Been there several times. Tapas very good. Unfortunately, as a single guest you are often overlooked.

You can get everything here! Pizza, steak, pasta dishes, tappas, Spanish beer. We chose the Saltinbocca with mixed salad and delicious white bread. We were thrilled! It was very tasty! The service ladies know exactly what they are doing and we were assigned a seat outside within 5 minutes, even though all the tables were reserved. You also know all the details of the memory card by heart. Price performance is top! We'll definitely go back when we're in Bad Rothenfelde.👍

We ate very well and the staff was very friendly. We had various tappas and they were all good. Unfortunately we are spa guests and therefore we will not be regular customers. If we were at home here, we would definitely be there regularly.

Last night we wanted to go out for a nice meal with 4 people, we said the food should all come together. Other guests came to the restaurant and got their food after a quarter of an hour. Our table... I got my tapas first after an hour after several times Inquiring, the other three still had nothing, asked again. The service person came and told us it would take a while, here are cancellation tapas, we were speechless, got up, paid our bill and left, it was a joke!! If you don't do justice to so many people, you don't have to let so many people in!

Goed gegeten. bediening vriendelijk. Alleen was de tijd tussen voor en hoofdgerecht erg snel. Ook vond ik het vreemd dat je bij een hoofdgerecht brood kreeg en geen patatjes. Dit kon je wel extra als meerprijs erbij bestellen.

A nice restaurant. Unfortunately, our table was very small and inconvenient for the tapas we ordered... we also sat very close to other guests. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our tapas were good and definitely priced right. Extra requests, such as olive oil, were also needed immediately. Definitely worth a visit!

Went there on a spur of the moment Saturday evening and the food was fabulous as always. Operation and service were top. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Please keep it up.

The Spanish restaurant Collo reopened in a new location about 2 years ago. Typical Spanish tapas are served, such as grilled shrimps in various variations, pulpo piementos, bacon-wrapped dates, etc. Pizzas, pastas and various meat and fish dishes are also offered. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the culinary time in a beautiful atmosphere. We'd love to come back. Therefore 5 stars

We came across Restaurant Collo a while ago and were absolutely impressed on our first visit. Even though we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed, the staff served us really well and didn't cause us any stress. On the contrary, we were even told that the dishes we chose were large portions and that we should therefore perhaps forego our additional food. We were happy to follow this advice and in the end we were more than happy to have done so. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite and in the end we were very grateful for the initial advice, because you don't want to ruin such a great meal by overeating!!!

Great service, great food but a very long wait for the food. We were told, and I believe it, that they prepare everything fresh, but we should allow 1.5 hours if we want a steak. A good steak including the resting time requires a maximum of 15 minutes, depending on the thickness. That's why I don't understand that at all. Even with pasta dishes you should allow 1 hour. Do they still have to grind the flour or slaughter the beef? Well, but it was still very tasty...

Best Spanish restaurant in the area

Yesterday we had a delicious meal again...at Collo, of course. You will always receive a friendly welcome and they will try to find a place, even without a reservation. Maybe there's a bit of a wait...but there's still a counter where you can sit and relax. As always, the food was very good and lovingly prepared. The service has a friendly word to say even in stressful moments. We'll definitely be back.👍

Super professional staff and they are very attentive! The steak was perfectly English fried! Technically very good price and super tasty! Would definitely visit this place again! 10/10 for service! The food was good, unfortunately the restaurant doesn't offer paella and we shouldn't order tapas either because we would have had to wait an hour for our food. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed on the holiday, but were still very friendly. I thought it was a shame not being able to order anything Spanish in a Spanish restaurant.

First of all: the food was good. If you don't mind snappy answers ("I have other things to do") and long waiting times, this is the right place for you. The visit had something slapstick-like about it, from the beginning, the table reservation over the telephone (the table was still not ready by the appointment) to the ordering of dessert ("our kitchen is now closed" - which could have been pointed out at the beginning). You constantly had the feeling that the service staff's comments were meant as a joke. But they weren't. And of course this bad habit of clearing away the used dishes from guests one by one instead of waiting until everyone at the table is finished. It would be beyond the scope to list details here (just this much from the telephone conversation: "Whether we can bring you drink XY to your table depends on how full it is"). The Aperol Spritz was a driver's spritz - even after two you could still drive a car, it was so watered down. But, as already mentioned, the food was good.

