We had a wonderful meal at Cristofs with the whole family on Sunday. All the dishes were excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the lovely atmosphere made everything perfect. We felt completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely come back again – we'd love to!

This was our third visit. Once again, it was incredibly impressive! The food is always sensational, especially the roast goose leg this time! So tender inside and crispy on the outside…world-class! And let's not forget the appetizers, simply delicious. But the "secret weapon" that always draws us back is the Kaiserschmarrn! We can't do without it 😂 Conclusion: Highly recommended!!!

We were invited there for a three-course birthday meal, so we can't really comment on the price. Wow! The food was simply fantastic, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was also very quick, despite our large group. The only downside is the somewhat inconvenient parking. However, there's a large parking lot 5-10 minutes away. If we're ever in Bedburg again, we'll definitely eat there again.

The mustard roast was a real highlight: wonderfully spicy, tender as butter, and served in a delicious sauce. The burger was also absolutely delicious – juicy, with the finest ingredients and a homemade touch. Added to that, the attentive and very friendly service made the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. A lovely atmosphere, honest, high-quality cuisine, and genuine hospitality – we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We were there on a Friday and the restaurant was very busy, and we had a reserved table in the upper right-hand corner of the restaurant. Top restaurant, I'd say so honestly. One of the few restaurants where you can order everything from the menu, without exception, and it's delicious. You should be aware that this is a more upscale restaurant.

On the recommendation of a colleague, we visited here for the first time with five people. Our expectations were more than exceeded. For our vegan family member, there was such a large selection of special dishes that it was difficult to decide. There was even a vegan menu, which would otherwise be a long search. But everyone else could also choose from a manageable, yet excellent and varied seasonal menu. All three courses were prepared and presented with perfection. The service was unobtrusive and always within easy reach. A 100 percent recommendation.

Despite the historic structure, they have found a very good solution for accessibility: There is both a ramp and an accessible restroom. The restaurant is housed in a charmingly restored historic building. Plenty of wood, brick, and carefully selected details create a cozy atmosphere. We actually managed to eat three courses each. There was another classic, and the rest of the daily menu. Everything was delicious and stood out not only in terms of taste, but also from the usual, monotonous selection. Thanks for the jus! The kitchen and service teams have now become well-coordinated. Unfortunately, we didn't particularly enjoy our Wednesday evening visit. The four dishes we ordered were generally satisfactory to good. However, with the veal strips, you had to practically hunt for the meat – it was more reminiscent of a mushroom strips. It's a shame, especially since the prices are quite high. We sat inside, where the service was unfortunately neither attentive nor particularly friendly. Overall, a rather disappointing impression.

What a find. in the little hamlet behind the hotel, we found this fabulous restaurant. The menu choice allows everyone to enjoy food here. We had the cod and the steak, both cooked beautifully. Service was first class with very helpful and friendly staff. Despite the language barrier, we were very well looked after. The wine and beer were first class too. Go eat here. At first, we thought: It's a shame that the old pancake restaurant is gone, but what's become of it makes us forget it. The setting of the old Kaster restaurant is hard to beat, but the selection and preparation of the food is up there, at least on our first visit. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, I was blinded by the many positive reviews, or it was simply a bad day for the restaurant. We were in the restaurant for over three hours and (apart from the first order) weren't asked once if we wanted more drinks. After we ordered our food, there was silence again. After about an hour, we finally received our food. Unfortunately, the dish was tasteless and didn't live up to the overpriced price. No one at the table enjoyed it; it was just nice to look at. A shame for such a restaurant with such a great location.

We went to Christofs for the first time on Saturday. Friendly and attentive staff. And really good food. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here. We sat outside, and unfortunately, it occasionally smelled a bit like a sewer, which isn't the restaurant's fault, but it was still unpleasant, and you sit very close together. Otherwise, everything was great.

You can tell the chef is a professional. A few things went wrong with the service, but they apologized politely. We sat outside and it was fine. Next time, I'll take a look inside the restaurant. However, I still need to ask about the water. We'll be back.

Not the first time, and not the last. Yesterday, six of us celebrated our birthday at Christofs. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and, for me, tasted perfect. We had sea bream with gnocchi, cured radishes, and braised cucumber, veal strips with chanterelle mushrooms, and beef short ribs with risotto and pear compote. The drinks came quickly, and we were always asked immediately if something was empty to reorder. The waiters were, as they say, perfectly unobtrusive. The ambiance in Alt-Kaster is also quaint and cozy. You immediately feel like you're in a kind of upscale pub atmosphere, where you can easily slip into a relaxed party mood with great and constantly changing dishes. Actually, a 6 out of 5.

