We picked up food through To good to go, we sat and waited and a man packed the food. Everything was packed, mostly things we don't like. Food was really bad and it smelled. To make matters worse, there was eggshell in the food. Even €10 was too much. Disgusting. Now we have a stomach ache and have thrown away the food because it has lost our appetite even more than the smell.

Unfortunately I didn't find the food very tasty. The sushi was already half dried and didn't taste good, the fish was very watery 😕. Not much choice of fruit or other dishes.

Dinner with 6 people, everyone was satisfied.

Were there 45 minutes before the buffet ended. The selection wasn't that big anymore, but it was absolutely enough to fill you up. There were enough parking spaces. The toilets were very clean.

We were there for lunch. The buffet was stocked with a variety of warm specialties, a large salad buffet, as well as sushi variations and desserts. Everything was very tasty and the staff was very nice and accommodating! Everything fine.

The food was very good. However, we couldn't see on the internet or on the menu that was available outside that there was only a buffet. We didn't mind, other guests left again. For us it was worth the price and we would come again.

Landed here by chance through Google Maps. We did not regret it. The food was absolutely delicious and seasoned a little differently than at our previous Chinese restaurants - but totally delicious. We are glad we were able to try the delicious buffet here today. Thank you for the nice management and the fantastic food! WE WILL BE BACK!!

Stayed nearby and was recommended to us for lunch. Never had such a bad meal at a Chinese restaurant. The best thing was that they asked for a tip when paying.

It's a nice quiet place to enjoy, no mass processing (like other buffet meals) Nice staff, food is delicious (bought) but normal for the prices. Ice cream tasted good and was completely ok for the price. Would go back at any time as you can relax and enjoy.

Everything was very tasty again. But what was missing was the great, firm, plain white rice! But there was rice with chicken and egg. The delicious blue marshmallow ice cream was also missing... But big extra praise for the always delicious soup!!!! We'd love to come back!!

A rich buffet, a bit of everything, including sushi. However, the food could be a little warmer. The price-performance ratio is therefore appropriate.

What attracted us to the restaurant was the ambience. That was the only good thing about the shop... We weren't asked if we wanted to eat a la carte but were asked straight away to go to the "buffet". Mozzarella that was so hard that it squeaked like an eraser on your teeth and dried tomatoes awaited us... Anyone who is used to good food should avoid this shop! It wasn't worth the money at all! The waiter even asks you about the lack of a tip... really an impertinence. Never again !!!!!

The Chinese food is very well done and tastes good. This is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten abroad.

The food from any frozen food counter is better. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I wanted to leave straight away (which I only didn't do because I had an appointment with a group) because it smelled like stale fish. My orange juice was stale and tasted like a refrigerator (so it was probably left there open for a long time), the food was edible, but nothing more. The mushrooms in my à la carte dish were tough as leather (probably dried and then not soaked in water long enough), the bamboo pods were canned and covered with a typical thickened glutamate sauce. Basically the same as you would expect from many of these lower category all you can eat Chinese restaurants. Has anyone ever wondered why you never see Chinese people eating in restaurants like this? And how is the so often praised “huge selection” of fresh products supposed to work? A discounter's own brand Bami Goreng for under €3/750g from the freezer definitely tastes fresher. It's a mystery to me why people go out to eat there and then praise it. Probably just because of the sheer amount you can eat at such a buffet. Incidentally, not well suited for vegetarians and vegans. There are 4 vegetarian dishes on the menu, which are anything but particularly appealing. Otherwise you are surrounded by the cheapest meat from frogs, zebras, pigs, beef etc...

We have been visiting this restaurant for years and it is always delicious!! Staff very attentive and we always feel very comfortable.

Ate the evening buffet. Totally worthless, cold food, chewy chicken, sour ice cream, rude staff, had to pay extra because the food was inedible and needed to be thrown away. We were tourists having dinner, no language skills from staff and no information about food waste, only a note on the table that said in German, bad for tourists! Angry man came and said we had to pay extra because we didn't want to eat their ice cold old food. Really bad place, never again!

For the amount paid you get a very small selection of dishes, some of them are overcooked, others are bland and not very tasty. Seafood is in a kind of slime. the service is very unprivileged and very rude in answering the phone call. the plates were dirty and a few tiny mosquitoes flew over the salmon sushi. the rice was 100% stale and very tasteless.

