder unseren Erwartungen noch den Angaben auf der Speisekarte. Für den Preis war die Qualität leider sehr enttäuschend. Schade, denn wir hatten uns wirklich auf das Essen gefreut.

Vor unserer Trauerfeier wurden alle Absprachen sehr unkompliziert und zuverlässig getroffen. Besonders positiv war, dass extra am Montag früher geöffnet wurde, damit alles wie geplant stattfinden konnte. Das Team war äußerst aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auf die unterschiedlichen Bedürfnisse unserer Gäste wurde individuell eingegangen – ob Kinder, Vegetarier oder sogar unser Hund, alle wurden bestens versorgt. Man hat gemerkt, dass hier mitgedacht wird und kein Detail übersehen wird. Vielen Dank für den freundlichen Service, die Flexibilität und die gelungene Bewirtung in einer für uns besonderen Situation. Wir können die Gastronomie Goldgräber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war lecker die Bedienung freundlich. Preise etwas höher, aber in Ordnung und scheinbar Zutaten soweit frisch.

Ich war jetzt schon öfters im Goldgräber essen und bin absolut begeistert! Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den neuen indischen Betreiber ein super lieber und herzlicher Mensch, bei dem man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf eine angenehme Atmosphäre gelegt wird. Preis-Leistung ist ebenfalls top absolut fair für die Qualität, die man bekommt. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Die Bedienung war super lieb, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Gaststätte nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten zum Geburtstag von unserem Kind hier einen Tisch reserviert. Wir haben einen großen Tisch bekommen und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt mit Ballons & Tischdeko. Auch eine Person mehr spontan war kein Problem. Getränke gingen schnell. Die Kinder hatten jeweils Burger, aber selbst die vegetarischen Gerichte wie Bruschetta oder panierte Champis sahen wirklich toll aus und waren super lecker. Es war unser erster Besuch vor Ort, sonst waren wir Abholer (meist für einen Burger-Abend zuhause) Rundum absolut weiter zu empfehlen !

Super tolle und authentische Western-Atmosphäre in gemütlicher Kombination mit einem breit gefächertem Angebot an erlesensten Fleischspezialitäten verschiedener Art und einem Service, der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Vor dem Chef und seiner Servicecrew ziehe ich den Hut. Seit langem das beste, was ich gegessen habe. Hier schmeckt man in jedem Gericht das Herzblut des Kochs👍👍👍

Ein kleineres Hotel mit einzigartigem Service

Ich kenne dieses Lokal seit der ersten Stunde. Einfach was besonders was man nicht jeden Tag erlebt. Gruss an den ersten Mann der ersten Stunde Klaus.

Super Essen, Koch hat in Italien viel gelernt. Super Location Western Style. Wollten eigentlich nur kurz halten und es sind dann gemütliche Stunden geworden. Sehr netter Inhaber und angenehme Gespräche. Große Portionen. Frische Blumen auf den Tischen. Sanitär Bereiche auch sauber.

Preislich etwas überzogen, aber gute Küche und Qualität

Don't trust Trip-Advisor! Beginnen wir mit etwas positivem. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, zwar etwas touchie aber freundlich. Ambiente: 2 Sterne Einfach weil Staub und alte Party-Deko nicht förderlich zur Atmosphäre beitragen, ebenso wie Popmusik aus dem Radio. Aber man nimmt was mit Nachhause, den Geruch einer alten Friteuse. Ein wenig mehr Ordnung, deutlich mehr Sauberkeit und es wäre mit einem Country-Radiosender passend. Essen: 1 Stern. Auf der Speisekarte wird bei den Burgern mit 2x 120gr. Premium Hackfleisch-Paddys geworben. Bekommen habe ich eines aus der Tiefkühltruhe, wie man es auch bei Funky-Pizza oder dergleichen bekommt, natürlich mit der 0815 Standard Burgersauce vom Aldi und Co.. Für galante 21,90€, mehr als fragwürdig! Der Bacon auf meinem Burger wurde wohl in der Micro erwärmt, keinerlei Röstaroma oder Crunch. Ein seitenlanger Text zum überragenden Argentinischen Steak, der seine Versprechen nicht halten kann. Ein Steak, übergossen mit Sauce und Dosenchampignons für 29.90€! Was ein Schnapper. Zu beiden Gerichten wurde verdorbener Krautsalat gereicht. Auch die Dame, zwei Tische weiter mit dem Veggie-Burger muss das festgestellt haben, ihrem Gesichtsausdruck nach. Yummy! Als "Entschuldigung" wurde Mango-Lassi gereicht. Absolut authentisch! Eine einfache Entschuldigung wäre besser gewesen.

