Colosseo in Nürnberg

The food was okay. But we had to wait ages for service. I have to say, though, it wasn't busy when we were there. And this has happened to us twice now.

The service is aloof, and one of the waiters occasionally lies backward on the bench next to the bar. The coffee options are expensive. I don't find it particularly cozy here; the place could be improved.

Very good food, cheap prices but rude waiters

The taste was truly top-notch. The ham on the pizza was sliced ​​a bit too thick, and the pasta had too little cheese for al forno. But it tasted so delicious, we'll order again!

We came here for dinner after our wedding at the registry office, and everything went perfectly. We planned the decor, seating chart, appetizer platters, and other details together. It worked perfectly. Everything went as planned on site, so a huge thank you for that. We had a wonderful evening. We often eat at this restaurant, and it's truly our favorite in Nuremberg. The selection is very large and the prices are reasonable. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. Many thanks to Michele, Tony, and Julio, you are the best!

Bad service. The waiter judges guests based on their political views.

They exclude guests based on senseless prejudices. They're apparently not dependent on their money because of their high prices.

The Gnocchi Mari e Monti were super delicious, and the Tiramisu was also delicious. Since I was there on a Sunday and there was hardly any traffic, it was very quiet and relaxing. It's also very nice inside when the bees and wasps are bothering you outside.

The chicken risotto was delicious. Highly recommended.

The owner deleted my previous 3-star review. I wasn't satisfied with the food there. It's been a while, but I can cook what we ate there at home. Additionally, the service wasn't exactly friendly.

An insider tip for enjoying Italian cuisine in Nuremberg! Everything is perfect there! Extensive menu, friendly service, and a great chef! But there's something else special! You're welcomed there like you're part of a big Italian family! Mom should reserve a table this weekend. We'd love to go back!

We had some business to do at the consulate in Nuremberg and were looking for a nearby place to have lunch – that's how we ended up here. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We'll be back next time we're here.

The waiter wasn't very friendly. We ordered pasta carbonara. The sauce had a consistency like curd cheese – I didn't like it at all. The presentation on the plate wasn't appealing either. Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty overall. I was disappointed.

We just wanted a drink, but when we asked if we could pay by card, we were dismissed with the words, "Definitely not for two drinks." Once, and never again! The staff were extremely unfriendly!

I just ordered food via Lieferando order PY9JBK. Two minutes before the driver arrived, the owner called and said the driver had forgotten one dish. I was asked to please place a new order and pay online, and he would put the money from the first order in an envelope with the food. So we had to wait another 45 minutes. When I said that wasn't okay, he said he had nothing to do with Lieferando and it wasn't his problem. The food arrived cold, I told the driver at the door, who said it wasn't his problem and wouldn't take it away. Therefore, it was inedible. We can't comment on the taste. Process -> Bad Service -> Bad Portion based on the package size (pasta) -> not reasonable for the price. First and last time ordering. We will never eat here in person due to the circumstances.

We had dinner here this evening. The servers were entertaining and funny. Food was delicious! I recommend Colosseo as a great place to have dinner with friends and family alike!

A really good Italian, but stuck in the 90s. Service and food are really good, but the atmosphere is really old-fashioned and shabby.

I was there with my girlfriend, it was perfect, we both enjoyed the food, she had spaghetti carbonara, I had the lasagne in the picture and both were very tasty. Also very nice and friendly boss, you could tell that he really enjoys running the shop.

Just had it delivered. I'll put it nicely: for €45 you can get a seafood salad with something. Calzone was dripping with fat, pizza was also very oily!!!! And COLD! The stay is not even 1km !!! Charging €45 for this is an outrage!!!! No more!!!!

I must have made a mistake with Lieferando. Apparently I ordered to pick up via Lieferando. I thought Lieferando had something to do with delivering. After all, I didn't order anything from Holsdirselbo. But after I called I was helped very friendly!!! At the end of the song: Salad absolutely fresh and above all no iceberg lettuce, dressing world class. Pizza was super tasty despite the long delivery time and obviously no longer hot! Delicious food and large portions, nice waiters

Sometimes unfriendly and unprofessional service, poor quality of the dishes. Cappuccino no longer possible after 8:30 p.m.

We were there for the first time today. Very nice owners, very friendly service. We enjoyed the food. Absolutely child-friendly. The scoop of ice cream for the child was on the house. We'll be back!

Food was ok, but there was a mice in restaurant and when I told them, they said it came from outside when the door was opened. I couldn’t finish my food because I wasn’t even sure, there wasn’t any mice in the kitchen.

Friendly service and the food was OK. What was shocking was that there were several mice running through the restaurant and the staff didn't notice.

