We've just finished eating. We walked by here by chance and found it very nice. The food was absolutely amazing. We have rarely had such good Asian food. Above all, despite lunch, there was a greeting from the house, a small salad with a very tasty mango sauce with a delicious piece of chicken... wow If we're here again, we'll definitely come back. Firstly, the food was very good. We've been here quite often too. However, I was very annoyed last week when I added my €30 voucher when paying. He was already two years old, I didn't think it could be a problem. After a long back and forth, €15 was deducted from the bill. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very friendly anymore. As far as I know, vouchers are valid for three years. Otherwise there must be a note on the voucher. I wouldn't buy vouchers here!

The Cocoon is probably the best Asian restaurant in the city in terms of quality, in addition to an excellent selection of sushi and sashimi of the highest quality and freshness, the menu is full of great dishes. The service and delivery service is also TOP. Always my pleasure!

This restaurant is exceptional for Neumarkt as it offers an Asian ambience combined with very carefully prepared tasty dishes including sushi and other Asian specialties. It is very centrally located and it is definitely worth spending a nice evening here.

We ordered delivery. It was a busy night for them and they took an hour longer to deliver then forecasted (2 in total). The driver forgot half of the order and had to drive by once more. The food was average.

Unfortunately, I was personally disappointed. Starters came along with the main course. My sushi tasted pretty average so it wasn't something I would eat there again. In the main course (mango/coconut sauce) there was so much coriander that it overwhelmed everything else in terms of taste. Too bad

I have ordered home delivery from Cocoon Sushi several times. The minimum order value is an impressive €40. This time the driver was half an hour late and instead of apologizing he just said: "it didn't go any faster".... Accordingly, my starter was cold and soggy. The sushi is always excellent and I have eaten it there several times. The sushi plate always comes with a salad, the dressing was terrible. I have to say it's extremely disgusting. I don't know what the chef was thinking. Normally I wouldn't rate such side dish stuff at all but please!! change the dressing! That tasted like ancient Gorgonzola?! Long story short: The sushi is great, you can work on it again.

On the second visit, the first good impression was put into perspective. Had beef with rice noodles and some sushi. Neither did the price justice, even though it was a lunch menu. The service isn't bad, but due to very rudimentary language skills, even ordering by card is more of a pointing game. 3 contacts 3 service staff... next time I'll get something from Rewe in the EKZ.

Well, everything is really true (for me): Very friendly, attentive service, charming, delicate appetizers that you didn't really expect beforehand, the food tasted good and was sufficiently portioned. The ambience is not standard Chinese, but modernly exotic, the background music is not cliche, but royalty-free, gentle melodies that can definitely hold a candle to the originals. The prices are OK. I would like to have the store near me.

I saw the dish on reviews! And I felt really impressed when I came to eat and experience it. Delicious food, fast and very welcoming service. It was so impressive that I also noticed the surroundings, a lot of people came to eat, perhaps it was proof and a strong condition for me to rate it 5 stars. I will come back again, I'm sure of this.

Very good food! Not exactly cheap, but considering the quality of the food, it's okay. The Greek restaurant around the corner is now just as expensive and the quality is not comparable! And what's more... Very good service, very nice staff and you don't have to wait long! Really top!! 👍🏻🤩

Actually the food isn't bad and deserves more stars. But what was absolutely amazing was that two females suddenly stood by us and apologized for mistakenly bringing one too many sushi plates to our table. One condition then took the plate that we had already eaten from and walked two tables away and gave it to these guests. That probably doesn't work at all. Under no circumstances should food that has already been touched be passed on to other guests. This doesn't happen in a professionally run restaurant with professional waiters.

The restaurant is full of tables and as a result the staff cannot cope with the service. The result was eternal waiting times for drinks and food. Drinks had to be ordered twice to get any at all. The quality of the food was ok, but nothing exceptional Neither the sushi nor udon were anything special.

Deduction for the ambience because it was very crowded and therefore loud! Tables are very close together. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about ;-)

A very very nice and sophisticated Asian restaurant! We liked the food fantastically (a hot dish, a sushi menu) and the way the food was prepared actually deserves an extra 10 points! Very tastefull! The cocktails were also great! This was our second time there and we will definitely come back!