Delicious food and nice ambience. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, I received very friendly service and the waiting time for the food was completely fine. Gladly again! 👍

We were at Collo again this evening, the food was great as always, today tapas, prawns and fried calamari with bread 🥖 and aioli and for my husband 👨 a pizza 🍕 calzone, with a delicious rosé wine 🍷 and 🍺. Friendly service and the Gamba pizza with aioli for the son 🧒 was also found to be very good 👍. Table has been reserved for next Friday 👍👍👍👍thank you very much

Good food, good service, but sometimes even if you have a scheduled time you have to wait a little, otherwise great. I recommend it. Yes, very important, make an appointment. It's always crowded.

It was our first time at Collo and we were thrilled by the variety on the menu. We were particularly impressed by the tapas and they were extremely tasty. For lovers of Spanish beer...there is San Miguel fresh from the tap! Unfortunately there was no open Spanish white wine. Maybe on my next visit there will be a Spanish Verdejo.

Had pre-booked a table for 7 p.m. But then the news came that only pizza orders would be accepted today. Apparently the kitchen was overloaded.

We had on February 25th. reserved, Hmm it was all hell going on, anything but comfortable. A small child is constantly blubbering at the table. These parents should be ashamed. As for the food... it came sometime after over an hour, it was OK in the group, but my steak was completely over-seasoned. Sorry, never again on the weekend.

Very tasty and authentic food. The staff is extremely courteous and polite but without losing their sense of humor. All in all I would say it is the best restaurant in the area.

At the new location, the food and service is at least as good as before. The ambience has improved significantly with the move. As a guest you can feel completely comfortable there.

We had reserved a table for this evening weeks ago. Were also greeted friendly. But then came the bad news. Since the neighboring table had probably ordered too much meat, there was neither meat nor pasta to choose from for us. All we could do was order pizza. There is only a four-burner stove and more dishes cannot be handled. We drove 40 kilometers to have a delicious meal. We would have liked a different solution here. We would have been willing to wait. A little bread and aioli on the table and we would have happily waited. But unfortunately all we had to do was leave the restaurant and look for an alternative. But finding another place to eat with five people on a Saturday evening is anything but easy. What a shame!

We were there on Saturday having dinner with some friends who recommended it to us and it was a great place with a pleasant atmosphere, even though it was full they treated us well.

Disappointing - overpriced, unfriendly and dirty Why? Well, the staff sat smoking in front of the entrance. So we first had to go through a cloud of smoke to even get into the restaurant. Once inside, a relatively good impression at first. We were still very early (5:10 p.m.) and there were only 4 or 6 guests there besides us. All free. Lots of tables and seats, it almost seemed like mass processing. Then a blonde waitress came up to us and instead of greeting us, she just said: "Have you made a reservation?" Us: "No." You: "Then come with me, but you have to be gone by a quarter to 7. Can you manage that?" Well, okay, maybe everything was actually pre-ordered at 7 p.m.?... that could be... still not worded in a customer-friendly way... I expect a different approach. The staff here should still be trained! Then she brought us the 3 cards and we were horrified: all of the cards, really all of them, were dirty and sticky (see photo). If the menus already look sooooooo when the restaurant opens shortly after 5, what does it look like in the kitchen? We were finished and left the restaurant immediately. You might be able to play billiards and darts there, but let's be honest: it's much better in the neighboring town of Versmold. And just as an aside: A look at the map: Pork fillet for €17.80, but it only comes with bread and a small side salad. An additional €5.50 is charged for fried potatoes and another €7.80 for vegetables, making a total of €31.10. Is it worth the risk of possibly catching viruses or bacteria through uncleanliness? Decide for yourself! You won't see us there again! One star for the initially appealing mass processing atmosphere. You have to give one star...