A random decision that was made because of the proximity to my hotel, and I don't regret it. I didn't find the rooms particularly appealing; they're a bit reminiscent of a train station restaurant. I chose my meal in a very German way at this Italian restaurant: asparagus from the region with schnitzel and new potatoes. Instead of the brown butter there was a hollandaise sauce. Nevertheless, what I ordered was okay. What was annoying was a dog freaking out in the face of canine competition. The service was attentive and friendly. The overall result was not top class, but solid. It is uncertain whether I will visit this restaurant again, but not very likely. I would be curious to see what level is reached with Italian food. We spent a lovely evening with the family at the Colosseo. Outside in the small garden we sat comfortably under the trees and enjoyed bruscetta and pizza. Thanks to Michele for the warm and attentive care this evening!

I am so disappointed with pizza, it looked so bad and cheap and for that money it needs to be better. Never again definitely.

My visit to this Italian restaurant was a real treat! The ambience combines city and relaxation. The chairs in the outdoor area are incredibly comfortable and invite you to linger. The meal was delicious. I highly recommend the fillet steak, one of the best I have ever eaten. (And I've tried a lot of them). The quality of a meal is always reflected in the fries. These were excellent at Colosseo - crispy, tasty and perfectly salted. And the staff was also great, friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back!

Apart from the totally outdated furnishings including carpet tiles from the 80s, I was greeted unfriendly with a fake smile when I said I was alone. There were a few guests there and the waiter still had an unfriendly expression on his face. I first had a tomato soup that didn't taste bad. Afterwards there was a pizza special and that was a mistake. Even at all the cheap pizza places, I've never had pizza as bad as there. The dough had almost no taste and the topping was extremely salty. I don't want to make anyone feel bad and I'm always honest about things like this. I go out to eat often and sometimes it's tasty and sometimes it's less tasty but still overall OK. But that's not nice to say. Unfortunately very bad.

We were in a group and to be honest I was a bit skeptical because the place is so big...but we had a table in a corner, we had a great chat and what can I say: service was great, food was great . We didn't miss anything. Price/performance ratio fits! A reason to come back.

We ordered food there, bruschetta was drowned in oil and totally soggy, tomatoes were over salted and a ton of garlic on top. The cucumber salad was more onion than anything else and the slices were cut into what felt like 50cm thick slices. Noodles were undercooked and absolutely overcooked. We are happy to recommend this restaurant if you really want to puke your heart out.

The restaurant is getting old and needs urgent renovation and maintenance work; you could start with cleaning the windows. The service is friendly but very non-binding. There was loud, more or less, constant conversation and there were a lot of words that don't belong in a restaurant. The Italian style cordon bleu I ate tasted good. The price was okay.

Pizza was delicious - the service was also friendly... Unfortunately, they didn't really ask if you wanted something else to drink... We had empty glasses in front of us for a long time. The whole ambience needs a good basic cleaning or, even better, a renovation - the shop is already getting very old.

I don't think it's good to wait 1.5 hours for a starter (I'm a waitress myself). When the salad I ordered was drowned in yoghurt dressing, it wasn't great either, but it's a matter of taste. What was definitely uncool was that empty glasses were ignored. My husband then went to the waiters. And mixed up bills wasn't good either. So we won't be coming back

Haben nur dort bestellt. Lieferung unproblematisch. Pizza war ganz gut, aber nichts besonderes (4 Sterne). Gnocchi fanden wir recht langweilig. Wenig Fleisch in der Soße und etwas ungewürzt. Unter Beachtung des saftigen Preises leider nur 3 Sterne für uns.

Leider kann ich nur 1 Stern bzw. Gar keinen Stern geben, Laut Google ist das Restaurant heute am Dienstag 19.12.20203 bis 22 Uhr Geöffnet als wir als Ortsfremde vor dem geschlossenem Restaurant stande, natürlich sehr genervt, da wir von Hotel aus ca. 1km gelaufen sind... Ich denke Schon das wenn man Geld verdienen möchte auch wenigstens seine präsentz bei Google pflegen sollte, so viel Zeit sollte jeder Gastronom haben.

Mangiamo sempre in questo ristorante. Il cibo è assolutamente meraviglioso, il servizio impeccabile, l'atmosfera eccellente. I prezzi sono molto buoni ed è molto pulito. Lo consiglio con tutta fiducia 🥰🥰!!

Hoffentlich eine Ausnahme: Essen war gut. Der Service war bis bis zum Essen sehr gut. Danach wurden wir nicht weiter beachtet. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn öfter nach uns geschaut worden wäre. (Es war wenig los).

Das Colosseo ist eine große Empfehlung von unserer Seite! Wir sind regelmäßig im Colosseo und nach wie vor begeistert von der Qualität des Essens und dem Service. Das Essen ist vom Steak bis zur Pizza wirklich lecker. Die Kellner sind immer sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
