Restaurant Pizzeria Sole Mia in Bad Rothenfelde

We've been to Ristorante Sole Mia twice so far. Both times we were completely thrilled. Even the appetizer plate for two people doesn't even deserve 5 stars. Everything is perfectly balanced and generously portioned. The pasta dishes that followed were also delicious. On our second visit, we chose shrimp as a starter followed by a pizza. Both were again excellent. Kudos to the kitchen. The service is very friendly, attentive, and fast. We felt welcome from the very beginning.

Wow, the food and service were simply fantastic! Despite the restaurant being packed, we still managed to get a table and we didn't regret it! The carpaccio was truly a dream 😍 and the pizzas – I've never eaten anything so good! The value for money is truly excellent, and the food tastes and looks fantastic! We'd love to go back :)

Delicious, chilled Maisels, the pizza was delicious, and the service both at and behind the counter was attentive and courteous. Our dog lay quietly under the table the whole time; she loved it, too. Great place!!!

Last year we drove there from Osnabrück, and today we wanted to eat there again for the first time. Unfortunately, both times we found the door closed due to company holidays – with no information on the website. What a shame!

Everything fits, 1 star deducted for the portion size, otherwise everything was great.

The food was great! The pasta portion was large and extremely filling. I had the zucchini, garlic, and shrimp pasta, which I requested with a delicious pesto cream sauce – simply perfect. The homemade tomato soup was also delicious and went wonderfully with it. An all-around wonderful meal – I would go back anytime!

At the surf and turf, two small prawns were served instead of king prawns. Out of respect, they could/should have served six. Otherwise, it was good, with friendly and polite service.

Went there today to eat with grandma, mom and my sister, I have never eaten such a good pizza, you can tell how fresh everything is, the staff are very accommodating and very polite, the food is just super and every cent is worth it, this restaurant is a heartfelt recommendation

Delicious, light, and crispy pizza. The ravioli tartufo wasn't very warm, but it was delicious. Dessert was also delicious! Fast service and excellent value.

A perfect day for the three of us, first we visited the city and the parks while visiting a friend for a spa treatment. Then we enjoyed the perfect dinner at Sole Mia. The stone oven is 100% tasty and the pasta is also a dream.

The food is really very good. We tried pasta and pizza, but the tiramisu was amazing. The service is very friendly, just a bit hectic. The atmosphere is nice, but the noise level was quite high in the fully occupied restaurant.

Great insider tip, we went there spontaneously yesterday after the thermal baths and got a table without a reservation. The waiter was super friendly, the food was terrific (penne Panda prosciutto and Pizza Toni ordered). Simply delicious and fresh and we didn't wait long for it. Service was top. I'd be happy to come again at any time 😊 keep it up...

Very tasty pizzas and the steak was also great. I found the spaces a little limited. In a REHA city, I expect that disabilities will also be taken into account (e.g. raised seats). A ramp for wheelchair users was available. Conclusion: highly recommended!

We have eaten here several times now. No matter whether the restaurant was fully booked or not, we were always served very friendly and competently, we never had to wait long for the food and it was always very tasty. Good, clear menu and the portions are optimal. We will definitely eat here more often. Keep it up, thank you 👍😃

A great restaurant with a beautiful interior and very stylish. The food tastes absolutely great, the pasta dishes are perfectly portioned and the pizza is typically, authentically Italian. The service is good, friendly waiters. The prices are typical for an Italian restaurant, especially considering the spa factor. All in all, absolutely recommended.

First of all, my starving children were thrilled by the extremely fast service. He was not only friendly but also brought the food to the table in no time. I couldn't say anything about the ambience because we were able to sit outside, which was very pleasantly quiet after the hustle and bustle in the city center (Father's Day). On the website it is made with good quality and fresh ingredients and you can taste it. The only thing you could complain about is that the portions are a bit too small for men (and also hungry women). The portion of schnitzel with asparagus was very manageable. Despite the 45 minute journey, we will definitely come back soon.

So the food was really great and the special requests were taken into account. When can only recommend this pizzeria! The price is a little higher, but it's absolutely okay for the service and great performance

Pleasant location with a variable menu..the homemade pasta dish tasted very good..the truffle note was subtle and the sauce couldn't stay on the plate, which made the fresh baguette with the salad possible🤗 The salad with beef didn't convince me. .too well done and overloaded with too much balsamic vinegar. It wasn't possible to prepare the salad yourself!? Therefore only 4 stars.

Visit to the Sole Mio restaurant, Bad Rothenfelde: A mixed experience We, a small group with a prior reservation, received a friendly welcome at Sole Mio, which promised a positive start to the evening. Our dining experience began with ordering two large antipasti platters. Unfortunately, these did not meet our expectations of an authentic Italian appetizer. The combination of mortadella, stuffed peppers, a piece of parmesan, vitello, tasteless vegetables, bruschetta and halloumi (?) wrapped in bacon seemed rather conventional and lacked the hoped for freshness and quality. This is disappointing. The minestrone, consisting of frozen vegetables in a broth that gave the impression of a finished product (?), continued the series of disappointing taste experiences. As for the main courses, the pizza reached a satisfactory level, while the pasta with tuna, which was clearly canned, continued to give the impression that freshness and authenticity were not the priority. Overall, the visit to Sole Mio was acceptable, but without any particular culinary highlights. The nice reception and friendly service could only partially compensate for the weaknesses in the food selection and quality. We found it particularly unfortunate that there was a significant use of convenience products, especially in the starters, which did not meet our expectations of an Italian restaurant. For future visits to Bad Rothenfelde, we would therefore opt for another gastronomic option. We give Sole Mio 3 out of 5 stars, with the hope of improvements in the quality and freshness of the food on offer.
