City Döner-Alanya in Lübbecke

I simply have to give a huge shout-out to Derya, Andrea, and the whole team. Since around mid-2023, I've been coming here almost every Wednesday evening and have always received a warm and friendly welcome, no matter how busy it is or how full the place is. Even on busy days like Saturdays or Sundays, I've always been greeted and served in a friendly manner. This speaks volumes about their excellent hospitality and the warm hospitality of their staff. The doner kebab, or whatever food I ordered, was always freshly made and never disappointed. The homemade sauces, in particular, are an absolute game-changer and, in my opinion, the highlight. Thank you for the wonderful doner kebab I get every single time!

Yesterday, I ate a kebab in this beautiful shop and I was very impressed. I've eaten many kebabs, and none were as delicious as this one! It wasn't just the kebab that won me over. They really go big here, not just small: really large portions with plenty of meat (the doner kebabs are almost twice as big as at other places). The value for money is still good here 👍 Plus, the staff is super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Despite ordering (in advance) by phone, we still had to wait more than 40 minutes for our takeaway food. Of course, this can happen when something goes wrong, but the "walk-in" customers were also served before us, and that's simply unacceptable—especially with children obviously waiting.

If we treat ourselves to a kebab, it's always from City Döner. You can see for yourself how delicious it is there. The team is always pushing themselves to the limit 😉. Still, it's always nice 👍

I've heard a lot about this place, a lot of people praise it. I went to check it out, but it wasn't for me. The meat is ok. They reject ready-made sauces, I ordered a spicy kebab and it wasn't spicy at all.

I came in to order 2 kebabs and it was so quick that it felt like I wasn't there but I got everything I wanted.

All I can say is it's super tasty and I would happily give it one more star. The staff are relaxed and fun. The price and performance are completely fine. You can also pre-order and pick up.

Wir bestellen immer Lahmacun mit Dönerfleisch. Preis/Leistung nicht zu toppen mit anderen Dönerläden hier in der Nähe.

Wir haben uns zwei Putendöner zum Mitnehmen geholt. Beim einen Spieß ist das Grillgerät ausgefallen und ich musste etwas warten bis es wieder lief. Das war aber kein Problem. Der Inhaber hat sich mehrfach dafür entschuldigt. Der Döner ist der schmackhafteste der ganzen Gegend, sehr lecker. Preislich normal. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es fürs Ambiente, das könnte man besser machen. Und man könnte vielleicht auch die Tür schließen, wenn es draußen 0 Grad sind. Es war echt kalt.