The food can be so good. You can expect something different given the prices! When ordering on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. a delivery time of 60 minutes was given, after checking the order status after 75 minutes it suddenly said that the supplier was delivering something else and the delivery would NOT be delayed. Well, the 30 minute timer that suddenly came on said something different and that's how it was. Food was there at 8:50 p.m. Got two beers, great thing

Excellent fusion restaurant with exquisite cuisine Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Cocoon restaurant in Neumarkt again and I am thrilled again. The combination of Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine is simply outstanding. The dishes are not only exquisitely prepared, but also generous portions that will delight every palate. The ambience is extremely cozy and invites you to feel comfortable and linger. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the incredibly friendly and courteous staff, who make the visit an entirely pleasant experience. If I could, I would like to give this restaurant 10 stars because it definitely deserves them. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a culinary highlight.

I'm far from Neumarkt, but for me it's the closest sushi, I ordered and picked up something for the first time yesterday, what can I say? I'll do it more often. Really good sushi!!!!!

Sushi is simply delicious...but meat and fish...can't be recommended...cold food when it's a plate for two...it's a shame...it's not exactly cheap either, you'd expect more from it ...

Wollte alleine an einem Montag 18:00 etwas essen gehen. Das Lokal war fast leer, wollte an einem Zweiertisch platznehmen da kam gleich der Bedienung es wäre nur bis 19 Uhr ein Tisch für mich frei. Das ist mir zu kurz. Ich habe dann um 19:30 rein geschaut, es war grad die Hälfte voll. Hier werden einzelne Gäste nur ungern geduldet. Ist doch schön wenn man sich das leisten kann auf Kunden zu verzichten.

Best Asian restaurant in Bavaria in my opinion. I know restaurants well, Cocoon is cutting among the very best. Food is excellent, it is served with extreme attention, prices are just fine for what is being offered. The excell at meet, vegetables, grilling. Grilled beef!!! They serve dishes with interesting cutlery and tricks/effects. The waiters could take next step learning more German, IMHO. Absolute recommendation. Just go there, and try it. You'll thank me later, press thumbs up, if you like this review.

Eigentlich ein ganz nettes Lokal mit asiatischen / japanischen Ambiente. Die Servicekraft, die uns bei unserem Besuch bediente, war sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen selbst war auch sehr gut. Preis/Leistung (insbesondere beim Mittagstisch) ist wirklich sehr gut. Das Lokal hat auch eine schöne Lage mitten in der Fußgängerzone von Neumarkt. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Endtäuschung pur! Wir waren zum ersten mal nach/auf Empfehlung hier. Am Eingang mussten wir trotz Reservierung ca. 10 min warten, bis uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde = -1. Wir hatten dann einen schönen 2 Personen Tisch, im mittleren Resaturantbereich und nicht am Eingang - positiv. Bis wir die Bestellung aufnehmen konnten, ist eine akzeptable Zeit vergangen.Eines der bestellten Essen (meines) kam extrem schnell, meine Partnerin musste danach über 5 Minuten auf ihres warten. Ich hatte 408. Niku Moriawase Laut Karte: - serviert mit Reis - bestellt, zusätzlich Beilagen / gebratene Udon Nudeln für 5,00 €. Erhalten habe ich 408, ohne Reis und nur mit den Udon Nudeln. -1 Die Nudelsoße ... hatte kaum etwas asiatisches, es hätten auch Spätzle mit Bratensoße aus einer Dorfwirtschaft sein können. -1 Leider war die Soße von 408 ebenso ohne jedes Asiatisches Geschmackserlebnis, wie mensch es sich vorstellt, oder kennt - eine Schweinebratensoße in einem gut bürgerlichem Restaurant kommt ihr schon eher nahe. -1 . meine frau hatte eine Crunchy Roll - diese war definitv sehr gut ! Wir hatten uns unheimlich auf einen wirklich guten 'Asiaten' gefreut und wurden alles in allem, insbesondere durch das Gericht 408 sehr enttäuscht.

Schönes Restaurant. Wir waren mittags nach einem Stadtbummel. In der Fußgängerzone (Seitenstraße). Es wer recht voll. Schneller freundlicher Service. Sehr leckeres Essen. Meine Garnelen waren top., auch das gebackene Huhn japanischer Art Bruders von der Mittagskarte waren top! Es gab vorweg gebackene Ente mit Salat im Mittagstisch inklusive (kein Foto). Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Über das Essen und auch das Ambiente kann man nichts negatives schreiben. Leider kann ich jedoch über den heutigen Besuch beim Cocoon nichts positives vorallem über den Service schreiben! Wir waren zu 6 abends essen, nachdem uns das Essen gebracht wurde, wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt ob alles passt. Generell wurde sehr oft an unserem Tisch vorbei gegangen jedoch ohne einmal was zu uns zu sagen oder nachzufragen. Selbst als die Getränke nach und nach leer waren wurde nicht gefragt ob wir nochmal etwas zum Trinken haben wollen. Auch zum zahlen mussten wir ewig warten und erst nachdem wir selbst etwas gesagt haben wurde die Rechnung gebracht. Die konstruktive Kritik wurde freundlich an dem Abend von uns angesprochen, jedoch leider nur mit einem kurzen Entschuldigung und mit wenig Interesse entgegengenommen. Wer auf guten Service und freundlichem Personal Wert legt ist hier leider falsch!!

