The male owner was polite, but the female owner said in front of me: “Some people eat so much, like they’ve never eaten before, like they are too poor to afford food.” When I confronted her, she denied it and said they were “just chatting, not about you”. This is extremely disrespectful to customers. Most dishes are frozen processed food, and some meats (such as beef and some chicken) are chewy like gum and hard to eat, with limited variety. Not recommended.

We went there for dinner today – unfortunately, our impression has deteriorated significantly compared to before. Upon arrival, right at the beginning of their evening opening hours, the food, especially the sushi, didn't seem fresh. The salmon didn't look particularly trustworthy – we didn't have a good feeling about it overall. We were there with a voucher booklet (a 2-for-1 meal) and asked several times at the beginning how exactly it worked. We were repeatedly confirmed that our voucher was "included." Only at the end, when we got the bill, were we informed that the voucher would only be partially applied – one person had to pay the full amount, while the other still had to pay half. It's not about the money, but such ambiguities simply leave a bad impression. If this had been clearly communicated from the beginning, it would have been fine – as it was, it just didn't feel fair. Overall, unfortunately, we can't recommend it again – neither for the food nor for the service.

This is hands down my favorite Chinese buffet restaurant—and my friends agree. €17 per person on weekends, and just €14 on weekdays if you live nearby. For an all-you-can-eat place, it’s an absolute steal. There’s no plate limit, so I always go with my signature “trilogy”: one plate of fried noodles, fried rice, and classic Chinese dishes; one plate of golden fried shrimp, crispy meats, and all the greasy goodness; and finally, a plate of fresh fruit to wrap it up. The sushi and jelly desserts are surprisingly decent too—a nice little bonus. My favorite visits are always after playing sports—sweaty, hungry, and ready to recharge. Walking into this place feels like arriving at a personal fuel station. By the time I’m full, the world feels right again.

There are both positive and negative aspects to report. What wasn't good was that the food at the large buffet was lukewarm or cold. Some of the fried food, in particular, was very dry, like it had been reheated twice. I've never had such bad spring rolls. There was a large selection of meats, a bit of fish, and seafood for the grill. Few vegetables, no tofu... so it takes a while to prepare, so you have to start right from the start. It tasted good, a bit too salty. It happens. The drink selection was large and good. The rice was terribly dry. Sushi was great. We also enjoyed the dessert (ready-made but delicious). They open at 5:30 PM, we booked a table for 6:30 PM, we came hoping to have a delicious meal. The selection of dishes was very unpleasant, the feeling that they don't do anything there, the selection is small, many dishes are finished and we never tasted them. There was hope for a large selection of rolls, but here too there was disappointment, there were a couple of pieces left, and we never waited for them to replenish the assortment. We ordered barbecue shrimp, they were not tasty, it felt like they were not fresh. On top of that, we found hair in the shrimp 🤢. After that, our appetite disappeared. The selection of cakes and sweets was also worthless. The waiters took away dirty plates once during the entire evening. There were seven of us and during the entire dinner, no one approached us again and dirty plates were standing on the tables, if you want to order drinks, you will also have to go to the waiter yourself. Very disappointed with this place. We do not recommend it to anyone!

Well, with the best will in the world...it wasn't great, not even for a "food temple." The restaurant wasn't full, the drinks were slow, and we had to find the waiter ourselves to take our orders. The restrooms are in poor condition, which suggests a lot of things. First and last time there.

It desperately needs a dusting. Conclusion: Good with the Mongolian buffet, but disappointing overall. Without improvements in service, cleanliness and organization, I won't be returning.

My wife and I always love going here for the all-you-can-eat menu. Unfortunately, at lunchtime, we sometimes run out of meat because people overindulge, but it's always quickly replenished. The waiters are always very friendly and help wherever they can.

Haven't been there for years and tried it again with friends. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Food and salad were constantly running out and you couldn't wait for refills. So you had to switch to other foods. Of the remaining sushi pieces, only the formed rice was left there for at least three quarters of an hour because someone had taken away all the fish on top. Something like that should be taken away as soon as possible. We waited half an hour after dinner to order something to drink, to no avail. We were happy when we were able to pay.

The entire time we spent at Cooking Yu, we weren't even asked if everything was okay. It was our first and last time at Cooking Yu.

My family and friends love buffet restaurants because we love to eat a lot of delicious food. Fresh meat and fish, fried in front of you. Huge selection of Asian dishes. There are desserts and drinks. Well, the unlimited buffet of all this splendor pleases us. Friendly staff. Meist nur lauwarm oder die Behälter werden nicht nachgefüllt, das Fleisch ist trocken. Das Nachspeisenbuffet besteht aus Kuchen vom Discounter gefolgt von Götterspeise und Pudding. Früchte nicht vergessen. Sorry, aber das habe ich selber zu Hause. Mittagsmenü für 15,90 in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt. Das wars. Suchen uns ein anderes Lokal. Das Personal ist das selbe geblieben. Sehr nett und freundlich.

Hardly any sushi available and unfortunately almost only cucumber makis. Sushi with salmon really doesn't look anything like sashimi salmon, pretty pale. There were enough ready meals available, but unfortunately there was little choice of ingredients for live cooking. The desserts were also absolutely not my cup of tea. I don't really understand the very good reviews. The previous restaurant Hu was worlds better.

The food was great and great variety tho. Me and my friends had all you can eat. The atmosphere was a bit dead but if you don’t care and are just there to eat, would recommend. The interior is like something you would find in Japan.

Service (serving and clearing away empties) = very nice, quick and friendly / food (buffet) nice, tasty, plentiful, sufficiently varied / prices = appropriate for a holiday (food + drinks) / cleanliness = tables, chairs, plates, buffet, cutlery was great, the floor - yes it sticks in places (as one commentator so sensibly remarked), but I know that from many places that have buffets and after all (at least) we don't eat off the floor. The food was not to my liking. It appeared as though it had been reheated in a microwave. The service was lacking. They charged 4.50€ for a bottle of mineral water, which was more expensive than a bottle of cola.

I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years. It has always had a great price-performance ratio. The grill event is Tuesday to Sunday evening, I recommend enjoying it. At other times there is a very cheap buffet, half the price, you can do it, but better in the evening! What can I say. Go into the restaurant and stick your shoes to the floor, so much for cleanliness. The table is cleaned with a cloth that probably hasn't been washed out all day, you could also smell it. Buffet was permanently empty, there was no roast duck and after 1.5 hours it was still empty. There was no sushi at all, fried noodles or whatever it was, once refilled, rice would also be served. We got our own drinks at the bar after 40 minutes. I paid 4 euros for a sparkling free water (large). However, this was the water from Lidl's own brand (I happened to see the water being served from this bottle at the counter.) Might be a little bit hard to find the place, as it is located on the first floor of the building. It’s an “all you can eat” buffet, with a wide range of Asian hot dishes, seafood and meat that you can pick for the chef to grill right away, desserts and fruits, and even ice-cream. The price does not include drinks and you have to order separately if you need to. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re nearby and “super hungry” for some Asian food.

Especially for grill, you basically can create your own dish. Card payment is available but note for sparkasse card, apple pay didn't really work (personal experience twice). 7 minutes away from Aidenbachstrasse U-Bahn