Der Service läuft leider sehr unkoordiniert, aber immer freundlich. Man wartet sehr lang auf Getränke und Essen. Das Essen kann ich für meinen Teil sagen, dass die Schnitzel für uns nach TK ware geschmeckt haben. Auch die anderen Personen waren von ihrem Essen nicht begeistert. Schade und preislich nicht gerechtfertigt.

Leider war das Personal völlig überfordert. Es gab zum 14.2 ein 3 gänge Menü. Die Vorspeise kam verhältnismäßig schnell, auf den Hauptgang haben wir lange warten müssen, als er endlich kam, stand dann das Geschirr stand eine dreiviertel Stunde bei uns auf dem Tisch ohne das man mal zu uns gekommen ist wegen der Nachspeise und mal was zu trinken. Wir wollten dann gehen, da kommt die ältere Bedienung zu uns an den Tisch und hat gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist, dachte es war ein Scherz. Wir werden es nochmals versuchen und dann unseren Eindruck wieder hier schreiben.

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Vorspeise sowie ein sehr gutes Essen . Nur die Räumlichkeiten waren etwas frisch für mich .

Selten so einen guten Service erlebt! Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach perfekt! Gerne wieder 👍🏻😋

Mal eben mit dem Motorrad gehalten. Essen war gut und reichlich. Bin auch mal satt geworden🤗. Einfach zu finden.

viel zu lange Wartezeit, für eine überteuerte Mahlzeit, die selbst ein Gefängniskoch besser zubereitet hätte. Fehlende Kenntnisse bei richtigen Nutzung von Gewürzen und Kochen im allgemeinen. nach einer Stunde des Wartens auf das "Essen" gab es als Entschädigung gab es eine Runde Gratisgetränke, die die Mahlzeit meines erachtens nicht sonderlich verbessert haben. Obendrauf es gab auch einen Nachtisch wo ich persönlich nicht wissen will was es war, aber es war nicht das wofür es sich ausgegeben hat. ich kanns nicht empfehlen, ich hoffe ich bekomme keinen Durchfall.

2 Inder versuchen im Countrylokal Deutsche Weihnachtsküche zu präsentieren. Selten hat mich ein "Restaurant"-besuch so schockiert wie dieser. Vom Ambiente,das im vernebelten Gänsefett unterging, will ich gar nicht erst anfangen. Preis / Leistung passen hier überhaupt nicht zusammen! Erst bekommt man etwas anderes als man bestellt hat... die Qualität des Essens war einfach nur übel! Ein "Service" existiert nicht und auf Bitten, uns doch die Rechnung zu geben, erhält man irgendeinen Beleg mit Essen und Getränken, die man weder bestellt, noch verzehrt hat. Schade um jeden Cent, den man hier rausschmeißt!

Friendly staff, meat quality was not good, steaks had a large layer of fat and tendons, fried potatoes were swimming in oil, but the fries were good.

Yesterday was our first time at the Goldgräber restaurant. We rarely treat ourselves to eating out, so it was meant to be something special. The service was absolutely terrible; the server had to write our order on a piece of paper because she didn't speak German. The table candle wasn't lit either. Tables that became vacant weren't wiped down or reset (at least we didn't see it happening). I had the Rancher schnitzel... I mean, I could buy processed meat schnitzel at the supermarket; it was simply disgusting. It came with a handful of potato wedges that weren't even homemade. And all of this for €28.90!!! Never again!!!

We've been going to the Gold Digger regularly for many years. We've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, and the steaks (almost) always cooked to perfection. And if they're not, that can happen. Ask politely and they'll help you. We've been there several times now, even since the change of ownership, and we already know it's going to be our "favorite Indian restaurant." We've also used the catering service. Excellent advice and very tasty food in very generous quantities. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

So, a somewhat different kind of restaurant in Westerstiel. Great, highly recommended.

The burgers are very large and incredibly delicious, the fillet tips were super tender, and the dessert was also fantastic. It's best to pre-order at least three days in advance. They'll call you back and take care of it. For example, we were asked in advance if we had any birthday guests. One table was then specially decorated.

