Service is great, I'm Alman but I feel at home

We ordered a kebab plate and a vegetarian Turkish pizza. It went really quickly and the two gentlemen were very friendly. Turkish pizza with cheese was really tasty and the size was absolutely great for the price. Personally, I find the kebab plate a bit expensive and I don't understand the surcharge of almost 5 euros over a simple kebab, especially if you don't have pasta or fries, just bread. But of course, we would pick up something to-go here again 😉

The kebab was extremely dry and didn't taste good, the sauce was runnier than water, the sauce dripped down, the things weren't seasoned, the spicy powder had no taste, it wasn't spicy Everything about it, the kebab was a 2 out of 10

Doner was great. Brother saw that we were students and offered us drinks and dessert along with the meal, thank you very much. The food in the photo is xxl dönerteller pommes, number 11 on the menu.

Very good food, clean and varied. Warm food and delicious sweets. Simply great, gladly again!

Eat well and quickly if you like kebab. Lots of places to sit. Good proximity to the train station.

I have always eaten here for years. I have now eaten a dozen times better kebabs than the 7 EUR kebabs from here. The sauce wasn't particularly fresh and there was hardly any tomato in the salad. The price probably consists mainly of the location costs. But not much is invested in the quality of the ingredients. Hopefully they can improve that. And honestly, offering no yogurt sauce and just “cocktail” and this mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise is not enough for 7 euros.

Out of the question. The boys serve you a top kebab at the speed of light. Not only do you have to wait 0 seconds, no, the thing also tastes good and fills you up. On top of that, it feels like it's open 24/7. I lived just around the corner and despite the varied offerings here, there was no one who could hold a candle to the boys. I hope this review doesn't make the store more expensive and I get my midnight feast here for life. Simply an honor.

Best kebab in Mainz. I've tried a few, but always ended up with City Star Döner. Honest work is done here. Excellent quality. Everything was clean, especially behind the counter. Super friendly staff. Clear recommendation!

Worst kebab of my life, served with dead ladybugs

Doner kebab only with salad dressing and bland salad for €7 is a bit cheeky. I ordered “complete” and expected a little more. A dead ladybug was found in a friend's kebab. I now have bloating and stomach pain. Very heartlessly prepared.

They said a vegan kebab wouldn't be a problem. I got the worst dish you could imagine. Bad flatbread with lots of onions, cabbage and tomato sauce. It's really not okay to sell something like that. Just being honest when you have nothing is probably not too much to ask.

Employees extremely disrespectful. The man in the blue shirt asked me where my boyfriend was and then said that I would sleep on the doorstep tonight because I was traveling without him. Disgusting behavior.

Today I ate a very tasty pizza at the City Star Döner Burgerhaus and the staff was very nice and polite, the kitchen and all the restaurants were very clean.

City Döner surprised me with a fantastic pizza. I ordered the Orient pizza, which came loaded with delicious kebab meat, fresh tomato slices, onions, and even some kickin' jalapenos. The real star was the crust - nice and thick with a satisfying crunch. The pizza was also generously drizzled with flavorful sauces. Bonus points: The staff member, though his English wasn't perfect, was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself had a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a great experience at City Döner. I'd definitely recommend checking them out, especially if you're looking for a pizza with a bit of a twist.

Doner kebab is of poor quality and makes your stomach ache.

We were here on a Tuesday. Friendly welcome, easy ordering. Pay later. So first sit down and wait. We ordered a kebab plate and pizza. The kebab plate was generously stocked. The food was pretty substantial (filling). The pizza was missing oregano and spices. It was well topped, the cheese seemed like fake mozzarella. It was juicy, thick and the edge was slightly burnt in some places. The kebab plate was good, the meat, the salad, everything was great. About the ambience: A bit dark and a bit unpleasant “upstairs” because of the slot machines and dimmed lights. The table wasn't that clean but was wiped down. The toilet was clean but very narrow. Overall a positive visit.

I came constantly for a week, always gave tips and you gave me old fries and meat. Shame on you, you have lost a regular customer.

Everything is fine, my recommendation for late hunger.

After eating doner kebab here, you won't be able to eat doner kebab anywhere else, it tastes legendary, I definitely recommend it.

Das Fleisch hat man nicht herausgeschmeckt, liegt aber vielleicht daran, dass es ein Gemüsedöner ist. Brot war sehr lecker. Ansonsten hat man fast nur das Gemüse geschmeckt, welches mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen hat, vorallem, dass es gegrillt war(ist aber Geschmacksache). Die Soße fand ich nicht so gut. Der Preis von 6,50€ ist meiner Meinung nach für den Döner in Ordnung, bei der heutigen Situation. Insgesamt also maximal einer der besseren Döner in Mainz, überdurchschnittlich. Netter Mitarbeiter, Musik teilweise jedoch zu laut, man fühlt sich manchmal wie in einer Diskothek.

Diese laden existiert nur, aufgrund seiner Öffnungszeiten in der Nacht. Das Personal ist unfreundlich und geht nicht auf die Wünsche des Gastes richtig ein. Hauptsache verkaufen und gut ist.....

Alles Okey und so die haben Tee auf Haus gemacht aber wo ich ein Tag danach dort war haben die mehr Geld berechnet und die Pommes schmeckt nachts nix und die Döner Soßen aber Döner Ansich schmeckt geil

An sich gutes Essen. Ambiente ist okay,Service ist auch gut. Leider lässt seit einiger Zeit das Fleisch etwas nach- es ist sehniger als sonst. Dennoch schmeckt es immer noch gut. Leider sind auch hier die Preise enorm angestiegen

Das ist mit Abstand der beste Dönerladen in Mainz. Das ganze Personal ist immer sehr freundlich der Döner ist perfekt für nach dem Feiern oder auch mal so. Geschmacklich top, Preise völlig In Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr schnell und man kriegt gefühlt rund um die Uhr einen Döner auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert. Man kann bar und Karte zahlen was wenn man mal kein Bargeld hat, auch sehr gut ist. Alles in einem sehr guter Service und vor allem sehr guter Döner

Hatte eine Pizza, die sehr lecker war. Von der großen wird man auch satt. Bin zufällig vorbei gekommen und habe es einfach mal ausprobiert. Leider kein Bild gemacht, komme aber wieder und hole das dann nach.

Sehr gute Pommes und ausgezeichneter Service. Wir haben nur Pommes gegessen weil wir diese im Laden schräg gegenüber zurück gegeben haben 😂😂