Schönes modernes asiatisches Restaurant mit Showküche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Eine große Vielfalt an köstlichen Vorspeisen stimmt auf exzellente Hauptspeisen ein. Leckeres Kokos - Zitronengras - Pannacotta und Mangocreme runden ein schönes Abendessen ab. Alle Weine werden auch glasweise ausgeschenkt, was die Auswahl sehr angenehm macht. Insgesamt ist dieses Lokal sehr zu empfehlen! Kleine Anmerkung: Wer sehr empfindlich ist, muss wissen, dass alle Gerichte eine gewisse Schärfe besitzen, die mir persönlich gefällt, aber meiner Begleitung schon zuviel war .

Eine glatte 10/10! Wir waren mit dem ganzen Seminar da & alle sind sehr zufrieden. Essen war lecker, das Sushi war ne größere Portion als erwartet & geschmacklich ebenfalls top! Die Edamame könnte etwas salziger sein, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Bedienung super lieb, sehr sehr (!) gastfreundlich. Viele Dank :)

A beautiful restaurant with really nice chairs. We went for lunch. I got the mango curry beef. I will admit it wasn’t very meat heavy…more veggies. But very delicious! We got the cruncy roll…delicious! This is definitely a place to splurge. My husband enjoyed his udon noodles. The staff was attentive and kind.

Cooler Laden und kreative Variationen asiatischer Gerichte, leider etwas teurer. UPDATE: Waren am Samstag in der Außengastro hier, sehr schönes Flair in der Klostergasse, sehr nette Bedienung, gutes Essen und gute Cocktails. Leider nach wie vor etwas teuer, aber dennoch sehr schön :-) Update 2: Waren mal wieder im Cocoon und muss sagen, leider geil :) Upgrade auf 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Exzellente Bedienung und Personal. Essen top und schmeckt hervorragend. Wir gehen dort sehr oft essen und nehmen auch Take out ab und zu mit. Super Zufrieden. An meinem Geburtstag wurde mir sogar vom ganzen Personal gratuliert und ein unvergesslicher Tag geschenkt❤️

Das Essen gestern war sehr gut. Der Service grottenschlecht. Wir hatten für 18 Uhr reserviert und mussten etwas warten. Ok. Bis wir bestellten und das Essen bekamen, verging sicherlich eine halbe Stunde. Auch völlig ok. Aber um 19. 30 Uhr kam eine Kellnerin und sagte: "Können Sie den Tisch wechseln, weil ich möchte jetzt abkassieren?" Wir haben überhaupt nicht verstanden, warum und wohin wir vor allem wechseln sollten. Das Lokal war voll. Ich habe meinen Wein auf ex ausgetrunken und meine Flasche Wasser stehen gelassen. Wir haben dann auch mitbekommen, warum man uns zwei plötzlich loswerden wollte. Es stand eine Gruppe mit 15 Personen in der Tür, die nicht reserviert hatten und das Personal, wollte sie unbedingt reinquetschen. Ich finde das echt dreist. Wenn die Kellnerin uns höflich gefragt hätte, ob es uns was ausmacht zu tauschen und uns gesagt hätte, wohin, dann wäre das überhaupt kein Problem gewesen. Aber abkassieren und uns stehen lassen???

Waren zum Shusi Essen dort. Bisher kannte ich Sushi als kleine Rollen ca. 1-2 € Durchmesser, dort gab es sie mit ca 6 cm Durchmesser aber dafür dünnere Scheiben. Aber sehr lecker. Man bemüht sich dort auch das Essen auf besondere Art auf den Tisch zu bringen. Man sollte aber reservieren.

