I've been to Christos Restaurant in Bielefeld several times with various groups, and I've been impressed every time. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, even if the portions could be a bit larger for my taste – I rarely felt completely full. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is friendly and attentive. Particularly positive: I could order potato gratin for free, the salad was fresh, and the uzun at the end is simply a must. In terms of value for money, Christos in Bielefeld is definitely among the best – fair prices for good quality and service. I'd be happy to come back!

We discovered Christos today thanks to the "City for 2" coupon booklet. Full marks in every area. No smaller portions (that's what you hear when you arrive with a coupon booklet like that). The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service excellent. Christos told us about his children's successful careers. That's why the restaurant will probably close after him. What a shame! So, I highly recommend the restaurant. Go there while it's still open!

Simply fantastic! We've eaten at this restaurant several times, and we always receive a warm welcome. The atmosphere is great, it's not overcrowded, the service is very uncomplicated, and most importantly: the food is excellent and fairly priced! I almost always eat lamb there, and it's always been super fresh and cooked to perfection! We also received a dessert recommendation: Galaktoboureko, simply fantastic! We'll be back again!

The food was simply indescribably good. Meat cooked to perfection. So delicious that we couldn't stop raving about it. Working day during the week. Early evening, empty shop, no one there except us. At first glance, the selection was good, the appetizer plate was okay, but nothing that justified the price. Main course with dry fish and watery vegetables but five euros more expensive than at the other Greek place down the street. Everything is still too much to bear. But then the chairs are loudly cleared away and noses are just as loudly turned up while we're still eating - I've never experienced that either. No good!a

Very fine restaurant where you are greeted and farewell with a polite handshake. The vegetable platter was very tasty, the potato gratin was delicious. My counterpart's meat platter was very tender and tasty. The prices are on the higher side, but it's worth it for the quality and good service. At the beginning I felt there was a bit too much service and presence from the staff, so it was difficult to "arrive". But maybe it was just unusual. 😊 I would be happy to visit Christos Restaurant again! Thank you for everything!

The food was great, just like it has been for years. The lamb salmon was top notch as always. But the staff shortage is really noticeable. The boss apologized countless times. But the place was packed on Saturday. 2 waitresses are not enough. We didn't get past 1 drink. The 2nd one was delivered shortly before paying. The fact that there were no more potatoes at 8 a.m. wasn't so nice either. OK, ordered 2 portions of fries. They were never delivered. You can see that the staff is hurrying up and making a real effort. So still great. We won't go there on Saturdays anymore. Otherwise still our top restaurant for lamb salmon etc.

Quality is good, but the portions are definitely children's sized, even considering the price. Even though you leave €70 for the two of you, you still have a little brother at home. To nip misunderstandings in the bud, we are anything but overweight. It's a shame, that was different, the wrong path was taken.

We have been regular customers for years and were there yesterday 18.08. eat at Christos. Unfortunately, things have gotten worse since the last time around 6 months ago. First the prices were increased by about 15% and then, what is even worse, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly and the portions have become smaller. The meat, including fillet, was dry and difficult to eat. This way you won't gain any new customers or you'll lose us as regular customers. What has to be mentioned positively is the extremely friendly service. But that alone is not enough.

We came all the way from Hamburg and were not disappointed. It was a very nice evening with great food and very friendly and accommodating hosts 😊. Thanks

My review was deleted at the request of the restaurant, so again: “Second class” treatment because of the City for two voucher?? It's a shame, dear Christo's team. You obviously didn't understand that participating in City For Two is an opportunity for you as a restaurant operator to convince guests who come for the first time with the voucher that the restaurant is worth visiting even without a voucher. Maybe you don't need that? Then you should not take part in the City For Two program. Because your inhospitable behavior may reflect badly on City For Two. However, this is the second time I have visited the block and so far we have never been treated so badly in any restaurant in Bielefeld. So next time instead of with friends, lots of hunger and a full wallet - we definitely won't be coming back. And here's why: I was at Christo's with a friend on a Monday early evening a while ago. The week before, we also received excellent service with the voucher at Alamanos a few hundred meters away and had a very delicious meal. Now we wanted to test this restaurant. After all, that's what the block is there for... We were initially greeted very friendly with a handshake and were assigned a nice table for two. (Small side note: it was very cold on the wall and we both had pretty cold feet and legs) A look at the menu showed that there wasn't a single main course up to 13.90 that could have been paid for with the 2 for 1 main course voucher (unfortunately the restaurant doesn't have a menu online, otherwise we would have known that and prepared for it) . We then wanted to order the mixed starter platter for 2 people (for €31 - so €15.50 per person) and still use the voucher. According to the waiter, this wasn't possible because it wasn't a main course. An additional payment is of course possible for this, but not for the STARTERS. After some discussion, we agreed with the boss who was called that the "10 discount on the total bill" voucher, which was also in the voucher block, could be used and so we ordered the appetizer platter and drinks. Unfortunately, all hospitality was gone from that moment on. We received the drinks we ordered, the seemingly usual portion of bread and dips on the house and shortly afterwards our platter. But after that no waiter was seen again. Although he checked on the next table several times and took orders, not even our dip plate was cleared away. After a short time we were left stranded and were not asked a few times if we would like something more to drink. We were also not asked whether we liked the food. And to be honest, neither of us really enjoyed it. All parts on the plate were bland and not at all seasoned in a typical Greek way. And as far as the quantity is concerned, we found it very manageable for 31,-. We would have expected at least a little bread with it, but this was obviously not included and we couldn't order any because no waiter came to our table. One of my previous reviewers here (Jens P.) wrote: "We were cursed with invisibility."... and that's how we felt. When we had already finished eating and drinking for some time, the waiter even came and without comment took away the side table on which our empty plates were standing because it was needed at the next table. But unfortunately the idea of ​​asking if we would like to order anything else didn't come up. Since we weren't full, we would have liked to order something more, but they were obviously no longer interested in us. So we had to first draw attention to ourselves in order to pay. At the end there was an ouzo on the house, but unfortunately that couldn't save the overall negative impression.

Ein sehr schönes griechischee Restaurant mit gutem Essen.

Das Essen war phantastisch. Vorab gab es einen gemischten Vorspeisenteller mit Knoblauchbrot und zusätzlich einen gemischten Salat. Das einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe ist, dass zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptspeise kaum Zeit war. Hier dürfte man dem Gast gerne ein wenig mehr Zeit gönnen.

Hat länger gedauert, Krautsalat fehlte im essen und falsche Soße. Jalapeno aus dem Glas und das die den Preis , nicht verständlich. Reis sollte vielleicht von der Karte genommen werden.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service sehr freundlich. Obwohl wir mit einer großen Gruppe dort waren (30 Personen), war der Servive super kompitent! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Unglaublich leckeres Essen und ein ganz toller, herzlicher Service! Die Gerichte erscheinen auf den ersten Blick nicht günstig, allerdings sind eine Vorspeisenplatte sowie eine große Schale mit gemischtem Salat dabei - die Hauptgerichte selbst sind absolut herausragend zubereitet. Wir hatten zwei Lammgerichte und die vegetarische Platte, sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Seit Jahren bin ich immer mal wieder da und bisher gab es noch nichts, was mich irgendwie enttäuscht hätte. Sehr leckeres Essen, netter Service, leckerer Wein, Brot, Salat und Cremes vom Haus aus als Vorspeise und das Ambiente ist auch ganz schön. Schon etwas Hochpreisiger aber super lecker!
