City Döner in Scheeßel

The doner meat had a high proportion of minced meat, and the börek were unfortunately dry and tasted stale. However, the service was great, and the portion was a good size.

Always friendly and quick service. Fair prices and delicious food. Highly recommended.

The food is always delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the entire team is extremely friendly :) There's also a wide selection of different dishes at absolutely fair prices!

Döner kebab is ok, you can eat it but you don't have to... if you like to have hair in your kebab that is nice and thick and black, you'll find exactly what you're looking for here. It's not that difficult to wear a hat... never again.

So, I was there on August 30, 2025, around 3 p.m. to get a kebab to go. The place was recommended to me (I'm from Rotenburg), and I wanted to check it out. What can I say? So super fresh, super delicious...the bread was crispy and fresh, the meat was top quality, with no gristle or anything like that, the ingredients were fresh, like they were just chopped two minutes ago, so... honestly? Best kebab in ages! I'll go back! I also had the impression that everything was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly... There's really nothing to complain about! I can only recommend it! We got a kebab to go, and it really wasn't good. I felt really sick afterward, and the quality was subpar. The bread was soggy and almost entirely covered in white cabbage.

I'm on vacation here. I'm from Saarland. I've rarely eaten such a great kebab, and my partner had turkey schnitzel with fries and a great salad. The portion was huge, everything was fresh, and the service was very good. We'll definitely be back. THANK YOU SO MUCH

A colleague gave out food.. and I always took a vegetarian dürüm with cheese gratin because it was always very tasty.. and suddenly it doesn't make sense anymore?? It's offered on the menu.. then you should do something like that.. I was a bit disappointed when I didn't have any cheese.. but that's a good way to scare away your customers.. I definitely won't order from it again..

From the first bite I knew: “This is it!” A real taste explosion. The store's hygiene standards are also exemplary - everything is sparkling clean and tidy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, you really feel valued as a guest. The service was quick and flawless, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Do you actually pay for fruit flies in salad? I had ordered a chicken kebab and then saw the heavy infestation of fruit flies on the salad counter. That was very disgusting and I really question the hygiene here.

Actually, we were always regulars. Now we're reluctant to get food here. Because there is always cartilage in the chicken kebab. And not a few. At least 3-4 cartilage per kebab. Inferior meat! The salad on the kebab plate always turns out far dry without dressing. Herbs or spices sold. For the price, that's pretty cool!

I got a pizza with olives, salami and feta, the topping and the taste were great, but the pizza dough was dry and sticky, so a new recipe is probably due. Others in Scheeßel can do pizza better.

We were there for the first time with my family and we were warmly welcomed and greeted, which pleasantly surprised me because normally you only get a normal “hello”. We ordered 3 kebab plates and 2 rollos and the kebab plate was prepared with fresh salad and the meat and the sauces tasted excellent. I can only recommend the store and you definitely have to try it out.

The best kebab shop far and wide with a huge selection! Super delicious food, really! Even the children are happy, although my children are very picky when it comes to food. Der döner schmeckt perfekt, genug Fleisch, genug soße, bei Star döner ist der döner immer so kalt das man fast Hirnfrost bekommt, deren Baklava schmeckt ungenießbar, und der Lieferdienst ist sehr schlecht

Februar 2023: Yummy und gute Qualität beim Huhn Döner. Alle Zutaten sind frisch und lecker. Die Saucen ebenso. Top. Hervorragender Geschmack. Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis für mich (uns) optimal. Einen Jumbo und Mega Döner, üppig gefüllt, und ein Energy für 15 Euro. Zum Vergleich nehme ich jetzt mal die beiden Fastfood Ketten, wo Du für die gleiche Menge zum Sattessen heutzutage bei 25 Euro liegst. Und Du weißt ja, der Döner gehört zum gesunden Imbiss-Snack. Die beiden freundlichen Herrschaften passen in das Klischee und sind charmant, authentisch, wie man es erwartet 😉👍 Das Ambiente ist sauber und aufgeräumt. Es gibt an der Fensterseite ein paar Sitzgelegenheiten mit Tischen und Stühlen zum kurzen Verweilen. Parkplätze direkt davor stehen zur Verfügung. Ich hatte Glück. Ich komme definitiv wieder. Bleibt so!! Alles ist Tippi toppi 😇