Tolle Speisen, da gibt es nichts zu meckern, wie wir Norddeutschen so sagen. Das ist ein Kompliment für alle, die nicht von hier sind. Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier. Beim ersten Mal habe ich nicht bewertet, doch dieses Mal war es wieder nicht in Ordnung. Jetzt muß ich wirklich etwas sagen.Wir waren dort an einem Sonntag und hatten einen Tisch bestellt. Es war sehr voll und von daher mußte man etwas warten. Das war noch völlig okay. Beide Male konnten wir (2 Personen) nicht zusammen essen. Die Speisen kamen mit solchem Abstand, daß das erste Gericht kalt war, als da zweite endlich eingetrudelt war. Eine Getränkenachbestellung wurde nicht ausgeführt. Beim anderen Mal fiel der Kellnerin die offene Flasche am Nebentisch um. Sie servierte trotzdem und wollte kommentarlos gehen ohne etwas zu der halbvollen Flasche zu sagen. Wir erwähnten, daß wir eigentlich eine volle Flasche bestellt hätten. Keine Reaktion und Madame schwebte von dannen. Das zweite Mal wollten wir die Getränkebestellung nicht mehr, da wir inzwischen mit den Essen fertig waren. Zu unserer Anmerkung, es wäre schön gewesen zusammen zu essen und der Nachfrage, ob in der Küche etwas schief gelaufen sein, sagte man uns: Nein. Es ist Sonntag! Da dürfen Sie sich jetzt selber eine Meinung bilden. Wir müssen noch sagen, in beiden Fällen wurde sich entschuldigt und man wollte den Schaden durch einen kostenlosen Snaps oder Kaffee wieder gut machen. Wir werden es jetzt noch einmal in der Woche probieren, in der Hoffnung daß man sich am Sonntag einfach zuviel zur Brust genommen hat. Sollte es wieder so sein wie gehabt, war es das für uns. Eine Chance gibt es noch, denn das Essen war wirklich gut und das Ambiente sehr angenehm.Es wäre schade, wenn uns dieses eigentlich schöne Restaurant verloren gehen würde, nur weil man mehr Gäste bedienen möchte, als man schaffen kann und dadurch ein tolles Lokal einfach nur schlecht wird. Drückt uns die Daumen, daß es in der Woche keine derartigen Probleme gibt. Ich würde dann auch sofort Entwarnung geben.

Wir waren mit 18 Gästen dort, Essenbestellung wurde zwei Tage vorher abgegeben. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht, Getränke wurden zügig aufgenommen und auch schnell serviert. Zeitnahe folgten die Vorspeisen dann ging das Chaos los...,der Verzehr der Vorspeise war noch im vollen Gange da kamen die Tapas gefolgt von den Beilagen, lange und bange 10-15 min warten...als die ersten Hauptgänge serviert wurden, waren die Beilagen kalt. Es wurde meine Vorspeise gar nicht serviert, zwei ( incl. meiner ) Hauptspeise wurden vergessen. Nach gefühlten Ewigkeit kam mein Hauptgang, der letzte mußte noch mal 15min warten. Ich war halb fertig, da sollte meine Vorspeise serviert werden, die habe ich zurück gehen lassen. Es wurde das letzte Essen serviert als alle anderen fertig waren. Vom Geschmack her war das Essen laut aller gut allerdings klassischer Service geht anders...wie bereits erwähnt... freundlich aber allerhöchstens bemüht!

Eine ordentliche Pizza als Vorspeise - als Hauptgang gab es Dorade - einfach nur sensationell🍀.

Heute Abend mit unserem befreundeten Pärchen im Collo essen gewesen. Ich kann nur sagen....SPITZE war es. Wir hatten Antipasti vorweg. Garnelen in Knoblauch 👍👌, Datteln mit Bacon und Feta 👍👌....ich schwärme immernoch. Auch die Hauptgerichte waren alle MEGA. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne 👍 Für das Ambiente gebe ich tatsächlich nur 4 Sterne, da die Lautstärke durch die Gäste in dem Raum ein bisschen hoch ist,was uns aber nicht abhält, gerne wieder zu kommen. Zum guten Schluss noch ein großes Lob an das Personal. Immer freundlich, flott und locker drauf. 5 Sterne+

Bestes Essen im Umkreis. Der Service ist erste Klasse, die Jungen Damen und Herren vom Service sind sehr nett und geben einem das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Die Küche ist hervorragend. Von Tapas bis hin zu Steaks ist für jeden was dabei. Die Preise liegen absolut im Rahmen, da bezahlt man in anderen Restaurants im Umkreis deutlich mehr.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. So eine tolle und nette, aufmerksame Bedienung habe ich selten erlebt. Wir kommen jetzt regelmäßig. Absolut top!

Beste Adresse für Tapas und beste Pizza in der Stadt, sowieso. Nach dem Umzug passt jetzt auch das Ambiente zum Rest.

Musste lange auf Getränke warten

Trotz Reservierung wirklich lange auf unseren Tisch gewartet. Andere Gäste mussten umgesetzt werden, Tische wurden verschoben. Nett vom Personal, dass Sie es einem zurecht machen wollen aber sowas MUSS wenn vorher reserviert worden ist schon rechtzeitig fertig sein, sodass andere nicht noch beim Essen aufstehen und gestört werden.. wirklich sehr sehr lange aufs Essen gewartet.. nach aufgeben der Bestellung 70 min für 4 Pizzen und 4 Getränke... wenn man gefragt hat woran es liegt wurd einem gesagt man hat spät bestellt. Dass alles hat stattgefunden obwohl der Laden nicht Voll ausgelastet war Ambiente ist gemütlich und ladenlokal sauber.