Das Essen war super genauso wie der zuvorkommende Service. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Aber leider war es aufgrund der Größe des Restaurants äußerst laut. Für einen schönen Abend zu zweit ist es leider eher weniger was. Auch war es deutlich wärmer als erwartet. Alles in allem würde ich dennoch wieder kommen, jedoch nicht für einen ruhigen Abend. Das Dim Sum war hervorragend!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und war absolut ausreichend um satt zu werden. Besonderste hervorheben möchte ich jedoch den Service! Obwohl das Restaurant voll war wurden wir rund um die Uhr versorgt. Die Bedingungen war sehr aufmerksam! Mein Bro hat ein Suppe bestellt und bevor ich auch nur fragen konnte hat mir die Bedienung einen zweiten Löffel gebracht, damit auch probieren konnte. Absolute Empfehlung!

Vor ca. drei Wochen dort mit meinem Bruder Mittag gegessen. Ich hatte diverse Maki-Rollen bestellt mit ner Miso-Suppe als Vorspeise. Miso war lauwarm, salzig und hat "alt" geschmeckt. Wie zum 5. mal aufgewärmt. Sushi war "hit or miss". Die normalen einfachen Rollen war ok (Reis war übergaart) Die Spezielleren rollen aber waren komplett ertränkt in irgendwelchen mystery soßen und flakes die weder auf der karte beworben wurden noch zum Sushi dazu gehören. War echt nicht genießbar. Die "Deko" auf den Gerichten war auch absolut nicht dem entprechend was man anhand der Preisklasse erwarten würde. 3 riesen Salatblätter und ne scheibe Tomate bei SUSHI! Und mein Bruder hatte original den halben teller voll mit diesen frittierten Reisnudeln. Für den ganzen Spaß haben wir dann insgesamt 75 € gezahlt Zum Sushi essen gehe ich dort nicht mehr hin, wenn überhaupt.

Cocoon ist unser liebstes Asia Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und dennoch gemütlich, die Servicekräfte sind ausnahmslos alle sehr, sehr freundlich und die Speisen lassen keine Wünsche offen: sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich top. Wir gehen sehr gerne unter der Woche zu Mittag auf ein Mittagsmenü. Auf meinem Bild seht ihr “Ente in Tamarindensauce”, das es als Mittagsmenü mit einer kleinen Vorspeise um derzeit 9,90€ gibt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben zu zweit Nudeln bestellt, einmal die 46 und 50, Thunfisch und Lachs. Das hätte meine Oma besser gekonnt und die ist tot! Die Soße war billig gemacht, kaum ein Aroma, Thunfisch kaum vorhanden, keine Sahnesauce dabei und beim Lachs war die Sahnesauce kaum gewürzt, ich musste Aromat hinzufügen! Ich hatte am Dienstag dieser Woche nach langer ganztägiger Autofahrt einen Heisshunger auf Pizza. Nachdem an diesem Tag alle meine Standard-Italiener Ruhetag haben (an Bella Italia hatte ich nicht gedacht), stöberte ich im Internet und stieß auf Pizzeria Orllati. Las sich ganz gut, ich bestellte eine Pizza "Orrlati" in normaler Größe mit Schinken, Salami, Champignons, Paprika und Oliven. Abholung problemlos, die Enttäuschung dann zuhause: Lapperiger Teig, Dosen- oder Glaschampignons, Paprika aus dem Glas, Oliven ziemlich sauer, nahezu ungenießbar. Und das bei einem stolzen Preis von 9,50 €. Und das bei einem ziemlich hohen Preis von sage und schreibe 9,50 €. Fazit 1: Mit einer guten Tiefkühlpizza wäre ich viel besser gefahren Fazit 2: Pizzeria Orllate - nein danke, nie wieder, nicht mal am Dienstag

We stumbled on this pizzeria quite late one evening having driven down from NRW earlier that afternoon. We were pleased to hear that they were still serving well after 9 in the evening. I ordered a locally brewed Gansbräu pils before the meal. The first glass was rather tepid - but the second glass was much better chilled. We ordered pizza bread, actually assuming that it would come as a sort of starter. In fact it was served just after the arrival of our delicious pizzas which wasn't our plan. As for the pizzas, they were great. I had a personal one made up to include gorgonzola cheese, salami and a spicy chilli sauce. My son had his standard margarita pizza which he devoured hungrily. The bill came to just under 30,00 Euro - not bad for evening dinner. And the friendly young waitress politely laughed at all my banter once she finally got around to understand my "Hoch Deutsch" compared to the local "Plat" equivalent. I didn't know that in this part of Germany they have no idea what "Fass Brause" is. He had to make do with Mezzomix :-)