There was only a buffet for 22.50 euros, nothing from the menu. impertinence. Why does the man use the first name of me in his answer? I don't need to lie. It was Monday May 13th around 7:30 p.m. and there was only a buffet. We left again.

First of all... I can't understand the good reviews... Went there for the lunch buffet... There was enough choice... Soup fried noodles rice beef duck pork chicken 3 sauces... chocolate fountain with fruits ice cream soft ice cream cake jelly pudding... Salads vegetables warm and cold... Sushi... So something for every taste... The taste was ok but I'm used to better... Quality was sufficient... Definitely not again... But at least the service was always attentive and friendly... All in all I would say there is better Chinese food in Göttingen...

The fresh meat that could be fried was spoiled for the second time. I didn't even want to try the fish. Very sharp smell and that's exactly how it tastes/doesn't taste.... Unfortunately I've already lost my appetite.

Lunch buffet during the week, 2 adults: friendly welcome and service. Delicious food, a wide range of options, everything very tasty and of great quality. Our highlight at the end was the soft ice cream from the machine - delicious! Unreservedly recommended!

Have eaten there several times and have always been satisfied. Service is great, the employees are nice and clear the plates after every course. The food tastes good & is always warm/fresh.

After the restaurant tried to have my review deleted, I have already done so myself and am writing a new review. Food tastes very bland, hardly seasoned and sometimes cold. Poor quality. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Very loud in the restaurant. Everything looks like a bad factory canteen. The whole restaurant also doesn't seem particularly clean. The brief contact with the staff was friendly and there was nothing wrong with that. We didn't like it at all. A lot has to happen for us to visit it again.

We have always been very satisfied with the buffet so far. The service made us wait a very long time for the drinks and rarely came around. But always very friendly and helpful. I even got a little something from the house for my birthday. We'd love to come back. However, getting a parking space is a matter of luck.

An der Frischetheke lagen tiefgefrorene Frösche. Matschig Ente Erdnusssauße: Geschmacksrichtung irgendwas. Und so ging die Kulinarische Reise weiter....

Das war das schlechteste Buffet, was mein Mann und ich je gegessen haben. Der Kellner (sehr ungepflegt )ging ab und zu mal mit schlürfendem Gang an uns vorbei, das Buffet wurde nicht nachgefüllt, war nur lauwarm und geschmacklich so schrecklich, dass wir nach ca 25 Minuten das Restaurant verlassen haben. Die Auswahl war noch dazu sehr gering. Direkt neben unserem Tisch war die Decke nass und hatte Löcher. Definitiv nie wieder. Schade das mindestens 1 Stern vergeben werden muss.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, Essen war lecker, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Getränke wurden schnell gebracht. Wir gehen mal wieder hin.

Ein sehr vielfältiges Buffet mit außergewöhnlichen Zutaten

这家餐厅的服务人员很差，长象也怪怪的，又难看，好象根本不是中国人，态度恶劣，点饮料才能进餐，食物质量又差，比上次去差了很多，一点味道都没有，就象工厂里加工的食品，昨晚和朋友都很失望，不会再去了。

Ich hab noch nie so ein unfreundliches Personal erlebt wie heute ! Das Essen war mehr wie schlecht ! Und zur Krönung kostet das Essen an Silvester 25Euro ! Das steht nirgendwo ! Absoluter Wucherpreis für die Auswahl an Essen !

Qualität vom Essen ist leider schlechter geworden. Preis-Leistung passt leider nicht mehr.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit Freunden. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Auswahl groß. Versorgt vom nettem Personal und umgeben vom modernen Interieur. Was auch deutlich positiv auffiel war die angenehme Geräuschkulisse....keinesfalls so ein Mensafeeling wie bei einigen Mitbewerbern vor Ort. Klare Empfehlung.