The portions were filling. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. And the food was delicious, too.

We cannot recommend this restaurant because the price and quality of the food are completely out of sync. The service is unacceptable.

The steak was perfect. The fries were amazing, and the salad was fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly. The ambiance inside is fantastic. But unfortunately, it's very unassuming from the outside. Definitely a recommendation.

If you're looking for a truly modest meal, this is the place for you. The food arrived after 2.5 hours and was cold on the first attempt. It came warm the second time, but the steak was completely dry, stringy, and completely burnt on the outside. Unfortunately, we had to return several meals, and the food that was served later was also of absolutely substandard quality! But we weren't the only ones who had this experience. What has happened to such a good restaurant?

You hear that the meat is often undercooked. That was also the case during our visit. The men's restroom was quite dirty, which is a shame. I don't think we'll be coming back again.

I ordered burgers online for pickup. Everything went perfectly. I received a very friendly welcome. Everything arrived perfectly warm and delicious, even when I got home. This will be my regular spot.

Highly recommended. We recently ate there while on vacation. The staff welcomed us with great friendliness. You can tell they love their job. We were there shortly before the kitchen closed and were still able to order. The food was brought to us and was 10/10. We were very happy there and would definitely eat there again next time.

Went there twice on the weekend on Friday or great on Saturday. Very disappointing. We only got our food 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering. It's a shame, otherwise great quality

So unfortunately a lot of things aren't right here. The food is disproportionate to the price. 20€ for a dry burger without any side dish. The service is an absolute disaster. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. In the first hour the waitress came by exactly 0 times.

Die Speisekarte hält was sie verspricht! Alle Gerichte die wir gewählt hatten waren sehr lecker! Steaks waren auf den Punkt nach Wunsch gegart und zart. Sehr große Portionen. Preis / Leistung passt. Sehr freundliche Bewirtung. Gemütliches Ambiente, liebevoll im Western Style eingerichtet. Man muss kleinere Wartezeiten einplanen, aber man bekommt dafür frisch zubereitete, qualitativ gute Speisen serviert! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder ! :)

Very friendly welcome and service, our large dog was also welcome and was immediately given a bowl of water. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was served hot, perfectly seasoned, and my hunger was satisfied 👍 The drinks were kept nice and cold with ice cubes in the warm weather 🤗 We felt very comfortable and the food was just perfect 😘

We've always wanted to go to this restaurant for years and finally the time had come... It was very worth it, we received a very warm welcome and the food was also very tasty. This was definitely not our last visit and we would like to come back again.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time! Right from the start we weren't even allowed to keep a card at the table for additional drinks or possible dessert. So you always had to first ask whether they had the drink. Annoying! The highlight was the glass shards in the starter. The request for a price reduction was not addressed. When paying we had to ask again what the compensation was for the broken glass in the food. Then the waitress suddenly said that she had completely forgotten about it. And quickly took out a small bottle of schnapps. I said I still have to drive. But there was no alternative. I find it very poor for such a serious mistake! My friend also wanted a large glass of whiskey and cola, but that wasn't possible! He absolutely had to order two small ones one after the other.

Reservations are an advantage and you should definitely bring your time. A good steak takes time. According to the restaurant, about 40 minutes In terms of price it is in the upper midfield but it is consistent and justified. This was our first time at the gold digger, as we are from Dessau. We have to say that we really like the atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing. A new building that looks older or country 🤘. The food was fresh and tasted good but “very extensive”. I know that Bad Düben is a spa town and therefore seems to be subject to a special pricing policy, but let's be honest: €40 for a “normal” steak and €22 for a burger - you have to want that. With all the love of beef, I've been eating on Thursdays every week for 25 years. As long as I can get a schnitzel or Rostbrätel from a German host for 18€, or even the most expensive gourmet Greek restaurant for 20€, and it also tastes very good, I won't spend 40€ on a steak. It just takes me too long for €40 of my money to remain. That may all be in the eye of the beholder - but I find the offer there to be significantly too expensive.

Very nice atmosphere (you wouldn't expect it from the outside). Nice service and very good quality of food. A little more expensive, but you can notice the difference in quality compared to other restaurants with pre-prepared dishes. Definitely worth the money.