We were looking for a table for 8 people at a restaurant at short notice and found one here. None of us knew the restaurant, and based on reviews, we had no idea what to expect, as some were satisfied, others weren't. We were initially surprised by the beautiful ambiance and immediately felt at home. We were served promptly, and drinks arrived promptly. The service was extremely friendly and courteous. In addition to the à la carte menu, there was also a daily/weekly special. Despite the limited menu, it was difficult for us to choose. We were all very satisfied with our choices. The food was delicious, the portions were sufficient, and the price was reasonable. We don't understand why some people think the prices are overpriced (city prices). As if you spend less money in the village than in the city (I don't understand the comparison in a review). I had corn-fed chicken with risotto, asparagus, and chanterelle mushrooms for €24.50. I can calculate the value of the food and think the price is reasonable. There was also dessert, and that was also very tasty. The chef from the kitchen came to each table and asked if everything was okay. Keep it up... great concept, great service, delicious food! We'll be back!

First, the good news: The service is very friendly and we really like the ambiance! We ordered a waffle with vanilla ice cream and a yeast dumpling with cherries, vanilla sauce, and poppy seeds. Unfortunately, the waffle simply tasted of egg, and the vanilla ice cream only had a hint of vanilla. The yeast dumpling was cold, dry, and hard. I honestly expected warm cherries (but it doesn't say so anywhere), so it was a challenge to cut it down with a fork and spoon. Unfortunately, the vanilla sauce didn't taste of vanilla to me either. After the table was cleared, I pointed out that they shouldn't add the second cappuccino that hadn't arrived to the table to the bill. The waitress apologized and said, "Of course, I'll take it out." When I ordered the bill, it said two cappuccinos, but the bill was subsequently deducted. They apologized again and offered me ONE espresso. Every table was occupied, and the entire team was busy, but given the prices charged here, I still expect perfection. Too bad, we're disappointed.

We have often been guests at the Christofs Restaurant in the historic Alt-Kaster and have always felt very well looked after. We celebrated our daughter's wedding there. Just the right atmosphere for a wedding. It was a completely successful experience from start to finish. The ambience is extremely tastefully designed, stylish and yet cozy. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The food was a real highlight: seasonal and regional products, freshly and cleverly prepared, lovingly prepared and tasted excellent. Every course was a pleasure - you immediately notice that the cooking here is done with a lot of passion and skill. The service at Christofs was also first class. The staff was always attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Every wish was fulfilled immediately. A restaurant that I can fully recommend – everything is just right here! Absolutely recommended!

The food was very good. Unfortunately, combined with the slow service, it's not worth the money. The service was nice, but with the restaurant half full, we had to wait 10 minutes for tickets and 20 minutes for drinks and an hour for food after ordering, despite reservations. Luckily we weren't in a hurry, but the fact that we were very thirsty when ordering didn't seem to have any influence on the service. We sat not far from the bar and saw how slow work was going on here. What was so difficult about putting a bottle of water on the table? The service was very relaxed. Overall it's very familiar, you'll sometimes be spoken to straight away. As I said, the food was great, but extremely overpriced considering the standard of service of a simple restaurant... Ambience was modern.

We ate here on the recommendation of a colleague, and the food was truly exceptionally delicious and well-balanced. What wasn't right was the service as the evening progressed. The busier it got, the more often we had to call for a waiter, the tables were cleared later and later, and dessert and drinks didn't arrive at the same time, but rather at different times. Furthermore, the hot chocolate is a disgrace; despite complaining, we were served lukewarm foamed milk with a touch of cocoa powder, which is downright cheeky considering the price. Plus, with too many guests, it just gets loud.

Our absolute favorite restaurant. A very special plus point for us is the large selection of vegan dishes, as well as the regular change of these, so that it is never monotonous. The service is always very friendly. The prices are not low, but the chef ensures that the quality of the food is good. In fact, the dishes are small, but also allow for starters and desserts. And no one really needs to go out hungry, because if the portion isn't enough, you can ask for a second helping without being looked at askance.

Excellent food at an absolutely fair price. Here the boss himself is in the kitchen. All tables were occupied. You couldn't tell anyone was stressed, which is a great achievement by the staff. The boss also repeatedly came to the tables in person and when it was quieter late in the evening, he took time to talk to the guests and seemed very relaxed. We'll definitely be back!