Am Eingang wird man von einer Servicekraft begrüßt und zum Tisch geführt. Platzauswahl ist genügend, da mittags nicht übermäßig viel los ist. Dementsprechend ist das Buffet nicht so dicht gedrängt, wird aber auch nicht aufgefüllt wenn etwas so gut wie leer ist oder kein Fleisch mehr im Curry ist. Geschmacklich kann man sich nicht beschweren, ist solidie und den meistens anderen chinesischen Restaurants auf Augenhöhe. Für die Größe des Ladens erscheint das Buffet passend. Wer schon mal beim Chinesen All-you-can-eat gegessen hat, wird hier mit der Auswahl der Speisen vertraut sein. Leider keine Alleinstellungsmerkmale vorhanden, aber von der Qualität her passend. Enttäuschend war nur das Dessert, einfach Fertigkuchen aus dem Discounter um die Ecke in die Vitrine gestellt und fertig. Der Service war angenehm. Nicht zu aufdringlich aber man hat sich auch nicht vernachlässigt gefühlt. Benutzte Teller sind zügig abgeräumt worden. Rückblickend war der Besuch in der Orichdee angenehm, man bekommt anständiges Essen zum fairen bis günstigen Preis. Service ist nett und fix. Wie man es von den meisten Chinesen kennt. Und so reiht sich auch die Orchidee zu den anderen Restaurants des gehobenen Durchschnitts ein.

Sehr sauber alles, leckeres Essen,alles gut aufgefüllt, Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht,dass alles gut vorrätig war,Sushi lecker,Se vice super.Kann ich nur empfehlen,immer wieder gerne.

Nachtrag 23.09.2023: Upps, leider eine negative Überraschung, der Preis für das Buffet ist in der Zwischenzeit 23€. Die Suppe ist dünner und die allgemeine Qualität hat gelitten.Echt schade! Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Auch der mongolische Grill hat viele verschiedene ausgefallene Fleischsorten und Beilagen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Restaurant ist super Büffet ist super, Mitarbeiter freundlich und das Ambiente super alles super. Für Familienbesuche super.

Das Angebot ist gut und mir schmeckt es. Bestellungen zur Abholung werden sehr schnell ausgeführt. Anrufen, losfahren, fertig beica.8 Min. Fahrzeit. Alles mega heiß, Portionen sind riesig. Meist bleibt noch etwas für den nächsten Tag übrig.

Das Essen war gut aber leider nichts hervorragend. Mit der Familie gut mal zu besuchen. Die Keller waren nur zu 2. Was ich als zu wenig empfand, die Armen sind wirklich von a nach b gehechtet, sie wurden allen gerecht, aber eine Person mehr einstellen wäre wirklich gut.

Ich nahm die Gelegenheit wahr, über die to good to go-App übrig gebliebene Speisen des Abendbuffetts zum günstigen Preis zu probieren und war angenehm überrascht über die reichhaltige Zusammenstellung des Abendpakets mit einer Auswahl an fritierten Fisch-, Garnelen- und Hähnchenfleisch und Pommes. In der Mitnahmebox gestapelt sah es, klar, nicht so toll aus, wie auf Tellern serviert, aber es schmeckte trotzdem so gut, dass ich demnächst vor Ort zum Essen kommen werde.

Beim letzten Besuch war das Essen allgemein nur so lala. Ausschlaggebend ist jedoch das Ambiente - bei etwa 28 Grad Außentemperatur nur ein paar handelsübliche Ventilatoren ist nicht nett. Würde dort im Sommer solang das nicht geändert wird nicht mehr hingehen.

Super nettes Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch frisch. Die Auswahl war reichlich und sehr gut. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort hin, da es sehr ruhig und entspannend ist. Weiter so!

Ich besuchte das chinesische Restaurant Orchidee, da es in der Nähe meines Hotels lag. Ich bat um ein Menü, da ich keinen Appetit auf das Buffet hatte, aber auf das Buffet hingewiesen wurde. Das Buffet war nicht gut bestückt, viele der Tabletts fast leer. Ich entschied mich für das Thai Curry und das Rindfleisch und Zwiebeln. Beide waren sehr salzig. Ich bat um Bezahlung, und sie brachten meine Quittung über 21 Euro für das Buffet und 3 Euro für das bestellte Wasser heraus. Ich bot an, mit einer Karte zu bezahlen, und sie gaben an, dass es sich nur um Bargeld handelte. Als ich ging, sah ich einen anderen Tisch, der mit einer Karte bezahlte. Ich fand das Personal unhöflich und unehrlich und das Essen war das schlechteste, das ich seit langem hatte. Ich kann es definitiv nicht empfehlen. I visited Chinese Restaurant Orchidee as it was close to my hotel. I asked for a menu as I didn’t have the appetite for the buffet but was pointed toward the buffet any way. The buffet was not well stocked, with many of the trays nearly empty. I chose the Thai Curry and the Beef and Onions. Both were very salty. I asked to pay, and they brought out my receipt for 21 euro for the buffet and 3 euro for the water I ordered. I offered to pay with a card and they stated they were cash only. As I was leaving, I saw another table paying with a card. I found the staff to be rude and dishonest, and the food to be the worst I’ve had in quite a while. I definitely do not recommend.