Wir sind immer sehr gerne hier das Essen ist hervorragend,die kellnerin sind top fit insbesondere die Lara hat hier alles mega im Griff danke für das mega tolle Essen und das anhenehme Ambiente ❤️

Es war etwas voller, aber das Essen kam trotzdem sehr zügig an den Tisch. Nette und kompetente Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen, nettes Ambiente... wir hatten Tapas vorweg und dann Nudeln, es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Würden definitv mal wieder kommen :)

Wie immer mega gut 👍, an die neue Räumlichkeiten muss ich mich erst noch gewöhnen.

Vorspeise, Hähnchen in Knoblauch sehr lecker. Tipp: bestellt Pizzabrötchen dazu. Die Servicekräfte sind freundlich und bedienen sehr schnell. Bei schönem Wetter auf jeden Fall Plätze vorher reservieren. Nachtrag: Hatte heute verschiedene Vorspeisen ausgewählt alle sehr lecker und mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gekocht. Die Servicekräfte sind absolut top. Sehr freundlich, erkennen einen wieder, sogar was man getrunken hat und beraten einen sehr gut. Ein klasse Italiener der ein großes Lob verdient!

Wir waren zum Geburtstag meines Vaters dort und hatten einen schönen Abend, mit tollem Ambiente und netter Bedienung. Das Essen war grandios ,das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt.

Wie immer ein absoluter Traum! Im Collo ist man immer herzlich Willkommen , die Drinks und das Essen einfach Weltklasse ! Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen !

Haben noch draußen sitzen können um 17 Uhr Ende August. Sind ja neu an dem Standort. Für später sollte man reservieren.

Ich bin alleine hereingekommen und der Chef war sofort aufmerksam und hat mir einen netten und geeigneten Platz angeboten. Sehr nett auch die Bedienung. Die Speisen sind topp.

We wilde graag twee pizza's afhalen en dat was geen enkel probleem. We bestelden een biertje, die we maar amper op kregen omdat de pizza's al snel uit de keuken kwamen. De pizza's waren erg smaakvol en rijk belegd. Enige minpunt is dat de korst niet knapperig was waardoor de pizza wat weg had van een diepvriespizza (wat bodem en rand betreft). Wellicht komt het doordat de pizza een minuut of 10 in een doos had gezeten voordat deze werd gegeten. Verder prima op orde, vriendelijk geholpen en goede prijzen.

Wir haben sehr lecker im Collo gegessen. Die Tapas-Auswahl ist groß, und die Bedienung war so nett, uns in der Bestellung zu bremsen, weil wir auch noch jeweils ein Hauptgericht geordert haben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Warum also nur 4/5 Punkten? Weil es später rund um die Theke sehr voll wurde - und wir (an einem Tisch in der Nähe) uns in Corona-Zeiten damit nicht mehr so wohl fühlten.

War nun schon öfters hier und immer war das Essen sehr gut. Pizza und auch die Pizza Brötchen sind absolute Spitze. Die Tapas sind ebenfalls sehr gut, Salat sowieso. Personal ist angenehm nett und aufmerksam. Hier kann man sehr gut essen, danke dafür! Grüße an Blacki 🐁

Не ленимся приезжать в это заведение, несмотря на то, что добираться нам 30 минут, потому что такую вкусную испанскую кухню я не пробовала нигде! Стоит всего один раз попробовать их паэлью и она будет сниться вам вечно! Ребята, так держать! Молодцы!

Wenn es um Pizza und Tapas geht, kommt man in Bad Rothenfelde nicht um das Collo drum zu. Montags ist Tapas-Tag, und Donnerstag Pizza-Tag. Achtung - es empfiehlt sich vorzureservieren.

Das Essen ist einfach super,,ob Pizza,,Tapas ,Nudel oder Fleisch Gerichte sind der Hammer,,kann das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen,,,,,,man soll sich nicht von der aussen Fassade blenden lassen,,,,,,

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant und sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Egal ob die Bruschetta, Pizza oder die Nudeln. Es war alles einfach nur traumhaft. Sehr gerne wieder.

Montags Tapas Tag zum ausprobieren und Donnerstags Pizza Tag. Auch an den anderen Tagen einfach gute spanische Küche bei großer Auswahl an Getränken bei freundlich lockerer Atmosphäre genießen. Wir sind immer gerne im Collo!