100% not recommended, if you have a Chinese appetite. We ordered 4 dishes. Every dish uses the same sauce. Vegetables should be fried, they are boiled out of hot water, and then poured sauce. After the chicken is frozen, it is heated. Food, very stale. All in all, it's too bad. I don't want to give one star.

Wir hatten sowohl das Buffet, als auch à la carte. Insgesamt vier Personen. Wir haben zahlreiche Dinge probiert, und das Essen als sehr fade empfunden. Es fehlte einfach der typisch chinesische Geschmack.

Schade, das war für uns nix! Beim Sushi hatte ich das Gefühl, dass dieser schon etwas länger lag. Bei den frittierten Dingen war ich leider auch nicht angetan (komischer Nachgeschmack). Einige Speisen waren wiederum in Ordnung. Schokobrunnen, Eistruhe und Eismaschine sahen meines Erachtens unhygienisch aus... Coppenrath & Wiese brauche ich auch bei einem chinesischen Buffet nicht. ich in einem Ambiente ist nett, das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Wir hatten Hotpott bestellt und damit einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Zusätzlich konnten wir nach am Buffet bedienen. Auch dort war alles frisch und sehr schmackhaft. Auch das Personal war aufmerksam und sehr hilfreich. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Helle saubere Räume mit einer großartige Toilettenanlage! Gut warmes Essen sehr vielseitig und schmackhaft, auch die Teller sind vorgewärm! Reichhaltiges Angebot an Salate und Obst, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, auch Eis und ganze Tortenstücke sind mit im Angebot! Sehr freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung! Immer wieder eine reine Gaumenfreude, sehr weiter zu empfehlen!

Great food in very good price. For plus also variety of buffet and the decoration. Really nice option with grilling the food of your choice (shrimps, different meats, vegetables, etc). Already prepared food at buffet is very tasty.

Arrived around 19:30 a Saturday and since there seemed to be some people there, we decided to try it. Only buffet available for 15:90 per person,also for our kids aged 10/12. Food containers were pretty empty all the time so you had to scrape from the bottom,didn't look nice at all. Sushi looked terrible. The big rice container was almost empty and wasn't refilled during our stay. Waitress was completely uninterested and almost rude. Positive side was you could pick your own raw meat /fish/veggies and give to the chef for preparation. Taste was better but far from fine. Probably the worst Chinese I've tried.

This restaurant should be closed immediately. Sushi bar wasn't fresh even spoiled, soup was so salty that you couldn't eat and all empty pots with food laying there for hours. It was disgusting and hope I don't get sick of it.

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. DAS Essen wurde nach 21.00 nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Wir wollten im Kollegenkreis einen netten Abend verbringen würden aber um 22.00 mehr oder weniger sehr unfreundlich gebeten das Restaurant zu verlassen. ÖFFNUNGSZEIT 23.00. Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr betreten geschweige weiterempfehlen. Service und Freundlichkeit ist hier ein Fremdwort.

Wir wählten das Abendbuffet zum Preis von nur 13,90 €, was wir als sehr gutes Angebot empfanden, angesichts der wirklich riesigen Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Zudem wurden frische rohe Fleisch- und Fischsorten angeboten, die man sich auf den Grill legen lassen konnte. Sie wurden einem nach fertigstellung an den Tisch gebracht. Sushi war ebenfalls in guter Auswahl vorhanden. Die Ente war sehr knusprig. Wir haben viele Fischsorten probiert, uns frisch zubereiten lassen. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Würde wieder dort speisen.

Convenient fuelling stop if you are nearby hotels. But no more than bog standard buffet fare. The problem is food sits around too long. A fairly charmless restaurant which has little to recommend it.

We have decided for this restaurant as it was literally few steps from our hotel. First impression was good until we have been "welcomed" by a really unfriendly waitress. Asking few questions about pricing for us and our small son seemed to be too demanding...
